| 2 | Friction stir welding of pure magnesium and polypropylene in a lap-joint configuration: Microstructure and mechanical properties显示文摘A hybrid joint with a satisfactory mixture of pure magnesium and polypropylene(PP)was achieved via friction stir joining(FSW)in a lap-joint configuration.The tool rotational and travel speeds used in this work were 500–700 r/min and 50–100 mm/min,respectively.The mechanical properties and microstructural analysis of the resultant hybrid Mg/PP joint were examined.The results show that the maximum tensile shear strength(22.5 MPa)of the joint was attained at 700 r/min and 75 mm/min due to the optimum percentage fraction of mechanical interlocking(48%)and the presence of magnesium oxide.The interfacial joint center exhibits the maximum microhardness values because of the presence of refined and intertwined Mg fragments and density dislocations in the matrix of the PP.The joint failed via two different modes:interfacial line and weld zone fractures,respectively. | Amirhossein Moghanian Moslem Paidar Seyyed Salman Seyedafghahi Olatunji Oladimeji Ojo | 2019 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2019，26，6： | 2 |
| 3 | 辣木籽精油的细胞毒性及其提取方法对化学成分的影响(英文)显示文摘目的:研究水蒸汽蒸馏法(HDE)和无溶剂微波萃取法(SME)对辣木籽精油化学组成的影响,并评估精油的细胞毒性。创新点:比较了不同的提取精油方法对精油的化学成分及其细胞毒性的影响。方法:分别采用HDE和SME两种方法提取辣木籽精油,然后使用气相色谱-质谱法分析其化学成分。通过比较在不同浓度和孵化时间下盐水虾卵的孵化率和幼虾的死亡率来检测精油的细胞毒性。结论:HDE和SME两种方法提取的辣木籽精油分别含有16和26种化学成分,各自占总可识别成分的97.515%和97.816%。因此,SME提取法含有更多的成分。盐水虾卵分别在含有两种精油、海水和氯霉素的样品中孵化24 h后,孵化率分别为60.0%(HDE)、56.7%(SME)、63.3%(海水)和15.0%(氯霉素),精油中的孵化率远高于含有氯霉素的样品的孵化率(P<0.05)。同时,SME和HDE精油对幼虾的半致死量分别为2908.23和3473.63μg/ml(大于1000μg/ml被认为无毒)。因此,两种方法提取的精油可广泛适用于药物、食品防腐剂、抗氧化剂和香料等添加剂。 | Rowland Monday Ojo KAYODE Anthony Jide AFOLAYAN | 2015 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2015，16，8： | 2 |
| 4 | Relationship between glycemic control and perceived family support among people with type 2 diabetes mellitus seen in a rich kinship network in Southwest Nigeria显示文摘Objective:The practice of diabetes self-care behaviors has been cited as a foundation for achieving optimal glycemic control.Proper motivation of people with diabetes mellitus is,howev-er,needed for the performance of these behaviors.It is therefore pertinent to know if motivation by the family will improve glycemic control in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus.This study aimed to investigate the relationship between glycemic control and perceived family support among Ni-gerians with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods:A cross-sectional study was conduced on 316 adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus who attended a medical outpatient clinic.Data were collected through a pretested interviewer-administered questionnaire and a standardized tool(Perceived Social Support-Family scale).Hemoglobin A1c level was used as an indicator of glycemic control.Results:The proportion of participants with good glycemic control was 40.6%.Most of the participants(137,43.8%)had strong perceived family support.Strong perceived family support(P=0.00001,odds ratio 112.51)was an independent predictor of good glycemic control.Conclusion:This study shows that strong perception of family support is a predictor of gly-cemic control among the adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus studied.Physicians working in sub-Saharan African countries with rich kinship networks should harness the available family support of people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in their management. | Nnenna A.Osuji Oluwaseun Solomon Ojo Sunday O.Malomo Peter T.Sogunle Ademola O.Egunjobi Olufisayo O.Odebunmi | 2018 | Family Medicine and Community Health2018，6，4： | 2 |

| 6 | Antibacterial potency of methanol extracts of lower plants显示文摘Antibacterial potency of methanol extracts of three green lower plants, Pneumatopteris afra, Platycerium bifurcatum and Nephrolepsis bisserata was determined using agar dilution method on clinical strains of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella spp. and Salmomelia typhi. Antibacterial activities were observed at concentrations of 12.5, 25.0, 50.0 and 100.0 μg/ml. Their minimum inhibitory concentrations ranged from 12.5~100 μg/ml. Extracts of P. afra and P. bifurcatum were most active. Antibacterial activities observed with N. bisserata were less pronounced with no detectable activity at extract con-centrations of 12.5 and 25.0 μg/ml. E. coli, together with S. aureus appeared to be the most susceptible of the test bacteria while Klebsiella spp. was least sensitive. The significance of our findings is discussed. | OJO O.O.
