| 4 | Early Serum HBsAg Kinetics as Predictor of HBsAg Loss in Patients with HBeAg-Negative Chronic Hepatitis B after Treatment with Pegylated Interferonα-2a显示文摘Hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg)loss is an ideal treatment endpoint for patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB).We investigated the predictive value of on-treatment HBsAg levels for HBsAg loss in hepatitis B e antigen(HBe Ag)-negative CHB patients who received 120-week PEG-IFNα-2a treatment.Serum HBV DNA,HBsAg,and anti-HBs levels were assayed at baseline and every 3 months during the treatment.Of 81 patients,12 achieved HBsAg loss,20 achieved HBsAg\100 IU/mL,and 49 maintained HBs Ag C 100 IU/mL.HBsAg loss rate was only 3.7%at 48 weeks,while it reached to 11.1%and 14.8%after treatment of 96 weeks and 120 weeks.The cutoff HBs Ag levels at 12 weeks predicting HBsAg loss at 96 weeks and 120 weeks of treatment were 400 IU/mL and 750 IU/mL,with AUC 0.725 and 0.722,positive predictive value(PPV)29.41%and 30.56%,and negative predictive value(NPV)93.75%and 97.78%,respectively.The cutoff HBsAg levels at 24 weeks predicting HBsAg loss at 96 weeks and 120 weeks of treatment were 174 IU/m L and 236 IU/mL respectively,with AUC 0.925 and 0.922,PPV 40.0%and 46.15%,and both NPV 100%.The predictive ability of the cutoff HBsAg levels at 24 weeks was better than that at 12 weeks for HBs Ag loss at either 96 or 120 weeks(χ~2=3.880,P=0.049 andχ~2=4.412,P=0.036).These results indicate that extended therapy is critical to HBsAg loss in HBe Ag-negative CHB patients during PEG-IFN treatment,and the HBsAg level at 24 weeks can be used to predict HBsAg loss during tailoring PEG-IFN therapy. | Minghui Li Lu Zhang Yao Lu Qiqi Chen Huihui Lu Fangfang Sun Zhan Zeng Gang Wan Linqing Zhao Yao Xie | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,2: | 15 |

| 7 | Effect of Zhuyeshigao granule on tumor necrosis factor-α and inter leukins serum protein levels in rats with radiation esophagitis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Zhuyeshigao granule(ZSG) on tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin-1(IL-1), IL-2, IL-6, and IL-8 in rats with radiation esophagitis.METHODS: Fifty Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups(10 rats in each group): control(without radiation), saline-treated, and low,medium, and high-dose ISG-treated groups. Rats were given normal saline(10 mL/kg) or 1.15, 2.3,or 4.6 g/kg ZSG by intragastric administration once a day for 7 days. A rat model of radiation esophagitis was established by local irradiation of Co60(490.25 cGy/min, totaling 30 Gy). The administration of ZSG was continued for another 7 days and on the 7th day post-irradiation, inferior vena cava blood was collected.The serum was separated, and TNF-α, IL-1, IL-2, IL-6, and IL-8 protein levels were determined.RESULTS: Inflammatory response factors were found in the serum of each group. | 8 | Characteristics of air pollution by polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans in the typical industrial areas of Tangshan City,China显示文摘The ambient air in vicinity of different industrial sources for PCDD/PCDFs was sampled by TSP/PM 10 active samplers and passive PUF disk samplers in Tangshan City,a metropolis containing clusters of various industrial plants.The ΣTEQ concentrations of ΣPCDD/ΣPCDFs ranged from 44.2 to 394.1 fg I-TEQ/m 3 with an average of 169.9 fg I-TEQ/m 3.2,3,4,7,8-PeCDF was the dominant contributor to TEQ,contributing 41% (12% to 55%),while 1,2,3,4,6,7,8-HpCDF,OCDD and OCDF were the major congeners for the total concentrations.The ratios of PCDF/PCDD reached 2.54 on average,suggesting that de novo synthesis in thermal processes played an important role to the airborne pollution of PCDD/PCDFs.The similarities congener profiles indicated that TSP and PM 10 active sampling methods are comparable for the determination of the PCDD/PCDFs in ambient air,and the ratios of concentrations determined by the two methods suggested that the PCDD/PCDFs tended to stay in fine particles.It was found that 2,3,7,8-TCDF and OCDD were the dominating congeners in the passive PUF disks samples.Through principal components analysis,the coke industry was suggested to be a relatively high potential emission source for PCDD/PCDFs in the ambient air of Tangshan,which was possibly formed by de novo synthesis mechanism.In this study,the atmospheric impacts to the environment from different industrial sources could be ranked as follows (from high to low):coking,iron sintering,steel making,power generation and chlorinate alkali chemical production industries. | Zhiyuan Ren Bing Zhang Pu Lu Cheng Li Lirong Gao Minghui Zheng | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,2: | 8 |

| 10 | Tailoring the mechanical anisotropy of sintered NdFeB magnets by Pr-Cu grain boundary reconstruction显示文摘Pr_(83)Cu_(17)(wt%) grain boundary reconstruction was applied to prepare sintered NdFeB magnets. The effects of addition amount and annealing on the bending strength were investigated. The results show that Pr_(83)Cu_(17) can not only effectively enhance the bending strength, but also change the mechanical anisotropy in two directions parallel and perpendicular to c-axis. The bending strength perpendicular to c-axis reaches 404 MPa in 10 wt% addition magnet, higher than 348 MPa along parallel direction. This change is attributed to the preferred distribution of boundary phases, i.e., ductile(Nd,Pr)-Fe-Cu phase along perpendicular direction to c-axis and(Nd,Pr)-Fe phase along parallel direction. | 11 | Isorhapontigenin protects against doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity via increasing YAP1 expression显示文摘As an effective anticancer drug, the clinical limitation of doxorubicin(Dox) is the time-and dose-dependent cardiotoxicity. Yes-associated protein 1(YAP1) interacts with transcription factor TEA domain 1(TEAD1) and plays an important role in cell proliferation and survival. However, the role of YAP1 in Dox-induced cardiomyopathy has not been reported. In this study, the expression of YAP1 was reduced in clinical human failing hearts with dilated cardiomyopathy and Dox-induced in vivo and in vitro cardiotoxic model. Ectopic expression of Yap1 significantly blocked Dox-induced cardiomyocytes apoptosis in TEAD1 dependent manner. Isorhapontigenin(Isor) is a new derivative of stilbene and responsible for a wide range of biological processes. Here, we found that Isor effectively relieved Doxinduced cardiomyocytes apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner in vitro. Administration with Isor(30 mg/kg/day, intraperitoneally, 3 weeks) significantly protected against Dox-induced cardiotoxicity in mice. Interestingly, Isor increased Dox-caused repression in YAP1 and the expression of its target genes in vivo and in vitro. Knockout or inhibition of Yap1 blocked the protective effects of Isor on Dox-induced cardiotoxicity. | 13 | STUDY ON TYPHOON DISASTER LOSS AND RISK PREDICTION AND BENEFIT ASSESSMENT OF DISASTER PREVENTION AND MITIGATION显示文摘Based on the meteorological monitoring data of Typhoon Nesat and Haitang in Fujian Province in 2017, the data of the typhoon disaster situation and third-party evaluation of typhoon disaster prevention and mitigation benefit were investigated. By using the mean value anomaly estimation method in the similarity analysis method, it is estimated that typhoon Nesat and Haitang will cause direct economic losses of 0.8 ~ 1.8 billion yuan, and the typhoon disaster risk index evaluation model is used. The disaster risk pre-assessment of Typhoon Nesat and Haitang is carried out. The results of the study and analysis show that the pre-assessment results of Typhoon Nesat and Haitang are basically consistent with the actual disaster situation. The disaster loss was reduced to the minimum. According to the third party evaluation and investigation, it was concluded that the contribution rate of reducing economic benefits was 75% in Fujian Province for preventing and landing double typhoons Nesat and Haitang. First, an approximate model is developed to represent the forging process of this complex HPM around the low-velocity working point. Under guaranteeing the modeling performance, the model may greatly ease the complexity of the subsequent estimation of the dynamic response because it has a good linear structure. On this basis, the dynamic response is estimated and the conditions for stability, vibration, and creep are derived according to the solution of the velocity. All these analytical results are further verified by both simulations and experiment. In the simulation verification for modeling, the original movement model and the derived approximate model always have the same dynamic responses with very small approximate error. The simulations and experiment finally demonstrate and test the effectiveness of the derived conditions for stability, vibration, and creep, and these conditions will benefit both the prediction of the dynamic response of the forging process and the design of the controller for the high-quality forging. | 20 | Arabidopsis immune-associated nucleotide-binding genes repress heat tolerance at the reproductive stage by inhibiting the unfolded protein response and promoting cell death显示文摘Plants are vulnerable to heat stress,especially during reproductive development.The heat shock response(HSR)in the cytosol and nucleus,as well as the unfolded protein response(UPR)in the endoplasmic reticulum(ER),are two mechanisms that enable plants to survive heat stress.Excessive heat or ER stresses lead to cell death when the UPR cannot repair stress damage,but the means by which cell survival or death is determined remains unclear.In this study,we used a genome-wide association study(GWAS)to identify that a cluster of five Immune-associated nucleotide-binding protein(IAN)genes(IAN2 to IAN6)is responsible for variation in heat tolerance at the reproductive stage in Arabidopsis thaliana.These IAN genes have both unique and overlapping functions in the negative regulation of heat tolerance,and their loss of function singly or in combination confers increased heat tolerance,measured by a lower number of barren siliques and a higher seedling survival rate under heat.The loss of rice IAN1 gene function also leads to enhanced heat tolerance,suggesting a conserved function of plant IANs.Transcriptome analysis revealed enhanced expression of HSR and UPR genes,as well as reduced cell death,under heat and ER stress in the mutant of IAN6,a major effect member in Arabidopsis.Furthermore,the IAN proteins were found to promote cell death induced by heat stress,ER stress,and cell death-inducing molecules.Thus,the Arabidopsis IAN genes repress heat tolerance,probably through the HSR and UPR and by enhancing the cell death pathway.The IAN2 to IAN6 proteins are partially localized to the ER,suggesting a direct role in the UPR and UPR-mediated cell death.In addition,a natural IAN6 variant from more heat-tolerant Arabidopsis accessions confers greater heat tolerance and induces less cell death compared with the natural variant from less heat-tolerant accessions.The heat-tolerant IAN6 variant is associated with a higher maximum temperature of the warmest month at its collection sites compared with the heat-sensitive variant.Taken together,these results reveal an important role of Arabidopsis IAN2 to IAN6 genes in the regulation of the HSR,UPR,and cell death,and suggest that their natural variations have adaptive functions in heat tolerance. | Shan Lu Tianquan Zhu Zhixue Wang Lilin Luo Shuai Wang Minghui Lu Yongmei Cui Baohong Zou Jian Hua | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,2: | 2 |
