4Increased hippocampal Disrupted-In-Schizophrenia 1 expression in mice exposed prenatally to lead显示文摘Disrupted-In-Schizophrenia 1 is a susceptibility gene for schizophrenia and other psychiatric dis-orders. Developmental lead exposure can cause neurological disorders similar to hyperactivity dis-order, dyslexia and schizophrenia. In the present study, we examined the impact of developmental lead exposure, administered in vitro and in vivo, on hippocampal Disrupted-In- Schizophrenia 1 expression. Our results show that in cultured hippocampal neurons, in vitro exposure to 0.1-10 μM lead, inhibited neurite growth and increased Disrupted-In-Schizophrenia 1 mRNA and protein ex-pression dose-dependently. In addition, blood lead levels in mice were increased with increasing mouse maternal lead (0.01-1 mM) exposure. Hippocampal neurons from these mice showed a concomitant increase in Disrupted-In-Schizophrenia 1 mRNA and protein expression. 5Intelligent outdoor video advertisement recommendation system based on analysis of audiences' characteristics显示文摘An integrated implementation framework of an intelligent recommendation system for outdoor video advertising is proposed,which is based on the analysis of audiences' characteristics.Firstly,the images of the scene and the people who view the video advertisements are captured by the network camera deployed on the video advertising terminal side.Then audiences' characteristics can be obtained by applying computer vision technologies:face detection,face tracking,gender recognition and age estimation.Finally,an intelligent recommendation algorithm is designed to decide the most fitting video ads for each terminal according to multi-dimensional statistical information of its audiences' characteristics.The experimental results show that the proposed system can effectively improve the audience arrival rate of the video advertisements by an average growth of 27.04%.Moreover,a novel face detection method and a new face tracking method have been proposed to meet the practical requirements of the system,of which the average F1-score is 0.988 and 0.951 respectively.刘鹏 Li Songbin Deng Haojiang Wang Jinlin 2016High Technology Letters2016,22,2:1
6MCMOD:The Multi-Category Large-Scale Dataset for Maritime Object Detection显示文摘The marine environment is becoming increasingly complex due tothe various marine vehicles,and the diversity of maritime objects poses a challengeto marine environmental governance.Maritime object detection technologyplays an important role in this segment.In the field of computer vision,there is no sufficiently comprehensive public dataset for maritime objects inthe contrast to the automotive application domain.The existing maritimedatasets either have no bounding boxes(which are made for object classification)or cover limited varieties of maritime objects.To fulfil the vacancy,this paper proposed the Multi-Category Large-Scale Dataset for MaritimeObject Detection(MCMOD)which is collected by 3 onshore video camerasthat capture data under various environmental conditions such as fog,rain,evening,etc.The whole dataset consists of 16,166 labelled images alongwith 98,590 maritime objects which are classified into 10 classes.Comparedwith the existing maritime datasets,MCMOD contains a relatively balancedquantity of objects of different sizes(in the view).To evaluate MCMOD,this paper applied several state-of-the-art object detection approaches fromcomputer vision research on it and compared their performances.Moreover,a comparison between MCMOD and an existing maritime dataset was conducted.Experimental results indicate that the proposed dataset classifies moretypes of maritime objects and covers more small-scale objects,which canfacilitate the trained detectors to recognize more types of maritime objects anddetect maritime objects over a relatively long distance.The obtained resultsalso showthat the adopted approaches need to be further improved to enhancetheir capabilities in the maritime domain.Zihao Sun Xiao Hu Yining Qi Yongfeng Huang Songbin Li 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,4:0
7Optimized Deep Learning Model for Fire Semantic Segmentation显示文摘Recent convolutional neural networks(CNNs)based deep learning has significantly promoted fire detection.Existing fire detection methods can efficiently recognize and locate the fire.However,the accurate flame boundary and shape information is hard to obtain by them,which makes it difficult to conduct automated fire region analysis,prediction,and early warning.To this end,we propose a fire semantic segmentation method based on Global Position Guidance(GPG)and Multi-path explicit Edge information Interaction(MEI).Specifically,to solve the problem of local segmentation errors in low-level feature space,a top-down global position guidance module is used to restrain the offset of low-level features.Besides,an MEI module is proposed to explicitly extract and utilize the edge information to refine the coarse fire segmentation results.We compare the proposed method with existing advanced semantic segmentation and salient object detection methods.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves 94.1%,93.6%,94.6%,95.3%,and 95.9%Intersection over Union(IoU)on five test sets respectively which outperforms the suboptimal method by a large margin.In addition,in terms of accuracy,our approach also achieves the best score.Songbin Li Peng Liu Qiandong Yan Ruiling Qian 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,9:0
8General Steganalysis Method of Compressed Speech Under Different Standards显示文摘Analysis-by-synthesis linear predictive coding(AbS-LPC)is widely used in a variety of low-bit-rate speech codecs.Most of the current steganalysis methods for AbS-LPC low-bit-rate compressed speech steganography are specifically designed for a specific coding standard or category of steganography methods,and thus lack generalization capability.In this paper,a general steganalysis method for detecting steganographies in low-bit-rate compressed speech under different standards is proposed.First,the code-element matrices corresponding to different coding standards are concatenated to obtain a synthetic code-element matrix,which will be mapped into an intermediate feature representation by utilizing the pre-trained dictionaries.Then,bidirectional long short-term memory is employed to capture long-term contextual correlations.Finally,a code-element affinity attention mechanism is used to capture the global inter-frame context,and a full connection structure is used to generate the prediction result.Experimental results show that the proposed method is effective and better than the comparison methods for detecting steganographies in cross-standard low-bit-rate compressed speech.Peng Liu Songbin Li Qiandong Yan Jingang Wang Cheng Zhang 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,8:0
