1Protection Challenges Under Bulk Penetration of Renewable Energy Resources in Power Systems:A Review显示文摘Among different sources of alternate energy,wind and solar are two prominent and promising alternatives to meet the future electricity needs for mankind.Generally,these sources are integrated at the distribution utilities to supply the local distribution customers.If the power generated by these sources is bulk,then they are either integrated at the distribution/transmission level or may be operated in an island mode if feasible.The integration of these renewables in the power network will change the fault level and network topologies.These fault levels are intermittent in nature and existing protection schemes may fail to operate because of their pre-set condition.Therefore,the design and selection of a proper protection scheme is very much essential for reliable control and operation of renewable integrated power systems.Depending upon the level of infeed and location of the renewable integration,the protection requirements are different.For low renewable infeed at the distribution level,the existing relay settings are immune from any small change in the network fault current from new incoming renewables.However,bulk renewable infeed requires modification in the existing protection schemes to accommodate the fault current variation from the incoming renewables.For bulk penetration of the renewable,the requirement of modified/additional protection schemes is unavoidable.Adaptive relaying and non-adaptive relaying schemes are discussed in the literature for protection of power networks,which are experiencing dynamic fault currents and frequent changing network topologies.This article presents a detailed review of protection schemes for renewable integrated power networks which includes distribution,transmission and microgrid systems.The merits and demerits of these protection schemes are also identified in this article for the added interest of the readers.The visible scope of advance protection schemes which may be suitable for providing reliable protection for dynamic fault current networks is also explored.Vishnuvardhan Telukunta Janmejaya Pradhan Anubha Agrawal Manohar Singh 2017CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2017,3,4:33
2Pathogenic mechanisms of pancreatitis显示文摘Pancreatitis is inflammation of pancreas and caused by a number of factors including pancreatic duct obstruction, alcoholism, and mutation in the cationic trypsinogen gene. Pancreatitis is represented as acute pancreatitis with acute inflammatory responses and; chronic pan-creatitis characterized by marked stroma formation with a high number of infiltrating granulocytes(such as neutrophils, eosinophils), monocytes, macrophages and pancreatic stellate cells(PSCs). These inflammatory cells are known to play a central role in initiating and promoting inflammation including pancreatic fibrosis, i.e., a major risk factor for pancreatic cancer. A number of inflammatory cytokines are known to involve in pro-moting pancreatic pathogenesis that lead pancreatic fibrosis. Pancreatic fibrosis is a dynamic phenomenon that requires an intricate network of several autocrine and paracrine signaling pathways. In this review, we have provided the details of various cytokines and molecular mechanistic pathways(i.e., Transforming growth factor-β/SMAD, mitogen--activated protein kinases, Rho kinase, Janus kinase/signal transducers and activators, and phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase) that have a critical role in the activation of PSCs to promote chronic pancreatitis and trigger the phenomenon of pancreatic fibrogenesis. In this review of literature, we discuss the involvement of several pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines, such as in interleukin(IL)-1, IL-1β, IL-6, IL--8 IL-10, IL-18, IL--33 and tumor necrosis factor-α, in the pathogenesis of disease. Our review also highlights the significance of several experimental animal models that have an important role in dissecting the mechanistic pathways operating in the development of chronic pancreatitis, including pancreatic fibrosis. 5Protection coordination in distribution systems with and without distributed energy resources-a review显示文摘Emission of greenhouse gases and depletion of fossil fuel reserves are two key drivers,which are forcing the mankind to generate the future energy demand from the renewable energy resources.These resources are generally distributed in nature and are directly integrated at distribution levels.Increasing penetration of the distributed energy resources in distribution power networks creates additional operational and control issues.These are mostly regulatory,economical load dispatching,power quality and protection issues.Generally power distribution systems are protected with the help of dedicated over current based protection schemes.But increasing share of distributed energy resources penetration in electric utilities poses a serious threat to the existing protection coordination schemes of the distribution systems.Distributed energy resources connected distribution networks become interconnected in nature and protection coordination schemes,which are designed for unidirectional flow of fault currents become ineffective/non-functional.Therefore,new protection coordination schemes are required for providing the adequate protection coordination for distributed energy resources connected electric power networks.In the available literature,the protection coordination schemes for radial distribution systems and developments in the area of protection coordination are discussed in detail.A thorough review for all these protection coordination schemes for distribution systems with and without distributed energy resources is done in this review article.It includes the analytical and artificial intelligence based techniques application for coordination of protective relays in the distribution systems.The limitations and research gaps in the area of protection coordination schemes are also presented in this review article.The aim of this research paper is to bring all the available research in the area of relay coordination on one platform,so that it will help the emerging researcher to identify the future scope of relay coordination application for distributed energy resources connected distribution systems.Manohar Singh 2017Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2017,2,1:3
6七氟烷在小鼠中的代谢研究显示文摘目的探讨吸入麻醉药七氟烷是否能在小鼠肝及脑组织中进行生物转化,并对其代谢产物六氟异丙醇(HFIP)进行测定。方法在七氟烷麻醉下,取小鼠部分肝及全部脑组织,将其匀浆后于密闭空针中分别加入0.5%、1%及3%七氟烷于37℃恒温箱中孵育6h,分别于0、1、2、4、6h测定气相中HFIP浓度。结果在对小鼠肝脏组织匀浆的孵育中,3种七氟烷孵育浓度均检测出HFIP,且以0.5%七氟烷孵育时HFIP含量最高。在对小鼠脑组织匀浆的孵育中,当七氟烷浓度为0.5%及1%时检测出HFIP,且前者高于后者,但当七氟烷孵育浓度为3%时,未能检出HFIP。结论七氟烷能在小鼠肝及脑组织中代谢分解成HFIP,但随着七氟烷孵化浓度的增加,HFIP的生成却减少。杨小霖 Edmond Eger Eger Manohar Sharma 2012四川医学2012,33,11:2

10Improved dielectric and electro-optical parameters of nematic liquid crystal doped with magnetic nanoparticles显示文摘This study investigates the effect of magnetic nanoparticles(NPs) on the weakly polar nematic liquid crystal(NLC).Different parameters of dielectric data were measured for both the homeotropic and planar aligned samples as a function of frequency and temperature and the substantial changes have been noticed for the doped systems. Dielectric permittivity has been increased after the dispersion of magnetic NPs in the pure NLC. Dielectric anisotropy has also been influenced by incorporating the magnetic NPs with the NLC molecules. These results were attributed to the dipole–dipole interaction between the magnetic nanoparticles and nematic liquid crystal molecules. Electro-optical study indicated the faster rise time and fall time of the doped systems as compare to pure NLC. Threshold voltage has been calculated and found to be decreased for the doped systems. Moreover, we have also calculated the rotational viscosity and the splay elastic constant for pure and the doped systems. Both the rotational viscosity and splay elastic constant of the doped systems are found to be considerably lower than those of pure NLC. Change in these properties has been explained on the basis of molecular disturbances created by the interaction between the magnetic nanoparticle and LC director.
