1Effect of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens and Bacillus subtilis on fermentation, dynamics of bacterial community and their functional shifts of whole-plant corn silage显示文摘Background:Bacillus amyloliquefaciens(BA)and Bacillus subtilis(BS)are usually used as feed supplements directly or bacterial inoculants in biological feeds for animals.However,few research have reported the effects of BA and BS on fermentation characteristics and bacterial community successions of whole-plant corn silage during ensiling.If the BA and BS inoculants have positive effects on silages,then they could not only improve fermentation characteristics,but also deliver BA or BS viable cells to ruminants,which would play its probiotic effect.Therefore,the objectives of this study were to investigate the effects of BA and BS on the fermentation,chemical characteristics,bacterial community and their metabolic pathway of whole-plant corn silage.Results:Freshly chopped whole-plant corn was inoculated without or with BA and BS,respectively,and ensiled for1,3,7,14 and 60 d.Results showed that BA and BS inoculations increased lactic acid concentrations of whole-plant corn silages compared with control,and BA inoculation decreased acetic acid concentrations,whereas BS inoculation decreased fiber contents and increased crude protein(CP)content.Higher water-soluble carbohydrate contents and lower starch contents were observed in BA-and BS-inoculated silages compared with that in control.The decreased CP content and increased non-protein nitrogen content were observed in BA-inoculated silage,which was consistent with the higher amino acid metabolism abundances observed in BA-inoculated silage.In addition,it was noteworthy that BA and BS inoculations increased the metabolism of cofactors and vitamins,and decreased the relative abundances of drug resistance:antimicrobial pathways.We also found that the bacterial metabolism pathways were clearly separated into three clusters based on the ensiling times of whole-plant corn silage in the present study.There were no significant differences in bacterial community compositions among the three groups during ensiling.However,BA and BS inoculations decreased the relative abundances of undesirable bacteria such as Acetobacter and Acinetobacter.Conclusion:Our findings suggested that the BS strain was more suitable as silage inoculants than the BA strain in whole-plant corn silage in this study.Jie Bai Marcia Franco Zitong Ding Lin Hao Wencan Ke Musen Wang Dongmei Xie Ziqian Li Yixin Zhang Lin Ai Xusheng Guo 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,3:5
2Characterization and analysis of DLC films with different thickness deposited by RF magnetron PECVD显示文摘Diamond-like carbon (DLC) films have excellent mechanical and chemical properties similar to those of crystalline diamond giving them wide applications as protective coatings. So far, a variety of methods are employed to deposit DLC films. In this study, DLC films with different thicknesses were deposited on Si and glass substrates using RF magnetron PECVD method with C 4 H 10 as carbon source. The bonding microstructure, surface morphology and tribological properties at different growing stages of the DLC films were tested. Raman spectra were deconvoluted into D peak at about 1370 cm 1 and G peak around 1590 cm 1 , indicating typical features of the DLC films. A linear relationship between the film thickness and the deposition time was found, revealing that the required film thickness may be obtained by the appropriate tune of the deposition time. The concentration of sp 3 and sp 2 carbon atoms in the DLC films was measured by XPS spectra. As the films grew, the sp 3 carbon atoms decreased while sp 2 atoms increased. Surface morphology of the DLC films clearly showed that the films were composed of spherical carbon clusters, which tended to congregate as the deposition time increased. The friction coefficient of the films was very low and an increase was also found with the increase of film thickness corresponding to the results of XPS spectra. 3Preparation of H-terminated and aminated diamond like carbon surfaces显示文摘H-terminated DLC layers were synthesized on SiO 2 substrate by radio frequency (RF) magnetron plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) in a conventional reactor using C 4 H 10 as carbon source. As-deposited DLC films were characterized by Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) as well as atomic force microscopy (AFM). The chemical reactivity of the obtained DLC surface was further investigated by exposing the photochemically oxidized DLC surface to a silane reagent. 7Late Early-Cretaceous Magma Mixing in the Langqi Island, Fujian Province, China: Evidences from Petrology, Geochemistry and Zircon Geochronology显示文摘The mafic enclaves from Mesozoic intermediate-acid magmatic rocks,widely developed along Fujian coast,are considered to be the results of large-scale crust-mantle interaction and magma mixing.In this paper,petrography,mineralogy,and geochemistry of granites and mafic microgranular enclaves(MMEs)in Langqi Island are studied to provide new information for tracing crust-mantle interaction.The zircon U-Pb dating results show that the Langqi rocks were formed at^101 Ma,which are metaluminous,enriched in silica and high-K calc-alkaline I-type granites.The enclaves have a typical magmatic structure,which is characterized by magma mixing between high-temperature basic magma and low-temperature acidic magma through injecting.The enclaves and host granites show a tendency to mixed major and trace elements,displaying a clear-cut contact relationship,which is indicative of coeval magmatism.The genesis of Langqi rocks is related to the extensional setting caused by the subduction of Paleo-Pacific Plate,and they are the results of mixing of subduction-related metasomatized mantle-derived mafic and induced crustal-melted granitic magma originating from partial melting of the crustal material.Liangliang Huang Liyuan Wang Hong-Rui Fan Musen Lin Wenhui Zhang 2020Journal of Earth Science2020,31,3:1

14Magnetotelluric study of the Xuefeng mountain area,Hu'nan Province,China显示文摘A magnetotelluric study was carried out in the Xuefeng mountain uplift belt and its western margins. A detailed investigation was made of the resistivity of the formations, and reliable data were obtained. The sedimentary cover and basement structure of the Xuefeng mountain area and the deep geological structure were analyzed in detail using magnetotelluric data from the twodimensional inversion of the resistivity profile data in combination with regional gravity and magnetic data. It was concluded that the tectonic movements were characterized by basement detachment, and north-south ramp.The study area can be divided into a southern uplift zone, a southern thrust-faulted zone, a central uplift zone, and a northern depression zone. 17Curing Technology for Improving the Quality of Upper Tobacco Leaves显示文摘In order to improve the curing quality and industrial availability of upper tobacco leaves,the effects of different temperature differences between dry and wet bulbs in yellowing stage on the chemical composition,aroma substances and economic characters of upper tobacco leaves were investigated using field test and indoor test. 19Computational screening and design of nanoporous membranes for efficient carbon isotope separation显示文摘Stable isotopes have been routinely used in chemical sciences,medical treatment and agricultural research.Conventional technologies to produce high-purity isotopes entail lengthy separation processes that often suffer from low selectivity and poor energy efficiency.Recent advances in nanoporous materials open up new opportunities for more efficient isotope enrichment and separation as the pore size and local chemical environment of such materials can be engineered with atomic precision.In this work,we demonstrate the unique capability of nanoporous membranes for the separation of stable carbon isotopes by computational screening a materials database consisting of 12,478 computation-ready,experimental metal-organic frameworks(MOFs).Nanoporous materials with the highest selectivity and membrane performance scores have been identified for separation of^(12)CH_4/^(13)CH_4 at the ambient condition(300 K).Analyzing the structural features and metal sites of the promising MOF candidates offers useful insights into membrane design to further improve the performance.An upper limit of the efficiency has been identified for the separation of^(12)CH_4/^(13)CH_4 with the existing MOFs and those variations by replacement of the metal sites.Jingqi Wang Musen Zhou Diannan Lu Weiyang Fei Jianzhong Wu 2020Green Energy & Environment2020,5,3:1
20Local atomic structure evolution of liquid gadolinium and yttrium during solidification:An ab initio study显示文摘Local atomic structure evolution of pure gadolinium(Gd)and yttrium(Y)during solidification was investigated by using ab initio molecular dynamics(AIMD)simulation.The calculated results indicate that the local short-range order(SRO)in liquid Gd and Y is similar to some transitional metals with an asymmetric shape of the second peak in static structure factors.Moreover,the formation of icosahedral local motifs as a function of temperature decreases the diffusivity,which explains the connection between structure evolution and dynamic properties.In examining the topological structures of both systems,we demonstrate that small atomic displacement leads to two different types of topological sixfold rings in liquid and solid states.All analyses yield a systematic study about rare earth metals Gd and Y at the atomic level.Qinghe Zheng Tao Hu Sébastien Le Roux Musen Li Chaoyue Chen Jianbo Yu Jiang Wang Wei Ren Zhongming Ren 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,8:0
