| 4 | Aquathermolysis of conventional heavy oil with superheated steam显示文摘This paper presents a new aquathermolysis study of conventional heavy oil in superheated steam.A new high temperature autoclave was designed,where volume and pressure could be adjusted. Aquathermolysis was studied on two different conventional heavy oil samples under different reaction times and temperatures.Experimental results show that aquathermolysis does take place for conventional heavy oil.As reaction time increases,the oil viscosity reduces.However,the reaction will reach equilibrium after a certain period of time and won’t be sensitive to any further reaction time any more. | 5 | Improved performance of aluminum pigments encapsulated in hybrid inorganic-organic films显示文摘An organic silane acrylate resin(PMBK) was synthesized by free-radical solution polymerization using methyl methacrylate,butyl acrylate and(3-methacryloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane as monomers.Aluminum(Al) particles were then encapsulated in inorganic-organic hybrid films that were prepared by hydrolysis and condensation of PMBK and tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS) on the surface of Al pigments.Characterization results showed that PMBK and TEOS could simultaneously hydrolyze and condense with hydroxyl groups on the surface of the Al particles to form composite Al particles coated with inorganic-organic hybrid films.Compared with raw Al particles,the corrosion resistance and adhesive properties of paint films containing the composite Al particles were improved greatly,while the glossiness of the paint films decreased slightly,from 48.6° to 47.0°.In alkaline media(pH 11),the volume of evolved H_2 of composite Al particles was only 3.5 mL,whereas that of raw Al was 83.5 mL.The glossiness of paint films containing composite Al particles decreased by 1.66%after immersion in alkaline media for24 h,whereas that of raw Al decreased by 14.82%.Peel-off tests of the paint films showed that the composite particles moved slightly away from the paint films.In contrast,the raw Al particles were seriously desquamated,suggesting encapsulation of hybrid films can greatly improve the adhesive properties of Al particles in paint films. | Pihui Pi Chao Liu Xiufang Wen Lianfu Zheng Shouping Xu Jiang Cheng | 2015 | Particuology2015,13,2: | 5 |
| 6 | Partially hydroxylated ultrathin iridium nanosheets as efficient electrocatalysts for water splitting显示文摘Ultrathin two-dimensional(2D)materials have attracted considerable attention for their unique physicochemical properties and promising applications;however,preparation of freestanding ultrathin 2D noble metal remains a significant challenge.Here,for the first time,we report use of a wet-chemical method to synthesize partially hydroxylated ultrathin Ir nanosheets(ir-NSs)of only five to six atomic layers*thickness.Detailed analysis indicates that the growth confinement effect of carbon monoxide and the partially hydroxylated surface play a critical role in formation of the ultrathin structure.The ultrathin Ir-NSs exhib让excellent performance for both the hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction in a wide pH range,outperforming the state-of the-art Pt/C and IrO2,respectively.Density-functional theory calculations reveal that the partial hydroxylation not only enhances the surface electron transfer between Ir-sites and intermediate O-species,but also guarantees efficient irdtial activation ofbond cleavage of H-O-H for first-step H2O splitting.This;ultimately,breaks through barriers to full water splitting,with efficient electron transfer essentially maintained. | Zifang Cheng Bolong Huang Yecan Pi Leigang Li Qi Shao Xiaoqing Huang | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,8: | 4 |

| 8 | α-Glucosidase immobilization on functionalized Fe_3O_4 magnetic nanoparticles for screening of enzyme inhibitors显示文摘Magnetic nanoparticles(MNPs) are widely used for the immobilization of enzyme owing to the unique properties such as good biocompatibility and rapid separation. Herein, we used Fe_3O_4 magnetic nanoparticles(Fe_3O_4 MNPs) as the carrier core with(3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane(APTES)modification by our approach, in which a-glucosidase was stereoscopically immobilized on the surface of Fe_3O_4 MNPs via covalent binding. The result of immobilization was characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM) and fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR). Then we optimized some key parameters of the immobilization reaction, including the ratio of MNPs to enzyme, GA concentration,crosslinking time and immobilization time. Moreover, under the optimal conditions, pH tolerance,thermo stability and reusability of the immobilized enzyme were investigated and compared with the free one. In order to evaluate the change of the affinity of the enzyme to its specific substrate after immobilization, the Michaelis-Menten constant(K_m) was also studied. Finally, the immobilized α-glucosidase combining with high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry technique(HPLC-MS/MS) was applied to screen and identify eight inhibitors from Polygonum cuspidatum extract. | 10 | Morphologies and Superhydrophobicity of Hybrid Film Surfaces Based on Silica and Fluoropolymer显示文摘Fluoropolymer and different kinds of silica particles were used for controlling surface chemistry and morphology, respectively.A superhydrophobic surface originated from strawberry-like or quincunx-shaped composite silica particles was obtained.The dual size particles are obtained by utilizing the graft of different modified silica particles with epoxy functional group and amine functional group.This makes the surface of film form a composite interface to have irregular binary structure which plays an essential role in trapping air between the substrate surface and the liquid droplets to be necessary for high contact angle and low contact angle hysteresis.The maximum contact angle for water on the hybrid film is about 174±2°and the contact angle hysteresis is less than 2°.The surface morphologies,roughness and the wettability on the surface of films containing different structural silica particles were compared.It was shown that the hierarchical irregularly structure with a low roughness factor and high air-trapped ratio is indispensable for superhydrophobic surface. | 16 | Kinetic Studies on the Irreversible Inhibition of Restriction Endonuclease Pst I by Site-Specific Inhibitors显示文摘The irreversible modifying effects on Pst I of several inhibitors have been studied with the irreversible inhibition kinetic theory of single substrate reaction provided by Tsou,C.L. Pyridoxal phosphate (PLP), p chloromercuribenzoic acid (PCMB),diisopropyl fluorophosphate (DFP), 2,3 diacetyl (DAC) and N ethyl 5 phenylisoxazoliun 3’ sulfonate (woodward’s reagent K, WRK) modify the lysine, cysine, serteine, arginine and carboxyl groups of the protein molecule respectively. These five inhibitors have been found to inhibit both the prime activity and star activity of Pst I. Used with the irreversible inhibition theory, the apparent inhibition rate constant, A and the microcosmic inhibition rate constants, k +0 and k′ +0 of every inhibitor were calculated. We also found that their inhibition effects belong to the noncompetitive irreversible inhibition. Results show that among the groups to be modified, some have nothing to do with the combination with the substrate, and some may have, but any of them isn’t the only factor involved in the specific binding. Despite all this, they may take part in the catalysis of enzyme or have important effects on maintaining the active structure of enzyme molecules.
