1Microstructures of metallic film and diamond growth from Fe-Ni-C system显示文摘The microstructures of metallic film surrounding diamond have been systemically studied using the transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and the atom force microscopy (AFM). The film can be divided into three layers (inner layer near diamond, external layer near graphite and middle layer). The graphite cannot be directly transformed into diamond in the film at HTHP: there exists a parallelrelationship between (111) of γ-(Fe,Ni) and (110) of Fe3C in the inner layer; the sawtooth-like step morphology found by AFM on the film is similar to that of corresponding diamond surface. A new model for diamond growth at HPHT is proposed from the parallel relationship and sawtooth-like step morphology. It is believed that Fe3C may be a transitional phase in the course of diamond growth, γ-(Fe,Ni) in the inner layer can absorb carbon atom groups with lamella structure from Fe3C, and then the carbon groups stack on growing diamond.XU Bin LI Musen YIN Longwei CUI Jianjun LIU Yuxian GONG Jianhong 2002Chinese Science Bulletin2002,47,15:12
2Effect of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens and Bacillus subtilis on fermentation, dynamics of bacterial community and their functional shifts of whole-plant corn silage显示文摘Background:Bacillus amyloliquefaciens(BA)and Bacillus subtilis(BS)are usually used as feed supplements directly or bacterial inoculants in biological feeds for animals.However,few research have reported the effects of BA and BS on fermentation characteristics and bacterial community successions of whole-plant corn silage during ensiling.If the BA and BS inoculants have positive effects on silages,then they could not only improve fermentation characteristics,but also deliver BA or BS viable cells to ruminants,which would play its probiotic effect.Therefore,the objectives of this study were to investigate the effects of BA and BS on the fermentation,chemical characteristics,bacterial community and their metabolic pathway of whole-plant corn silage.Results:Freshly chopped whole-plant corn was inoculated without or with BA and BS,respectively,and ensiled for1,3,7,14 and 60 d.Results showed that BA and BS inoculations increased lactic acid concentrations of whole-plant corn silages compared with control,and BA inoculation decreased acetic acid concentrations,whereas BS inoculation decreased fiber contents and increased crude protein(CP)content.Higher water-soluble carbohydrate contents and lower starch contents were observed in BA-and BS-inoculated silages compared with that in control.The decreased CP content and increased non-protein nitrogen content were observed in BA-inoculated silage,which was consistent with the higher amino acid metabolism abundances observed in BA-inoculated silage.In addition,it was noteworthy that BA and BS inoculations increased the metabolism of cofactors and vitamins,and decreased the relative abundances of drug resistance:antimicrobial pathways.We also found that the bacterial metabolism pathways were clearly separated into three clusters based on the ensiling times of whole-plant corn silage in the present study.There were no significant differences in bacterial community compositions among the three groups during ensiling.However,BA and BS inoculations decreased the relative abundances of undesirable bacteria such as Acetobacter and Acinetobacter.Conclusion:Our findings suggested that the BS strain was more suitable as silage inoculants than the BA strain in whole-plant corn silage in this study.Jie Bai Marcia Franco Zitong Ding Lin Hao Wencan Ke Musen Wang Dongmei Xie Ziqian Li Yixin Zhang Lin Ai Xusheng Guo 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,3:5
3Characterization and analysis of DLC films with different thickness deposited by RF magnetron PECVD显示文摘Diamond-like carbon (DLC) films have excellent mechanical and chemical properties similar to those of crystalline diamond giving them wide applications as protective coatings. So far, a variety of methods are employed to deposit DLC films. In this study, DLC films with different thicknesses were deposited on Si and glass substrates using RF magnetron PECVD method with C 4 H 10 as carbon source. The bonding microstructure, surface morphology and tribological properties at different growing stages of the DLC films were tested. Raman spectra were deconvoluted into D peak at about 1370 cm 1 and G peak around 1590 cm 1 , indicating typical features of the DLC films. A linear relationship between the film thickness and the deposition time was found, revealing that the required film thickness may be obtained by the appropriate tune of the deposition time. The concentration of sp 3 and sp 2 carbon atoms in the DLC films was measured by XPS spectra. As the films grew, the sp 3 carbon atoms decreased while sp 2 atoms increased. Surface morphology of the DLC films clearly showed that the films were composed of spherical carbon clusters, which tended to congregate as the deposition time increased. The friction coefficient of the films was very low and an increase was also found with the increase of film thickness corresponding to the results of XPS spectra. 4Preparation of H-terminated and aminated diamond like carbon surfaces显示文摘H-terminated DLC layers were synthesized on SiO 2 substrate by radio frequency (RF) magnetron plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) in a conventional reactor using C 4 H 10 as carbon source. As-deposited DLC films were characterized by Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) as well as atomic force microscopy (AFM). The chemical reactivity of the obtained DLC surface was further investigated by exposing the photochemically oxidized DLC surface to a silane reagent. 8Structural Imperfections Associated with Supersaturated Vacancies in an HPHT-Grown Diamond Single Crystal显示文摘A diamond single crystal, which was synthesized at a high temperature of 1570 K and a high pressure of 5.5 GPa in a Fe-Ni-C system, was directly and systematically examined by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). It is proposed that there exists a variety of imperfections such as dislocation loops, stacking faults, twins and stacking-fault tetrahedral in the diamond, which may be derived from the supersaturated vacancies generated during rapid cooling from high temperature. 13DSC Study on the Polyacrylonitrile Precursors for Carbon Fibers显示文摘Different polyacrylonitrile (PAN) precursor fibers that displayed various thermal properties were studied by using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Results showed that some commercial PAN precursor fibers displayed double separated peaks and these fibers were of high quality because of their process stability during their conversion to carbon fibers of high performance. Some fabrication processes, such as spinning, drawing, could not apparently change the DSC features of a PAN precursor fiber. 19Curing Technology for Improving the Quality of Upper Tobacco Leaves显示文摘In order to improve the curing quality and industrial availability of upper tobacco leaves,the effects of different temperature differences between dry and wet bulbs in yellowing stage on the chemical composition,aroma substances and economic characters of upper tobacco leaves were investigated using field test and indoor test.
