4Amphibians and Reptiles of Luzon Island,Philippines,VI: The Herpetofauna of the Subic Bay Area显示文摘We present detailed species accounts for 55 species of amphibians and reptiles(14 species of frogs,24 snakes,16 lizards,one turtle) from 24 localities in the vicinity of Subic Bay,southern Zambales Province,Luzon Island,Philippines. Although we note numerous species that are conspicuously absent in Subic Bay(and which we expect will eventually be recorded in the region),our many new records plus a summary of the available historical museum specimen data depict a diverse subset of species diversity known from the southern Zambales Mountains of southwestern Luzon. We compare our data to several other recent herpetofunal surveys from Luzon,discuss biogeographic regionalism of this complex island,and report on numerous new natural history observations for many included species. 5Peripheral nerve lengthening as a regenerative strategy显示文摘Peripheral nerve injury impairs motor, sensory, and autonomic function, incurring substantial financial costs and diminished quality of life. For large nerve gaps, proximal lesions, or chronic nerve injury, the prognosis for recovery is particularly poor, even with autografts, the current gold standard for treating small to moderate nerve gaps. In vivo elongation of intact proximal stumps towards the injured distal stumps of severed peripheral nerves may offer a promising new strategy to treat nerve injury. 6Amphibians and Reptiles of Luzon Island,V:The Herpetofauna of Angat Dam Watershed,Bulacan Province,Luzon Island,Philippines显示文摘We report amphibian and reptile distribution records based on recent biodiversity surveys conducted at the Angat Watershed Reservation,Bulacan Province,Luzon Island,Philippines.This watershed constitutes the principal water source for Manila,the Philippines’largest metropolitan area.As virtually nothing is known of the herpetological diversity of the immediate area and the surrounding Bulacan Province,all species recorded as part of our surveys constitute major geographical records and/or significant range extensions.Our data result in a total of 63 new records of amphibian(19 frogs)and reptile(22 lizards,2 turtles,and 20 snakes)species for this protected area(and immediate vicinity)that serves as a watershed for the major metropolitan area of Manila and surrounding cities.Together with the few previous literature records,our new records bring the total number of amphibian and reptile species for Bulacan Province to 68.We discuss several strategies for future survey work(focusing on habitat type,seasonal variation,and elevational variability)that we anticipate will result in increased knowledge of diversity within the Angat Watershed Reserve.The impressive level of herpetological diversity within such a small area,so close to Metro Manila,emphasizes that the diversity and distribution patterns of amphibians and reptiles from Luzon are still poorly known and in need of further study.David S.MCLEOD Cameron D.SILER Arvin C.DIESMOS Mae L.DIESMOS Vhon S.GARCIA Angela O.ARKONCEO Kelvin L.BALAQUIT Charlene C.UY Mariden M.VILLASERAN Earle C.YARRA Rafe M.BROWN 2011Asian Herpetological Research2011,2,4:4

9Efficient fully blade-coated perovskite solar cells in air with nanometer-thick bathocuproine buffer layer显示文摘Fully printed perovskite solar cells(PSCs)were fabricated in air with all constituent layers,except for electrodes,deposited by the blade coating technique.The PSCs incorporated,for the first time,a nanometer-thick printed bathocuproine(BCP)hole blocking buffer using blade coating and deposited at relative humidity up to 50%.The PSCs with a p-i-n structure(glass/indium tin oxide(ITO)/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)polystyrene sulfonate(PEDOT:PSS)/CH_(3)NH_(3)Pbl_(3)/[6,6]-phenyl-C_(61)-butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM)/BCP/Ag)delivered a maximum power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 14.9%on an active area of 0.5 cm^(2)when measured under standard test conditions.The PSCs with a blade coated BCP delivered performance of 10%and 63%higher(in relative terms)than those incorporating a spin coated BCP or without any BCP film,respectively.The atomic force microscopy(AFM)showed that blade coated films were more homogeneous and acted also as a surface planarizer leading to a reduction of roughness which improved BCP/Ag interface lowering charge recombination.The demonstration of 15%efficient devices with all constituent layers,including nanometer-thick BCP(〜10 nm),deposited by blade coating in air,demonstrates a route for industrialization of this technology.Sergio Castro-Hermosa Luana Wouk Izabela Silva Bicalho Luiza de Queiroz Correa Bas de Jong Lucio Cina Thomas M.Brown Diego Bagnis 2021Nano Research2021,14,4:2
