1Recent high-resolution glaciochemical record from a Dasuopu firn core of middle Himalayas显示文摘A 16.8 m firn core of middle Himalayas was recovered on the col of Dasuopu glacier in August 2006,being 7000 m above sea level.A total of 317 samples were measured for stable oxygen isotope ratios(δ18O)and major ion concentrations(Na+,NH4+,K+,Mg2+,Ca2+,Cl?,SO42?,and NO3?).The firn core dating and seasonal partitioning were carried out based on the marked seasonal variations along the stable oxygen isotopes and crustal species(Ca2+,Mg2+)profiles.The multi-parameters and high-resolution glaciochemical data set of Dasuopu firn core recorded the detailed chemical characteristics of pre-cipitation in high-elevation region,middle Himalayas,since 1991 A.D.,which mainly originated from the crustal and anthropogenic sources,while the sea-salt contribution was minor.The seasonal variability of major ion concentrations was dominated by the seasonal alternation of the prevalent air mass,at-mospheric circulation situation and precipitation regime.Linear regression analysis indicated that most of the variance in annual ionic fluxes can be explained by a linear dependence on snow accumu-lation rate.WANG PengLing YAO TanDong TIAN LiDe WU GuangJian LI Zhen YANG Wei 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,3:4
2Scenario-based approach for project portfolio selection in army engineering and manufacturing development显示文摘The decisions concerning portfolio selection for army engineering and manufacturing development projects determine the benefit of those projects to the country concerned.Projects are typically selected based on ex ante estimates of future return values,which are usually difficult to specify or only generated after project launch.A scenario-based approach is presented here to address the problem of selecting a project portfolio under incomplete scenario information and interdependency constraints.In the first stage,the relevant dominance concepts of scenario analysis are studied to handle the incomplete information.Then,a scenario-based programming approach is proposed to handle the interdependencies to obtain the projects,whose return values are multi-criteria with interval data.Finally,an illustrative example of army engineering and manufacturing development shows the feasibility and advantages of the scenario-based multi-objective programming approach.Pengle Zhang Kewei Yang Yajie Dou Jiang Jiang 2016Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2016,27,1:2

5Dorsomorphin induces cancer cell apoptosis and sensitizes cancer cells to HSP90 and proteasome inhibitors by reducing nuclear heat shock factor 1 levels显示文摘Objective: Heat shock factor 1(HSF1), a transcriptional regulator of heat shock proteins(HSPs), is an attractive therapeutic target for cancer. However, only a few HSF1 inhibitors have been identified so far.Methods: The mRNA and protein levels of HSF1, HSPs, cleaved PARP, and phosphorylated HSF1 were examined by real-time PCR and Western blot. Forced expression, RNA interference, and immunofluorescence assay were used for mechanistic studies.Cell viability and apoptosis were measured by WST-8 assay and flow cytometry, respectively. Xenograft studies were performed in nude mice to evaluate the effect of dorsomorphin and an HSP90 inhibitor on tumor growth.Results: Dorsomorphin suppressed multiple stimuli-induced and constitutive HSPs expression in cancer cells. Mechanistic studies revealed that dorsomorphin reduced heat-induced HSP expression independent of adenosine monophosphate activated protein kinase. Dorsomorphin reduced heat-stimulated HSF1 Ser320 phosphorylation and nuclear translocation, as well as resting nuclear HSF1 levels in cancer cells. Dorsomorphin induced cancer cell apoptosis by inhibiting HSF1 expression. A structure-activity study revealed that the 4-pyridyl at the 3-site of the pyrazolo [1, 5-a]pyrimidine ring is critical for the anti-HSF1 activities of dorsomorphin. Dorsomorphin sensitized cancer cells to HSP90 and proteasome inhibitors and inhibited HSP70 expression induced by these inhibitors in vitro. In tumor-bearing nude mice, dorsomorphin enhanced HSP90 inhibitor-induced cancer cell apoptosis, tumor growth inhibition, and HSP70 expression.Conclusions: Dorsomorphin is an HSF1 inhibitor. 11Improving endotracheal tube tolerance with intracufflidocaine: a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the efficacy in alleviating the endotracheal tube related discomfort and the safetyof intracufflidocaine(in different forms) with air and/or normal saline(NS) during general anesthesia with tracheal intubation.Methods: Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, PubMed and Embase were searched for relevant studies. Thirteen randomized, controlled trials involving 1 010 patients were ultimately identified. A meta-analysis of all randomized controlled trials fulfilling the predefined criteria was performed. Random-effect model and subgroup studies were used when significant heterogeneity existed among those trials. Results: Compared with air and NS, intracufflidocaine could significantly alleviate the severity of sore throat at different time points(15min, 30min, 1h, 2h, 3h, 6h, 12h and 24h after extubation) and the occurrence of cough, restlessness,postoperative nausea and vomiting, dysphonia and hoarseness. Besides intracufflidocaine brought about a significant prolongation of spontaneous ventilation time. It was worth mentioning that, compared withlidocaine or its hydrochloride form, alkalinized lidocainewas much more efficient in reducing the severity of sore throat and prolonging spontaneous ventilation time.
