Acoustic reflection of rib-stiffened double plates coated with a viscoelastic layer显示文摘To predict sound-absorbing performance of anechoic materials, the acoustic reflection problem of a viscoelastic layer backed with periodically rib-stiffened infinite double plates is studied in this paper. The reason why structural theories of plates are not applicable to viscoelastic plates is explained through comparing dispersion and attenuation curves of flexural waves with those of Lamb waves. As a result,(visco-)elastic theory is adopted to deal with(visco-)elastic plates, and ribs are treated by structural theories of plates. The coupling between ribs and plates are solved by Hull's method, and solution of the reflected field is obtained. The accuracy of present method is validated by comparing with the results by the structural theories of plates. The influence of a backing on the acoustic reflection of the viscoelatic layer is analyzed by computing reflection coefficients.Performances of different viscoelastic materials are evaluated by the average reflection coefficients. The computational results show that, influence of a backing on the acoustic reflection cannot be suppressed by the viscoelastic materials in low frequencies. The resonance is determined by the coupling of the fluid layer and the double plates. And ribs, which are coupled with the double plates, mainly reduce the acoustic reflection. | GONG Jiayuan AN Junying MA Li XU Haiting | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics2014,33,3: | 6
Vegetation reconstruction of Bronze Age by using microscopic structure of charcoals显示文摘The microscopic structure of charcoals was determined in two sites of Bronze Age, Chifeng area by using the scanning electronic microscope. The results showed that these charcoals are all timbers of Mongolian oak (Quercus mongolica). It has powerful climatic indicative significance. Based on the assemblage of pollen composition, their eco-climatic index and character of community, the vegetation reconstruction of Bronze Age was obtained. The reconstruction showed that the zonal vegetation was Mongolian oak forest and Chinese pine forest in the loess hills in the Chifeng area, which suggested that the climatic condition was warmer and wetter at that time than present time. | CUI Haiting LI Yiyin HU Jinming YAO Xishen LI Yang | 2002 | Chinese Science Bulletin2002,47,23: | 6
Comparison of nonhuman primates identified the suitable model for COVID-19显示文摘Identification of a suitable nonhuman primate(NHP)model of COVID-19 remains challenging. Here,we characterized severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection in three NHP species:Old World monkeys Macaca mulatta(M.mulatta)and Macaca fascicularis(M.fascicularis)and New World monkey Callithrix jacchus(C.jacchus).Infected M.mulatta and M.fascicularis showed abnormal chest radiographs,an increased body temperature and a decreased body weight.Viral genomes were detected in swab and blood samples from all animals.Viral load was detected in the pulmonary tissues of M.mulatta and M.fascicularis but not C.jacchus.Furthermore,among the three animal species,M.mulatta showed the strongest response to SARS-CoV-2,including increased inflammatory cytokine expression and pathological changes in the pulmonary tissues.Collectively, these data revealed the different susceptibilities of Old World and New World monkeys to SARS-CoV-2 and identified M.mulatta as the most suitable for modeling COVID-19. | Shuaiyao Lu Yuan Zhao Wenhai Yu Yun Yang Jiahong Gao Junbin Wang Dexuan Kuang Mengli Yang Jing Yang Chunxia Ma Jingwen Xu Xingli Qian Haiyan Li Siwen Zhao Jingmei Li Haixuan Wang Haiting Long Jingxian Zhou Fangyu Luo Kaiyun Ding Daoju Wu Yong Zhang Yinliang Dong Yuqin Liu Yinqiu Zheng Xiaochen Lin Li Jiao Huanying Zheng Qing Dai Qiangming Sun Yunzhang Hu Changwen Ke Hongqi Liu Xiaozhong Peng | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 5
Numerical quadrature for singular and near-singular integrals of boundary element method and its applications in large-scale acoustic problems显示文摘The numerical quadrature methods for dealing with the problems of singular and near-singular integrals caused by Burton-Miller method are proposed,by which the conventional and fast multipole BEMs(boundary element methods) for 3D acoustic problems based on constant elements are improved. To solve the problem of singular integrals,a Hadamard finite-part integral method is presented, which is a simplified combination of the methods proposed by Kirkup and Wolf. The problem of near-singular integrals is overcome by the simple method of polar transformation and the more complex method of PART(Projection and Angular & Radial Transformation). The effectiveness of these methods for solving the singular and near-singular problems is validated through comparing with the results computed by the analytical method and/or the commercial software LMS Virtual.Lab.In addition, the influence of the near-singular integral problem on the computational precisions is analyzed by computing the errors relative to the exact solution. The computational complexities of the conventional and fast multipole BEM are analyzed and compared through numerical computations.A large-scale acoustic scattering problem, whose degree of freedoms is about 340,000,is implemented successfully. The results show that, the near singularity is primarily introduced by the hyper-singular kernel, and has great influences on the precision of the solution. The precision of fast multipole BEM is the same as conventional BEM,but the computational complexities are much lower. | GONG Jiayuan AN Junying MA Li XU Haiting | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics2017,36,3: | 4
Hypoxia induces T-cell apoptosis by inhibiting chemokine C receptor 7 expression:the role of adenosine receptor A2显示文摘Hypoxia is a major characteristic of the tumor microenvironment, and its effects on immune cells are proposed to be important factors for the process of tumor immune escape. It has been reported that hypoxia affects the function of dendritic cells and the antitumor function of T cells. Here we discuss the effects of hypoxia on T-cell survival. Our results showed that hypoxia induced apoptosis of T cells.Adenosine and adenosine receptors(AR)are important to the hypoxia-related signaling pathway.Using AR agonists and antagonists,we demonstrated that hypoxia-induced apoptosis of T cells was mediated by A^(2a)and A^(2b)receptors.Furthermore,we are the first,to our knowledge,to report that hypoxia significantly inhibited the expression of chemokine C receptor 7(CCR7)of T cells via the A^(2)R signal pathway, perhaps representing a mechanism of hypoxia-induced apoptosis of T cells.Collectively, our research demonstrated that hypoxia induces T-cell apoptosis by the A^(2)R signaling pathway partly by suppressing CCR7.Blocking the A^(2)R signaling pathway and/or activation of CCR7 can increase the anti-apoptosis function of T cells and may become a new strategy to improve antitumor potential. | Jintang Sun Yan Zhang Meixiang Yang Yun Zhang Qi Xie Zewu Li Zhaogang Dong Yongmei Yang Biping Deng Alei Feng Weixu Hu Haiting Mao Xun Qu | 2010 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2010,7,1: | 3
Failure behavior of cellular titanium under dynamic loading显示文摘The dynamic compressive deformation of cellular titanium with regularly distributed cylindrical pores is investigated to evaluate the effect of shock attenuation and obtain the shock Hugoniot relationship of the material. Dynamic compression experiments are conducted at room temperature using a single-stage light gas gun. The Hugoniot relations between shock wave velocity and particle velocity for the cellular titanium samples with porosities 20% and 30% are obtained. The shock response of the regular cellular titanium shows a clear wave attenuation effect. Numerical simulations are also conducted to supplement the experimental study.Inelastic deformation is observed in the samples using optical micrographs, indicating that the deformation of pores contributes significantly to the shock wave attenuation of the cellular titanium material. | REN HuiLan WANG Jing HAO Li SHEN HaiTing | 2017 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2017,60,4: | 3

FinFET Performance Enhancement by Source/Drain Cavity Structure Optimization显示文摘Fin field-effect transistor(FinFET)technology has been introduced to the mainstream complementary metal-oxide semiconductor(CMOS)manufacturing for low-power and highperformance applications. However, advanced FinFET nodes are facing significant challenges to enhance the device performance due to the increasingly prominent parasitic resistance and capacitance. In this study, for the first time,we demonstrate methods of enhancing p-channel FinFET(pFET)performance on a fully integrated advanced FinFET platform via source/drain(S/D)cavity structure optimization.By modulating the cavity depth and proximity around the optimal reference point,we show that the trade-off between the S/D resistance and short channel effect,as well as the impact on the parasitic capacitance must be considered for the S/D cavity structure optimization. An extra process knob of applying cavity implant on the desired cavity structure was also demonstrated to modify the S/D junction profile for device performance enhancement. | Man Gu Wenjun Li Haiting Wang Owen Hu | 2020 | Journal of Microelectronic Manufacturing2020,3,2: | 1

Short-form OPA1 is a molecular chaperone in mitochondrial intermembrane space显示文摘Mitochondria,double-membrane organelles, are known to participate in a variety of metabolic and signal transduction pathways. The intermembrane space(IMS)of mitochondria is proposed to subject to multiple damages emanating from the respiratory chain. The optic atrophy 1(OPA1),an important protein for mitochondrial fusion,is cleaved into soluble short-form(S-OPA1)under stresses. Here we report that S-OPA1 could function as a molecular chaperone in IMS.We purified the S-OPA1(amino acid sequence after OPA1 isoform 5 S1 site)protein and showed it protected substrate proteins from thermally and chemically induced aggregation and strengthened the thermotolerance of Escherichia coli(E.coli).We also showed that S-OPA1 conferred thermotolerance on IMS proteins,e.g.,neurolysin.The chaperone activity of S-OPA1 may be required for maintaining IMS homeostasis in mitochondria. | Deyang Yao Yukun Li Sheng Zeng Zhifan Li Zahir Shah Bigui Song Jinglei Liu Yi Wu Liang Yang Qi Long Wenqian Wang Zhijuan Hu Haite Tang Xingguo Liu | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,2: | 1

Location of Asymmetric Ground Fault Using Virtual Injected Current Ratio and Two-stage Recovery Strategy in Distribution Networks显示文摘Sparse measurements challenge fault location in distribution networks. This paper proposes a method for asymmetric ground fault location in distribution networks with limited measurements.A virtual injected current vector is formulated to estimate the fault line, which can be reconstructed from voltage sags measured at a few buses using compressive sensing(CS).The relationship between the virtual injected current ratio(VICR)and fault position is deduced from circuit analysis to pinpoint the fault.Furthermore,a two-stage recovery strategy is proposed for improving reconstruction accuracy of the current vector, where two different sensing matrixes are utilized to improve the incoherence. The proposed method is validated in IEEE 34 node test feeder.Simulation results show asymmetric ground fault type, resistance, fault position and access of distributed generators(DGs)do not significantly influence performance of our method. In addition,it works effectively under various scenarios of noisy measurement and line parameter error.Validations on 134 node test feeders prove the proposed method is also suitable for systems with more complex structure. | Haiting Shan Luliang Zhang Q.H.Wu Mengshi Li | 2024 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2024,10,1: | 0

Ultra-sensitive Dirac-point-based biosensing on terahertz metasurfaces comprising patterned graphene and perovskites显示文摘Biosensors are a focus of research on terahertz metasurfaces. However, reports of ultra-sensitive biosensors based on Dirac points are rare. Here, a new terahertz metasurface is proposed that consists of patterned graphene and perovskites. This serves as an ultra-sensitive Dirac-point-based biosensor for qualitative detection of sericin.Theoretically, sericin may make graphene n-doped and drive the Fermi level to shift from the valence band to the Dirac point, causing a dramatic decrease in conductivity. Correspondingly, the dielectric environment on the metasurface undergoes significant change, which is suited for ultra-sensitive biosensing. In addition, metal halide perovskites, which are up-to-date optoelectronic materials, have a positive effect on the phase during terahertz wave transmission. Thus, this sensor was used to successfully detect sericin with a detection limit of 780 pg/m L, achieved by changing the amplitude and phase. The detection limit of this sensor is as much as one order of magnitude lower than that of sensors in published works. These results show that the Dirac-pointbased biosensor is a promising platform for a wide range of ultra-sensitive and qualitative detection in biosensing and biological sciences. | Xin Yan Tengteng Li Guohong Ma Ju Gao Tongling Wang Haiyun Yao Maosheng Yang Lanju Liang Jing Li Jie Li Dequan Wei Meng Wang Yunxia Ye Xiaoxian Song Haiting Zhang Chao Ma Yunpeng Ren Xudong Ren Jianquan Yao | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,2: | 0
The olfactory route is a potential way for SARS-CoV-2 to invade the central nervous system of rhesus monkeys显示文摘Neurological manifestations are frequently reported in the COVID-19 patients.Neuromechanism of SARS-CoV-2 remains to be elucidated. In this study,we explored the mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2 neurotropism via our established non-human primate model of COVID-19.In rhesus monkey,SARS-CoV-2 invades the CNS primarily via the olfactory bulb.Thereafter, viruses rapidly spread to functional areas of the central nervous system, such as hippocampus, thalamus, and medulla oblongata. The infection of SARS-CoV-2 induces the inflammation possibly by targeting neurons, microglia, and astrocytes in the CNS.Consistently,SARS-CoV-2 infects neuro-derived SK-N-SH,glial-derived U251,and brain microvascular endothelial cells in vitro. To our knowledge, this is the first experimental evidence of SARS-CoV-2 neuroinvasion in the NHP model, which provides important insights into the CNS-related pathogenesis of SARS-CoV-2. | Li Jiao Yun Yang Wenhai Yu Yuan Zhao Haiting Long Jiahong Gao Kaiyun Ding Chunxia Ma Jingmei Li Siwen Zhao Haixuan Wang Haiyan Li Mengli Yang Jingwen Xu Junbin Wang Jing Yang Dexuan Kuang Fangyu Luo Xingli Qian Longjiang Xu Bin Yin Wei Liu Hongqi Liu Shuaiyao Lu Xiaozhong Peng | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,5: | 0
