1Redundant CAMTA Transcription Factors Negatively Regulate the Biosynthesis of Salicylic Acid and N-Hydroxypipecolic Acid by Modulating the Expression of SARD1 and CBP60g显示文摘Two signal molecules, salicylic acid (SA) and N-hydroxypipecolic acid (NHP), play critical roles in plant immunity. The biosynthetic genes of both compounds are positively regulated by master immune-regulating transcription factors SARD1 and CBP60g. However, the relationship between the SA and NHP pathways is unclear. CALMODULIN-BINDING TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR 1 (CAMTA1), CAMTA2, and CAMTA3 are known redundant negative regulators of plant immunity, but the underlying mechanism also remains largely unknown. In this study, through chromatin immunoprecipitation and electrophoretic mobility shift assays, we uncovered that CBP60g is a direct target of CAMTA3, which also negatively regulates the expression of SARD1, presumably via an indirect effect. The autoimmunity of camta3-1 is suppressed by sard1 cbp60g double mutant as well as ald1 and fmo1, two single mutants defective in NHP biosynthesis. Interestingly, a suppressor screen conducted in the camta1/ 2/ 3 triple mutant background yielded various mutants blocking biosynthesis or signaling of either SA or NHP, leading to nearly complete suppression of the extreme autoimmunity of camta1/ 2/ 3, suggesting that the SA and NHP pathways can mutually amplify each other. 2Comparing Land Degradation and Regeneration Trends in China Drylands显示文摘The aim of this paper is to offer a statistically sound method to make a precise account of the speed of land degradation and regeneration processes.Most common analyses of land degradation focus instead on the extent of degraded areas,rather than on the intensity of degradation processes.The study was implemented for the Potential Extent of Desertification in China(PEDC),composed by arid,semi-arid,and dry sub-humid regions and refers to the period 2002 to 2012.The metrics were standard partial regression coefficients from stepwise regressions,fitted using Net Primary Productivity as the dependent variable,and year number and aridity as predictors.The results indicate that:①the extension of degrading lands(292896 km 2 or 9.12%of PEDC)overcomes the area that is recovering(194560 km 2 or 6.06%of PEDC);and②the intensity of degrading trends is lower than that of increasing trends in three land cover types(grassland,desert,and crops)and in two aridity levels(semi-arid and dry sub-humid).Such an outcome might pinpoint restoration policies by the Chinese government,and document a possible case of hysteresis.Gabriel Del BARRIO Zhihai GAO Jaime Martinez-VALDERRAMA Xiaosong LI Maria ESANJUAN Bin SUN Alberto RUIZ Bengyu WANG Juan PUIGDEFABREGAS 2020Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2020,3,4:2
3Response and stabilization of a two-stage axial flow compressor restricted by rotating inlet distortion显示文摘This paper considers effects of Rotating Inlet Distortion(RID)on a two-stage axial compressor and the stabilization effects of a casing treatment subjected to the considered RID.In multispool engines,the downstream compressor suffers a RID when the upstream fan/compressor is in rotating stall.A controlled rotating sectional screen upstream of the compressor was adopted to generate the RID in different intensities,and co-or counter spinning direction compared with the rotor.The response of the compressor to inlet distortion was interpreted as the changes of stall margin.Results show that there are two peaks for the stall margin degradation where the distortion screen rotates near 20%and 70%of the rotor’s rotational frequency,respectively.Based on the measurements taken during the pre-stall process,it is suggested that the two frequencies are associated with the eigen frequencies of the compressor.Specifically,the first is associated with a stall precursor that is suspected as an initial disturbance existing in compressor and the second is related to a spike-type stall precursor.At last,a kind of Stall Precursor-Suppressed(SPS)casing treatment was applied to enhance the compressor stability in RID conditions.The result indicates that the stall margin is improved by 6%at an average level and there is nearly no efficiency loss caused by the application of such casing treatment.Jia LI Xu DONG Dakun SUN Ruize XU Xiaofeng SUN 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,9:2
4Application of Stall Warning Approach with Stall Precursor-Suppressed Casing Treatment on a Two-Stage Compressor显示文摘A stall warning approach based on aero-acoustic theory is studied in this paper. For this stall warning approach, a parameter Rc is defined to measure the periodicity of the blade-passing signal. Signal simulation is used to investigate the mechanism of the stall warning approach. The results suggest that the value of Rc is influenced by the power of the perturbations. The experiments on a two-stage compressor indicate this stall warning approach can generate a warning signal several seconds before the stall. It is demonstrated in this paper that the stall warning approach can detect the distribution and evolution of stall precursors. 13An Experimental Study on Oxidized Mercury Adsorption by Bromide Blended Coal Combustion Fly Ash显示文摘The application of forced mercury oxidation technology would lead to an increase of Hg^(2+)concentration in the flue gas.Although Hg^(2+)can be easily removed in the WFGD,the mercury re-emission in the WFGD can decrease the total removal of mercury from coal-fired power plants.Hence,it is necessary to control Hg^(2+)concentration in the devices before the WFGD.Fly ash adsorbent is considered as a potential alternative for commercial activated carbon adsorbent.However,the adsorption efficiency of the original fly ash is low.Modification procedure is needed to enhance the adsorption performance.In this study,the adsorption of Hg^(2+)by brominated fly ash was studied.The fly ash was collected from the full-scale power plant utilizing bromide-blended coal combustion technology.The brominated fly ash exhibited excellent performance for Hg^(2+)removal.The flue gas component HBr and SO_(2)could improve adsorbent’s performance,while HCl would hinder its adsorption process.Also,it was demonstrated by Hg-TPD experiments that the adsorbed Hg^(2+)mainly existed on the fly ash surface in the form of HgBr_(2).In summary,the brominated fly ash has a broad application prospect for mercury control.Mingyu Yu Mengyuan Liu Guangqian Luo Ruize Sun Jingyuan Hu Hailu Zhu Li Zhong Lipeng Han Xian Li Hong Yao 2021Energy Engineering2021,118,5:0
14Transplantation of human placental chorionic plate-derived mesenchymal stem cells for repair of neurological damage in neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy显示文摘Neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy is often associated with permanent cerebral palsy,neurosensory impairments,and cognitive deficits,and there is no effective treatment for complications related to hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.The therapeutic potential of human placental chorionic plate-derived mesenchymal stem cells for various diseases has been explored.However,the potential use of human placental chorionic plate-derived mesenchymal stem cells for the treatment of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy has not yet been investigated.In this study,we injected human placental chorionic plate-derived mesenchymal stem cells into the lateral ventricle of a neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy rat model and observed significant improvements in both cognitive and motor function.Protein chip analysis showed that interleukin-3 expression was significantly elevated in neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy model rats.Following transplantation of human placental chorionic plate-derived mesenchymal stem cells,interleukin-3 expression was downregulated.To further investigate the role of interleukin-3 in neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy,we established an in vitro SH-SY5Y cell model of hypoxic-ischemic injury through oxygen-glucose deprivation and silenced interleukin-3 expression using small interfering RNA.We found that the activity and proliferation of SH-SY5Y cells subjected to oxygen-glucose deprivation were further suppressed by interleukin-3 knockdown.Furthermore,interleukin-3 knockout exacerbated neuronal damage and cognitive and motor function impairment in rat models of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.The findings suggest that transplantation of hpcMSCs ameliorated behavioral impairments in a rat model of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy,and this effect was mediated by interleukin-3-dependent neurological function.Lulu Xue Ruolan Du Ning Bi Qiuxia Xiao Yifei Sun Ruize Niu Yaxin Tan Li Chen Jia Liu Tinghua Wang Liulin Xiong 2024Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,9:0

16Two-dimensional Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanosheets for sensitive and fast-response high-temperature photodetectors显示文摘Two-dimensional Bi_(2)O_(2)Se with unique crystal structure and ultrahigh carrier mobility has been catching widespread attention and demonstrated great potential in nanoelectronic and optoelectronic devices.The existence of lattice oxygen ensures its ultrahigh stability at ambient environment and make it promising for high-temperature applications.Here,through systematical characterizations,the high air stability of Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanosheets at temperatures up to 250℃is evidently demonstrated.The fabricated photodetectors based on the as-grown Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanosheets show high stability,high sensitivity(~5319 A/Wat 250℃with a bias of 1 V)and fast response(several milliseconds)from room temperature to 250℃.Besides,it was observed that the devices also show good photoresponse covering UV,visible and infrared regions at high temperatures.These results suggest their promising high-performance applications serving under harsh conditions.Xiaobin Zou Ruize Wang Yong Sun Chengxin Wang 2023Journal of Materiomics2023,9,6:0

18Ultra-thin Body Buried In_(0.35)Ga_(0.65)As Channel MOSFETs with Extremely Low Off-current on Si Substrates显示文摘In this paper, we investigated the electrical properties of the Metal-oxide-semiconductor gate stack of Ti/Al_(2)O_(3)/In P under different annealing conditions. A minimum interface trap density of 3×10^(11) cm^(-2) eV^(-1) is obtained without postmetallization annealing treatment.Additionally, utilizing Ti/Al_(2)O_(3)/In P MOS gate stack,we fabricated ultra-thin body buried In0.35 Ga0.65 As channel MOSFETs on Si substrates with optimized on/off trade-off.
