| 1 | Recent advances in designing conductive hydrogels for flexible electronics显示文摘Flexible electronics have emerged as an exciting research area in recent years,serving as ideal interfaces bridging biological systems and conventional electronic devices.Flexible electronics can not only collect physiological signals for human health monitoring but also enrich our daily life with multifunctional smart materials and devices.Conductive hydrogels(CHs)have become promising candidates for the fabrication of flexible electronics owing to their biocompatibility,adjustable mechanical flexibility,good conductivity,and multiple stimuli-responsive properties.To achieve on-demand mechanical properties such as stretchability,compressibility,and elasticity,the rational design of polymer networks via modulating chemical and physical intermolecular interactions is required.Moreover,the type of conductive components(eg,electron-conductive materials,ions)and the incorporation method also play an important role in the conductivity of CHs.Electron-CHs usually possess excellent conductivity,while ion-CHs are generally transparent and can generate ion gradients within the hydrogel matrices.This mini review focuses on the recent advances in the design of CHs,introducing various design strategies for electron-CHs and ion-CHs employed in flexible electronics and highlighting their versatile applications such as biosensors,batteries,supercapacitors,nanogenerators,actuators,touch panels,and displays. | Qiongyao Peng Jingsi Chen Tao Wang Xuwen Peng Jifang Liu Xiaogang Wang Jianmei Wang Hongbo Zeng | 2020 | InfoMat2020,2,5: | 8 |
| 2 | Effect of Sintering on Thermal Conductivity and Thermal Barrier Effects of Thermal Barrier Coatings显示文摘Thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) are mostly applied to hot components of advanced turbine engines to insulate the components from hot gas. The effect of sintering on thermal conductivity and thermal barrier effects of conventional plasma sprayed and nanostructured yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) are investigated. Remarkable increase in thermal conductivity occurs to both typical coatings after heat treatment. The change of porosity is just the opposite. The grain size of the nanostructured zirconia coating increases more drastically with annealing time compared to that of the conventional plasma sprayed coating, which indicates that coating sintering makes more contributions to the thermal conductivity of the nanostructured coating than that of the conventional coating. Thermal barrier effect tests using temperature difference technique are performed on both coatings. The thermal barrier effects decrease with the increase of thermal conductivity after heat treatment and the decline seems more drastic in low thermal conductivity range. | 4 | Effect of Dahuang Zhechong pills on long non-coding RNA growth arrest specific 5 in rat models of hepatic fibrosis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the involvement of growth arrest specific 5(GAS5), a long non-coding RNA, in the anti-hepatic fibrosis process induced by Dahuang Zhechong pill(DHZCP) in rats.METHODS: Thirty adult rats were divided into three groups, including a control group, a CCl4-induced fibrosis group and a DHZCP-treated fibrosis group. Hematoxylin-eosin and Masson staining were used for histopathological study. Serum enzymes, cytokines and cell proliferation were assayed using commercially available kits. A GAS5 lenti-virus vector was constructed to further investigate the role of GAS5 in the anti-hepatic fibrosis effect of DHZCP in rats.RESULTS: Our results revealed that the proliferation of hepatic stellate cells cultured in serum derived from rats treated with DHZCP was significantly decreased, compared with cells treated with serum from the untreated rats. DHZCP alleviated the CCl4-induced hepatic fibrosis. Additionally, DHZCP can restore the expression of GAS5,which was significantly decreased in the CCl4-induced group, and markedly suppress the expression of p-p38 and p-Erk induced by CCl4, but not p-Jnk. Cell proliferation was significantly arrested when cells overexpressed GAS5. | 6 | Geochemical characteristics and genetic types of crude oils from the Tertiary system in the southern part of western Qaidam Basin,Northwest China显示文摘Crude oil samples taken from the southern part of western Qaidam Basin were analyzed with GC/MS in order to understand the geochemical characteristics of crude oils.The results reveal that most crude oils are characterized by high abundance of gammacerane and C35 homohopane,which are the representative characteristics of saline lacustrine crude oils.Based on the variation of the ratios of gammacerane/C30 hopane(G/H) and C35 homoho-pane/C34 homohopane(C35/C34H),two crude oil groups,A and B,are identified.Group-A crude oils mainly occurr in the north of the study area,with higher ratios of G/H(>0.8) and C35/C34H(>1.2),whereas group-B crude oils,selected from the south of the study area,show lower ratios of G/H(<0.8) and C35/C34H(<1.0).In addition,group-A crude oils are distinguished into three subgroups in accordance with their different ratios of G/H and C35/C34H and different distribution characteristics of n-alkanes,isoprenoids and steranes.These may be helpful for understanding the distribution characteristics of crude oils in the southern part of western Qaidam Basin and providing clues to the forthcoming exploration of crude oils and gas. | LI Hongbo ZHANG Min ZHANG Chunming PENG Dehua | 2008 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2008,27,3: | 5 |
| 7 | Toward reverse engineering on secret S-boxes in block ciphers显示文摘It has been widely accepted that the security cryptosystems should be only dependent on the security of their secret keys.However,there are still secret ciphers with unknown components in their commercial applications due to various reasons.The existing reverse engineering analyzes are developed for analyzing specific ciphers,and cannot cope with secret algorithms with diferent structures.By looking into the common characteristics of the secret algorithms of ciphers implemented with unknown S-boxes,we proposed a novel reverse engineering analysis approach referred to as Signed Reverse Engineering based on Diferential Power Analysis(SREDPA).It is a generic reverse engineering analysis and can recover the parameters of the secret S-boxes of the block ciphers in typical structures such as SPN,Feistel,and XFeistel(eXtended Feistel).By identifying the bias of the diferential power analysis(DPA)traces,we build the theoretical model of SREDPA and prove its efectiveness.Experiments are performed on secret algorithms in diferent structures and further validate our SREDPA experimentally.The complexity of SREDPA only relies on the size of S-boxes and the reverse engineering analysis is efcient.As shown in the theoretical analysis and the conducted experiments,our SREDPA approach is readily to be extended for analyzing other secret ciphers with unknown S-boxes.This renders a new challenge on the design and implementation of secret ciphers. | TANG Ming QIU ZhenLong PENG HongBo HU XiaoBo YI Mu ZHANG HuanGuo | 2014 | Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,3: | 4 |
| 8 | A zinc finger protein, interacted with cyclophilin,affects root development via IAA pathway in rice显示文摘The plant hormone auxin plays a crucial role in lateral root development. To better understand the molecular mechanisms underlying lateral root formation,an auxin-responsive gene OsCYP2(Os02g0121300) was characterized from rice. Compared to the wild type,OsCYP2-RNAi(RNA interference) lines exhibited distinctive defects in lateral root development. Yeast two-hybrid and glutathione S-transferase pull-down results confirmed that OsCYP2 interacted with a C2HC-type zinc finger protein(OsZFP, Os01g0252900) which is located in the rice nucleus. T_2 OsZFP-RNAi lines had significantly fewer lateral roots than did wild-type plants, which suggests a role for OsCYP2 and OsZFP in regulating lateral root development.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction showed that the expression of certain Aux/IAA(auxin/indole-3-acetic acid) genes was altered in OsCYP2-and Os ZFP-RNAi lines in response to IAA. These findings imply that OsCYP2 and OsZFP participate in IAA signal pathways controlling lateral root development. | 10 | Application of regional citrate anticoagulation in patients at high risk of bleeding during intermittent hemodialysis:a prospective multicenter randomized controlled trial显示文摘Objective:Safe and effective anticoagulation is essential for hemodialysis patients who are at high risk of bleeding.The purpose of this trial is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of two-stage regional citrate anticoagulation(RCA)combined with sequential anticoagulation and standard calcium-containing dialysate in intermittent hemodialysis(IHD)treatment.Methods:Patients at high risk of bleeding who underwent IHD from September 2019 to May 2021 were prospectively enrolled in 13 blood purification centers of nephrology departments,and were randomly divided into RCA group and saline flushing group.In the RCA group,0.04 g/mL sodium citrate was infused from the start of the dialysis line during blood draining and at the venous expansion chamber.The sodium citrate was stopped after 3 h of dialysis,which was changed to sequential dialysis without anticoagulant.The hazard ratios for coagulation were according to baseline.Results:A total of 159 patients and 208 sessions were enrolled,including RCA group(80 patients,110 sessions)and saline flushing group(79 patients,98 sessions).The incidence of severe coagulation events of extracorporeal circulation in the RCA group was significantly lower than that in the saline flushing group(3.64%vs.20.41%,P<0.001).The survival time of the filter pipeline in the RCA group was significantly longer than that in the saline flushing group((238.34±9.33)min vs.(221.73±34.10)min,P<0.001).The urea clearance index(Kt/V)in the RCA group was similar to that in the saline flushing group with no statistically significant difference(1.12±0.34 vs.1.08±0.34,P=0.41).Conclusions:Compared with saline flushing,the two-stage RCA combined with a sequential anticoagulation strategy significantly reduced extracorporeal circulation clotting events and prolonged the dialysis time without serious adverse events. | Xiaoyan TANG Dezheng CHEN Ling ZHANG Ping FU Yanxia CHEN Zhou XIAO Xiangcheng XIAO Weisheng PENG Li CHENG Yanmin ZHANG Hongbo LI Kehui LI Bizhen GOU Xin WU Qian YU Lijun JIAN Zaizhi ZHU Yu WEN Cheng LIU Hen XUE Hongyu ZHANG Xin HE Bin YAN Liping ZHONG Bin HUANG Mingying MAO | 2022 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,11: | 4 |

| 13 | The metabolic role of LncZBTB39-1:2 in the trophoblast mobility of preeclampsia显示文摘Preeclampsia is characterized by new onset of hypertension and proteinuria after 20 weeks’gestation and is a leading cause of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality.The pathogenesis of preeclampsia is often associated with aberrant trophoblast function that leads to shallow placental implantation.However,the exact underlying mechanisms remain unclear.Placental LncZBTB39-1:2 expression level was investigated in 20 healthy placentae and 20 placentae with preeclampsia using qRT-PCR,and the metabolic profile of trophoblasts overexpressing LncZBTB39-1:2 in vitro was analysed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GCeMS).In this study,we found that the expression of LncZBTB39-1:2 was significantly higher in preeclamptic placentae than in healthy placentae.Our metabolomics results have shown that tricarboxylic acid cycle intermediates and metabolites related to carbohydrate metabolism were decreased with the overexpression of LncZBTB39-1:2 in HTR8/SVneo cells.These findings were validated by detecting a lower level of intracellular ATP in HTR8/Vneo cells.Furthermore,the migration of HTR8/SVneo cells was compromised when cells were transfected with a plasmid encompassing LncZBTB39-1:2 overexpression.From these results,we conclude that abnormal levels of LncZBTB39-1:2 expression might lead to aberrant conditions in HTR-8/SVneo trophoblast cells.Aberrant conditions might be associated with dysregulated trophoblast migration and subsequent failure of uterine spiral artery remodelling,a pathogenesis recognised as a contributing factor in the aetiology of preeclampsia. | Yamin Liu Ting-Li Han Xiaofang Luo Yuxiang Bai Xuehai Chen Wei Peng Xi Xiong Philip N.Baker Chao Tong Hongbo Qi | 2018 | Genes & Diseases2018,5,3: | 3 |
| 14 | Cyclic Oxidation Behavior of an EB-PVD CoCrAlY Coating Influenced by Substrate/coating Interdiffusion显示文摘To reveal the influence of substrate/coating interdiffusion on the cyclic oxidation property of a metallic coating, cyclic oxidation behavior of an EB-PVD CoCrAlY coating on directionally solidified Ni-based superalloy DZ125 at 1 050 oC is investigated. The 40 μm thick CoCrAlY coating has a cyclic oxidation life of around 160 h, and the oxidation constant is 1.915× 10.7 mg4·cm.8·s.1. However, severe spallation of the oxides containing Co, Cr, Ni, Ta and Ti occurs with longer cyclic oxidation. The degradation in oxidation resistance for the coating is related to the depletion of Al due to the oxide spallation and interdiffusion. Severe interdiffusion between the coating and underlying substrate occurs at 1 050 oC. The composition of the substrate has an important effect on the thermal cycling lifetime of the coating. | 16 | Ecosystem service valuation of bays in East China Sea and its response to sea reclamation activities显示文摘Ecosystem service values(ESVs)of bays and their response to sea reclamation are of great practical importance for forming bay eco-compensation policy and extension of blue economic space.Based on land use information of bays collected during the period of 1990–2015,the spatiotemporal evolution of ESVs of 12 main bays in East China Sea and their response to sea reclamation activities over the past 25 years were quantitatively analyzed.The analysis results indicate that ESVs of bays in East China Sea showed a continuous downward trend and the whole ecosystem was continuously degraded,in which the degradation degree of ESV in the southern bays was higher than that in the northern bays.Spatial zoning of ESVs of bays in East China Sea was remarkable,showing a continuous downward trend from low-value to high-value zone.Spatial variation of ESVs of each bay was also significant,expanding from a city and from inland to the coast,which suggests that human activities,mainly reclamation,have become main agents for ESV evolution of bays in East China Sea.ESVs of bays have a significant response to sea reclamation,manifested as a significant negative correlation between ESV and reclamation intensity.The correlation in the southern bays was stronger than that in the northern bays,which was caused by different effects of sea reclamation modes on ESV evolution of muddy and bedrock bays.A negative effect of sea reclamation activities on bay ecosystem was hysteretic.Therefore,an attention should be paid to dynamic monitoring and early warning of development status in offshore areas,ecosystem-level reclamation control policy,and coastal wetland reserves planning.Moreover,the spatial coupling mechanism study between bay ecosystem service demand and its service supply capacity should be strengthened to realize systematic regulation of bay ecological security pattern. | LIU Ruiqing XU Hao LI Jialin PU Ruiliang SUN Chao CAO Luodan JIANG Yimei TIAN Peng WANG Lijia GONG Hongbo | 2020 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2020,30,7: | 2 |
| 17 | Ferroptosis promotes T-cell activation-induced neurodegeneration in multiple sclerosis显示文摘While many drugs are effective at reducing the relapse frequency of multiple sclerosis (MS), there is an unmet need for treatments that slow neurodegeneration resulting from secondary disease progression. The mechanism of neurodegeneration in MS has not yet been established. Here, we discovered a potential pathogenetic role of ferroptosis, an iron-dependent regulated cell death mechanism, in MS. We found that critical ferroptosis proteins (acyl-CoA synthetase long-chain family member 4, ACSL4) were altered in an existing genomic database of MS patients, and biochemical features of ferroptosis, including lipid reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation and mitochondrial shrinkage, were observed in the experimental autoimmune encephalitis (EAE) mouse model. Targeting ferroptosis with ferroptosis inhibitors or reducing ACSL4 expression improved the behavioral phenotypes of EAE mice, reduced neuroinflammation, and prevented neuronal death. We found that ferroptosis was an early event in EAE, which may promote T-cell activation through T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling in vitro and in vivo. | 18 | Mechanical properties,thermophysical properties and electronic structure of Yb^(3+)or Ce^(4+)-doped La_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)-based TBCs显示文摘First-principles calculations based on density functional theory were perfo rmed to investigate the cohesive energies,elastic modulus,Debye temperatures,thermal conductivities and density of states of La_(2-x)Yb_(x)Zr_(2)O_(7),La_(2)Zr_(2-x)Ce_(x)O_(7)and La_(2-x)Yb_(x)Zr_(2-x)Ce_(x)O_(7)(x=0.00,0.25,0.50,0.75,1.00)ceramics.The results show that doping Yb~(3+)or Ce~(4+)into La_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)reduces its elastic modulus,thermal conductivity and Debye temperature.Compared with La_(2-x)Yb_(x)Zr_(2)O_(7)(x≠0.00),La_(2)Zr_(2-x)Ce_(x)O_(7)compounds have better ductility and lower Debye te mperature.The Debye temperature values of La_(2)Zr_(2-x)Ce_(x)O_(7)(x≠0.00)co mpounds are in the range of 485.0-511.5 K.Among all components,the fluorite-type La_(2-x)Yb_(x)Zr_(2-x)Ce_(x)O_(7)(x=0.75,1.00)compounds exhibit better mechanical and thermophysical properties,and their thermal conductivity values are only 1.213-1.246 W/(m·K)(1073 K),which are 14.5%-16.7%lower than that of the pure La_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7).Thus,our findings open an entirely new avenue for TBCs. | Pengsen Zhao Haizhong Zheng Guifa Li Yongxiang Geng Yixin Xiao Hongbo Guo Ping Peng | 2023 | Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,4: | 2 |
| 19 | Triangulation of red sprites observed above a mesoscale convective system in North China显示文摘The triangulation of red sprites was obtained, based on concurrent observations over a mesoscale convective system(MCS) in North China from two stations separated by about 450 km. In addition, broadband sferics from the sprite-producing lightning were measured at five ground stations, making it possible to locate and identify the individual causative lightning discharges for different elements in this dancing sprite event. The results of our analyses indicate that the sprites were produced above the trailing stratiform region of the MCS, and their parent strokes were located mainly in the peripheral area of the stratiform. The lateral offset between sprites and causative strokes ranges from a few km to more than 50 km.
