1Electron backscatter diffraction investigation of duplex-phase microstructure in a forged Zr-2.5Nb alloy显示文摘Microstructural features of a duplex-phase Zr-2.5Nb alloy were investigated in detail using electron channeling contrast(ECC)imaging and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)technique in an emission gun scanning electron microscope(FEGSEM).The excellent resolution provided by the FEGSEM promises the combined utilization of both techniques to be quite adequate for characterizing the duplex-phase microstructures.Results show that the microstructure of the Zr-2.5Nb alloy is composed of bulkαgrains(majority)in equiaxed or plate shape and thinβfilms(minority)surrounding the bulk grains,with their average grain size and thickness measured to be 1.4μm and 72 nm,respectively.Analyses onα-grain boundaries reveal a number of low angle boundaries,most of which belong to deformation-induced dislocation boundaries.Measurements on relative proportions of various Burgers boundaries suggest very weak(if any)variant selection duringβ→αcooling,which should be related to deformation-induced higher nucleation rate ofαphases.Compared to earlier attempts,more satisfactory indexing of fineβphases(down to nanoscale)is attained by the FEGSEM-based EBSD.Examples are presented to clearly reveal well-obeyed Burgers orientation relationships between adjacentαandβphases.Finally,it is deduced that continuing application of the FEGSEM-based EBSD to duplex-phase Zr alloys could help clarify controversies like the deformation priority of the two phases.CHAI LinJiang WANG ShuYan LUAN BaiFeng LIU Qing 2016Science China(Technological Sciences)2016,59,4:5
2α→β Transformation characteristics revealed by pulsed laser-induced non-equilibrium microstructures in duplex-phase Zr alloy显示文摘Microstructures of a duplex-phase Zr-2.5Nb alloy treated by pulsed laser were characterized by electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD) and electron channeling contrast(ECC) imaging techniques.Major attention has been paid to non-equilibrium hybrid microstructure consisting of both prior a and β phases,and a plates transformed from new β phases to probe α→β transformation characteristics in the alloy.The origin of the hybrid microstructure is attributed to the specific thermodynamic conditions induced by the pulsed laser treatment.ECC observation shows that newly formed β phases during laser heating prefer to nucleate and grow at the expense of edges of prior a grains rather than their interiors.EBSD analyses further reveal that orientations of the new βphases are not determined by the prior a grains according to the Burgers relationship but maintain those of the prior β phases in an epitaxial growth way.CHAI LinJiang WANG Shu Yan WU Hao GUO Ning PAN HuCheng CHEN Liang Yu MURTY K.L. 3Evolution of surface microstructure of Cu-50Cr alloy treated by high current pulsed electron beam显示文摘A Cu-50Cr alloy was treated by the high current pulsed electron beam(HCPEB)at 20 and 30 ke V with pulse numbers ranging from 1 to 100.Surface morphologies and microstructures of specimens before and after the treatments were investigated by employing scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction.Results show that the HCPEB technique is able to induce remarkable surface modifications for the Cu-50Cr alloy.Cracks in Cr phases appear even after one-pulse treatment and their density always increases with the pulse number.Formation reason for these cracks is attributed to quasi-static thermal stresses accumulated along the specimen surface.Craters with typical morphologies are formed due to the dynamic thermal field induced by the HCPEB and they are found to prefer the sites near cracks or boundaries between neighboring Cr phases.Another microstructural characteristic produced by the HCPEB is the fine Cr spheroids,which are determined to be due to occurrence of liquid phase separation in the Cu-50Cr alloy.Finally,a general microstructural evolution profile that incorporates various HCPEB-induced surface features is tentatively outlined.CHAI LinJiang ZHOU ZhiMing XIAO ZhiPei TU Jian WANG YaPing HUANG WeiJiu 2015Science China(Technological Sciences)2015,58,3:5
4Simultaneous denitrifying phosphorus accumulation in a sequencing batch reactor显示文摘In order to achieve simultaneous nitrogen and phosphorus removal in the biological treatment process,denitrifying phosphorus accumulation(DNPA)and its affecting factors were studied in a sequencing batch reactor(SBR)with synthetic wastewater.The results showed that when acetate was used as the sole carbon resource in the influent,the sludge acclimatized under anaerobic/aerobic operation had good phos-phorus removal ability.Denitrifying phosphorus accumulation was observed soon when fed with nitrate instead of aeration following the anaerobic stage,which is a vital premise to DNPA.If DNPA sludge is fed with nitrate prior to the anaerobic stage,the DNPA would weaken or even disappear.At the high concen-tration of nitrate fed in the anoxic stage,the longer anoxic time needed,the better the DNPA was.Induced DNPA did not disap-pear even though an aerobic stage followed the anoxic stage,but the shorter the aerobic stage lasted,the higher the proportions of phosphorus removal via DNPA to total removal.YUAN Linjiang HAN Wei WANG Lei YANG Yongzhe WANG Zhiying 2007Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2007,1,1:3
5Microstructural characteristics of cold-rolled Zr-2.5Nb alloy annealed near the monotectoid temperature显示文摘A dual-phase Zr-2.5 Nb alloy was rolled at room temperature to 50% reduction and then annealed at two temperatures(560 and580°C) near the monotectoid temperature. X-ray diffraction, electron channeling contrast imaging and electron backscatter diffraction techniques were jointly used to characterize microstructural characteristics developed in the as-rolled and annealed specimens. Results show that plastic deformation occurs in both bulk α-Zr grains and thin β-Zr films during rolling, allowing large lattice strains to be accumulated in β-Zr and active dislocation slip(especially the prismatic áa?slip) to be initiated in α-Zr. During subsequent annealing at 580°C, the prior β-Zr films are transformed into submicron β-Zr particles, which lose coherency(the Burgers orientation relationship) with surrounding α grains. In the specimen annealed at 560°C, however, the prior β-Zr films are found to be decomposed into nanoscale β-Nb particles. In both the annealed specimens, the β-Zr and the β-Nb particles appeared to be linearly distributed along the rolling direction. Two types of α structures, i.e., small equiaxed crystallites formed by recovery of dislocation structures and coarse bamboo-like recrystallized grains, are revealed in the annealed specimens. 6Bimodal plate structures induced by pulsed laser in duplex-phase Zr alloy显示文摘A duplex-phase Zr-2.5Nb alloy was treated by pulsed laser, followed by careful microstructural characterization using field emission gun scanning electron microscope and attached electron backscatter diffraction. Beneath the modification zones with common uniform α-plate structures(UPS), a layer of unreported bimodal α-plate structures(BPS) featured by coarse(submicron)plates forming multiple cores surrounded by dense fine(nanoscale) plates was found. Presence of such BPS is attributed to non-equilibrium thermodynamic conditions induced by the pulsed laser treatments. Limited diffusion of Nb due to the short pulse during laser heating allows β phases with distinctly different Nb contents to be presented: Nb-enriched prior β films and Nb-depleted β phases, transforming into the fine and the coarse plates during cooling, respectively. 8~1H MAS NMR spectra of kao-linite/formamide intercalation compound显示文摘The high spinning speed 1H magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (1H MAS NMR) technique was employed to distinguish the two groups of surface hy-droxyls of kaolinite and investigate the intercalation mechanism of kaolinite/formamide compound. The proton chemical shifts of the inner hydroxyl and inner surface hydroxyl of kaolinte are in the range of δ-1.3--0.9 and δ 2.4-3.0 respectively. After formamide intercalation three proton peaks were detected. The proton peak of the inner surface hydrox-yls of the intercalation compound shifts to high-field with δ2.3-2.7, which is assigned to the formation of the hydrogen bond between the inner surface hydroxyl and formamide carbonyl group. Whereas, the proton peak of the inner hydroxyl shifts to δ-0.3 toward low-field, that is attributed to van der Waal’s effect between the inner hydroxyl proton and the amino group proton of the formamide which may be keyed into the ditrigonal hole of the kaolinite. 16Fluorinated Covalent Organic Frameworks Coupled with Molecular Cobalt Cocatalysts for Efficient Photocatalytic CO_(2)Reduction显示文摘The combination of covalent organic framework(COF)photosensitizers with molecular cocatalysts is a promising avenue for photocatalytic carbon dioxide(CO_(2))reduction.Here,a series of isostructural COFs was synthesized using linkers of different lengths,with or without partial fluorination.These COFs were investigated for photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction under visible-light irradiation when combined with cobalt(II)bipyridine complexes as a cocatalyst.Fluorination was found to enhance both CO_(2)affinity and catalytic activity,and a partially fluorinated COF,FBP-COF,achieved the highest CO_(2)-to-CO conversion efficiency,showing a carbon monoxide(CO)generation rate of 2.08 mmol h−1 g−1 and a 90%CO selectivity.FBP-COF also showed good stability under sacrificial conditions,generating CO for 50 h with a turnover number of 91.5.This activity is much higher than a homogeneous system using ruthenium bipyridine complexes as the photosensitizer combined with the same cobalt bipyridine complexes.Zhiwei Fu Chang Shu Xiaoyan Wang Linjiang Chen Xue Wang Lunjie Liu Kewei Wang Rob Clowes Samantha Y.Chong Xiaofeng Wu Andrew I.Cooper 2023CCS Chemistry2023,5,10:0
17Application of Clays in Fire Retardant Materials of Polymers显示文摘Because of the dispersion at the nanometer level, polymer-clay nanocomposites exhibit superior properties in comparison with pure polymer or conventional composites; this includes properties such as barrier properties , improved thermal stability and flame retardancy. The outstanding properties of polymer-clay nanocomposites are achieved at a much lower volume fraction, compared with conventional composites. Polymer-clay nanocomposites can be processed using common techniques, such as extrusion and casting, which are superior to the cumbersome techniques used for the conventional composites. 18A novel Zn-PANI dry rechargeable battery显示文摘Conducting polyaniline (PANI) powder was well mixed with graphite and acetylene black to obtain the optimum conductivity and porosity. The mixed powder was compressed into a pellet for cathode. Zinc powder was mixed with some metal powder, and compressed into a pellet used as the anode. The electrolyte comprised ZnCl2, NH4Cl, Triton-X100 and PVA at pH 3. The battery has an open-circuit voltage of 1.44 V. The battery underwent charge-discharge cycle with a constant current density of 3 mA·cm-2, within the voltage range of 0.40-1.68 V. It is found that the capacity of the battery is related to the charge-discharge cycles, the maximum capacity is 67.9 mAh·g-1, and Coulombic efficiency is between 95% and 100%. The battery stability was also investigated after 78 d of standing without use. 19Preclinical and early clinical studies of a novel compound SYHA1813 that efficiently crosses the blood-brain barrier and exhibits potent activity against glioblastoma显示文摘Glioblastoma(GBM)is the most common and aggressive malignant brain tumor in adults and is poorly controlled.Previous studies have shown that both macrophages and angiogenesis play significant roles in GBM progression,and co-targeting of CSF1R and VEGFR is likely to be an effective strategy for GBM treatment.Therefore,this study developed a novel and selective inhibitor of CSFIR and VEGFR,SYHA1813,possessing potent antitumor activity against GBM.SYHA1813 inhibited VEGFR and CSFIR kinase activities with high potency and selectivity and thus blocked the cell viability of HUVECs and macrophages and exhibited anti-angiogenetic effects both in vitro and in vivo.SYHA1813 also displayed potent in vivo antitumor activity against GBM in immune-competent and immune-deficient mouse models,including temozolomide(TMZ)insensitive tumors.Notably,SYHA1813 could penetrate the blood-brain barrier(BBB)and prolong the survival time of mice bearing intracranial GBM xenografts.Moreover,SYHA1813 treatment resulted in a synergistic antitumor efficacy in combination with the PD-1 antibody.As a clinical proof of concept,SYHA1813 achieved confirmed responses in patients with recurrent GBM in an ongoing first-in-human phase I trial.The data of this study support the rationale for an ongoing phase I clinical study(ChiCTR2100045380).Yingqiang Liu Zhengsheng Zhan Zhuang Kang Mengyuan Li Yongcong Lv Shenglan Li Linjiang Tong Fang Feng Yan Li Mengge Zhang Yaping Xue Yi Chen Tao Zhang Peiran Song Yi Su Yanyan Shen Yiming Sun Xinying Yang Yi Chen Shanyan Yao Hanyu Yang Caixia Wang Meiyu Geng Wenbin Li Wenhu Duan Hua Xie Jian Ding 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,12:0
20Application of ARIMA-RTS optimal smoothing algorithm in gas well production prediction显示文摘Gas field production forecast is an important basis for decision-making in the gas industry.How to accurately predict the dynamic production during gas field development is an important content of reservoir engineering research.Reservoir numerical simulation is the most common method for predicting oil and gas production.However,it requires a lot of data to build an accurate geological model which is tedious and time-consuming.At present,many scholars have used machine learning and data mining methods to predict oil and gas production,but they have not considered whether the use of increasing production measures will affect the predicted results.Thus,ARIMA-RTS optimal smooth algorithm is the first applied to establish the prediction model of gas well production.According to the historical production data,the model is processed,the production differential autoregressive integral moving average(ARIMA)model in time series is established,then ARIMA model is combined with RTS(Rauch Tung Striebel)smoothing,and the production prediction model is constructed.RTS smoothing algorithm is an enhanced version of Kalman filter.The measurements are firstly processed by the forward filter,and then,a separate backward smoothing pass is used for obtaining the smoothing solution.The correctness of ARIMA-RTS model was verified with the actual production data.The results show that the prediction based on ARIMA-RTS model can accurately reflect the production performance of gas well.This method can effectively reduce the error caused by stimulation when predicting.When using the ARIMA-RTS model and the ARIMA-Kalman model to predict the production of the same gas well,the prediction accuracy of ARIMA-RTS model is higher than that of ARIMA-Kalman model in production wells with stimulation.Compared with that of the ARIMA-Kalman model,the mean relative error fitted by the ARIMA-RTS model is reduced by 46.3%,and the relative mean square error is reduced by 56.48%.ARIMA-RTS optimal smooth algorithm improves the prediction accuracy of gas well that uses stimulation.We therefore conclude that the ARIMA-RTS optimal smooth algorithm can help us better forecast the forecasting gas well production with stimulation,as well as other fuels output.Yonggang Duan Huan Wang Mingqiang Wei Linjiang Tan Tao Yue 2022Petroleum2022,8,2:0
