| 2 | Isolation,characterization,and phylogenic analysis of three new severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome bunyavirus strains derived from Hubei Province,China显示文摘Hubei Province is a major epidemic area of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome bunyavirus(SFTSV) in China. However, to date, a few SFTSV strains have been isolated from Hubei Province, preventing effective studies of epidemic outbreaks. Here, we report three confirmed patients(2015–2016) with typical symptoms of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome disease(SFTS) who were farmers resident in different regions in Hubei Province. Three new SFTSV strains were isolated from the serum samples of each patient. Characterization of viral growth properties showed that there were no significant differences in virus production. All strains were completely sequenced, and phylogenetic analysis showed that unlike the other strains from Hubei province, which belonged to the SFTSV C3 genotype, one of the three strains belonged to the SFTSV C2 genotype. | 3 | Counteraction of ABA-Mediated Inhibition of Seed Germination and Seedling Establishment by ABA Signaling Terminator in Arabidopsis显示文摘Seed germination and seedling establishment are important for the reproductive success of plants,but seeds and seedlings typically encounter constantly changing environmental conditions.By inhibiting seed germination and post-germinative growth through the PYR1/PYL/RCAR ABA receptors and PP2C co-receptors,the phytohormone abscisic acid(ABA)prevents premature germination and seedling growth under unfavorable conditions.However,little is known about how the ABA-mediated inhibition of seed germination and seedling establishment is thwarted.Here,we report that ABA Signaling Terminator(ABT),a WD40 protein,efficiently switches off ABA signaling and is critical for seed germination and seedling establishment.ABT is induced by ABA in a PYR1/PYL/RCAR-PP2C-dependent manner.Overexpression of ABT promotes seed germination and seedling greening in the presence of ABA,whereas knockout of ABT has the opposite effect.We found that ABT interacts with the PYR1/PYL/RCAR and PP2C proteins,interferes with the interaction between PYR1/PYL4 and ABI1/ABI2,and hampers the inhibition of ABI1/ABI2 by ABA-bound PYR1/PYL4,thereby terminating ABA signaling.Taken together,our results reveal a core mechanism of ABA signaling termination that is critical for seed germination and seedling establishment in Arabidopsis. | Zhijuan Wang Ziyin Ren Chunhong Cheng Tao Wang Hongtao Ji Yang Zhao Zhiping Deng Liya Zhi Jingjing Lu Xinying Wu Shimin Xu Mengmeng Cao Hongtao Zhao Liu Liu Jiankang Zhu Xia Li | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,9: | 10 |

| 7 | Ultrafine Fe-modulated Ni nanoparticles embedded within nitrogen-doped carbon from Zr-MOFs-confined conversion for efficient oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Improvement of the low-cost transition metal electrocatalyst used in sluggish oxygen evolution reaction is a significant but challenging problem. In this study, ultrafine Fe-modulated Ni nanoparticles embedded in a porous Ni-doped carbon matrix were produced by the pyrolysis of zirconium metal–organic–frameworks, in which 2,2′-bipyridine-5,5′-dicarboxylate operating as a ligand can coordinate with Ni^(2+) and Fe^(3+). This strategy allows formation of Fe-modulated Ni nanoparticles with a uniform dimension of about 2 nm which can be ascribed to the spatial blocking effect of ZrO_(2). This unique catalyst displays an efficient oxygen evolution reaction electrocatalytic activity with a low overpotential of 372 mV at 10 mA·cm^(–2) and a small Tafel slope of 84.4 mV·dec^(–1) in alkaline media. More importantly, it shows superior durability and structural stability after 43 h in a chronoamperometry test. Meanwhile, it shows excellent cycling stability during 4000 cyclic voltammetry cycles. Platelets can be recruited and activated by tumor cells, then adhere to circulating tumor cells(CTCs) and assist tumor cells extravasate in distant organs. Therefore, nanoparticles specially hitchhiking on activated platelets are considered to have excellent targeting ability for primary tumor, CTCs and metastasis in distant organs. However, the activated tumor-homing platelets will release transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β), which promotes tumor metastasis and forms immunosuppressive microenvironment. Therefore, a multitalent strategy is needed to balance the accurate tumor tracking and alleviate the immunosuppressive signals. In this study, a fucoidan-functionalized micelle(FD/DOX) was constructed, which could efficiently adhere to activated platelets through P-selectin.Compared with the micelle without P-selectin targeting effect, FD/DOX had increased distribution in both tumor tissue and metastasis niche, and exhibited excellent anti-tumor and anti-metastasis efficacy on 4 T1 spontaneous metastasis model. | 17 | Duct ectasia of bilateral accessory breast associated with pituitary microadenoma:a case report and literature review显示文摘Background:Mammary duct ectasia is an acute or chronic inflammatory breast disease that occurs mainly in nonlactating women.It rarely occurs in the accessory breast.The etiology of this condition remains unclear.The long course and complex clinicalmanifestations of this disease in some patients make it easy to misdiagnose.Case Presentation:Herein,we report a case of bilateral accessory breast duct ectasia.A 34-year-old nonlactating Chinese woman presented with a mass in the right axilla.Physical examination and ultrasonography revealed inflammatory lesions in both accessory breasts.Laboratory data and magnetic resonance imaging revealed hyperprolactinemia and pituitary microadenoma.Penicillin and bromocriptine were administered to prevent infection and reduce serum prolactin levels.We performed a simple mastectomy of the bilateral accessory breasts.The outcome was satisfactory.Conclusion:This article reports the first case of bilateral accessory breast associated with pituitary microadenoma and reviews the literature to provide a reference for clinicians. | Jie Liu Han Cong Xu Chen Yan Deng Mengmeng Shang Rong Ma Pengyu Li KunrunMa Lei Zhang Jiang Zhu | 2023 | Emergency and Critical Care Medicine2023,3,1: | 0 |
| 18 | Ecosystem services dynamics response to tremendous reclamation in a coastal island city显示文摘Introduction:Ecosystem services are the benefits delivering from the natural environment to human society.Ecosystem services are regarded as important tools for decision-makers to understand the impacts of land use and land cover(LULC)change.Outcomes:The dynamic of four primary ecosystem service indicators were assessed over 1984–2014 based on InVEST model and their responses to LULC changes have been analyzed by the ecosystem service change index(ESCI)and ecosystem service state index(ESSI).Our results confirmed the significant increment in land reclamation in Zhoushan City and over half of the reclamation area was used for human-induced urbanization and over a quarter for the fishery.For the whole territory,the most significant LULC conversions were observed between agricultural land and urban.The study period witnessed the degradation of habitat quality and soil sediment,an increment of the water yield and no significant change of carbon storage.Discussion and Conclusion:Most changes in LULC are significantly related to the dynamics of ecosystem services,which were more impacted in the reclamation area than the rest of the city.Our study highlights the importance of ecosystem service assessments for sustainable land planning and securing economic development. | Jinsong Deng Yi Lin Mengmeng Zhou Chun Wu Binjie Chen Guoqiang Xiao Jinbo Cai | 2019 | Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2019,5,1: | 0 |
| 19 | Modulation of Microstructure and Charge Transport in Polymer Monolayer Transistors by Solution Aging显示文摘A few monolayers of organic semiconductors adjacent to the dielectric layer are of vital importance in organic field-effect transistors due to their dominant role in charge transport.In this report,the 2-nm-thick polymer monolayers based on poly(3-hexylthiophene)with different molecular weights(M_(n))were fabricated using dip-coating technique.During the monolayer(solid state)formation from the solution,a disorder-to-order transition of polymer conformation is observed through UV-vis absorption measurement.Meanwhile,high Mn polymer monolayer generates higher crystalline fibrillar microstructure than the low Mn one due to the strongerπ–πintermolecular packing between polymers.More importantly,the solution aging procedure is utilized to further improve the morphology of polymer monolayers.It is obvious that after aging for 6 d,both fiber dimension and density as well as conjugation length are significantly increased under the same processing conditions in comparison to the fresh solution,and consequently the field-effect mobilities are remarkably enhanced by 2—4 times.Note that the maximum mobility of 0.027 cm2·V^(–1)·s^(–1)is among the highest reported values for poly(3-hexylthiophene)monolayer transistors.These results demonstrate a simple but powerful strategy for boosting the device performance of polymer monolayer transistors. | Xuemei Lin Ruochen Liu Chenming Ding Junyang Deng Yifu Guo Shibing Long Ling Li Mengmeng Li | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,11: | 0 |
| 20 | Promoting the charge separation and photoelectrocatalytic water reduction kinetics of Cu_(2)O nanowires via decorating dual-cocatalysts显示文摘Developing high activity and low-cost materials to produce hydrogen by the sustainable way of photoelectrochemical is key to social development.The abundance and inexpensive Cu_(2)O has been received increasing research as its suitable energy level for photocatalytic water reduction.However,the fast charge recombination rate and the sluggish catalytic kinetics are the huge challenges facing the Cu_(2)O photoreduction.Here,the highly reactive Cu_(2)O@C-MoS_(2)photocathode is constructed by depositing dual-cocatalysts of the carbon layer and MoS_(2)nanosheets on Cu_(2)O nanowires to realize efficient water reduction.An impressive carrier concentration of 6.59×10^(23)cm^(-3)is received,which is 2.78 times of the bare Cu_(2)O,resulting in remarkable enhancement in photocurrent density of 3.34 times for the Cu_(2)O@CMoS_(2)photocathode.Moreover,the applied bias photon-to-current conversion efficiency of the bare Cu_(2)O enhanced 4.5 times from 0.16%to 0.72%in the Cu_(2)O@C-MoS_(2)photocathode.The analysis shows that the Cu_(2)O as light absorber,the carbon layer as electron transfer promoter,and MoS_(2)nanosheets as catalytic sites,thus facilitating chrage separation and enhancing catalytic kinetics.This system paves a feasible strategy for designing other photoelectrodes to realize efficient charge separation and high catalytic activity. | Mengmeng Zhang Jiajun Wang Yang Wang Jinfeng Zhang Xiaopeng Han Yanan Chen Yuesheng Wang Zaghib Karim Wenbin Hu Yida Deng | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,3: | 0 |
