1Mapping the epigenetic modifications of DNA and RNA显示文摘Over 17 and 160 types of chemical modifications have been identified in DNA and RNA,respectively.The interest in understanding the various biological functions of DNA and RNA modifications has lead to the cutting-edged fields of epigenomics and epitranscriptomics.Developing chemical and biological tools to detect specific modifications in the genome or transcriptome has greatly facilitated their study.Here,we review the recent technological advances in this rapidly evolving field.We focus on high-throughput detection methods and biological findings for these modifications,and discuss questions to be addressed as well.We also summarize third-generation sequencing methods,which enable long-read and single-molecule sequencing of DNA and RNA modification.Lin-Yong Zhao Jinghui Song Yibin Liu Chun-Xiao Song Chengqi Yi 2020Protein & Cell2020,11,11:17
2Endovascular therapy for Acute ischemic Stroke Trial (EAST): study protocol for a prospective, multicentre control trial in China显示文摘Background and purpose:5 recent trials have shown the benefit of endovascular treatment for acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)due to large vessel occlusion of the anterior circulation.This study aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Solitaire thrombectomy in patients with moderate-to-severe stroke in the Chinese population,which has a high prevalence of intracranial atherosclerosis.Methods and analysis:This multicentre prospective control study will involve 17 stroke centres in China,and plans to recruit 150 patients in the intervention group,and 150 patients in the medical group,in which patients meet enrolment criteria but refuse intervention.Patients with AIS due to large vessel occlusion indicated for treatment with Solitaire stent retriever within 12 hours of symptom onset,and who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria,will be enrolled in this study.The primary efficacy endpoint is functional independence as defined by a modified Rankin Scale(mRS)score≤2 at 90 days or by functional improvement as defined by mRS,using shift analysis.The procedural efficacy endpoint is arterial recanalisation of the occluded target vessel measured by a modified Thrombolysis in Cerebral Infarction(mTICI)score equal or superior to 2b right following the use of the study device.The primary safety endpoint is symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage(sICH)within 24±3 hours postprocedure.Ethics and dissemination:The protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee at the coordinating centre and by the local Institutional Review Board of each participating centre.Trial registration number:NCT02350283.Zhongrong Miao Xiaochuan Huo Feng Gao Xiaoling Liao Chunjuan Wang Ya Peng Yibin Cao Shengli Chen Meng Zhang Changchun Jiang Xiaoxiang Peng Cunfeng Song Liping Wei Qiyi Zhu Zaiyu Guo Li Liu Hang Lin Hua Yang Wei Wu Hui Liang Anding Xu Kangning Chen Xingquan Zhao Yuesong Pan Hao Li Liping Liu Yilong Wang Yongjun Wang EAST investigators 2016Stroke & Vascular Neurology2016,1,2:8

4Adaptive Proportional-Derivative Sliding Mode Control Law With Improved Transient Performance for Underactuated Overhead Crane Systems显示文摘In this paper, an adaptive proportional-derivative sliding mode control(APD-SMC) law, is proposed for 2D underactuated overhead crane systems. The proposed controller has the advantages of simple structure, easy to implement of PD control, strong robustness of SMC with respect to external disturbances and uncertain system parameters, and adaptation for unknown system dynamics associated with the feedforward parts. In the proposed APD-SMC law, the PD control part is used to stabilize the controlled system, the SMC part is used to compensate the external disturbances and system uncertainties,and the adaptive control part is utilized to estimate the unknown system parameters. The coupling behavior between the trolley movement and the payload swing is enhanced and, therefore, the transient performance of the proposed controller is improved.The Lyapunov techniques and the La Salle's invariance theorem are employed in to support the theoretical derivations. 5Tuning sol size to optimize organosilica membranes for gas separation显示文摘A series of organosilica sols are prepared by the polymeric sol–gel method using 1,2-bis(triethoxysilyl)ethane(BTESE)as the precursor.Particle size distributions of the BTESE-derived sols are systematically investigated by carefully adjusting the synthesis parameters(i.e.,water ratios,acid ratios and solvent ratios)in the sol process.In certain conditions,increasing the water ratio or the acid ratio tends to cause larger sol sizes and bimodal particle size distributions.However,higher solvent ratios lead to smaller sol sizes and unimodal particle size distributions.The organosilica membranes prepared from the optimized sols show excellent H_2 permeances(up to 4.2×10^(-7)mol·m^(-2)·s^(-1)·Pa^(-1))and gas permselectitivies(H_2/CO_2 is 9.5,H_2/N_2 is 50 and H_2/CH_4 is 68).This study offers significant insights into the relationship between the sol synthesis parameters,sol sizes and membrane performance.Huating Song Yibin Wei Chenying Wang Shuaifei Zhao Hong Qi 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,1:3
6A hybrid genipin-crosslinked dual-sensitive hydrogel/nanostructured lipid carrier ocular drug delivery platform显示文摘The objective of this study was to develop a novel hybrid genipin-crosslinked dual-sensitive hydrogel/nanostructured lipid carrier(NLC) drug delivery platform. An ophthalmic antiinflammatory drug, baicalin(BN) was chosen as the model drug. BN –NLC was prepared using melt-emulsification combined with ultra-sonication technique. Additionally, a dual pH-and thermo-sensitive hydrogel composed of carboxymethyl chitosan(CMCS) and poloxamer 407(F127) was fabricated by a cross-linking reaction with a nontoxic crosslinker genipin(GP). GP-CMCS/F127 hydrogel was characterized by FTIR, NMR, XRD and SEM. The swelling studies showed GP-CMCS/F127 hydrogel was both pH-and thermo-sensitive. The results of in vitro release suggested BN –NLC gel can prolong the release of baicalin comparing with BN eye drops and BN –NLC. Ex vivo cornea permeation study was evaluated using Franz diffusion cells. The apparent permeability coefficient(Papp) of BN –NLC gel was much higher(4.46-fold) than that of BN eye drops. Through the determination of corneal hydration levels, BN –NLC gel was confirmed that had no significant irritation to cornea. Ex vivo precorneal retention experiments were carried out by a flow-through approach. The results indicated that the NLC-based hydrogel can prolong precorneal residence time. 7Engineering three-layer core–shell S-1/TS-1@dendritic-SiO_(2) supported Au catalysts towards improved performance for propene epoxidation with H_(2) and O_(2)显示文摘The advocacy of green chemical industry has led to the development of highly efficient catalysts for direct gas-phase propene epoxidation with green,sustainable and simple essence.The S-1/TS-1@dendritic-SiO_(2) material with three-layer core–shell structure was developed and used as the support for Au catalysts,which showed simultaneously fantastic PO formation rate,PO selectivity and stability(over 100 h)for propene epoxidation with H_(2) and O_(2).It is found that silicalite-1(S-1)core and the middle thin layer of TS-1 offer great mass transfer ability,which could be responsible for the excellent stability.The designed dendritic SiO_(2) shell covers part of the acid sites on the external surface of TS-1,inhibiting the side reactions and improving the PO selectivity.Furthermore,three kinds of SiO_(2) shell morphologies(i.e.,dendritic,net,mesoporous shell)were designed,and relationship between shell morphology and catalytic performance was elucidated.The results in this paper harbour tremendous guiding significance for the design of highly efficient epoxidation catalysts.Zhaoning Song Juncong Yuan Zhenping Cai Dong Lin Xiang Feng Nan Sheng Yibin Liu Xiaobo Chen Xin Jin De Chen Chaohe Yang 2020Green Energy & Environment2020,5,4:3
8A survey of the development of quadruped robots: Joint configuration, dynamic locomotion control method and mobile manipulation approach显示文摘Some quadruped robots developed recently show better dynamic performance and environmental adaptability than ever, and have been preliminarily applied in the field of emergency disposal, military reconnaissance and infrastructure construction. The development route, mechanisms design, control methods and mobile manipulating approaches of the quadruped robots are surveyed in this article. Firstly, the development route of the quadruped robot is combed, as the references of the forecast of the future work on quadruped robots. Then the bionic structure and the motion control method of the quadruped robot is summarized, the advantages and disadvantages are analyzed in aspects of gait switching, terrain adaption and disturbance resistance. Subsequently, aiming at the mobile manipulation of the quadruped robot, the representative leg-arm collaborative robots and the multi-task-oriented Whole-body Control (WBC) methods are introduced. 10Enhancing the dynamic electron transfer of Au species on wormhole-like TS-1 for boosting propene epoxidation performance with H_(2) and O_(2)显示文摘Engineering unique electronic structure of catalyst to boost catalytic performance is of prime scientific and industrial importance.Herein,the identification of intrinsic electronic sensitivity for direct propene epoxidation was first achieved over highly stable Au/wormhole-like TS-1 catalyst.Results show that the electron transfer of Au species can be regulated by manipulating the dynamic evolutions and contents of Au valence states,thus resulting in different catalytic performance in 100 h time-on-stream.By DFT calculations,kinetic analysis and multicharacterizations,it is found that the Au^(0) species with higher electronic population can easily transfer more electrons to activate surface O_(2) compared with Au^(1+) and Au^(3+) species.Moreover,there is a positive correlation between Au^(0) content and activity.Based on this correlation,a facile strategy is further proposed to boost Au^(0) percentage,resulting in the reported highest PO formation rate without adding promoters.This work harbors tremendous guiding significance to the design of highly efficient Au/Ti-containing catalyst for propene epoxidation with H_(2) and O_(2).Dong Lin Xiuhui Zheng Xiang Feng Nan Sheng Zhaoning Song Yibin Liu Xiaobo Chen Zhenping Cai De Chen Chaohe Yang 2020Green Energy & Environment2020,5,4:1

12Catalyst for Increasing Ethylene and Propylene Production and Its Industrial Application in a Catalytic Pyrolysis Unit显示文摘Light olefins,particularly ethylene and propylene,are the most important building blocks for the petrochemical industry,and demand for their production has been increasing.The catalytic pyrolysis process(CPP)and the corresponding catalyst,developed by SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing Co.,Ltd.,are designed to maximize the light olefin yield from catalytic cracking of heavy feedstocks.However,owing to the continuing degradation of feedstocks,the original catalyst can no longer maintain its activity.Herein,we describe the rational design of the new catalyst,Epylene,from a new metal-modified hierarchical ZSM-5 zeolite and matrix.Epylene was tested in the CPP unit of Shaanxi Yanchang Coal Yulin Energy and Chemical Company.A test run and base run were conducted to demonstrate the better performance of Epylene compared with the original catalyst.The properties of the feedstocks and the operating conditions in both runs were similar.The light olefin yield was increased from 33.95%to 36.50%and the coke yield was only 9.58%in the test run,which was lower than that in the base run.Sha Yuchen Wang Peng Ouyang Ying Zhu Genquan Lu Lijun Song Haitao Lin Wei Luo Yibin 2023China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2023,25,2:1
13An RNA-RNA crosstalk network involving HMGB1 and RICTOR facilitates hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis by promoting glutamine metabolism and impedes immunotherapy by PD-L1+ exosomes activity显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the global leading cause of cancer-related deaths due to the deficiency of targets for precision therapy.A new modality of epigenetic regulation has emerged involving RNA-RNA crosstalk networks where two or more competing endogenous RNAs(ceRNAs)bind to the same microRNAs.However,the contribution of such mechanisms in HCC has not been well studied.Herein,potential HMGB1-driven RNA-RNA crosstalk networks were evaluated at different HCC stages,identifying the mT0RC2 component RICTOR as a potential HMGB1 ceRNA in HBV^(+)early stage HCC.Indeed,elevated HMGB1 mRNA was found to promote the expressio n of RICTOR mRNA through competitively bin ding with the miR-200 family,especially miR-429.Functio nal assays emplo ying overexpressi on or in terference strategies dem on strated that the HMGB1 and RICTOR 3zuntra nslated regions(UTR)epigenetically promoted the malignant proliferation,self-renewal,and tumorigenesis in HCC cells.Intriguingly,in terference agai nst HMGB1 and RICTOR in HCC cells promoted a stron ger an ti-PD-L1 immuno therapy resp on se,which appeared to associate with the production of PD-L1^(+)exosomes.Mechanistically,the HMGB1-driven RNA-RNA crosstalk network facilitated HCC cell glutamine metabolism via dual mechanisms,activating a positive feedback loop involving mT0RC2-AKT-C-MYC to upregulate glutamine synthetase(GS)expression,and inducing mTORCI signaling to derepress SIRT4 on glutamate dehydrogenase(GDH).Meanwhile,this crosstalk network could impede the efficacy of immunotherapy through mTORCI-P70S6K dependent PD-L1 production and PD-L1^(+)exosomes activity.In conclusion,our study highlights the non-coding regulatory role of HMGB1 with implicatio ns for RNA-based therapeutic targeting together with a predictio n of an ti-PD-L1 immuno therapy in HCC.Yanping Wei Xuewu Tang Yibin Ren Yun Yang Fengliang Song Jingbo Fu Shuowu Liu Miao Yu Jing Chen Suyang Wang Kecheng Zhang Yexiong Tan Zhipeng Han Lixjn Wei Baohua Zhang Zhangjun Cheng Liang Li Hongyang Wang 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,1:0
14Scene images and text information‐based object location of robot grasping显示文摘With the rapid development of artificial intelligence(AI),the application of this technology in the medical field is becoming increasingly extensive,along with a gradual increase in the amount of intelligent equipment in hospitals.Service robots can save human resources and replace nursing staff to achieve some work.In view of the phenomenon of mobile service robots'grabbing and distribution of patients'drugs in hospitals,a real‐time object detection and positioning system based on image and text information is proposed,which realizes the precise positioning and tracking of the grabbing objects and completes the grasping of a specific object(medicine bottle).The lightweight object detection model NanoDet is used to learn the features of the grasping objects and the object category,and bounding boxes are regressed.Then,the images in the bounding boxes are enhanced to overcome unfavourable factors,such as a small object region.The text detection and recognition model PP‐OCR is used to detect and recognise the enhanced images and extract the text information.The object information provided by the two models is fused,and the text recognition result is matched with the object detection box to achieve the precise posi-tioning of the grasping object.The kernel correlation filter(KCF)tracking algorithm is introduced to achieve real‐time tracking of specific objects to precisely control the robot's grasping.Both deep learning models adopt lightweight networks to facilitate direct deployment.The experiments show that the proposed robot grasping detection system has high reliability,accuracy and real‐time performance.Zhichao Liu Kaixuan Ding Qingyang Xu Yong Song Xianfeng Yuan Yibin Li 2022IET Cyber-Systems and Robotics2022,4,2:0

16Design and Experimental Validation of a Worm-Like Tensegrity Robot for In-Pipe Locomotion显示文摘Traditional rigid-body in-pipe robots usually have complex and heavy structures with limited flexibility and adaptability.Although soft in-pipe robots have great improvements in flexibility,they still have manufacturing difficulties due to their reliance on high-performance soft materials.Tensegrity structure is a kind of self-stressed spatial structure consisting discrete rigid struts connected by a continuous net of tensional flexible strings,which combines the advantages of both rigid structures and soft structures.By applying tensegrity structures into robotics,this paper proposes a novel worm-like tensegrity robot for moving inside pipes.First,a robot module capable of body deformation is designed based on the concept of tensegrity and its deformation performance is analyzed.Then,the optimal parameters of the module are obtained based on the tensegrity form-finding.The deformation ability of the tensegrity module is tested experimentally.Finally,the worm-like tensegrity robot that can crawl inside pipes is developed by connecting three modules in series.Motion performance and load capacity are tested on the prototype of the worm-like tensegrity robot by experiments of moving in horizontal pipe,vertical pipe,and elbow pipe.Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design and suggest that the robot has high compliance,mobility,and adaptability although with simple structure and low cost.Xiaolin Dai Yixiang Liu Wei Wang Rui Song Yibin Li Jie Zhao 2023Journal of Bionic Engineering2023,20,2:0
