1Changes in terrestrial surface dry and wet conditions on the Loess Plateau(China) during the last half century显示文摘This paper,using a revised Penman-Monteith model,computed the terrestrial surface humidity index of the Loess Plateau(China) based on climatic factors of monthly mean temperature,maximum temperature,minimum temperature,relative humidity,precipitation,wind speed and sunshine duration observed on the plateau from 1961 to 2008.The temporal-spatial distribution,anomaly distribution and sub-regional temporal variations of the terrestrial surface dry and wet conditions were analyzed as well.The results showed a decreasing trend in the annual average surface humidity from the southeast to the northwest in the research area.Over the period of 1961-2008,an aridification tendency appeared sharply in the central interior region of the Loess Plateau,and less sharply in the middle part of the region.The border region showed the weakest tendency of aridification.It is clear that aridification diffused in all directions from the interior region.The spatial anomaly distribution of the terrestrial surface dry and wet conditions on the Loess Plateau can be divided into three key areas:the southern,western and eastern regions.The terrestrial annual humidity index displayed a significantly descending trend and showed remarkable abrupt changes from wet to dry in the years 1967,1977 and 1979.In the above mentioned three key areas for dry and wet conditions,the terrestrial annual humidity index exhibited a fluctuation period of 3-4 years,while in the southern region,a fluctuation period of 7-8 years existed at the same time.YuBi YAO RunYuan WANG JinHu YANG Ping YUE DengRong LU Guo,Ju XIAO Yang WANG LinChun LIU 2013Journal of Arid Land2013,5,1:14
2Influence of environmental factors on land-surface water and heat exchange during dry and wet periods in the growing season of semiarid grassland on the Loess Plateau显示文摘On the basis of information from the project 'Land-surface Processes and their Experimental Study on the Chinese Loess Plateau', we analyzed differences in land-surface water and heat processes during the main dry and wet periods of the semiarid grassland growing season in Yuzhong County, as well as the influences of these environmental factors. Studies have shown that there are significant differences in changes of land-surface temperature and humidity during dry and wet periods. Daily average normalized temperature has an overall vertical distribution of 'forward tilting' and 'backward tilting' during dry and wet periods, respectively. During the dry period, shallow soil above 20-cm depth is the active temperature layer. The heat transfer rate in soil is obviously different during dry and wet periods. During the dry period, the ratio of sensible heat flux to net radiation(H/Rn) and the value of latent heat flux to net radiation(LE/Rn) have a linear relationship with 5-cm soil temperature; during the wet period, these have a nonlinear relationship with 5-cm soil temperature, and soil temperature of 16°C is the critical temperature for changes in the land-surface water and heat exchange trend on a daily scale. During the dry period, H/Rn and LE/Rn have a linear relationship with soil water content. During the wet period, these have a nonlinear relationship with 5-cm soil water content, and 0.21 m3 m?3 is the critical point for changes in the land-surface water and heat exchange trend at daily scale. During the dry period, for vapor pressure deficit less than 0.7 k Pa, H/Rn rises with increased vapor pressure deficit, whereas LE/Rn decreases with that increase. When that deficit is greater than 0.7 k Pa, both H/Rn and LE/Rn tend to be constant. During the wet period, H/Rn increases with the vapor pressure deficit, whereas LE/Rn decreases. 3Turbulence Intensity and Turbulent Kinetic Energy Parameters over a Heterogeneous Terrain of Loess Plateau显示文摘A deep understanding of turbulence structure is important for investigating the characteristics of the atmospheric boundary layer,especially over heterogeneous terrain.In the present study,turbulence intensity and turbulent kinetic energy(TKE)parameters are analyzed for different conditions with respect to stability,wind direction and wind speed over a valley region of the Loess Plateau of China during December 2003 and January 2004.The purpose of the study is to examine whether the observed turbulence intensity and TKE parameters satisfy Monin–Obukhov similarity theory(MOST),and analyze the wind shear effect on,and thermal buoyancy function of,the TKE,despite the terrain heterogeneity.The results demonstrate that the normalized intensity of turbulence follows MOST for all stability in the horizontal and vertical directions,as well as the normalized TKE in the horizontal direction.The shear effect of the wind speed in the Loess Plateau region is strong in winter and could enhance turbulence for all stability conditions.During daytime,the buoyancy and shear effect together constitute the generation of TKE under unstable conditions.At night,the contribution of buoyancy to TKE is relatively small,and mechanical shearing is the main production form of turbulence.YUE Ping ZHANG Qiang WANG Runyuan LI Yaohui WANG Sheng 2015Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2015,32,9:5
4Reservation Based Optimal Parking Lot Recommendation Model in Internet of Vehicle Environment显示文摘In order to solve the problem that the drivers can't find the optimal parking lot timely,a reservation based optimal parking lot recommendation model in Internet of Vehicle(IoV) environment is designed.Based on the users oriented parking information recommendation system,the model considers subjective demands of drivers comprehensively,makes a deeply analysis of the evaluation indicators.This recommendation model uses a phased selection method to calculate the optimal objective parking lot.The first stage is screening which based on the users' subjective parking demands;the second stage is processing the candidate parking lots through multiple attribute decision making.Simulation experiments show that this model can effectively solve the problems encountered in the process of finding optimal parking lot,save the driver's parking time and parking costs and also improve the overall utilization of parking facilities to ease the traffic congestion caused by vehicles parked patrol.FUJiabin CHEN Zhenxiang SUN Runyuan YANG Bo 2014China Communications2014,11,10:5
5Implications for soil environment from uranium isotopes of stalagmites显示文摘By analyzing U and Th isotopic compositions of 41 samples in two stalagmites from Hulu Cave, Nanjing, we first discovered that variations of 238U and δ234U0 along the stalagmite growth-sequence (covering a period from 75 to 18 kaBP) are in high similarity to summer insolation curve at 33°N and δ18O-based climate record of the studied stalagmites. The concentration of 238U is mainly controlled by content of organic matter in the soil above the cave. This mechanism can be used to explain our result that 238U curve of stalagmites is in phase with fluctuation of the δ18O record of the same stalagmites and summer insolation at cave locality. However, 238U concentration curve vs. age is, in amplitude, inconsistent with the climatic curves, possibly due to complex processes of soil-water-rock interaction. δ234U0 indicates pedogenic intensity of soil profile above the cave and sensitively reflects alternations of pedogenesis and aeolian accumulation processes of Xiashu loess in Nanjing. 16Efficacy of active ingredients in Qingdai(Indigo Naturalis)on ulcerative colitis:a network pharmacology-based evaluation显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To elucidate the protective effect of Qingdai(Indigo Naturalis,QD)on ulcerative colitis(UC)by means of in silico and in vivo approaches.METHODS:A systems pharmacology analysis was performed to predict the active components of QD whereas the putative biological targets of QD against UC were obtained through target fishing,network cons-truction and enrichment analyses.Meanwhile,we examined the ameliorative effect of QD in a mouse model of dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced colitis.During the 10-day experiment,the control and diseased mice were given with oral gavages of QD(1.3 g raw herbs·kg^(-1)·d^(-1))or 5-aminosalicylic acid(5-ASA,100 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1))every day.The underlying pharma-cological mechanisms of QD in UC were determined using polymerase chain reaction tests,histological staining,enzyme-linked immunoassays,and Western blotting analysis.RESULTS:Searching from various network pharmacology databases,29 compounds were identified in QD.According to the screening criteria suggested by TCMSP(i.e.OB≥30%and DL≥0.18),nine of them were considered the active ingredients that contribute to the ameliorative effects of QD on different mouse models of colitis.Most importantly,the protective effect of QD on DSS-induced colitis was significantly associated with modulations of the expression levels of glycogen synthase kinase 3-β(Gsk3-β)and forkhead box p3(Foxp3),which are widely considered as important regulators of excessive inflammatory responses.CONCLUSIONS:The results of this study provide solid scientific evidence for the use of QD or its core active components in the clinical management of UC.LI Yue WEN Shuting ZHAO Runyuan FAN Dongmei ZHAO Dike LIU Fengbin MI Hong 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,1:1

20Physiological and biochemical responses of Microcystis aeruginosa to phosphine(PH 3)under elevated CO2显示文摘Phosphine(PH3)is an important factor driving the outbreak of cyanobacterial blooms that produce toxic microcystin threating human health.To clarify the physiological and biochemical responses of cyanobacteria to PH3 under elevated CO2 concentration,Microcystis aeruginosa was used in the coupling treatment of 1000 ppmv CO2 and PH3 at different concentrations respectively.The chlorophyll a(Chl-a),carotenoid,net photosynthetic rate and total protein of M.aeruginosa exhibited evidently increasing tendency under the coupling treatment of 1000 ppmv CO2 and PH 3 at different concentrations(7.51×10^−3,2.48×10^−2,7.51×10^−2 mg/L).The coupling treatments resulted in the higher concentrations of Chl-a and carotenoid of M.aeruginosa,compared to those in the control and the treatment with CO2 alone,and their enhancement increased with the increase in PH 3 concentrations.The total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)in the coupling treatment with CO2 and PH3 of 2.48×10^−2 mg/L and 7.51×10^−3 mg/L showed increasing tendency,compared to the treatment with PH 3 alone.Additionally,the coupling treatment with 1000 ppmv CO2 and PH3 also altered the pH and DO level in the culture medium.In this regard,the coupling treatment with CO2 and PH3 at an appropriate concentration can enhance the resistance of M.aeruginosa to PH3 toxicity and is beneficial to the reproduction of M.aeruginosa,presumably resulting in potential for the outbreak of cyanobacteria bloom.Given the concern about global warming and the increase in atmospheric CO2 level,our research laid a foundation for the scientific understanding of the correlation between PH3 and cyanobacteria blooms.Xiaojun Niu Dongqing Zhang Runyuan Zhang Qi Song Yankun Li Mo Wang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,8:0
