1Prognostic factors for transarterial chemoembolization combined with sustained oxaliplatin-based hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy of colorectal cancer liver metastasis显示文摘Objective: To investigate the prognostic factors in chemorefractory colorectal cancer liver metastasis(CRCLM)patients treated by transarterial chemoembolization(TACE) and sustained hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy(HAIC).Methods: Between 2006 and 2015, 162 patients who underwent 763 TACE and HAIC in total were enrolled in this retrospective study, including 110 males and 52 females, with a median age of 60(range, 26–83) years.Prognostic factors were assessed with Log-rank test, Cox univariate and multivariate analyses.Results: The median survival time(MST) and median progression-free survival(PFS) of the 162 patients from first TACE/HAIC were 15.6 months and 5.5 months respectively. Normal serum carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9, <37 U/m L)(P<0.001) and carbohydrate antigen 72-4(CA72-4, <6.7 U/m L)(P=0.026), combination with other local treatment(liver radiotherapy or liver radiofrequency ablation)(P=0.034) and response to TACE/HAIC(P<0.001) were significant factors related to survival after TACE/HAIC in univariate analysis. A multivariate analysis revealed that normal serum CA19-9(P<0.001), response to TACE/HAIC(P<0.001) and combination with other local treatment(P=0.001) were independent factors among them.Conclusions: Our findings indicate that serum CA19-9 <37 U/m L and response to TACE/HAIC are significant prognostic indicators for this combined treatment, and treated with other local treatment could reach a considerable survival benefit for CRCLM. Based on it, the tabular techniques are proposed for the conversion between Boolean expression and COC expansion and for the derivation of GOC expansions with fixed polarities. The Fast Tabular Technique (FTT) for the conversion from the Boolean expression to the GOC expansion with the required polarity is also proposed. 4Gait analysis of goat at different slopes and study on biomimetic walking mechanism显示文摘To study the walking status of a goat on slope and the walking mechanics,a comparative analysis of the walking gait mode of a goat on different slopes was conducted.The uphill and downhill walking processes on different slopes(6°,18°and 36°)were recorded by a high speed video system.The experimental image results were processed and analyzed via SigmaScan software and MATLAB software.The characteristic parameters of locomotion gait on the different slopes and the angle change curves of each goat leg in the process of slope movement indicated that the goat performed tetrapod gait,static gait,ipsilateral gait and trot gait on different slopes.With the increase of gradient in the uphill process,the corresponding load factors of each leg were 0.65±0.15,0.75 and 0.645±0.205,whereas those in the downhill process were 0.70±0.08,0.66±0.06,and 0.685±0.125.Results showed that the load factors of each leg are higher than 0.5.The foreleg angle ofa(the angle of wrist joints),which ranges from 100°to 130°,is suitable for different slopes.However,the angle ofb(the angle between the thigh and the forward direction in the walking process of goat),which ranges from 99°to 109°,is suitable for the 6°slope,whereas the angle ranging from 46°to 91°is suitable for the 18°slope and 36°slope.For the hind leg,the angle ofa,which ranges from 105°to 153°,is suitable for the different slopes.The angle ofb,which ranges from 128°to 150°,is suitable for the different slopes.The research can provide a theoretical basis and experimental data for the design of biomimetic agricultural slope walking mechanism.Zhang Fu Wang Wei Zhang Guoying Wang Jun Qiu Zhaomei Mao Pengjun 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,3:6
5FPGA PLACEMENT OPTIMIZATION BY TWO-STEP UNIFIED GENETIC ALGORITHM AND SIMULATED ANNEALING ALGORITHM显示文摘Genetic Algorithm (GA) is a biologically inspired technique and widely used to solve numerous combinational optimization problems. It works on a population of individuals, not just one single solution. As a result, it avoids converging to the local optimum. However, it takes too much CPU time in the late process of GA. On the other hand, in the late process Simulated Annealing (SA) converges faster than GA but it is easily trapped to local optimum. In this letter, a useful method that unifies GA and SA is introduced, which utilizes the advantage of the global search ability of GA and fast convergence of SA. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms GA in terms of CPU time without degradation of performance. It also achieves highly comparable placement cost compared to the state-of-the-art results obtained by Versatile Place and Route (VPR) Tool.Yang Meng A.E.A. 6DESIGN OF TWO-PHASE SINUSOIDAL POWER CLOCK AND CLOCKED TRANSMISSION GATE ADIABATIC LOGIC CIRCUIT显示文摘First the research is conducted on the design of the two-phase sinusoidal power clock gen- erator in this paper. Then the design of the new adiabatic logic circuit adopting the two-phase sinusoidal power clocks—Clocked Transmission Gate Adiabatic Logic (CTGAL) circuit is presented. This circuit makes use of the clocked transmission gates to sample the input signals, then the output loads are charged and discharged in a fully adiabatic manner by using bootstrapped N-Channel Metal Oxide Semiconductor (NMOS) and Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) latch structure. Finally, with the parameters of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) 0.25μm CMOS device, the transient energy consumption of CTGAL, Bootstrap Charge-Recovery Logic (BCRL) and Pass-transistor Adiabatic Logic (PAL) including their clock generators is simulated. 7Cube-Based Synthesis of ESOPs for Large Functions显示文摘This study focuses on low-complexity synthesis of Exclusive-or sum-of-products expansions(ESOPs). A scalable cube-based method, which only uses iterative executions of cube intersection and subcover minimization for cube set expressions, is presented to obtain quasi-optimal ESOPs for completely specified multi-output functions. For deriving canonical Reed-Muller(RM) forms,four conversion rules of cubes are proposed to achieve fast conversion between a canonical form and an Exclusiveor sum-of-products(ESOP) or between different canonical forms. Numerical examples are given to verify the correctness of cube-based minimization and conversion methods.The proposed methods have been implemented in C language and tested on a large set of MCNC benchmark functions(ranging from 5 to 201 inputs). Experimental results show that, compared with existing methods, ours can reduce the number of cubes by 27% and save the CPU time by 74% on average in the final solution of minimization,and consume less time as well during the conversion process. 9Growth Mechanism,Modified Morphology and Optical Properties of Coral-like BaTiO_3 Architecture through CTAB Assisted Synthesis显示文摘Three-dimensional hierarchical structure coral-like BaTiO3 nanoparticles have been self-assembled by a facile one step hydrothermal method. Cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB),Ba(OH)2·8H2O and tetrabutyl titanate have been used as precursors. The prepared Ba TiO3 exhibits cubic perovskite phase at room temperature,and the coral-like architecture is a micro-nano hiberarchy consisted of dendrimer-like structure and trunk-like structure. By adjusting the hydrothermal duration and the precursor substances,a surfactant induced mechanism is proposed to understand the self-assembly process. UV-vis measurement demonstrates that the as-prepared Ba TiO3 nanoparticles exhibit dozens of times overwhelming absorptive character compared to the ordinary nanospheres at ultraviolet band,which is benefited from the coral-like porous framework. Moreover,halogen anions( F,Cl,Br,and I) have been chosen to adjust the coral-like Ba TiO3 physical properties. Results show the halogen doping produces distinct modulation effect on the grain size,UV-vis absorbance and photoluminescence properties of the materials. 11Effect of ALA-PDT on the expressions of MMP-9, MMP-13 and TIMP-1 of hypertrophic scar model in rabbit ears显示文摘Objective: To investigate the effect of 5-aminolevulinic(ALA)-photodynamic therapy(PDT) on the expressions of MMP-9, MMP-13 and TIMP-1 of hypertrophic scar model in rabbit ears, and analyze the possible therapeutic mechanisms of ALA-PDT treatment to hypertrophic scars of rabbit ears. Methods: The experimental animals were randomly divided into normal control, negative control, high concentration of ALA-PDT, low concentration of ALA-PDT and PDT groups. The latter three groups received ALA-PDT treatment or PDT treatment once a week for 3 weeks. The specimens of the rabbits were collected respectively 1, 2 and 3 months after treatment to be used for RT-PCR and Western-blot test. Results: 1, 2 and 3 months after PDT treatment, the expressions of MMP-9 and MMP-13(including mRNA and protein) in hypertrophic scar tissues of three treatment groups were significantly higher than those of the negative control group(P<0.01), and the expression of TIMP-1 mRNA and protein of three treatment groups were significantly lower than that of the negative control group(P<0.01). There were also significant differences between high-concentration ALA-PDT treatment group and the low one(P<0.05). Conclusion: ALA-PDT is effective in treating hypertrophic scars of rabbit ears, and its possible therapeutic mechanisms are that ALA-PDT treatment generates oxidation activation effect to activate the activity of MMPs and induces the photoaging of fibroblasts of hypertrophic scar tissues of rabbit ears to inhibit the activity of TIMPs, which causes the up-regulation of MMPs and the down-regulation of TIMPs. 12Highly Reliable Multiport PUF Circuit Based on MOSFET Zero Temperature Coefficient Point显示文摘By using processing variations in the unitcircuits of the same structures and design parameters during manufacturing, Physical unclonable function(PUF)generates security keys with characteristic of uniqueness,randomness and unclonability. In this paper, a highly reliable multiport PUF scheme was proposed based on MOSFET Zero temperature coefficient(ZTC) point. It consists of input register, deviation-current generating module, arbiter array and obfuscation circuit. After reconfiguring deviation-current generating module by applying different input challenges, the PUF circuit updates keys without physical replacement. And multi-bit keys can be generated in one clock cycle. In TSMC-LP 65 nm CMOS technology, the layout of 64-port reconfigurable PUF occupies 131μm×242μm with custom designing. Experimental results show that the PUF circuit has good statistical characteristic of uniqueness and randomness. 13Vacancy manipulating of molybdenum carbide MXenes to enhance Faraday reaction for high performance lithium-ion batteries显示文摘“Intrinsic”strategies for manipulating the local electronic structure and coordination environment of defect-regulated materials can optimize electrochemical storage performance.Nevertheless,the structure–activity relationship between defects and charge storage is ambiguous,which may be revealed by constructing highly ordered vacancy structures.Herein,we demonstrate molybdenum carbide MXene nanosheets with customized in-plane chemical ordered vacancies(Mo_(1.33)CT_(x)),by utilizing selective etching strategies.Synchrotron-based X-ray characterizations reveal that Mo atoms in Mo1.33CTx show increased average valence of+4.44 compared with the control Mo_(2)CT_(x).Benefited from the introduced atomic active sites and high valence of Mo,Mo_(1.33)CT_(x)achieves an outstanding capacity of 603 mAh·g^(−1)at 0.2 A·g^(−1),superior to most original MXenes.Li+storage kinetics analysis and density functional theory(DFT)simulations show that this optimized performance ensues from the more charge compensation during charge–discharge process,which enhances Faraday reaction compared with pure Mo_(2)CT_(x).This vacancy manipulation provides an efficient way to realize MXene’s potential as promising electrodes.Xin Guo Changda Wang Wenjie Wang Quan Zhou Wenjie Xu Pengjun Zhang Shiqiang Wei Yuyang Cao Kefu Zhu Zhanfeng Liu Xiya Yang Yixiu Wang Xiaojun Wu Li Song Shuangming Chen Xiaosong Liu 2022Nano Research Energy2022,1,3:2

15Biomass-derived hard carbon microtubes with tunable apertures for high-performance sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)are considered the most up-and-coming complements for large-scale energy storage devices due to the abundance and cheap sodium.However,due to the bigger radius,it is still a great challenge to develop anode materials with suitable space for the intercalation of sodium ions.Herein,we present hard carbon microtubes(HCTs)with tunable apertures derived from low-cost natural kapok fibers via a carbonization process for SIBs.The resulted HCTs feature with smaller surface area and shorter Na+diffusion path benefitting from their unique micro-nano structure.Most importantly,the wall thickness of HCTs could be regulated and controlled by the carbonization temperature.At a high temperature of 1,600℃,the carbonized HCTs possess the smallest wall thickness,which reduces the diffusion barrier of Na+and enhances the reversibility Na+storage.As a result,the 1600HCTs deliver a high initial Coulombic efficiency of 90%,good cycling stability(89.4%of capacity retention over 100 cycles at 100 mA·g^(−1)),and excellent rate capacity.This work not only charts a new path for preparing hard carbon materials with adequate ion channels and novel tubular micro-nano structures but also unravels the mechanism of hard carbon materials for sodium storage.Pin Song Shiqiang Wei Jun Di Jun Du Wenjie Xu Daobin Liu Changda Wang Sicong Qiao Yuyang Cao Qilong Cui Pengjun Zhang Liaobo Ma Jiewu Cui Yan Wang Yujie Xiong 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:1
16In-Situ Synthesis of CQDs/BiOBr Material via Mechanical Ball Milling with Enhanced Photocatalytic Performances显示文摘Designing simple, efficient, and environmentally friendly methods to construct high-efficient photocatalysts is an important strategy to promote the further development of the field of photocatalysis. Herein, flower-like carbon quantum dots(CQDs)/Bi OBr composite photocatalysts have been prepared via in-situ synthesis by mechanical ball milling in the existence of ionic liquid. The CQDs/Bi OBr composites exhibit higher photo-degradation performance for tetracycline(TC) than Bi OBr monomer and the commercial Bi_(2)O_(3) under visible light irradiation. For comparison, the different Br sources and synthetic methods are chosen to prepare Bi OBr and CQDs/Bi OBr composites. Photocatalysts prepared by ball milling and ionic liquid present significantly enhanced photocatalytic performance for removing TC. In addition, the introduction of CQDs could distinctly enhance the photocatalytic performances of pure Bi OBr. The reason is that CQDs as electron acceptor effectively separate electrons and holes and inhibit their recombination. The intermediates during photocatalytic degradation were tested using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS) and possible degradation pathways were given. During degradation, ·OH, O_(2)^(·-)and h^(+) were identified to be the main active species based on electron spin resonance(ESR) spectra and free radical trapping experiments. 19Synchronous activation of Ag nanoparticles and BiOBr for boosting solar-driven CO_(2)reduction显示文摘Artificial photosynthesis of valuable chemicals from CO_(2)is a potential way to achieve sustainable carbon cycle.The CO_(2)conversion activity is still inhibited by the sluggish charge kinetics and poor CO_(2)activation.Herein,Ag nanoparticles coupled Bi OBr have been constructed by in-situ photoreduction strategy.The crafting of interface between Ag nanoparticles and Bi OBr nanosheets,achieving an ultra-fast charge transfer.The Bi OBr semiconductor excited electrons and plasmonic Ag nanoparticles generated high-energy hot electrons synchronous accelerates the C=O double bond activation.Thus,the optimized Ag/BiOBr-2 heterostructure shows excellent CO_(2)photoreduction activity with CO production of 133.75 and 6.83μmol/g under 5 h of 300 W Xe lamp and visible light(λ>400 nm)irradiation,which is 1.51 and 2.81 folds versus the pristine Bi OBr,respectively.The mechanism of CO_(2)photoreduction was in-depth understood through in-situ FT-IR spectrum and density functional theory calculations.This study provides some new perspectives into efficient photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction.Gaopeng Liu Lin Wang Bin Wang Xingwang Zhu Jinman Yang Pengjun Liu Wenshuai Zhu Ziran Chen Jiexiang Xia 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,6:1
