1An overview of the configuration and manipulation of soft robotics for on-orbit servicing显示文摘Soft robots refer to robots that are softer and more flexible when compared with conventional rigidbodied robots. Soft robots are adapted to unstructured environments due to their flexibility, deformability and energy-absorbing properties. Thus, they have tremendous application prospects in on-orbit servicing(OOS).This study discusses the configuration and manipulation of soft robotics. Usually, learning from living beings is used to develop the configurations of most soft robots. In this study, typical soft robots are introduced based on what they mimic. The discussion of manipulation is divided into two parts, namely actuation and control.The study also involves describing and comparing several types of actuations. Studies on the control of soft robots are also reviewed. 2A unified level set framework utilizing parameter priors for medical image segmentation显示文摘Image segmentation plays an important role in many medical imaging systems,yet in complex circumstances it remains an open problem.One of the main difculties is the intensity inhomogeneity in an image.In order to tackle this problem,we frst introduce a region-based level set segmentation framework to unify the traditional global and local methods.We then propose two novel parameter priors,i.e.,the local order regularization and interactive regularization,and then utilize them as the constraints of the objective energy function.The objective energy function is fnally minimized via a level set evolution process to achieve image segmentation.Extensive experiments show that the proposed approach has gained signifcant improvements in both accuracy and efciency over the state-of-the-art methods.WANG LingFeng YU ZeYun PAN ChunHong 2013Science China(Information Sciences)2013,56,11:4
3The Genomes of the Allohexaploid Echinochloa crus-galli and Its Progenitors Provide Insights into Polyploidization-Driven Adaptation显示文摘The hexaploid species Echinochloa crus-galli is one of the most detrimental weeds in crop fields,especially in rice paddies.Its evolutionary history is similar to that of bread wheat,arising through polyploidization after hybridization between a tetraploid and a diploid species.In this study,we generated and analyzed high-quality genome sequences of diploid(E.haploclada),tetraploid(E.oryzicola),and hexaploid(E.crus-galli)Echinochloa species.Gene family analysis showed a significant loss of disease-resistance genes such as those encoding NB-ARC domain-containing proteins during Echinochloa polyploidization,contrary to their significant expansionduring wheat polyploidization,suggesting that natural selection might favor reduced investment in resistance in this weed to maximize its growth and reproduction.In contrast to the asymmetric patterns of genome evolution observed in wheat and other crops,no significant differences in selection pressure were detected between the subgenomes in E.oryzicola and E.crus-galli.In addition,distinctive differences in subgenome transcriptome dynamics during hexaploidization were observed between E.crus-galli and bread wheat.Collectively,our study documents genomic mechanisms underlying the adaptation of a major agricultural weed during polyploidization.The genomic and transcriptomic resources of three Echinochloa species and new insights into the polyploidization-driven adaptive evolution would be useful for future breeding cereal crops.Chu-Yu Ye Dongya Wu Lingfeng Mao Lei Jia Jie Qiu Sangting Lao Meihong Chen Bowen Jiang Wei Tang Qiong Peng Lang Pan Lifeng Wang Xiaoxiao Feng Longbiao Guo Chulong Zhang Elizabeth A.Kellogg Kenneth M.Olsen Lianyang Bai Longjiang Fan 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,9:4

5High-Performance Photo-Modulated Thin-Film Transistor Based on Quantum dots/Reduced Graphene Oxide Fragment-Decorated ZnO Nanowires显示文摘In this paper, a photo-modulated transistor based on the thin-film transistor structure was fabricated on the flexible substrate by spin-coating and magnetron sputtering. A novel hybrid material that composed of Cd Se quantum dots and reduced graphene oxide(RGO) fragment-decorated ZnO nanowires was synthesized to overcome the narrow optical sensitive waveband and enhance the photo-responsivity. Due to the enrichment of the interface and heterostructure by RGO fragments being utilized, the photo-responsivity of the transistor was improved to 2000 AW^(-1) and the photo-sensitive wavelength was extended from ultraviolet to visible. In addition, a positive back-gate voltage was employed to reduce the Schottky barrier width of RGO fragments and ZnO nanowires. As a result, the amount of carriers was increased by 10 folds via the modulation of back-gate voltage. 6Wheat MADS-box gene TaSEP3-D1 negatively regulates heading date显示文摘The MADS-box gene plays an important role in regulating plant growth and development.In this study,a SEP3-like MADS-box gene TaSEP3-1 was isolated from bread wheat.The expression patterns of the three homoeologs TaSEP3-A1,TaSEP3-B1,and TaSEP3-D1 were similar,and higher expression levels were detected in floral organs and developing kernels.TaSEP3-D1 was located in the nucleus and cytoplasm and possessed transactivation activity in yeast.Homoeolog sequence polymorphism analysis identified four,three,and four haplotypes of TaSEP3-A1,TaSEP3-B1,and TaSEP3-D1,respectively,and the haplotypes of TaSEP3-D1 had larger effects on agronomic traits than those of TaSEP3-A1 and TaSEP3-B1.D1_h4,significantly associated with heading date,plant height,and other yield-related traits,was the favored haplotype of TaSEP3-D1.Transgenic wheat genotypes overexpressing TaSEP3-D1 exhibited delayed heading and reduced plant height,indicating a role in regulating heading date and plant development.These results shed light on the role of TaSEP3-D1 in wheat plant development.The favored haplotype of TaSEP3-D1 can be applied in breeding to improve plant architecture and yield in wheat.Lei Zhang Hao Zhang Linyi Qiao Lingfeng Miao Dong Yan Pan Liu Guangyao Zhao Jizeng Jia Lifeng Gao 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,5:2
7Costunolide covalently targets NACHT domain of NLRP3 to inhibit inflammasome activation and alleviate NLRP3-driven inflammatory diseases显示文摘The NLRP3 inflammasome’s core and most specific protein,NLRP3,has a variety of functions in inflammation-driven diseases.Costunolide(COS)is the major active ingredient of the traditional Chinese medicinal herb Saussurea lappa and has anti-inflammatory activity,but the principal mechanism and molecular target of COS remain unclear.Here,we show that COS covalently binds to cysteine 598 in NACHT domain of NLRP3,altering the ATPase activity and assembly of NLRP3 inflammasome.We declare COS’s great anti-inflammasome efficacy in macrophages and disease models of gouty arthritis and ulcerative colitis via inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome activation.We also reveal that theα-methylene-γ-butyrolactone motif in sesquiterpene lactone is the certain active group in inhibiting NLRP3 activation.Taken together,NLRP3 is identified as a direct target of COS for its anti-inflammasome activity.COS,especially theα-methylene-γ-butyrolactone motif in COS structure,might be used to design and produce novel NLRP3 inhibitors as a lead compound.Haowen Xu Jiahao Chen Pan Chen Weifeng Li Jingjing Shao Shanshan Hong Yi Wang Lingfeng Chen Wu Luo Guang Liang 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,2:2

15Distance-directed Target Searching for a Deep Visual Servo SMA Driven Soft Robot Using Reinforcement Learning显示文摘Performing complex tasks by soft robots in constrained environment remains an enormous challenge owing to the limitations of flexible mechanisms and control methods.In this paper,a novel biomimetic soft robot driven by Shape Memory Alloy(SMA)with light weight and multi-motion abilities is introduced.We adapt deep learning to perceive irregular targets in an unstructured environment.Aiming at the target searching task,an intelligent visual servo control algorithm based on Q-leaming is proposed to generate distance-directed end effector locomotion.In particular,a threshold reward system for the target searching task is proposed to enable a certain degree of tolerance for pointing errors.In addition,the angular velocity and working space of the end effector with load and without load based on the established coupling kinematic model are presented.Our framework enables the trained soft robot to take actions and perform target searching.Realistic experiments under different conditions demonstrate the convergence of the learning process and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.Wuji Liu Zhongliang Jing Han Pan Lingfeng Qiao Henry Leung Wujun Chen 2020Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,6:0
16Experimental and Theoretical Study on CHF of a Ultra-Supercritical Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler Water-Wall Tube at near-Critical Pressures显示文摘The experimental and theoretical research on the critical heat flux(CHF)in a uniformly heated water-wall tube of the efficient ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed(USCFB)boiler has been conducted.In particular,the experimental pressure varies from 18 MPa to 21 MPa,which is from 0.814Pcr–0.95Pcr(Pcr:critical pressure).The mass flux varies from 310 kg·m^(–2)·s^(–1)to 550 kg·m^(–2)·s^(–1).The inlet sub-cooling temperatures vary from 5°C to 10°C.The material of the tube is 12Cr1MoVg.From experimental investigation,the near critical pressure CHF test data of water are obtained.We find that the CHF mainly occurs when the vapor qualities are less than 0.4,and it occurs earlier(at lower vapor quality)when the pressure is closer to 22.115 MPa or the mass flux is smaller.From the experimental data,a correlation function for the CHF is established via regression and machine learning.Correlations established via machine learning greatly improved the regression accuracy.To study the CHF phenomenon mechanically,a theoretical model is established based on the near-surface bubble crowding model describing the DNB-type CHF.In the development of the CHF model,the friction resistance coefficient is determined according to our test results.By comparison with different experimental results,the near-surface bubble crowding model is well suited to describe DNB-type CHF.The calculation results of the model can provide reference for the optimal design of the USCFB boiler.WANG Wenyu MA Zhan QING Hao NIE Chao YANG Haoyu BI Lingfeng YANG Dong PAN Wenxiao 2023Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,1:0
17Solution processed nano-ZnMgO interfacial layer for highly efficient inverted perovskite solar cells显示文摘Interfacial layer has a significant impact on the achievement of highly efficient organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells(PSCs). Here, we introduced a nano-ZnMgO(magnesium doped ZnO, abbreviated as ZnMgO) as interfacial layer between [6, 6]-Phenyl C_(61) butyric acid methyl ester(PC_(61) BM) layer and Al electrode to replace LiF or ZnO interlayer and enhance device performance. The device efficiency has been improved from 11.43% to 15.61% and the hysteresis was decreased dramatically. Such huge enhancement of power convert efficiency(PCE) can be attributed to the low dark current density, enhancement of electron-selective contact, and low energy barrier at the PC_(61) BM/Al interface. 183D printing critical materials for rechargeable batteries: from materials, design and optimization strategies to applications显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D)printing,an additive manufacturing technique,is widely employed for the fabrication of various electrochemical energy storage devices(EESDs),such as batteries and supercapacitors,ranging from nanoscale to macroscale.This technique offers excellent manufacturing flexibility,geometric designability,cost-effectiveness,and eco-friendliness.Recent studies have focused on the utilization of 3D-printed critical materials for EESDs,which have demonstrated remarkable electrochemical performances,including high energy densities and rate capabilities,attributed to improved ion/electron transport abilities and fast kinetics.However,there is a lack of comprehensive reviews summarizing and discussing the recent advancements in the structural design and application of 3D-printed critical materials for EESDs,particularly rechargeable batteries.In this review,we primarily concentrate on the current progress in 3D printing(3DP)critical materials for emerging batteries.We commence by outlining the key characteristics of major 3DP methods employed for fabricating EESDs,encompassing design principles,materials selection,and optimization strategies.Subsequently,we summarize the recent advancements in 3D-printed critical materials(anode,cathode,electrolyte,separator,and current collector)for secondary batteries,including conventional Li-ion(LIBs),Na-ion(SIBs),K-ion(KIBs)batteries,as well as Li/Na/K/Zn metal batteries,Zn-air batteries,and Ni–Fe batteries.Within these sections,we discuss the 3DP precursor,design principles of 3D structures,and working mechanisms of the electrodes.Finally,we address the major challenges and potential applications in the development of 3D-printed critical materials for rechargeable batteries.Yongbiao Mu Youqi Chu Lyuming Pan Buke Wu Lingfeng Zou Jiafeng He Meisheng Han Tianshou Zhao Lin Zeng 2023International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2023,5,4:0
