| 1 | An investigation on tether-tugging de-orbit of defunct geostationary satellites显示文摘In recent years,defunct satellites mitigation in the geostationary orbit(GEO) has become a hot issue in the space field.How to transfer defunct geostationary satellites to the graveyard orbit safely,economically and efficiently presents new challenges to spacecraft dynamics and control.This paper conducts an in-depth investigation on tether-tugging de-orbit issues of defunct geostationary satellites.Firstly,a four-phase tether-tugging de-orbit scheme including acceleration,equilibrium,rotation and return is proposed.This scheme takes into consideration how to avoid the risks of tether ripping,tug-target collision,and tether twist,and how to achieve the mission objective of fuel saving.Secondly,the dynamics model of the tether combination system is established based on Lagrange equation,and the four phases of tether-tugging de-orbit scheme are simulated respectively.Simulation results indicate that the scheme is theoretically feasible and satisfies the design objectives of safety,economy and efficiency,providing a technical approach for engineering application. | LIU HaiTao YANG LePing ZHANG QingBin ZHU YanWei | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,7: | 18 |

| 4 | Coastal seafloor observatory at Xiaoqushan in the East China Sea显示文摘The seafloor observation system is becoming an important infrastructure for marine research because it is transforming oceanic research from temporal investigation to long term observation.The East China Sea coastal seafloor observatory,located between 30°31′44″N,122°15′12″E and 30°31′34″N,122°14′40″E,is constructed near the Xiaoqushan Island outside the Hangzhou Bay on the inner continental shelf of the East China Sea.The observatory is connected by a submarine optical fiber composite power cable that is more than one kilometer long and consists of a special junction box that transmits power and communication signals to different instruments.The special junction box has a variety of waterproof plugs and connects to three different instruments installed in a trawl preventer.The submarine optical fiber composite power cable is landed on the platform by The East China Sea Branch,State Oceanic Administration and the power is continuously supplied by the solar panels and solar battery on the top of the platform.The real time data are directly sent through the cable to the platform and are transmitted by CDMA wireless to the receiver at the State Key Laboratory of Marine Geology of Tongji University.Measurements at the observatory have been taken since April 20,2009 after installation and the results have been interpreted.The characteristics of the near bottom boundary are constrained by a sediment suspension model using portion of the observed data.In particular,discussion is provided on the sea surface height anomaly at Xiaoqushan Island influenced by the tsunami driven by the 2010 Earthquake in Chile.The successful establishment of the coastal seafloor observatory is the first step toward future development of seafloor observation systems in China.It not only accumulates experiences in technology and engineering,but also paves the way for performing important oceanic research using the long term continuous observation platform. | XU HuiPing ZHANG YanWei XU ChangWei LI JianRu LIU Ding QIN RuFu LUO ShenQian FAN DaiDu | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,26: | 10 |
| 5 | Constitutive model for methane desorption and diffusion based on pore structure differences between soft and hard coal显示文摘This paper aims to improve the accuracy and applicability of gas diffusion mathematical models from coal particles. Firstly, a new constitutive model for gas diffusion from coal particles with tri-disperse pore structure is constructed by considering the difference in characteristics between soft coal and hard coal.The analytical solution is then derived, that is, the quantitative relationship between gas diffusion rate(Qt/Q_∞) and diffusion time(t), The pore structure parameters of soft coal and hard coal from Juji coal mine are determined. Gas diffusion rules are numerically calculated and investigated by physical simulation methods. Lastly, the applicability of this model is verified. The results show that the homogeneous model only applies to the gas diffusion process of hard coal during the initial 10 min. Themicrographic observations of the cross-section perpendicular to the interface were obtained using a scanning electronmicroscope with a dedicated energy dispersive spectrometer (SEM/EDS). The results showed that firstly TiAl alloyspreads on the ceramic surface, and then infiltrates into the pores between ceramic particles accompanied by a chemicalreaction. | 9 | A rapid and accurate direct measurement method of underground coal seam gas content based on dynamic diffusion theory显示文摘Coal seam gas content is frequently measured in quantity during underground coal mining operation and coalbed methane(CBM)exploration as a significant basic parameter.Due to the calculation error of lost gas and residual gas in the direct method,the efficiency and accuracy of the current methods are not inadequate to the large area multi-point measurement of coal seam gas content.This paper firstly deduces a simplified theoretical dynamic model for calculating lost gas based on gas dynamic diffusion theory.Secondly,the effects of various factors on gas dynamic diffusion from coal particle are experimentally studied.And sampling procedure of representative coal particle is improved.Thirdly,a new estimation method of residual gas content based on excess adsorption and competitive adsorption theory is proposed.The results showed that the maximum error of calculating the losing gas content by using the new simplified model is only 4%.Considering the influence of particle size on gas diffusion law,the particle size of the collected coal sample is below 0.25 mm,which improves the measurement speed and reflects the safety representativeness of the sample.The determination time of gas content reduced from 36 to 3 h/piece.Moreover,the absolute error is 0.15–0.50 m^3/t,and the relative error is within 5%.A new engineering method for determining the coal seam gas content is developed according to the above research. | Yanwei Liu Yang Du Zhiqiang Li Fajun Zhao Weiqin Zuo Jianping Wei Hani Mitri | 2020 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020,30,6: | 6 |
| 10 | Optimized design and performance evaluation of an electric cup-chain potato metering device显示文摘The cup-chain metering device is commonly used in potato planters despite its problems of missing-seeding,double-seeding and ground wheel sliding.A mechanical-electrical design was developed for planters to resolve these problems.A regression experiment was conducted with three factors(chain speed,chain tightening distance and cup tilting)and two indicators(missing-seeding rate and double-seeding rate).Based on the results of regression experiment,a numerical regression model was built and a multi-objective optimization method was used to get an optimal solution.Subsequently,the optimized device was tested in the field.The device design presents a tilting seed cup with a guard plate and an electric control system.The laboratory test showed that the missing-seeding rate increased with the chain speed.It initially decreases and then increases with the chain tightening distance and cup tilting angle.The double-seeding rate declines with chain speed.It increases initially and declines afterward with the chain tightening distance.The optimization resulted in a missing-seeding rate of 4.39%and a double-seeding rate of 8.78%under the parameters of 0.32 m/s seeding speed,0.94×10-3 m tightening distance,and 12.5°cup tilting angle.The field test demonstrated that electric control instead of ground wheel-driven chain enables fast seeding and precise intra-row seeding distance. | Niu Kang Fang Xianfa Liu Yangchun Lü Chengxu Yuan Yanwei | 2017 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,2: | 5 |
| 11 | Structural evolution and superconductivity tuned by valence electron concentration in the Nb-Mo-Re-Ru-Rh high-entropy alloys显示文摘The crystal structure and physical properties of Nb_(25)Mo_(5+x)Re_(35)Ru_(25-x)Rh_(10)(0≤x≤10)and Nb_(5)Mo_(35-y)Re_(15+y)Ru_(35)Rh_(10)(0≤y≤15)high-entropy alloys(HEAs)have been studied by X-ray diffraction,electrical resistivity,magnetic susceptibility,and specific heat measurements.The results show that the former HEAs with valence electron concentration(VEC)values of 6.7-6.9 crystallize in a noncentrosymmetric cubicα-Mn structure,while the latter ones with VEC values of 7.1-7.25 adopt a centrosymmetric hexagonal close-packed(hcp)structure.Despite different structures,both series of HEAs are found to be bulk superconductors with a full energy gap,and the superconducting transition temperature Tc tends to decrease with the increase of VEC.Nevertheless,the Tc values of the hcp-type HEAs are higher than those of theα-Mn-type ones,likely due to a stronger electron phonon coupling.Furthermore,we show that VEC and electronegativity difference are two key parameters to control the stability ofα-Mn and hcp-type HEAs.These results not only are helpful for the design of such HEAs,but also represent the first realization of structurally different HEA superconductors without changing the constituent elements. | Bin Liu Jifeng Wu Yanwei Cui Qjnqing Zhu Guorui Xiao Siqi Wu Guang-han Cao Zhi Ren | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,26: | 5 |
| 12 | Literature Review on Wireless Sensing Wi-Fi Signal-Based Recognition of Human Activities显示文摘With the rapid development and wide deployment of wireless technology, Wi-Fi signals have no longer been confined to the Internet as a communication medium. Wi-Fi signals will be modulated again by human actions when propagating indoors, carrying rich human body state information. Therefore, a novel wireless sensing technology is gradually emerging that can realize gesture recognition, human daily activity detection, identification,indoor localization and human body tracking, vital signs detection, imaging, and emotional recognition by extracting effective feature information about human actions from Wi-Fi signals. Researchers mainly use channel state information or frequency modulated carrier wave in their current implementation schemes of wireless sensing technology, called 'Walls have eyes', and these schemes cover radio-frequency technology, signal processing technology, and machine learning. These available wireless sensing systems can be used in many applications such as smart home, medical health care, search-and-rescue, security, and with the high precision and passively device-free through-wall detection function. This paper elaborates the research actuality and summarizes each system structure and the basic principles of various wireless sensing applications in detail. | 13 | A Preliminary Genetic Linkage Map of Sinonovacula constricta(Lamarck, 1818) Based on Microsatellites Derived from RAD Sequencing显示文摘Sinonovacula constricta is one of the important economic aquaculture species in China. In this study, we constructed genetic linkage maps of S. constricta based on 300 microsatellite markers derived from RAD-seq using an F1 full-sib family. The female map contained 204 microsatellites assigned to 22 linkage groups, which covered 1529.5 cM with an average interval of 10.3 cM. The male consisted of 187 microsatellites in 19 linkage groups corresponding to the haploid chromosome number(n(28)19), which spanned 1429.3 cM with an average interval of 8.7 cM. The genome coverage was approximately 83.5% and 81.4%, respectively. An integrated map was constructed according to the common markers in parental linkage groups, which had a total length of 1683.8 cM with an average interval of 7.3 cM. The genome coverage of the integrated map was approximately 86.3%. | 14 | Determination of indices and critical values of gas parameters of the first gas outburst in a coal seam of the Xieqiao Mine显示文摘Based on the important role in mine safety played by parameters of the first gas outburst, we propose a method of combining historic data, theoretical analysis and experimental research for the purpose of critical values of gas parameters of the first gas outburst in a coal seam of the Xieqiao Mine. According to a characteristic analysis and a summary of the rules of coal and gas outbursts in the No.8 coal seam of a Huainan mine, we have investigated their effect on coal and gas outbursts in terms such as ground stress, gas, and coal structure. We have selected gas parameters and determined the critical values of each of the following indices: gas content as 7.7 m 3 /t, tectonic coal as 0.8 m thick, the absolute gas emission as 2 m 3 /min, the rate of change as 0.7 m 3 /min, the gas desorption index of a drilling chip K 1 as 0.26 mL/(g min 1/2 ) and the values of desorption indexes 4h 2 as 200 Pa. | 15 | Methionine deficiency and its hydroxy analogue influence chicken intestinal 3-dimensional organoid development显示文摘Methionine and its hydroxy analogue(MHA)have been shown to benefit mouse intestinal regeneration.The intestinal organoid is a good model that directly reflects the impact of certain nutrients or chemicals on intestinal development.Here,we aimed to establish a chicken intestinal organoid culture method first and then use the model to explore the influence of methionine deficiency and MHA on intestinal organoid development.The results showed that 125-mm cell strainer exhibited the highest efficiency for chicken embryo crypt harvesting.We found that transforming growth factor-b inhibitor(A8301)supplementation promoted enterocyte differentiation at the expense of the proliferation of intestinal stem cells(ISC).The mitogen-activated protein kinase p38 inhibitor(SB202190)promoted intestinal organoid formation and enterocyte differentiation but suppressed the differentiation of enteroendocrine cells,goblet cells and Paneth cells.However,the suppression of enteroendocrine cell and Paneth cell differentiation by SB202190 was alleviated at the presence of A8301.The glycogen synthase kinase 3 inhibitor(CHIR99021),valproic acid(VPA)alone and their combination promoted chicken intestinal organoid formation and enterocyte differentiation at the expense of the expression of Paneth cells and goblet cells.Chicken serum significantly improved organoid formation,especially in the presence of A8301,SB202190,CHIR99021,and VPA,but inhibited the differentiation of Paneth cells and enteroendocrine cells.Chicken serum at a concentration of 0.25%meets the requirement of chicken intestinal organoid development,and the beneficial effect of chicken serum on chicken intestinal organoid culture could not be replaced by fetal bovine serum and insulin-like growth factor-1.Moreover,commercial mouse organoid culture medium supplemented with A8301,SB202190,CHIR99021,VPA,and chicken serum promotes chicken organoid budding.Based on the chicken intestinal organoid model,we found that methionine deficiency mimicked by cycloleucine suppressed organoid formation and organoid size,and this effect was reinforced with increased cycloleucine concentrations.Methionine hydroxy analogue promoted regeneration of ISC but decreased cell differentiation compared with the results obtained with L-methionine.In conclusion,our results provide a potentially excellent guideline for chicken intestinal organoid culture and insights into methionine function in crypt development. | Youli Wang Qihang Hou Yuqin Wu Yanwei Xu Yan Liu Jing Chen Lingling Xu Yuming Guo Shuai Gao Jianmin Yuan | 2022 | Animal Nutrition2022,,1: | 4 |
| 16 | Edema and neuronal apoptosis in the hippocampus and cortex of elderly rats following transient cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘BACKGROUND: Previous studies of cerebral ischemia have used young animals, with an ischemictime greater than 5 minutes (safe time limit). Despite an increased understanding of neuronalapoptosis, it remains uncertain whether brief cerebral ischemic events of 5 minutes or less damagebrain tissue in elderly rodents.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of transient cerebral ischemia (5 minutes)/reperfusion injuryon brain cortical and hippocampal edema, aquaporin-4 (AQP-4) expression, and neuronal apoptosisin aged rats, and to compare ischemic sensitivity between cortex and hippocampus.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A randomized, controlled, animal experiment was performed at theInstitute of Cerebrovascular Disease, Qingdao University Medical School from April 2008 to March2009.MATERIALS: Rabbit anti-AQP-4 polyclonal antibody, TUNEL kit, and SABC immunohistochemistrykit were purchased from Wuhan Boster Bioengineering, China.METHODS: A total of 160 healthy, male, aged 19-21 months, Wistar rats were randomly assignedto 4 groups: sham-surgery, and ischemia 1-, 3-, and 5-minute groups, with 40 rats in each group.The global cerebral ischemia model was established using the Pusinelli four-vessel occlusion, andthe three cerebral ischemia groups were subdivided into reperfusion 12-hour, 1-, 2-, 3-, and 7-daysubgroups, with 8 rats in each subgroup. The sham-surgery group was subjected to exposure of thefirst cervical bilateral alar foramina and bilateral common carotid arteries.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The dry-wet weight assay was used to measure brain water contentand histopathology of the cortex and hippocampus was observed following hematoxylin-eosinstaining. In addition, cortical and hippocampal AQP-4 expression was detected by streptavidin-biotincomplex immunohistochemistry, and neuronal apoptosis was detected by the TUNEL method.RESULTS: There was no significant difference in brain water content or AQP-4 expression in thecortex and hippocampus between ischemia 1- and 3-minute groups and the sham-surgery group orbrain water content or AQP-4 expression in the cortex between ischemia 5-minute group andsham-surgery group (P> 0.05). However, brain water content and AQP-4 expression in thehippocampus after 5 minutes of cerebral ischemia were significantly increased compared with thesham-surgery group (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01 ). Several TUNEL-positive cells were observed in thecortex and hippocampus of the sham-surgery group and ischemia 1-minute group, as well as in thecortex of the ischemia 3-minute group. In addition, the number of apoptotic neurons in thehippocampus of ischemia 3-minute group and in the cortex and hippocampus of ischemia 5-minutegroup was significantly increased (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Neuronal apoptosis was increased after 12hours of ischemia/reperfusion, and it reached a peak by 2 days (P < 0.01).CONCLUSION: Transient cerebral ischemia (5 minutes) resulted in increased hippocampal edema,AQP-4 expression, and neuronal apoptosis.
