1Recent applications and strategies in nanotechnology for lung diseases显示文摘Lung diseases, including COVID-19 and lung cancers,is a huge threat to human health. However, for the treatment and diagnosis of various lung diseases, such as pneumonia, asthma, cancer, and pulmonary tuberculosis, are becoming increasingly challenging.Currently, several types of treatments and/or diagnostic methods are used to treat lung diseases;however, the occurrence of adverse reactions to chemotherapy,drug-resistant bacteria, side effects that can be significantly toxic, and poor drug delivery necessitates the development of more promising treatments.Nanotechnology,as an emerging technology, has been extensively studied in medicine.Several studies have shown that nano-delivery systems can significantly enhance the targeting of drug delivery. When compared to traditional delivery methods, several nanoparticle delivery strategies are used to improve the detection methods and drug treatment efficacy.Transporting nanoparticles to the lungs, loading appropriate therapeutic drugs, and the incorporation of intelligent functions to overcome various lung barriers have broad prospects as they can aid in locating target tissues and can enhance the therapeutic effect while minimizing systemic side effects. In addition,as a new and highly contagious respiratory infection disease,COVID-19 is spreading worldwide. However, there is no specific drug for COVID-19.Clinical trials are being conducted in several countries to develop antiviral drugs or vaccines. In recent years, nanotechnology has provided a feasible platform for improving the diagnosis and treatment of diseases,nanotechnology-based strategies may have broad prospects in the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19.This article reviews the latest developments in nanotechnology drug delivery strategies in the lungs in recent years and studies the clinical application value of nanomedicine in the drug delivery strategy pertaining to the lung.Wenhao Zhong Xinyu Zhang Yunxin Zeng Dongjun Lin Jun Wu 2021Nano Research2021,14,7:3

8A study on levels of neuropeptide Y, neurotensin motilin and calcitonin gene-reliated peptide in plasma in patients with cerebral infarction and dinical isignificance显示文摘Objective To explore the relationship between virulent Helicobacter pylori strains infection and cerebral infarction. Method We assessed the prevalence of infection by strains bearing the cytotoxin -associated gene-A(Cag-A),a strong virulence factor ,in 83 patients with cerebral infarction and in 71 age- and sex-matched controls with similar social background. Result Prevalence of Helicobacter pylori infection was significantly higher in patients than in controls(78.3% versus 56.3%,p<0.05),with an odds ratio of 2.8(95%CI,1.46 to 5.36) adjusted for age, sex, main stroke factors. Patients with cerebral infarction also had a higher prevalence of Cag-A-positive strains(45.8% versus 19.7%, P<0.01),with an adjusted odds ratio of 3.43(95%CI 1.5 to 7.24).Conclusion It was suggested that chronic Helicobacter pylori infection, especially Cag-A-positive strains infection is an independent risk factor for cerebral infarction.Li Yizhao Sun Lin Zhang Dongjun 2000中国临床神经科学2000,8,z1:0
9Underground space use of urban built-up areas in the central city of Nanjing:Insight based on a dynamic population distribution显示文摘With the expansion of cities and the emergence of various urban problems, urban underground space has been developed as a solution. In China’s urban transition context, there is a need for the development of underground space in urban built-up areas. In this casestudy of the central city of Nanjing,we used spatial analysis and statistical methods to characterize the underground space use of urban built-up areas from a dynamic spatiotemporal perspective. We first analyzed the relationship between the population distribution and the underground space use of the central city of Nanjing based on a Baidu heat map, which can reflect the real-time population distribution, and then,we explored the spatiotemporal characteristics and spatial structure of the underground space use in urban built-up areas. The analysis results provide a reference for planning to improve and optimize the layout of underground space in the central city of Nanjing and, more generally, for the stock-type planning of underground space in urban built-up areas.Yulu Chen Zhilong Chen Dongjun Guo Ziwei Zhao Tong Lin Chenhao Zhang 2022Underground Space2022,7,5:0
10Haploidentical transplantation has a superior graft-versus-leukemia effect than HLA-matched sibling transplantation for Ph- high-risk B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia显示文摘Background: Compared with human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-matched sibling donor (MSD) transplantation, it remains unclear whether haploidentical donor (HID) transplantation has a superior graft-versus-leukemia (GVL) effect for Philadelphia-negative (Ph-) high-risk B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). This study aimed to compare the GVL effect between HID and MSD transplantation for Ph- high-risk B-ALL.Methods: This study population came from two prospective multicenter trials (NCT01883180, NCT02673008). Immunosuppressant withdrawal and prophylactic or pre-emptive donor lymphocyte infusion (DLI) were administered in patients without active graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) to prevent relapse. All patients with measurable residual disease (MRD) positivity posttransplantation (post-MRD+) or non-remission (NR) pre-transplantation received prophylactic/pre-emptive interventions. The primary endpoint was the incidence of post-MRD+.Results: A total of 335 patients with Ph- high-risk B-ALL were enrolled, including 145 and 190, respectively, in the HID and MSD groups. The 3-year cumulative incidence of post-MRD+ was 27.2% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 20.2%-34.7%) and 42.6% (35.5%-49.6%) in the HID and MSD groups(P = 0.003), respectively. A total of 156 patients received DLI, including 60 (41.4%) and 96 (50.5%), respectively, in the HID and MSD groups (P= 0.096). The 3-year cumulative incidence of relapse was 18.6% (95% CI: 12.7%-25.4%) and 25.9% (19.9%-32.3%;P = 0.116) in the two groups, respectively. The 3-year overall survival (OS) was 67.4% (95% CI: 59.1%-74.4%) and 61.6% (54.2%-68.1%;P = 0.382), leukemia-free survival (LFS) was 63.4% (95% CI: 55.0%-70.7%) and 58.2% (50.8%-64.9%;P= 0.429), and GVHD-free/relapse-free survival (GRFS) was 51.7% (95% CI: 43.3%-59.5%) and 37.8% (30.9%-44.6%;P= 0.041), respectively, in the HID and MSD groups. Conclusion: HID transplantation has a lower incidence of post-MRD+ than MSD transplantation, suggesting that HID transplantation might have a superior GVL effect than MSD transplantation for Ph- high-risk B-ALL patients.Trial registration: ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT01883180, NCT02673008.Fan Menglin Wang Yu Lin Ren Lin Tong Huang Fen Fan Zhiping Xu Yajing Yang Ting Xu Na Shi Pengcheng Nie Danian Lin Dongjun Jiang Zujun Wang Shunqing Sun Jing Huang Xiaojun Liu Qifa Xuan Li 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,8:0
