1认知康复训练联合盐酸多奈哌齐对脑卒中后认知障碍P300的影响显示文摘目的研究认知康复训练与盐酸多奈哌齐对脑卒中后认知障碍(post-stroke cognitive impairment,PSCI)患者事件相关电位P300的影响。方法筛选44例脑卒中后认知障碍患者作为研究对象。随机分成药物组(24例)和对照组(20例)。药物组除口服盐酸多奈哌齐外,2组患者均给予正规认知康复训练。治疗前和治疗4周后进行蒙特利尔认知评估量表(Montreal cognitive assessment scale,MoCA)评定、事件相关电位(event-related potential,ERP)P300检查。结果2组治疗前后相比,MoCA总分均明显改善(P<0.05);同时P300潜伏期缩短(P<0.01),波幅增高(P<0.05);与对照组相比,药物组治疗后MoCA总分改善差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);进一步子项比较,视空间及执行功能明显改善(P<0.01),注意及延迟记忆改善(P<0.05)。命名、语言、抽象及定向子项评分差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。P300潜伏期明显缩短(P<0.01),波幅提高(P<0.01)。结论较单纯认知康复训练相比,与多奈哌齐联合治疗可显著改善脑卒中患者的认知障碍,尤其改善视空间与执行功能、注意及记忆功能。刘玲玉 范俐 张红 MOHAMMADALI Soleimani Damaneh 2017中国实用神经疾病杂志2017,20,23:15
2Asymptomatic seminal infection of herpes simplex virus:impact on male infertility显示文摘In more than half of infertile men,the cause of their infertility is unknown.Several studies revealed the role of viral infections in male infertility.The aim of the present study was to determine the prevalence of herpes simplex virus-1 (HSV-1) and HSV-2 in semen from asymptomatic infertile male patients,and its association with altered semen parameters.A total of 70 semen samples were collected from infertile men who attended the Research and Clinical Center for Infertility in Yazd,Iran.Semen analysis and diagnostic real-time PCR using specific primers and probes for HSV-1 and HSV-2 DNA were performed.Comparison of semen parameters between virally infected and non-infected samples were performed with independent t-test and Mann-Whitney test.Semen analysis showed that infertile men fell into two groups,the male factor group and the unexplained group.HSV-1 and HSV-2 DNA was detected in 16 (22.9%) and 10 (14.3%) of 70 semen samples,respectively.All HSV-positive samples had abnormal semen parameters (the male factor group).Although HSV infection was not associated with sperm motility and morphological defects,it was correlated with lower sperm count in the seminal fluid.The findings suggest that asymptomatic seminal infection of HSV plays an important role in male infertility by adversely affecting sperm count.Seyed Hamidreza Monavari Mostafa Salehi vaziri Mohammadali Khalili Mahmoud Shamsi-Shahrabadi Hossein Keyvani Hamidreza Mollaei Mehdi Fazlalipour 2013The Journal of Biomedical Research2013,27,1:4
3Assessment of digital image correlation method in determining large scale cemented rockfill strains显示文摘A conventional contact method(using linear transducers)and a non-contact method are deployed to measure the axial and lateral deformations of large scale cylindrical cemented rockfill specimens.Experimental works incorporating two pinhole cameras to create one stereovision by digital image correlation shows that the non-contact method is as reliable for testing large cylindrical specimens as measurements done by using linear variable displacement transformer and string potentiometer.Considering this particular large specimen,the experiment resulted in the acceptable mean difference between lateral strain using both methods is 5.1 percent,and 14.5 percent for the axial strain.This occurrence is inevitable due to the heterogeneity of the concrete system and the placement of the monitoring point in digital image correlation method,although the comparison of stress-strain relationship in both methods still indicates a conformity.Based on the results of the present experiments,the authors recommend the noncontact method for a detailed investigation of the material behavior during the uniaxial compressive strength tests.Full field strain measurement enables this digital method to examine local strains near cracks at any point,a very useful tool for studying material deformation behavior.Bob A.Lingga Derek B.Apel Mohammadali Sepehri Yuanyuan Pu 2019International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2019,29,5:4
4Enhanced digestion inhibition and mucus penetration of F127-modified self-nanoemulsions for improved oral delivery显示文摘Self-nanoemulsifying systems(SNEs) have excellent ability to improve the solubility ofpoorly water-soluble drugs(PWSD). However, SNEs are likely to be degraded in gastroin-testinal(GIT) when their surface is recognized by lipase/co-lipase enzyme complex, result-ing in rapid release and precipitation of encapsulated drugs. The precipitates are then cap-tured and removed by intestinal mucus, reducing the delivery efficacy of SNEs. Herein, theamphiphilic polymer Pluronic? F127 was incorporated into long and short-chain triglyc-erides(LCT, SCT) based SNEs to diminish the recognition and therefore minimized theirdegradation by enzymes and clearance by mucus. The SNEs were characterized in termsof particle size, zeta potential and stability. Ex vivo multiple particles tracking studies wereperformed by adding particle solution into fresh rat mucus. Cellular uptake of SNEs wereconducted by using E12 cells, the absorption and distribution in small intestine were alsostudied after oral administration in male Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats. The in vitro digestionrate of SNEs were found to be in following order SCT-SNE > SCT-F127-SNE > LCT-SNE > LCT-F127-SNE. Moreover, the LCT-F127-SNE was found to be most effective in enhancing cellularuptake, resulting in 3.5-fold, 2.1-fold and 1.7-fold higher than that of SCT-SNE, LCT-SNE andSCT-F127-SNE, respectively. After incubating the SNE with E12 cells, the LCT-F127-SNE ex-hibited the highest amount regarding both mucus penetration and cellular uptake, with anuptake amount number(via bicinchoninic acid(BCA) analysis) of 3.5-fold, 2.1-fold and 1.7-fold higher than that of SCT-SNE, LCT-SNE and SCT-F127-SNE, respectively. The in vivo results revealed that orally administered LCT-F127-SNE could significantly increase the bioavailability of Cyclosporine A(CsA), which was approximately 2.43-fold, 1.33-fold and 1.80-fold higher than that of SCT-SNE, SCT-F127-SNE and LCT-SNE, respectively. 5Axial response and material efficiency of tapered helical piles显示文摘Different techniques have been proposed to increase the bearing capacity of open-ended piles.Welding helices to the shaft and tapering the pile shaft could be used simultaneously to enhance the static and dynamic behaviors of these piles.This paper subjects the bearing capacity,stiffness,frictional behavior,and material efficiency of the tapered helical piles to scrutiny.Tapered helical piles are introduced herein as an alternative option to improve the material efficiency of hollow piles.Based on the Taguchi method,a series of experiments was designed and conducted.The axial responses of tapered helical piles are also investigated using finite element analyses.The results derived from loadedisplacement curves and strain gages are used to characterize the axial compression responses of tapered helical piles.The effects of tapered angle,helices diameter and helices distance are examined using dimensionless parameters,and the degree of contribution of these factors is calculated on each of the enumerated variables individually.Experimental results show that the shaft friction resistance of tapered helical piles increases continuously with the pile head settlement.Furthermore,the effect of tapered wall on the shaft friction resistance is more tangible at low stress levels.The results showed that the relative material efficiency factor of the optimum pile could be 2.5 times that of unoptimized pile with a similar quantity of material.Hamid Mortazavi Bak Amir M.Halabian Hamid Hashemolhosseini Mohammadali Rowshanzamir 2021Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2021,13,1:3
6Numerical modeling for rockbursts:A state-of-the-art review显示文摘As the depth of excavation increases,rockburst becomes one of the most serious geological hazards damaging equipment and facilities and even causing fatalities in mining and civil engineering.This has forced researchers worldwide to identify different methods to investigate rockburst-related problems.However,some problems,such as the mechanisms and the prediction of rockbursts,continue to be studied because rockburst is a very complicated phenomenon influenced by the uncertainty and complexity in geological conditions,in situ stresses,induced stresses,etc.Numerical modeling is a widely used method for investigating rockbursts.To date,great achievements have been made owing to the rapid development of information technology(IT)and computer equipment.Hence,it is necessary and meaningful to conduct a review of the current state of the studies for rockburst numerical modeling.In this paper,the categories and the origin of different numerical approaches employed in modeling rockbursts are reviewed and the current usage of various numerical modeling approaches is investigated by a literature research.Later,a state-of-the-art review is implemented to investigate the application of numerical modeling in the mechanism study,and prediction and prevention of rockbursts.The main achievements and problems are highlighted.Finally,this paper discusses the limitations and the future research of numerical modeling for rockbursts.An approach is proposed to provide researchers with a systematic and reasonable numerical modeling framework.Jun Wang Derek B.Apel Yuanyuan Pu Robert Hall Chong Wei Mohammadali Sepehri 2021Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2021,13,2:3

18Design and Development of a Wheel-less Snake Robot with Active Stiffness Control for Adaptive Pedal Wave Locomotion显示文摘This paper presents the design and manufacture process of a wheel-less,modular snake robot with series elastic actuators to reliably measure motor torque signal and investigate the effectiveness of active stiffness control for achieving adaptive snake-like locomotion.A polyurethane based elastic element to be attached between the motor and the links at each joint was designed and manufactured using water jet cutter,which makes the final design easier to develop and more cost-effective,compared to existing snake robots with torque measurement capabilities.The reliability of such torque measurement mechanism was examined using simulated dynamical model of pedal wave motion,which proves the efficacy of the design.A distributed control system was also designed,which with the help of an admittance controller,enables active control of the joint stiffness to achieve adaptive snake robot pedal wave locomotion to climb over obstacles,which unlike existing methods does not require prior information about the location of the obstacle.The effectiveness of the proposed controller in comparison to open-loop control strategy was verified by the number of experiments.The results show the capability of the robot to successfully climb over obstacles with the height of more than 55%of the diameter of the snake robot modules.Mohammadali Javaheri Koopaee Sander Bal Christopher Pretty Xiaoqi Chen 2019Journal of Bionic Engineering2019,16,4:1
19Knowledge, attitude and use of complementary and integrative health strategies: a preliminary survey of Iranian nurses显示文摘BACKGROUND: Disagreement exists regarding the need for knowledge about complementary and integrative health(CIH) strategies, as well as for the need to consider such strategies in clinical nursing practice. OBJECTIVE: This study was conducted to assess the knowledge, attitude and use of CIH strategies among nurses in Iran. DESIGN, SETTING, PARTICIPANTS AND INTERVENTIONS: A cross-sectional study of nurses working in two hospitals of Zabol University of Medical Sciences, in southeast Iran, was conducted from October 2014 to April 2015. The questionnaire, developed specifically for this research, was used to assess the knowledge, attitude and use of CIH by nurses. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to interpret the survey responses.RESULTS: Most nurses(n=95, 60.5%) have average knowledge about CIH strategies with most holding a positive attitude about use(n=81, 51.6%). The majority(n=90, 57.3%) of nurses, however, never applied CIH methods. Where CIH was used, massage was most often clinically applied(n=129, 82.2%) and a large percentage believed it useful for treating illness(n=136, 87.9%). Other CIH methods commonly used included prayer and herbal medicine.CONCLUSION: Nurses have positive attitudes about CIH though knowledge was typically weak.
