| 1 | Endoscopic ultrasound guided thrombin injection of angiographically occult pancreatitis associated visceral artery pseudoaneurysms:Case series显示文摘Pseudoaneurysm is a known complication of pancreatitis associated with significant mortality and morbidity. Imaging plays an important role in the diagnosis and management. Computed tomography(CT) helps localize the lesion and the severity of the background pancreatitis but digital subtraction angiography with coil embolization is recommended to avoid bleeding and inadvertent surgery. However, in cases where angiographic coil embolization is not feasible due to technical reasons, thrombin injection via CT or ultrasound guidance remains a viable option and often described in literature. | 2 | Transarterial chemoembolization for liver metastases from solid pseudopapillary epithelial neoplasm of pancreas: A case report显示文摘Solid pseudo-papillary epithelial neoplasm(SPEN) is a rare epithelial tumor of pancreas with a low malignant potential occurs most commonly in young females. We report a case of 40 years old woman presented withextensive liver metastasis from SPEN of pancreatic body for which she was operated four years ago. Due to the extensive nature of metastatic disease she was offered Transarterial chemoembolisation(TACE) using gemcitabine as chemotherapeutic agent. Short term follow up after a month of TACE with multiphase computed tomography showed > 90% resolution in the viable tumor with significant clinical improvement. TACE ensures targeted delivery of chemotherapeutic drugs in higher doses with least systemic toxicity and is more effective and safe than systemic chemotherapy. | 3 | Mineralized collagen artificial bone repair material products used for fusing the podarthral joints with internal fixation—a case report显示文摘In this study,we reported a case with collapse and subluxation of metatarsal-cuneiform joint,navicular-cuneiform joint with subluxed the right first metatarsophalangeal joint.The injured medial column was internally fixed with compression arthrodesis.The fusion site was firmed up with BonGoldVR Bone Sponge and Bone Putty.The prognosis of fused navicular-cuneiform joint and metatarsal-cuneiform joint were examined by X-ray shortly after surgical operation and followed up 2,4,6,9 and 13 weeks after the surgical operation.Themedial column was perfectly fused by compression arthrodesis.These results justified and favored the application of mineralized collagen as an excellent alternative to autograft in fusing the podarthral joints with internal fixation. | Nihar S.Ghate Helen Cui | 2017 | Regenerative Biomaterials2017，4，5： | 4 |

| 5 | On COVID-19-safety ranking of seats in intercontinental commercial aircrafts:A preliminary multiphysics computational perspective显示文摘The evolution of coronavirus disease(COVID-19)into a pandemic has severely hampered the usage of public transit systems.In a post-COVID-19 world,we may see an increased reliance on autonomous cars and personal rapid transit(PRT)systems,with inherent physical distancing,over buses,trains and aircraft for intracity,intercity,and interstate travel.However,air travel would continue to be the dominant mode of intercontinental transportation for humans.In this study,we perform a comprehensive computational analysis,using ANSYS Fluent,of typical intercontinental aircraft ventilation systems to determine the seat where environmental factors are most conducive to human comfort with regards to air quality,protection from orally or nasally released pollutants such as CO_(2)and coronavirus,and thermal comfort levels.Air velocity,temperature,and air pollutant concentration emitted from the nose/mouth of fellow travelers are considered for both Boeing and Airbus planes.In each plane,first class,business class,and economy class sections were analyzed.We present conclusions as to which is the optimum seat in each section of each plane and provide the data of the environmental conditions to support our inferences.The findings may be used by the general public to decide which seat to occupy for their next intercontinental flight.Alternatively,the commercial airliners can use such a model to plan the occupancy of the aircraft on long-duration intercontinental flights(viz.,Airbus A380 and Boeing B747). | Prathamesh S.Desai Nihar Sawant Andrew Keene | 2021 | Building Simulation2021，14，6： | 2 |
| 6 | Development and validation of analytical method for the estimation of lamivudine in rabbit plasma显示文摘Lamivudine has been widely used in the treatment of HIV disease.A reliable,sensitive reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography(RP-HPLC)method was developed and validated for lamivudine in rabbit plasma.The method was developed on Hypersil BDS C-18 column(250 mm 4.6 mm,5 mm)using a mobile phase of 0.25%Triethylamine buffer(pH 3.0): acetonitrile(70:30,v/v).The efficient was monitored by UV detector at 256 nm.The total run time was 15 min with a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min.Calibration curve was linear over the concentration range of 25-2000 ng/mL.The retention times of lamivudine and internal standard(Nelfinavir)were 8.78 min and 10.86 min,respectively.The developed RP-HPLC method can be successfully applied for the quantitative pharmacokinetic parameters determination of lamivudine in rabbit model. | Akhilesh Vikram Singh Lila K.Nath Nihar R.Pani | 2011 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2011，1，4： | 2 |
