| 1 | Protective effects of kidney-tonifying Chinese herbal preparation on substantia nigra neurons in a mouse model of Parkinson's disease显示文摘The Chinese herbs Herba Epimedii, Fructus Ligustri Lucidi and Rhizoma Polygonati were injected into Parkinson's disease mice established via intraperitoneal injection of 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1, 2, 3, 6-tetrahydropyridine hydrochloride. The selective monoamine oxidase B inhibitor selegiline was used as a positive control drug. After successive administration for 4 weeks, Herba Epimedii could downregulate the expression of caspase-3 and increase the brain-derived neurotrophic factor level, as well as increase tyrosine hydroxylase activity in the substantia nigra of Parkinson's disease mouse models. Rhizoma Polygonati could downregulate the expression of caspase-3 and FasL, and increase neural growth factor and brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels. Fructus Ligustri Lucidi could downregulate caspase-3 expression. Rhizoma Polygonati and Fructus Ligustri Lucidi did not produce obvious effects on tyrosine hydroxylase activity. Herba Epimedii and Fructus Ligustri Lucidi yielded similar effects on apoptosis-promoting factors to those elicited by selegiline. Herba Epimedii and Rhizoma Polygonati significantly increased the levels of neurotrophic factors compared with selegiline. Herba Epimedii significantly increased tyrosine hydroxylase activity compared with selegiline. It is indicated that the kidney-tonifying Chinese herbal preparation can downregulate the expression of apoptosis-promoting factors, increase neurotrophic factors levels in the substantia nigra and striatum, as well as increase tyrosine hydroxylase activity in the substantia nigra of Parkinson's disease mouse models, thereby exerting a stronger or similar neuroprotective effects compared with selegiline. | Jing Cai Yun Tian Ruhui Lin Xuzheng Chen Zhizhen Liu Jindong Xie | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,6: | 5 |
| 2 | Collaborative Control of Novel Uninterrupted Propulsion System for All-Climate Electric Vehicles显示文摘Over the past decade,the electric vehicle industry of China has developed rapidly,reaching one of the highest technological levels in the world.Nevertheless,most electric buses currently serve urban areas,being unsuitable for all-climate operations.In response to the objective of massively adopting electric vehicles for transportation during all the events of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics,a dual-motor coaxial propulsion system for all-climate electric vehicles is proposed.The system aims to meet operating requirements such as high speed and adaptability to mountainous roads under severely cold environments.The system provides three operating modes,whose characteristics are analyzed under different conditions.In addition,dual-motor collaborative control strategy with collaborative gearshift and collaborative power distribution is proposed to eliminate power interruption during gearshift process and achieve intelligent power distribution,thus improving the gearshift quality and reducing energy consumption.Finally,gear position calibration for all-climate operation and proper gearshift is introduced.Experimental results demonstrate the advantages of the proposed dual-motor coaxial propulsion system regard-ing gearshift compared with the conventional single-motor automatic transmission. | Cheng Lin Xiao Yu Mingjie Zhao Jiang Yi Ruhui Zhang | 2022 | Automotive Innovation2022,5,1: | 4 |
| 3 | Electroluminescence efficiency in bilayer organic light-emitting devices with LiF/Al cathode显示文摘An analytical model to calculate electroluminescence (EL) efficiency of bilayer organic light-emitting devices, considering the influence of introducing LiF insulating buffer layer at metal/organic interface on the barrier height for electron injection, was presented. The relations of EL efficiency versus the applied voltage and injection barrier or internal interfacial barrier or the thickness of organic layer were discussed. The results indicate that: (1) when δ e/δ h < 2, metal/organic (M/O) interface is ohmic contact; when δ e/δ h > 2, M/O becomes contact limited; and when δ e/δ h = 2 (Φ h ~ 0.2 eV, Φ e ~ 0.3 eV), there is a transition from ohmic contact to contact limited; (2) η EL decreases with the increase of δ′e / δ′h; however, when δ′e / δ′h > 2.5 (H ′h~ 0.2 eV, H ′e~ 0.4 eV), the changes of η EL are very small, which shows that η EL is dominated by the carrier’s injection; (3) when increasing Lh/L, η R has a descending trend at low voltage and a rising one at higher voltage. For a given Lh/L, η EL first increases and then decreases with the increasing applied voltage, and as Lh/L further increases, the variation tendency of η EL is more obvious. | 4 | Synthesis of polyurea from 1,6-hexanediamine with CO_2 through a two-step polymerization显示文摘Activation and transformation of CO_2 is one of the important issues in the field of green and sustainable chemistry. Herein, CO_2 as a carbonoxygen resource was converted to CO_2-polyurea with 1,6-hexanediamine through a two-step polymerization. The reaction parameters such as temperature, pressure and reaction time were examined; and several kinds of catalysts were screened in the absence and presence of NMP solvent. The formed oligomer and the final polyurea were characterized by FT-IR, VT-DRIFTS, NMR, XRD, AFM and their thermal properties were examined by TGA and DSC. It was confirmed that the final polyurea has a high thermal stability; the melting temperature is 269℃ and the decomposition temperature is above 300℃. It is a brittle polymer with a tensile strength of 18.35 MPa at break length of 1.64%. The polyurea has a stronger solvent resistance due to the ordered hydrogen bond in structure. The average molecular weight should be enhanced in the postpolymerization as the appearance, hydrogen bond intensity, crystallinity, melting point and the thermal stability changed largely compared to the oligomer.
