1Development of Chinese characterization factors for land use in life cycle impact assessment显示文摘A model with Chinese characterization factors for quantifying the damages to environment by land use in terms of the change in net primary productivity (NPP) of ecosystem was developed in the framework of life cycle assessment (LCA).In this method,the forms of land utilization were divided into two aspects involving long-term use of land (e.g.,for arable farming),namely 'land occupation',and the change of land properties (e.g.,from agricultural area to urban area),namely 'land transformation'.Furthermore,the land use elementary flows (occupation and transformation) and parameters were linked to the impact indicators,and the characterization formulas of the two forms of land utilization were derived respectively according to the ecological theory.Moreover,based on this method,the characterization factors of both land occupation and land transformation were calculated using Chinese empirical information on NPP,which can be incorporated into LCA framework and applied to Chinese LCA case study to fill up the important gap in life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) of land use.LIU Yu,NIE ZuoRen,SUN BoXue,WANG ZhiHong & GONG XianZheng School of Materials Science and Engineering,Beijing University of Technology,Beijing 100124,China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,6:8
2High power and stable P-doped yolk-shell structured Si@C anode simultaneously enhancing conductivity and Li^(+)diffusion kinetics显示文摘Silicon is a low price and high capacity ancxje material for lithium-ion batteries.The yolk-shell structure can effectively accommodate Si expansion to improve stability.However,the limited rate performance of Si anodes can't meet people's growing demand for high power density.Herein,the phosphorus-doped yolk-shell Si@C materials(P-doped Si@C)were prepared through carbon coating on P-doped Si/SiO_(x)matrix to obtain high power and stable devices.Therefore,the as-prepared P-doped Si@C electrodes delivered a rapid increase in Coulombic efficiency from 74.4%to 99.6%after only 6 cycles,high capacity retention of-95%over 800 cycles at 4 A·g^(-1),and great rate capability(510 mAh·g^(-1)at 35 A·g^(-1)).As a result,P-doped Si@C anodes paired with commercial activated carbon and LiFePO_(4)cathode to assemble lithium-ion capacitor(high power density of〜61,080 W·kg^(-1)at 20 A·g^(-1))and lithium-ion full cell(good rate performance with 68.3 mAh·g^(-1)at 5 C),respectively.This work can provide an effective way tofurther improve power density and stability for energy storage devices.Ming Chen Qinnan Zhou Jiantao Zai Asma Iqbal TsegayeTadesse Tsega Boxu Dong Xuejiao Liu Yuchi Zhang Changyu Yan Liang Zhao Ali Nazakat SharelPeisan E CheeTongJohn Low Xuefeng Qian 2021Nano Research2021,14,4:5
3FTIR Spectroscopy in Cultural Heritage Studies: Non-destructive Analysis of Chinese Handmade Papers显示文摘Chinese handmade papers have been the carriers of paper-based documents, paintings and calligraphies, which are of great importance for historical and cultural heritage studies. This research developed the attenuated total reflectance-Fourier transform infrared(ATR-FTIR) spectroscopic technique for the analysis of Chinese handmade papers. The test was applied to Chinese handmade papers taken from bark, hemp and bamboo groups, followed by papers from ancient books and arts collected in library and museum. Our study indicated tliat FTIR was an efficient analytical method to identify fiber types of library/museum papers of unknown origin. Moreover, information about degree of crystallinity and state of deterioration of cellulosic fibers was learned from FTIR spectra. 4Effects of calcination temperature and Li^+ ions doping on structure and upconversion luminescence properties of TiO_2:Ho^(3+)-Yb^(3+) nanocrystals显示文摘Ho^(3+)-Yb^(3+) co-doped and Ho^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Li^+ tri-doped TiO_2 nanocrystals were prepared using the sol-gel method. Effects of the calcination temperature and Li^+ ions doping on the structure and upconversion luminescence properties of Ho^(3+)-Yb^(3+) co-doped TiO_2 nanocrystals were investigated. The upconversion luminescence of nanocrystals was enhanced with the reduction of the crystal lattice symmetry and the crystallinity improvement of the matrix, which were facilitated by the calcination temperature change and Li^+ ions doping. 8Dynamic formation mechanism of water droplet and induced surface discharges on silicone rubber composites显示文摘Wettability has become one of the most important factors influencing power equipment insulation system in coastal power grid,which can seriously threaten the safety of power grid.This paper aimed at numerical simulation and experimental investigation on dynamic formation mechanism of water droplet and induced surface discharges on silicone rubber composites under different AC voltages,considering the factors of surface tension and droplet volume.Obtained results reveal that the spreading coefficient increases with increasing the electric field intensity from 1 to 5 kV/cm and with increasing the droplet volume from 10 to 50μL.The spreading coefficient shows a decreasing tendency when the surface tension increases from 29.3 to 61.0 mN/m.Moreover,the maximum of surface electric field shows an increasing tendency under the condition of increasing both the droplet volume and the surface tension.On the basis of the physical model of droplet deformation,the electric field force and the surface tension play a significant role in the process of droplet deformation.Meanwhile,the experimental results are consistent with the simulation analysis,reflecting that the droplet deformation and the induced surface discharges mainly depend on two parameters:the droplet volume and the magnitude of applied voltage.Yong Liu Yafeng Wu Boxue Du 2019High Voltage2019,4,1:1

10Evaluation of temperature distribution for bone drilling considering aging factor显示文摘Bone drilling is a routine operation in surgeries,such as neurosurgery and orthopedics.However,the excessive drilling temperature may cause severe thermal damage to the bone tissue.Therefore,the drilling temperature determination of bone tissue can reduce the harm caused by thermal damage.A time-varying temperature field simulation model of bone drilling was set up by ABAQUS software in this paper,based on the Johnson-Cook model.Then it was validated with experiments by drilling cortical bone of fresh bovine shaft of the femur.The relative error between the experimental values and the theoretical values within 7.67%showed a good consistency.Furthermore,the aging factor is also considered to evaluate the temperature field of bone drilling.The results showed that the drilling temperature near the bone-drill area increased significantly.The drilling temperature of cortical bone decreases sharply with the radial distance and exhibits a hysteresis lag in the axial distribution.The aging factor mainly affects the peak of drilling temperature.The peak of drilling temperature tends to increase with age.The peak drilling temperature in the elderly(70y)was up to 6.8%higher than that in the young(20y),indicating that the elderly is more prone to excessive drilling temperature.Therefore,special attention should be paid to the temperature control of elderly bone tissue.Huanxin Wang Xiangsheng Gao Boxu Wang Min Wang Yunan Liu Tao Zan Peng Gao Chaozong Liu 2022Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2022,,4:0
11Impact of the Foucault Current and Its Vibration Noise Reduction on Bracket Features for AMDT显示文摘This manuscript explores the influences of the Foucault current on bracket vibration. Noise measurements are obtained in conditions that the coils are enclosed by the bracket, and exposed to the air for confirming the impact of Foucault current on bracket vibration. The outcomes illustrate that the bracket increases the primary noise to 21 d B. Throughout investigational modal computation, ordinary frequencies of the coils stay afar from the exciting frequency of 100 Hz but the ordinary frequency 72.924 Hz of the bracket stands near to 100 Hz, which similarly explicates the upsurge of the noise level. To do the computations on bracket vibrations instigated by the Foucault current, a finite-element method(FEM) has been utilized for evaluating the eddy current density, electromagnetic forces(EMF), coupled with bracket response in frequency domain. 12Charge transport behavior in gamma‐ray irradiated poly(ethylene terephthalate)estimated by surface potential decay显示文摘This study reports on the variation in charge transport behaviour of poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PET)caused by gamma‐ray irradiation estimated by means of surface potential decay(SPD)measurement.The 100μm‐thick PET specimens were exposed to 60Co gamma rays to a maximum total dose of 1000 kGy.The SPD test was carried out to obtain charge transport related parameters via various models,and the effect of gamma‐ray on the transport behaviour was examined.Furthermore,Fourier trans-form infrared spectrum,gel content,ultraviolet‐visible spectroscopy,X‐ray photo-electron spectroscopy,differential scanning calorimetry and polarized optical microscope were employed to characterize the change in material structure induced by the irradiation.The test results indicated that with the growth in the total dose,the deep trap centre was basically unchanged,whereas the shallow trap centre became shallower.In addition,the trap density tended to decrease.The carrier mobility in PET increased with the total dose,and the charge transport manner conformed well to the hopping model.It is suggested that the formation of oxygen‐based groups from the irradiation induced oxidation reaction tends to encourage the charge transport,while the decrease of amorphous region gives rise to the reduction in trap density.Yu Gao Nan Li Jing Li Boxue Du Ziyang Liu 2021High Voltage2021,6,3:0
13Investigation on Vibration Characteristics of Amorphous Metal Alloy Core Dry-type Distribution Transformer显示文摘Large power transformers have severe vibration and noise problems. Thus, as the source of noise, it is vitally important to have accurate core vibration calculations. The calculation of the vibration is incredibly difficult to consider the complex propagation pathway of the vibration in the clamp and the Amorphous Metal Alloy Core Distribution Transformer(AMACDT). To understand the vibration characteristics of AMACDT, this manuscript provides a different approach on investigation of the vibration characteristics of an SCBH15-200/10 type. Based on the vibration characteristics calculation and displacement of an Amorphous Metal Alloy Core Distribution Transformer(AMACDT), they are obtained and solved using Finite Element Analysis software(FEA). Conferring to the outcomes of the vibration analysis, the method by adding bar-reinforcements on the upper clamp of transformer is proposed to lessen the vibration amplitude. To verify the usefulness and application of the suggested approach, the analytical results are obtained. 14Effects of the annealing temperature on the structure and up-conversion photoluminescence of ZnO film显示文摘The up-conversion film is being tried to increase the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the silicon solar cell. To improve the efficiency of the photoluminescence film, the effects of the annealing temperature were investigated on the structure and photoluminescence of the ZnO up-conversion film, which was prepared using the sol-gel method and the spin-coating technique. The results show that the organic compounds and water in the ZnO film were completely eliminated when the annealing temperature reached 500 ℃. The crystallinity of film is improved and the average grain size continuously increases as increasing the annealing temperature. The transmittance in the wavelength range of 400-2000 nm continuously increases as the annealing temperature increases from 500 ℃ to 700 0 C, whilst it decreases first and then increases as the annealing temperature increases from 800 ℃ to 1000℃. When the film is excited with a laser of 980 nm, there are two intense emission bands in the up-conversion emission spectra, 542-nm green light and 660-nm red light, corresponding to Ho^(3+):~5 S_2/~5 F_4→~5 I_8 and ~5 F_5→~5 I_8 transitions, respectively. In addition, the intensity of up-conversion luminescence for the film increases first and then decreases with the increase of the annealing temperature. 16Dynamic interactive characteristics between icicle growth and corona discharge on HVDC outdoor insulators during icing accretion显示文摘In order to improve the stability and reliability of high voltage direct current(HVDC)transmission lines in cold regions,this article investigated the corona discharges and the icicle growth characteristics on outdoor insulators under DC voltages.The experiments were conducted at CIGELE laboratory at University of Quebec.The simulation model of corona discharges and the theoretical model of icicle growth were established.The dynamic process and interactive characteristics between the icicle growth and corona discharges under different HVDC voltages were obtained.The results showed that the discharge activity was strong and the cooling effect of ionic air was weak under negative DC voltage,resulting in a large number of bubbles inside the icicle.More negative ions were produced under negative DC voltage,which enhanced the polarisation of water droplets,leading to a greater density of ice beads outside the icicles.In addition,the longest icicles of each insulator under high humidity could bridge the shed gap.The accumulated charge and leakage current were higher under negative DC voltage,as well as the corona discharge at the top of the icicles lasted longer.Therefore,the negative DC corona discharge more significantly inhibited the growth of the icicle,resulting in a slower growth rate of the icicles.Yong Liu Chao Li Fanghui Yin Boxue Du Masoud Farzaneh 2023High Voltage2023,8,3:0

18Study on non-uniformity and dynamic fracture characteristics of GIL tri-post insulators considering Al_(2)O_(3) sedimentation显示文摘Tri-post insulators in gas-insulated transmission line(GIL)are usually fabricated with high mass fraction of micron aluminum oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),which will unavoidably settle under the action of gravity during the preparation process and seriously affect the uniformity.A model of filler sedimentation in epoxy resin composite materials was proposed based on the particle size analysis and Stokes'Law.Some scaled tri-post insulators were prepared and tested by slicing.It is determined that the position of density concentration is the lower side of the two lower posts and the upper interface between the insulator and the conductor.The density ranges from 2.144 to 2.346 g/cm^(3).The dynamic fracture simulation model of insulator was established and it is found that the insulator fracture occurs at the interface of upper post/insert under radial load,which is verified by experiments.By comparing the influence of sprue position on the density distribution,it is found that the uniformity of insulators is increased by 13.7% by forward pouring compared with reverse pouring.This research develops an accurate method for simulating the filler sedimentation and the fracture process in epoxy-based insulators,which is helpful for the improvement of mechanical reliability of GIL.Jin Li Songtao Liu Hucheng Liang Liucheng Hao Yaxiang Wang Boxue Du 2023High Voltage2023,8,4:0
19A naturally derived small molecule compound suppresses tumor growth and metastasis in mice by relieving p53-dependent repression of CDK2/Rb signaling and the Snail-driven EMT显示文摘The tumor suppressor protein p53 is central to cancer biology,with its pathway reactivation emerging as a promising therapeutic strategy in oncology.This study introduced LZ22,a novel compound that selectively inhibits the growth,migration,and metastasis of tumor cells expressing wild-type p53,demonstrating ineffectiveness in cells devoid of p53 or those expressing mutant p53.LZ22’s mechanism of action involves a high-affinity interaction with the histidine-96 pocket of the MDM2 protein.This interaction disrupted the MDM2-p53 binding,consequently stabilizing p53 by shielding it from proteasomal degradation.LZ22 impeded cell cycle progression and diminished cell proliferation by reinstating the p53-dependent suppression of the CDK2/Rb signaling pathway.Moreover,LZ22 alleviated the p53-dependent repression of Snail transcription factor expression and its consequent EMT,effectively reducing tumor cell migration and distal metastasis.Importantly,LZ22 administration in tumor-bearing mice did not manifest notable side effects.The findings position LZ22 as a structurally unique reactivator of p53,offering therapeutic promise for the management of human cancers with wild-type TP53.REN Boxue LI Yang DI Lei CHENG Ranran LIU Lijuan LI Hongmei LI Yi TANG Zhangrui YAN Yongming LU Tao FU Rong CHENG Yongxian WU Zhaoqiu 2024Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2024,22,2:0
20Rapid Profiling and Characterization of the Multicomponents from the Root and Rhizome of Salvia miltiorrhiza by Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography/Ion Mobility-Quadrupole Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry in Combination with Computational Peak Annotation Workflows显示文摘Herbal components characterization represents a challenging task because of the co-existing of multiple classes of naturally occurring compounds with wide spans of polarity,molecular mass,and the ubiquitous isomerism.The root and rhizome of Salvia miltiorrhiza have been utilized as a reputable traditional Chinese medicine Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma(Dan-Shen)in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.Herein,a dimensionenhanced ultra-high performance liquid chromatography/ion mobility/quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry approach in combination with intelligent peak annotation workflows was established aimed to rapidly characterize the multicomponents from S.miltiorrhiza.Due to the sufficient optimization,satisfactory chromatography separation was enabled on an HSS T3 column within 33 min using 0.1%formic acid in water(A)and acetonitrile(B)as the mobile phase,while the data-independent HDMS^(E) in both the negative and positive electrospray ionization modes was utilized for the high-coverage MS^(2) data acquisition.Streamlined automatic peak annotation by searching an in-house library(recording 198 known compounds)followed by the subsequent confirming steps(e.g.,comparison with the reference compounds,fragmentation pathways analysis,and retention behavior comparison,etc.),allowed us to identify or tentatively characterize a total of 86 components(including 50 terpenoids,21 phenolic acids,and 15 others)from S.miltiorrhiza.Importantly,three-dimensional structure information,such as the retention time,MS^(1) and MS^(2) data,and collision cross section(CCS),was provided,which can facilitate the more reliable characterization of herbal components.Boxue Chen Hongda Wang Meiyu Liu Wandi Hu Yuexin Qian Jiali Wang Jie Liu Xue Li Jing Wang Wenzhi Yang 2022Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,5:0
