| 2 | The Role of Diesel Soot in the Tribological Behavior of 150SN Base Oil显示文摘The diesel soot was collected from diesel engine exhaust pipe. The morphology and structure of the collected diesel soot was characterized by HRTEM, XRD and XPS and its tribological behavior was investigated by a SRV IV oscillating reciprocating friction and wear tester. Test results showed that the tribological behavior of diesel soot was largely influenced by the test load. Under a low load, the diesel soot could reduce the wear volume of the disc. While under a high load, the diesel soot could reduce the friction coefficient of base oil. Based on the characterization of the worn scars by the SEM technique, the 3D surface profiler and the Raman spectroscopy, it was assumed that the core-shell structure of diesel soot with several graphitic layers played important roles. On one hand, its spherical and special structure could make it roll between friction pairs to reduce wear under a low load. | 3 | Molecular dynamics simulation of chip formation mechanism in single-crystal nickel nanomachining显示文摘Nanometric machining simulations of single-crystal nickel were performed using molecular dynamics.The atomic displacement vector method was applied to study the relationship between defect displacement vectors and the crystal slip system during different deformation stages as well as the displacement trend characteristics of workpiece atoms under different deformations.The arrangement characteristics of atoms in the machining region,relative density of atoms at different machining zones,and proportion of different atoms were investigated in detail.In addition,the atom shunt phenomenon was observed by studying the displacement trend of the atoms adjacent to the machining tool,and a method for determining the location of the shunt point was determined.Moreover,direct evidence of crystal transition caused by temperature was obtained.The effects of machining depth on workpiece damage,surface flatness,and workpiece temperature were investigated.With increasing machining depth,the chip gradually changed from spherical to strip-shaped,the damage depth of workpiece gradually increased,but the atomic arrangement of the machined surface became neater.Simultaneously,the dislocation reaction of subsurface defects was studied,and the rationality of the reaction was analyzed using an energy criterion.Furthermore,the overall temperature of the workpiece increased,but the temperature of the chip part gradually decreased. | ZHU ZongXiao PENG Bin FENG RuiCheng WANG LinJun JIAO Shi DONG Yun | 2019 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2019,62,11: | 2 |

| 6 | Water molecules bonded to the carboxylate groups at the inorganic-organic interface of an inorganic nanocrystal coated with alkanoate ligands显示文摘High-quality colloidal nanocrystals are commonly synthesized in hydrocarbon solvents with alkanoates as the most common organic ligand.Water molecules with an approximately equal number of surface alkanoate ligands are identified at the inorganic-organic interface for all types of colloidal nanocrystals studied,and investigated quantitatively using CdSe nanocrystals as the model system.Carboxylate ligands are coordinated to the surface metal ions and the first monolayer of water molecules is found to bond to the carboxylate groups of alkanoate ligands through hydrogen bonds.Additional monolayer(s)of water molecules can further be adsorbed through hydrogen bonds to the first monolayer of water molecules.The nearly ideal environment for hydrogen bonding at the inorganic-organic interface of alkanoate-coated nanocrystals helps to rapidly and stably enrich the interface-bonded water molecules,most of which are difficult to remove through vacuum treatment,thermal annealing and chemical drying.The water-enriched structure of the inorganic-organic interface of high-quality colloidal nanocrystals must be taken into account in order to understand the synthesis,processing and properties of these novel materials. | Jiongzhao Li Weicheng Cao Yufei Shu Haibing Zhang Xudong Qian Xueqian Kong Linjun Wang Xiaogang Peng | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,2: | 0 |
