| 1 | Pore structure of new composite adsorbent SiO2·xH2O·yCaCl2 with high uptake of water from air显示文摘A new composite adsorbent SiO2@xH2O@yCaCl2 which is composed of macro-porous silica gel and calcium chloride is introduced. In order to analyze its adsorption theory, adsorption and desorption isotherms, BET surface areas, pore volumes and average pore diameters of macro-porous silica gel and four composite adsorbent samples with different CaCl2 content are measured using SEM and Asap2010 apparatus. From the adsorption isotherms, desorption isotherms and lag loops, it can be deduced that the main pore structure in macro-porous silica gel and the new composite adsorbent have two shapes: taper with one top open and taper or hyperbolic taper with both ends open. Based on the analysis of pore diameter distribution and lag loop, a sketch map showing calcium chloride filled in pore of macro-porous silica gel is presented. The adsorption isotherms at 25℃ are measured. Experimental results show that the new composite adsorbent can adsorb more water than common adsorbents (macro-porous silica gel, micro-porous silica gel and synthetic zeolite 13X). | 9 | Synchronous Synthesis and Immobilization of Metal Phthalocyanine for Aerobic Oxidation of Styrene显示文摘In this study,the precursor 4-(4-carboxy-phenoxy)phthalonitrile(CPPN)was first bonded onto the silica gel surface modified with poly(glycidyl methacrylate)(PGMA)(PGMA/SiO2)to prepare CPPN-PGMA/SiO2,and metal phthalocyanine(MPc;M=Co,Fe,Cu,Mn)was supported on the PGMA/SiO2 surface to prepare MPc-PGMA/SiO2 by synchronous synthesis and immobilization with phthalonitrile and metal salt in the solution.The chemical composition and surface morphology were characterized by the Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,UV-Vis spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and thermogravimetry analysis(TGA).The catalytic performance of MPc-PGMA/SiO2 in epoxidation of styrene was also investigated with molecular oxygen acting as the oxidant.The results show that MPc-PGMA/SiO2 can efficiently and selectively catalyze molecular oxygen for oxidation of styrene to styrene oxide under mild conditions.However,the catalytic activity differs substantially depending on the central metal,and a highest catalytic activity is achieved by CoPc-PGMA/SiO2.The CoPc-PGMA/SiO2 amount and temperature can also affect the catalytic oxidation of styrene,and at normal atmospheric pressure,a maximum conversion rate of styrene(99%)and selectivity of styrene oxide(53%)are obtained using 0.1 g of CoPc-PGMA/SiO2(22.61μmol of CoPc)at 100℃ for 6 h.CoPc-PGMA/SiO2 also has excellent reusability,and the conversion rate of styrene is still over 90%after 5 cycles. | Liu Yefeng LüYing Li Zeyu Shen Yue Wang Ruixin | 2020 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,4: | 1 |

| 13 | Heterostructured NiS_(2)@SnS_(2) hollow spheres as superior high-rate and durable anodes for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Tin-based sulfides have attracted increasing attention as anodes for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) owing to their high theoretical capacity;however, the poor rate capability and inferior cycling stability caused by the low electrical conductivity, sluggish kinetics and drastic volume variations during cycling have greatly hampered their practical applications. Herein, heterostructured NiS_(2)@SnS_(2) hybrid spheres were delicately designed and constructed by anchoring interconnected SnS_(2) nanosheets on metalorganic frameworks(MOFs)-derived Ni S_(2) hollow spheres coupled with N-doped carbon skeleton through facile solvothermal and sulfurization/carbonization processes. The unique hollow heterostructure with highly conductive carbon matrix can effectively facilitate the charge transfer kinetics and ensure the desired buffer space while endowing more active sites and enhanced structural integrity, as demonstrated by the experimental and density functional theory(DFT) results. Benefitting from these merits, the NiS_(2)@SnS_(2) hybrid composite displays a high reversible capacity of 820 m Ah g^(-1) after 250 cycles at 1 A g^(-1), and retains a value of 673 m Ah g^(-1)after 1,300 cycles at 5 A g^(-1), manifesting the excellent high-rate and durable sodium storage behaviors when applied in SIBs. | 15 | Improvement of Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Rapid Cooling Friction Stir-welded A1050 Pure Aluminum显示文摘Two-mm thick A1050 pure aluminum plates were successfully joined by conventional and rapid cooling friction stir welding(FSW), respectively. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the welded joints were investigated by electron backscatter diffraction characterization, Vickers hardness measurements, and tensile testing. The results showed that liquid CO_(2) coolant significantly reduced the peak temperature and increased the cooling rate, so the rapidly cooled FSW joint exhibited fine grains with a large number of dislocations. The grain refinement mechanism of the FSW A1050 pure aluminum joint was primarily attributed to the combined effects of continuous dynamic recrystallization, grain subdivision, and geometric dynamic recrystallization. Compared with conventional FSW, the yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, and fracture elongation of rapidly cooled FSW joint were significantly enhanced, and the welding efficiency was increased from 80% to 93%. The enhanced mechanical properties and improved synergy of strength and ductility were obtained due to the increased dislocation density and remarkable grain refinement. | 16 | Short-wavelength light induces broiler’s behavioral and physiological syndrome through a misaligned eating rhythm显示文摘Previous work shows that long-wavelength light has a robust circadian rhythmic pattern in the expression of clock genes of chickens,whereas short-wavelength light leads to an arrhythmic oscillation of some clock genes(e.g.,cClock,cCry1,cCry2,cPer2,and cPer3).However,knowledge about the consequences of LED lights on the physiological and behavioral phenotype was still not clear.This experiment hypothesize that short-wavelength light disturbs chicken’s eating rhythm and leads to a wrong time to eat,resulting in metabolic syndrome.“Meihuang”broilers were housed in monochromatic LED blue light,green light,yellow light,red light,or white light with a very low dose(15 lx).Multiply physiological parameters were measured and the 24-h eating behavior was determined.The effects of LED light on physiological status and behavioral phenotype showed a wavelength-dependent manner.Short-wavelength light significantly decreased the level of total triglycerides and total cholesterol but increased triiodothyronine concentration.Inversely,long-wavelength light increased the triglycerides and total cholesterol and reduced the level of triiodothyronine.Further,it was found that short-wavelength light significantly boosted body weight compared with long-wavelength light,despite equivalent levels of food intake.Short-wavelength light induced 23.4%and 14.1%of food consumption during subjective nights,but long-wavelength light did not.These results imply that when chickens eat mattered,not just what they eat.Thus,low as 15 lx of blue light exposure during the typical dark period is sufficient to leads an individual to eat at“wrong”time,causing metabolic dysfunction. | Yefeng Yang Qiong Liu Shouyi Wang Li Zeng Chenghao Pan Ahmed Jado Yasser Elhadidi Kai Liu Jinming Pan | 2022 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,3: | 0 |
