1THREE POINT BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS FOR NONLINEAR FRACTIONAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS显示文摘In this paper, we study existence and uniqueness of solutions to nonlinear three point boundary value problems for fractional differential equation of the type c D δ 0+ u(t) = f (t, u(t), c D σ 0+ u(t)), t ∈ [0, T ], u(0) = αu(η), u(T ) = βu(η), where 1 < δ < 2, 0 < σ < 1, α, β∈ R, η∈ (0, T ), αη(1 -β) + (1-α)(T βη) = 0 and c D δ 0+ , c D σ 0+ are the Caputo fractional derivatives. We use Schauder fixed point theorem and contraction mapping principle to obtain existence and uniqueness results. 11Pistacia chinensis:Strong antioxidant and potent testicular toxicity amelioration agent显示文摘Objective:To evaluate in ritro and in riro antioxidant potency of Pistacia chinensis(P.chinensis) bark and leaves extracts along with its protective role against CCl_4 induced toxicity in testis of the rat.Methods Various in vitro models such as DPPH,ABTS,hydrogen peroxide,superoxide,hydroxyl and nitric oxide scavenging activities,anti-lipid peroxidation activity,phospho-molybdenum activity.β carotene bleaching assay was used for analysis of antioxidant potential.Experimental groups for in riro study were:Group Ⅰ(control)untreated.Group Ⅱ(Vehicle control).Group Ⅲ(1 mL/kg b.w 30%CCl_4).Group Ⅳ(1 mL/kg b.w CCk_4+Silymarin).Group Ⅴ(200 mg/kg b.w PCBE+CCl_4),Group Ⅵ(400 mg/kg b.w PCBE+CCl_4) and Group Ⅶ(400 mg/kg b.w PCBE alone).Results:In ritro antioxidant assays displayed significant results and the highest activity was not specified to a specific extract.However,ethyl acetate extract of bark(PCBF) showed highest results in most of the antioxidant assays i.e.beta-carotene bleaching,hydroxyl radical scavenging.ABTS.lipid peroxidation and superoxide radical scavenging activity.On this base,this fraction was selected for in riro antioxidant experiment.Testis tissues were analyzed to observe the protective effects of PCBE on antioxidant enzymes:cataluse,superoxide dismutase.peroxidase.glutathione-Stransferase.glutathione reductase,glutathione peroxidase and quinone reductase activities and glutathione(GSH) as well as nitrite content.Profile of plasma testosterone was also compared to various treatments.Observation suggests a protective role of P.chinensis against CCl_4induced toxicity.Conclusions:It is concluded that some bioactive antioxidants of P.chinensis bark might be a good source to isolate the potent antioxidant components.Farah Noureen Muhammad Rashid Khan Naseer Ali Shah Rahmat Ali Khan Kiran Naz Saadia Sattar 2017Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2017,10,4:1

17Kernel Search-Framework for Dynamic Controller Placement in Software-Defined Network显示文摘In software-defined networking(SDN)networks,unlike traditional networks,the control plane is located separately in a device or program.One of the most critical problems in these networks is a controller placement problem,which has a significant impact on the network’s overall performance.This paper attempts to provide a solution to this problem aiming to reduce the operational cost of the network and improve their survivability and load balancing.The researchers have proposed a suitable framework called kernel search introducing integer programming formulations to address the controller placement problem.It demonstrates through careful computational studies that the formulations can design networks with much less installation cost while accepting a general connected topology among controllers and user-defined survivability parameters.The researchers used the proposed framework on six different topologies then analyzed and compared with Iterated Local Search(ILS)and Expansion model for the controller placement problem(EMCPP)along with considering several evaluation criteria.The results show that the proposed framework outperforms the ILS and EMCPP.Thus,the proposed framework has a 38.53%and 38.02%improvement in reducing network implementation costs than EMCPP and ILS,respectively.Ali Abdi Seyedkolaei Seyed Amin Hosseini Seno Rahmat Budiarto 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,9:0
18Signaling mechanisms mediated by G-protein coupled receptors in human platelets显示文摘AIM: The present study deals with the investigation of mechanisms involved in the synergistic interaction between epinephrine and arachidonic acid (AA). METHODS: Venous blood was taken from healthy human volunteers reported to be free of medications for one week. Platelet aggregation was monitored at 37oC using Dual-channel Lumi-aggregometer. The resulting aggregation was recorded for 5 min by the measurement of light transmission as a function of time. RESULTS: The data show that a synergism in platelet aggregation mediated by subthreshold concentrations of epinephrine (1 μmol/L) and AA (0.2 μmol/L) was inhibited by the α2-receptor antagonist (yohimbine, IC50=0.6 μmol/L) and an inhibitor of AA-cyclooxygenase (COX), indomethacin (IC50=0.25 μmol/L). In examining receptor influence on intraplatelet signalling pathways, it was found that the synergistic effect was inhibited by calcium channel blockers, verapamil (IC50=0.4 μmol/L) and diltiazem (IC50=2.5 μmol/L), as well as by low concentrations of inhibitors of phospholipase C (PLC) (U73122; IC50=0.2 μmol/L) and mitogens activated protein kinase (MAPK) (PD 98059; IC50=3.8 μmol/L). Herbimycin A, a specific inhibitor of tyrosine light chain kinase (TLCK), showed inhibition at IC50 value of 15 μmol/L, whereas chelerythrine, a protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitor, had no effect up to 20 μmol/L. 19PAIgG and PAIgM levels in secondary dengue virus infections lead to thrombocytopenia in patients from KP, Pakistan显示文摘Objective: To understand the impact of platelet associated immunoglobulin G(PAIg G)/platelet associated immunoglobulin M(PAIg M) on severity of dengue virus infection leading to thrombocytopenia.Methods: In this study we examined a total of 52 patients who were having secondary infection of dengue in acute phase by using competitive ELISA.Results: A decrease in the platelet count was observed at the acute phase of infection while all along the recovery stage the count of platelet was significantly increased. A significant decrease was observed in PAIg G and PAIg M in these subjects. Inverse correlation was found between platelets count and PAIg G/PAIg M among the subjects studied. In the platelets elution from ten subjects, anti-dengue virus immunoglobulin G and immunoglobulin M were observed. PAIg G and PAIg M with inclined levels were higher in dengue hemorrhagic fever than the classical dengue fever. 20Efficacy of Silene arenosa extract on acetylcholinesterase in Bungarus sindanus(krait) venom显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To examine the efficacy of Silene arenosa extract on acetylcholinesterase (AChE) of krait (Bungarus Sindanus) snake venom.METHODS:The present project designed to evaluate the inhibition of AChE by following standard procedures.RESULTS:Statistical analysis of the results showed that Silene arenosa exerted 73%inhibition against the krait venom acetylcholinesterase at fixed substrate acetylcholine (ACh) concentration (0.5 mM).Kinetic analysis using the Lineweaver Burk plot revealed that Silene arenosa caused a competitive type of inhibition i.e.K_(m) values increased from 26.6 to 93.3 mM (26.6%to 93.3%) and V_(max)remained constant in a concentration-dependent manner.Silene arenosa competes with the substrate to bind at the active site of the enzyme.The K_(mapp)of venom AChE for Silene arenosa increased from 60%to 81.6%and the V_(maxapp)remains constant.K_(i)(inhibition constant was estimated to be 48μg for snake venom);while the K_(m)(Michaelis-Menten constant of AChE-substrate into AChE and product) was estimated to be 0.5 mM.The IC_(50)of AchE calculated for Silene arenosa was 67μg.CONCLUSION:The present results suggest that Silene arenosa extract can be considered as an inhibitor of snake venom AChE.Adil Shah Mushtaq Ahmed Naila Sher Nadia Mushtaq Rahmat Ali Khan Fozia Midrarullah 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,3:0
