| 1 | A syntactic path-based hybrid neural network for negation scope detection显示文摘The automatic detection of negation is a crucial task in a wide-range of natural language processing(NLP)applications,including medical data mining,relation extraction,question answering,and sentiment analysis.In this paper,we present a syntactic path-based hybrid neural network architecture,a novel approach to identify the scope of negation in a sentence.Our hybrid architecture has the particularity to capture salient information to determine whether a token is in the scope or not,without relying on any human intervention.This approach combines a bidirectional long shortterm memory(Bi-LSTM)network and a convolutional neural network(CNN).The CNN model captures relevant syntactic features between the token and the cue within the shortest syntactic path in both constituency and dependency parse trees.The Bi-LSTM learns the context representation along the sentence in both forward and backward directions.We evaluate our model on the Bioscope corpus,and get 90.82%F-score(78.31%PCS)on the abstract sub-corpus,outperforming features-dependent approaches. | Lydia LAZIB Bing QIN Yanyan ZHAO Weinan ZHANG Ting LIU | 2020 | Frontiers of Computer Science2020，14，1： | 2 |

| 8 | Genome-Wide Linkage and Positional Association Analyses Identify Associations of Novel AFF3 and NTM Genes with Triglycerides:The GenSalt Study显示文摘We conducted a genome-wide linkage scan and positional association study to identify genes and variants influencing blood lipid levels among participants of the Genetic Epidemiology Network of Salt-Sensitivity(Gen Salt) study. The Gen Salt study was conducted among1906 participants from 633 Han Chinese families. Lipids were measured from overnight fasting blood samples using standard methods.Multipoint quantitative trait genome-wide linkage scans were performed on the high-density lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein, and logtransformed triglyceride phenotypes. Using dense panels of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs), single-marker and gene-based association analyses were conducted to follow-up on promising linkage signals. Additive associations between each SNP and lipid phenotypes were tested using mixed linear regression models. Gene-based analyses were performed by combining P-values from singlemarker analyses within each gene using the truncated product method(TPM). Significant associations were assessed for replication among777 Asian participants of the Multi-ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis(MESA). Bonferroni correction was used to adjust for multiple testing.In the Gen Salt study, suggestive linkage signals were identified at 2p11.2-2q12.1 [maximum multipoint LOD score(MML)=2.18 at2q11.2] and 11q24.3-11q25(MML=2.29 at 11q25) for the log-transformed triglyceride phenotype. Follow-up analyses of these two regions revealed gene-based associations of charged multivesicular body protein 3(CHMP3), ring finger protein 103(RNF103),AF4/FMR2 family, member 3(AFF3), and neurotrimin(NTM) with triglycerides(P=4 10 4, 1.00 10 5, 2.00 10 5, and1.00 10 7, respectively). Both the AFF3 and NTM triglyceride associations were replicated among MESA study participants(P=1.00 10 7and 8.00 10 5, respectively). Furthermore, NTM explained the linkage signal on chromosome 11. | 18 | The impact of body weight trajectory from childhood on chronic inflammation in adulthood: The Bogalusa Heart Study显示文摘Importance:The impact of long-term burden of excessive body weight,beginning in childhood,on inflammatory status in adulthood has been poorly described.Objective:To characterize the longitudinal body mass index(BMI)trajectory from childhood and examine its relationship with inflammatory status in adulthood.Methods:We included 1285 adults who had 4-15 repeat measurements of BMI from childhood to adulthood.The area under the curve(AUC)of growth curves was calculated to characterize long-term burden(total AUC)and trends(incremental AUC)of BMI.Results:After adjusting for covariates,higher values of BMI in terms of childhood and adulthood,as well as total and incremental AUC,were strongly associated with elevated levels of adult C-reactive protein(CRP)in the four race-sex groups.There were significant differences in linear and nonlinear curve parameters between the normal and high CRP groups for all race-sex groups(P<0.01).Compared with participants who had consistently low BMI in both childhood and adulthood,participants with high BMI in adulthood had higher CRP levels(P<0.001),irrespective of their childhood BMI status;participants with high BMI in childhood but low BMI in adulthood had similar adult CRP levels.Interpretation:The impact of excessive body weight on inflammation is cumulative and exacerbated over time.The influence of childhood overweight/obesity on inflammatory status in adulthood can be alleviated by reducing adiposity in adulthood. | Yinkun Yan Shengxu Li Yang Liu Lydia Bazzano Jiang He Jie Mi Wei Chen | 2021 | Pediatric Investigation2021，5，1： | 0 |
