1An experiment-library least-squares method on on-line coal element contents analysis显示文摘A new experiment-library least-squares(experiment-LLs) method used in the neutron inelastic-scattering and thermal-capture analysis(NITA) technique for on-line coal analysis was developed,which has significantly decreased the non-linear radiation effects.In this method,sixty samples with preset elemental contents were made,from whose experimental spectra twenty single-element spectrum libraries corresponding to twenty kinds of coal were built using the least-squares method.The spectrum of the unknown sample was analyzed based on these twenty libraries to estimate its element contents.With the initial estimated result,the procedure of developing library and analysis was iterated to build a new library with the closest element contents to the unknown sample.Hence the experiment-LLs method can reduce non-linear radiation effects.The experiment-LLs method was performed on an improved coal analysis system which was equipped with a long-life 14 MeV pulsed-neutron generator,a bulk BGO detector with a temperature controller,a moisture meter and coal-smoothing device.The precisions of this system for ash content,water content,volatile content and calorific value have reached 1.0wt%,0.5wt%,1.0wt%,350 kJ/kg,respectively.WANG HuiDong LU JingBin LU YuPing YANG Dong MA KeYan YANG Kang LIU YuMin CHENG DaoWen 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,11:6
2Abrupt vegetation shifts caused by gradual climate changes in central Asia during the Holocene显示文摘Understanding the response of ecosystems to past climate is critical for evaluating the impacts of future climate changes.A large-scale abrupt shift of vegetation in response to the Holocene gradual climate changes has been well documented for the Sahara-Sahel ecosystem. Whether such a non-linear response is of universal significance remains to be further addressed. Here,we examine the vegetation-climate relationships in central Asia based on a compilation of 38 high-quality pollen records. The results show that the Holocene vegetation experienced two major abrupt shifts, one in the early Holocene(Shift I, establishing shift) and another in the late Holocene(Shift II, collapsing shift), while the mid-Holocene vegetation remained rather stable. The timings of these shifts in different regions are asynchronous, which are not readily linkable with any known abrupt climate shifts,but are highly correlated with the local rainfalls. These new findings suggest that the observed vegetation shifts are attributable to the threshold effects of the orbital-induced gradual climate changes. During the early Holocene, the orbital-induced precipitation increase would have first reached the threshold for vegetation 'establishment' for moister areas, but significantly later for drier areas. In contrast, the orbital-induced precipitation decrease during the late Holocene would have first reached the threshold, and led to the vegetation 'collapse' for drier areas, but delayed for moister areas. The well-known 4.2 kyr BP drought event and human intervention would have also helped the vegetation collapses at some sites. These interpretations are strongly supported by our surface pollen-climate analyses and ecosystem simulations. 4Difference in Tree Growth Responses to Climate at the Upper Treeline: Qilian Juniper in the Anyemaqen Mountains显示文摘Three ring-width chronologies were developed from Qilian Juniper (Sabina przewalskii Kom.) at the upper treeline along a west-east gradient in the Anyemaqen Mountains. Most chronological statistics, except for mean sensitivity (MS), decreased from west to east. The first principal component (PC1) loadings indicated that stands in a similar climate condition were most important to the variability of radial growth. PC2 loadings decreased from west to east, suggesting the difference of tree-growth between eastern and western Anyemaqen Mountains. Correlations between standard chronologies and climatic factors revealed different climatic in?uences on radial growth along a west-east gradient in the study area. Temperature of warm season (July-August) was important to the radial growth at the upper treeline in the whole study area. Precipitation of current May was an important limiting factor of tree growth only in the western (drier) upper treeline, whereas precipitation of current September limited tree growth in the eastern (wetter) upper treeline. Response function analysis results showed that there were regional differences between tree growth and climatic factors in various sampling sites of the whole study area. Temperature and precipitation were the important factors influencing tree growth in western (drier) upper treeline. 8Nickel(Ⅱ) removal from water using silica-based hybrid adsorbents:Fabrication and adsorption kinetics显示文摘A series of novel silica-based hybrid adsorbents were prepared by the crosslinking reaction of N-[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl] ethylene diamine(TMSPEDA) with epichlorohydrin(ECH) via a sol–gel process.Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectra confirmed that the reaction occurred.TGA curves showed that the thermal stability of these hybrid adsorbents reached as high as 180 °C.As a typical example,the adsorption performance of nickel(II) ions onto an adsorbent(the volume ratio of TMSPEDA and ECH was 4:1) was explored.It was found that the adsorption of nickel(II) ions onto this adsorbent followed the Lagergren pseudo-second-order kinetic model.The investigation of the adsorption mechanism demonstrated that nickel(II) adsorption was chiefly controlled by diffusion–chemisorption,suggesting that more diffusion processes were involved in the adsorption of nickel(II) ions onto this type of adsorbents.Desorption experiment indicates that these hybrid adsorbents can be regenerated.These findings reveal that this type of silica-based hybrid adsorbent is promising in the separation and recovery of nickel(II) ions from Ni-containing wastewater or contaminated water.Min Xu Junsheng Liu Keyan Hu Congyong Xu Yaoyao Fang 2016Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2016,24,10:1
9A Thermoregulatory Flexible Phase Change Nonwoven for All‑Season High‑Efficiency Wearable Thermal Management显示文摘Phase change materials have a key role for wearable thermal management,but suffer from poor water vapor permeability,low enthalpy value and weak shape stability caused by liquid phase leakage and intrinsic rigidity of solid–liquid phase change materials.Herein,we report for the first time a versatile strategy for designed assembly of high-enthalpy flexible phase change nonwovens(GB-PCN)by wet-spinning hybrid grapheneboron nitride(GB)fiber and subsequent impregnating paraffins(e.g.,eicosane,octadecane).As a result,our GB-PCN exhibited an unprecedented enthalpy value of 206.0 J g^(−1),excellent thermal reliability and anti-leakage capacity,superb thermal cycling ability of 97.6%after 1000 cycles,and ultrahigh water vapor permeability(close to the cotton),outperforming the reported PCM films and fibers to date.Notably,the wearable thermal management systems based on GB-PCN for both clothing and face mask were demonstrated,which can maintain the human body at a comfortable temperature range for a significantly long time.Therefore,our results demonstrate huge potential of GB-PCN for human-wearable passive thermal management in real scenarios.Hanqing Liu Feng Zhou Xiaoyu Shi Keyan Sun Yan Kou Pratteek Das Yangeng Li Xinyu Zhang Srikanth Mateti Ying Chen Zhong‑Shuai Wu Quan Shi 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,2:1

13Reducing Packing Factor of Znln2S4 to Promote Photocatalytic Activity显示文摘Due to the quite sluggish charge-carrier separation in semiconductor photocatalysts,the photocatalytic ac-tivity of these materials is still far inferior than anticipated.Herein,a novel approach to reducing the packing factor(PF)of Znln2S4 semiconductors to improve the charge-carrier separation is offered.The well-crystallized Zn1-xIn2S4-x(x=0,0.05,0.1)powders were productively prepared through solid-state reactions.Their structures were verified by the high-resolution transmission electron microscopy,powder X-ray diffraction,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The PE values of Zn1-xIn2S4-x(x=0,0.05,0.1)samples were calculated to be 0.683.0.651.and 0.618.respectively.The reduction.of the PF for Zn1-xIn2S4-x with increasing x can promote the separation of photoexcited carriers,and this process was endorsed by their photoelectric response and photoluminescence emission spectra.The Zn0.9In2S3.9 sample with a lower PF value presents roughly 21 times higher photocurrent density and four times higher photodegrading rate of methyl orange than those of pristine ZnIn2S4.HU Keyan XU Zian LIU Yiting HUANG Fuqiang 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,6:0

15Miro2 supplies a platform for Parkin translocation to damaged mitochondria显示文摘PINK1/Parkin-mediated mitophagy is an important process in selective removal of damaged mitochondria, in which translocation of Parkin to damaged mitochondria is recognized as an initiation step. At present, how the damaged mitochondria are selectively recognized and targeted by Parkin is not fully understood. Here we show that Miro2, an outer mitochondrial membrane protein, undergoes demultimerization from a tetramer to a monomer and alteration in mitochondrial localization upon CCCP treatment, suggesting a CCCP-induced realignment of Miro2. The realignment of Miro2 is tightly regulated by PINK1-mediated phosphorylation at Ser325/Ser430 and by Ca^2+binding to EF2 domain, which are both essential for the subsequent Parkin translocation. Interestingly, ablation of Miro2 in mouse causes delayed reticulocyte maturation, lactic acidosis and cardiac disorders. Furthermore, several Miro2 mutations found in the congenital lactic acidosis patients also disable its realignment and Parkin translocation. 16Introducing sulfur vacancies and in-plane SnS_(2)/SnO_(2) heterojunction in SnS_(2) nanosheets to promote photocatalytic activity显示文摘Due to the relatively sluggish charge carrier separation in metal sulfides,the photocatalytic activity of them is still far lower than expected.Herein,sulfur vacancies and in-plane SnS_(2)/SnO_(2) heterojunction were successfully introduced into the SnS_(2) nanosheets through high energy ball-milling.These defective structures were studied by the electron paramagnetic resonance,Raman spectra,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and high-resolution transmission electron microscope analyses.The sulfur vacancies and in-plane heterojunctions strongly accelerate the separation of photoexcited electron-hole pairs,as confirmed by the photo luminesce nce emission spectra and time-resolved photoluminescence decay spectra.The introduction of sulfur vacancies and in-plane heterojunction in SnS_(2) nanosheets results in roughly six times higher photodegrading rate for methyl orange and four times higher photocatalytic reduction rate of Cr6+than those of pure SnS_(2) nanosheets.Keyan Hu Chen Ming Yiting Liu Chong Zheng Shaoning Zhang Dong Wang Wei Zhao Fuqiang Huang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10:0
17Novel Affine Power Flow Method for Improving Accuracy of Interval Power Flow Data in Cyber Physical Systems of Active Distribution Networks显示文摘A large number of load power and power output of distributed generation in an active distribution network(ADN)are uncertain,which causes the classical affine power flow method to encounter problems of interval expansion and low efficiency when applied to an AND.This then leads to errors of interval power flow data sources in the cyber physical system(CPS)of an ADN.In order to improve the accuracy of interval power flow data in the CPS of an ADN,an affine power flow method of an ADN for restraining interval expansion is proposed.Aiming at the expansion of interval results caused by the approximation error of non-affine operations in an affine power flow method,the approximation method of the new noise source coefficient is improved,and it is proved that the improved method is superior to the classical method in restraining interval expansion.To overcome the decrease of computational efficiency caused by new noise sources,a novel merging method of new noise sources in an iterative process is designed.Simulation tests are conducted on an IEEE 33-bus,PG&E 69-bus and an actual 1180-bus system,which proves the validity of the proposed affine power flow method and its advantages in terms of computational efficiency and restraining interval expansion.Chen Lyu Wanxing Sheng Keyan Liu Xinzhou Dong 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,5:0
18A Novel Frequency-changer Control Strategy Based on a Virtual Synchronous Motor显示文摘The use of frequency-changers is widespread in daily electric power generation.If a frequency-changer could automatically adjust its power output according to the load status and power network operation,it would have a positive impact on power system stability.To achieve this a novel control strategy based on virtual synchronous motors(VSM)is proposed in this paper.The frequency-changer consists of two main parts:the rectifier and the inverter.In the rectifier part,a UDC-Q control strategy is adopted to control the DC-link voltage and the reactive power.In the inverter part,a VSM control strategy is used;it includes a power-frequency controller and an excitation controller,and can change the inverter’s output frequency and voltage with the variation of load,can adjust the active power with change of the power system frequency.The proposed control strategy is simulated using Simulink/Matlab.The simulation results show that the proposed control strategy can follow the mechanical inertia and electrical characteristics of the synchronous moto and can effectively improve the system power quality and system stability.Weijie Dong Keyan Liu Chen Lv 2019CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2019,5,2:0
19miRNA-141-5p Affects the Levels of Neutrophil Elastase in Preeclampsia by Regulating MAPK1显示文摘Objective:The objective of this study was to investigate the expression levels of microRNA-141-5p(miRNA-141-5p),MAPK1 and neutrophil elastase in patients with and without preeclampsia(PE),and the relationship between miRNA-141-5p and MAPK1 with respect to the secretion of elastase by neutrophils in patients with PE.Methods:Thirty patients with PE and 30 healthy pregnant(HP)women were recruited from The Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University,Taiyuan,China,between February 2017 and July 2018.Neutrophils were isolated from 8 mL peripheral blood samples and cultured.We recorded neutrophil count and morphology during culture.Apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry in different groups at 0,24,and 48 h.The expression levels of elastase were detected in neutrophils by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,whereas the expression levels of miRNA-141-5p in peripheral blood neutrophils were detected by real-time polymerase chain reaction.We used TargetScanHuman Release 7.2 to analyze the target genes of miRNA-141-5p.The expression of MAPK1 in peripheral blood neutrophils was detected by western blotting.Data were analyzed by SPSS version 21.0 software,and comparisons between groups were carried out with the Studentt test.Results:There was no significant difference between the PE and HP groups(P>0.050)with regard to age or body mass index.The weight of newborns in the PE group(2846.00±600.00 g)was significantly lower than that in the HP group(3055.00±230.68 g).The number of neutrophilic granulocytes(NGs)in blood samples from the PE group was significantly higher than that in the HP group(P=0.003).There was no significant difference between the groups with regard to morphology.Apoptosis in the PE group was delayed when compared with the HP group at different time points.TheP value of apoptosis in the PE and HP groups were respectively 0.790,<0.001 and 0.030 at 0 h,24 h and 48 h.The expression levels of miRNA-141-5p in the PE group were significantly lower than those in the HP group(P<0.050).The expression levels of MAPK1 in neutrophils from the PE group were significantly higher than those in the HP group(P<0.050)by western blot.The expression levels of elastase in neutrophils from the PE group were significantly higher than those in the HP group(P<0.050).Furthermore,the number of NGs in peripheral blood from the PE group was higher than that of the HP group;however,the levels of apoptosis were lower.The expression levels of miRNA-141-5p in NGs decreased,the expression of MAPK1 increased,and the secretion of neutrophil elastase in the NG medium increased in the PE group than those in the HP group.Conclusion:Collectively,our analysis suggested that miRNA-141-5p may be involved in the pathogenesis of PE by regulating the MAPK1 signaling pathway to activate neutrophils and increase the secretion of elastase.Keyan Cheng Jialei Cui Wenli Zhou Huiqiang Liu Taotao Yang Yonghong Wang 2022Maternal-Fetal Medicine2022,4,4:0
20Research on Power Quality Disturbance Signal Classification Based on Random Matrix Theory显示文摘In this paper, a method of power quality disturbance classification based on random matrix theory (RMT) is proposed. The method utilizes the power quality disturbance signal to construct a random matrix. By analyzing the mean spectral radius (MSR) variation of the random matrix, the type and time of occurrence of power quality disturbance are classified. In this paper, the random matrix theory is used to analyze the voltage sag, swell and interrupt perturbation signals to classify the occurrence time, duration of the disturbance signal and thedepth of voltage sag or swell.
