| 1 | Clinical features and management of primary sclerosing cholangitis显示文摘Primary sclerosing cholangitis is a chronic cholestatic liver disease characterized by inflammation and fibrosis of the bile ducts,resulting in cirrhosis and need for liver transplantation and reduced life expectancy.The majority of cases occur in young and middle-aged men,often in association with inflammatory bowel disease.The etiology of primary sclerosing cholangitis includes immune-mediated components and elements of undefined nature.No effective medical therapy has been identified.The multiple complications of primary sclerosing cholangitis include metabolic bone disease,dominant strictures,bacterial cholangitis,and malignancy,particularly cholangiocarcinoma,which is the most lethal complication of primary sclerosing cholangitis.Liver transplantation is currently the only life-extending therapeutic alternative for patients with end-stage disease,although recurrence in the allografted liver has been described.A PSC-like variant attracting attention is cholangitis marked by raised levels of the immunoglobulin G4 subclass,prominence of plasma cells within the lesions,and steroid responsiveness. | Marina G Silveira Keith D Lindor | 2008 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2008，14，21： | 9 |

| 3 | The presence of ANP in rat peritoneal mast cells显示文摘Atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) is an important component of the natriuretic peptide system. A great role in many regulatory systems is played by mast cells. Meanwhile involvement of these cells in ANP activity is poorly studied. In this work, we have shown the presence of ANP in rat peritoneal mast cells. Pure fraction of mast cells was obtained by separation of rat peritoneal cells on a Percoll density gradient. By Western blotting, two ANP-immunoreactive proteins of molecular masses of 2.5 kDa and 16.9 kDa were detected in lysates from these mast cells. Electron microscope immunogold labeling has revealed the presence of ANP-immunoreactive material in storage, secreting and released granules of mast cells. Our findings indicate the rat peritoneal mast cells to contain both ANP prohormone and ANP. These both peptides are located in mast cell secretory granules and released by mechanism of degranulation. | 5 | Autophagy is increased in cryptorchid testis resulting in abnormal spermatozoa显示文摘Autophagy is invoIved in spermatogenesis by regulating germ cell maturation.This catabolic process increases with hyperthermic conditions to prevent the accumulation of damaged organelles.Cryptorchidism is associated with impairment of germ cell maturation revealed by the presence of immature forms of sperm cells in ejaculates.The aim of the present study was to evaluate the status of autophagy in sperm cells from cryptorchid patients.Semen samples of cryptorchid patients and normozoospermic controls were analyzed by immuno cytochemistry and electron microscopy.Autophagy protei ns,autophagy-related protein 9(ATG9)and microtubule-associated protein,lA/lB-light chain 3(LC3)were localized by immunocytochemistry on the acrosome and on the equatorial segment of sperm cells.LC3 was also detected in the midpiece of cryptorchid sperm tail.Autophagy substrate p62 protein was present in the acrosome and in the postequatorial segment of sperm in control samples,but not in the cryptorchid ones.Transmission electron microscopy revealed double-membrane-limited autophagosomes in postequatorial part of spermatozoa head and midpiece in cryptorchid samples.Partly degraded mitochondria were frequently discerned in autophagic vacuoles.In conclusion,autophagy is increased in sperm cells from patients with cryptorchid history comparatively to control.Our work provides insights into the role of autophagy in the maturation and survival of human male gametes in pathological conditions.Thus,regulating autophagy could represent a potential way to improve sperm quality in cryptorchid men. | Marina G Yefimova Antoine Buschiazzo Agnes Burel Marie-Therese Lavault Celine Pimentel Guilhem Jouve Sylvie Jaillard Bernard Jegou Nicolas Bourmeyster Celia Ravel | 2019 | Asian Journal of Andrology2019，21，6： | 2 |
