| 2 | Ground-based GPS Used in the Snow Depth Survey of Greenland显示文摘Snow cover is one of the important components of land cover,and it is necessary to accurately monitor the depth and coverage of snow cover.Using the GPS signal receiver data and the basic principle of snow depth detection based on GPS-MR technology,the snow depth of the three sites on the Greenland PBO network GLS1,GLS2,and GLS3 from 2012 to 2018 was obtained.The inversion snow depth is affected by site drift,which is a quite difference from the measured snow depth.Combined with the stable reference point,the velocity field distribution of Greenland Island and the U-direction component change value of the station can be obtained through GAMIT calculation.By analyzing the glacial flow and U-direction component,the influence of the site drift on the snow depth was deducted,and finally compared the corrected inversion snow depth and measured snow depth found that the two were better than before the correction,the results were significantly improved,and the consistency was good.The analysis of the experimental results showed that in extremely cold areas such as Greenland Island,affected by glaciers,the continuous,real-time,high-time resolution snow depth around the measured station obtained by ground-based GPS tracking stations has a large gap with the measured snow depth value,and the gap will gradually increase with time.By deducting the impact of glacier drift,the trend of the two is the same and the consistency is good.The correctness and feasibility of the application of ground-based GPS snow cover theory in the polar area further expand the application scope and practical value of ground-based GPS in snow monitoring. | Shuangcheng ZHANG Meiling ZHOU Yajie WANG Ning LIU Qi LIU Jilun PENG | 2021 | Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2021,4,2: | 3 |

| 4 | Nonhematopoietic erythropoietin derivative protects cardiomyocytes from hypoxia/reoxygenation-induced apoptosis显示文摘Objective:Carbamylated EPO(CEPO)is a derivative of erythropoietin(EPO)by subjecting it to carbamylation.It does not stimulate erythropoiesis,but effectively protects tissue from injury.The present study was to investigate the effect of CEPO treatment using in vitro models of hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R).Methods:Cardiomyocytes were exposed to hypoxia(95% N2 and 5% CO2)for 1 hour followed by 4 hours of reoxygenation(95% O2 and 5% CO2).CEPO was administered after hypoxia,just before reoxygenation.The apoptotic cardiomyocytes were determined by flow cytometry.The level of protein was assessed by western blot analysis.Results:CEPO treatment significantly decreased the apoptotic cardiomyocytes by 54.20% compared with H/R group.Western blot analysis showed that CEPO administration increased the level of Bcl-2(an antiapoptotic protein)by 62.22% compared with H/R group.Conclusion:Acute administration of CEPO protected cardiomyocytes from H/R-induced apoptosis.CEPO protected cardiomyocytes with a concomitant upregulation of Bcl-2 after H/R injury. | Xuan Xu Xiaohong Shan Zhijuan Cao Meiling Wu Qi Chen Yuehua Li | 2008 | Journal of Nanjing Medical University2008,22,2: | 2 |

| 11 | Surface decoration of development-inspired synthetic N-cadherin motif via Ac-BP promotes osseointegration of metal implants显示文摘Research works on the synergistic effect of surface modified bioactive molecules and bone metal implants have been highlighted.N-cadherin is regarded as a key factor in directing cell-cell interactions during the mesenchymal condensation preceding the osteogenesis in the musculoskeletal system.In this study,the N-cadherin mimetic peptide(Cad)was biofunctionalized on the titanium metal surface via the acryloyl bisphosphonate(Ac-BP).To learn the synergistic effect of N-cadherin mimetic peptide,when tethered with titanium substrates,on promoting osteogenic differentiation of the seeded human mesenchymal stem cells(hMSCs)and the osseointegration at the bone-implant interfaces.Results show that the conjugation of N-cadherin mimetic peptide with Ac-BP promoted the osteogenic gene markers expression in the hMSCs.The biofunctionalized biomaterial surfaces promote the expression of the Wnt/β-catenin downstream axis in the attached hMSCs,and then enhance the in-situ bone formation and osseointegration at the bone-implant interfaces.We conclude that this N-cadherin mimetic peptide tethered on Ti surface promote osteogenic differentiation of hMSCs and osseointegration of biomaterial implants in vitro and in vivo.These findings demonstrate the importance of the development-inspired surface bioactivation of metal implants and shed light on the possible cellular mechanisms of the enhanced osseointegration. | Meiling Zhu Kunyu Zhang Lu Feng Sien Lin Qi Pan Liming Bian Gang Li | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,5: | 1 |
