1Changes in terrestrial surface dry and wet conditions on the Loess Plateau(China) during the last half century显示文摘This paper,using a revised Penman-Monteith model,computed the terrestrial surface humidity index of the Loess Plateau(China) based on climatic factors of monthly mean temperature,maximum temperature,minimum temperature,relative humidity,precipitation,wind speed and sunshine duration observed on the plateau from 1961 to 2008.The temporal-spatial distribution,anomaly distribution and sub-regional temporal variations of the terrestrial surface dry and wet conditions were analyzed as well.The results showed a decreasing trend in the annual average surface humidity from the southeast to the northwest in the research area.Over the period of 1961-2008,an aridification tendency appeared sharply in the central interior region of the Loess Plateau,and less sharply in the middle part of the region.The border region showed the weakest tendency of aridification.It is clear that aridification diffused in all directions from the interior region.The spatial anomaly distribution of the terrestrial surface dry and wet conditions on the Loess Plateau can be divided into three key areas:the southern,western and eastern regions.The terrestrial annual humidity index displayed a significantly descending trend and showed remarkable abrupt changes from wet to dry in the years 1967,1977 and 1979.In the above mentioned three key areas for dry and wet conditions,the terrestrial annual humidity index exhibited a fluctuation period of 3-4 years,while in the southern region,a fluctuation period of 7-8 years existed at the same time.YuBi YAO RunYuan WANG JinHu YANG Ping YUE DengRong LU Guo,Ju XIAO Yang WANG LinChun LIU 2013Journal of Arid Land2013,5,1:14
2Integrated analysis of high-throughput sequencing data shows abscisic acidresponsive genes and miRNAs in strawberry receptacle fruit ripening显示文摘The perception and signal transduction of the plant hormone abscisic acid(ABA)are crucial for strawberry fruit ripening,but the underlying mechanism of how ABA regulates ripening-related genes has not been well understood.By employing high-throughput sequencing technology,we comprehensively analyzed transcriptomic and miRNA expression profiles simultaneously in ABA-and nordihydroguaiaretic acid(NDGA,an ABA biosynthesis blocker)-treated strawberry fruits with temporal resolution.The results revealed that ABA regulated many genes in different pathways,including hormone signal transduction and the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites.Transcription factor genes belonging to WRKY and heat shock factor(HSF)families might play key roles in regulating the expression of ABA inducible genes,whereas the KNOTTED1-like homeobox protein and Squamosa Promoter-Binding-like protein 18 might be responsible for ABA-downregulated genes.Additionally,20 known and six novel differentially expressed miRNAs might be important regulators that assist ABA in regulating target genes that are involved in versatile physiological processes,such as hormone balance regulation,pigments formation and cell wall degradation.Furthermore,degradome analysis showed that one novel miRNA,Fa_novel6,could degrade its target gene HERCULES1,which likely contributed to fruit size determination during strawberry ripening.These results expanded our understanding of how ABA drives the strawberry fruit ripening process as well as the role of miRNAs in this process.Dongdong Li Wangshu Mou Rui Xia Li Li Christopher Zawora Tiejin Ying Linchun Mao Zhongchi Liu Zisheng Luo 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:6
3Novel quantum circuit implementation of Advanced Encryption Standard with low costs显示文摘In this study, we examine how the quantum circuit of the Advanced Encryption Standard(AES) can be optimized from two aspects, i.e., number of qubits and T-depth. To reduce the number of qubits, we present three kinds of improved quantum circuits of S-box for different phases in the AES. We found that the number of qubits in the round function can be decreased by introducing the circuit sending |a> to |S(a)>. As a result, compared with the previous quantum circuits where 400/640/768 qubits are required,our circuits of AES-128/-192/-256 only require 270/334/398 qubits. To reduce the T-depth, we propose a new circuit of AES's S-box with a T-depth of 4.
