| 1 | Neutrophil extracellular traps mediate the crosstalk between glioma progression and the tumor microenvironment via the HMGB1/RAGE/IL-8 axis显示文摘Objective:Neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)produced by tumor-infiltrating neutrophils(TINs)are associated with poor prognosis in patients with several types of cancer.However,the mechanisms underlying the involvement of NETs in glioma progression remain largely unknown.This study aimed to elucidate the roles of NETs in biological processes that drive the crosstalk between glioma progression and the tumor microenvironment.Methods:Neutrophil infiltration and NETs formation were investigated in glioma tissue through immunohistochemistry,and their relationships with clinicopathological features and outcomes were statistically evaluated.The effects of NETs on glioma cell progression were studied in a co-culture system.In vivo and in vitro experiments validated the reactive oxygen species activity and cytokine production of TINs,as well as the ERK signaling pathway activation and the metastasis of gliomas.Results:Neutrophil infiltration and NETs formation were induced in high-grade glioma compared with low-grade glioma.NETs induced by TINs were determined to be an oncogenic marker of high-grade gliomas and to be involved in cell proliferation and invasion.NETs overproduction promoted glioma cell proliferation,migration,and invasion.Furthermore,HMGB1 was found to bind to RAGE and activate the NF-κB signaling pathway in vitro.In addition,NETs stimulated the NF-κB signaling pathway,thus promoting IL-8 secretion in glioblastoma.Subsequently,IL-8 recruited neutrophils which in turn mediated NETs formation via the PI3 K/AKT/ROS axis in TINs.Conclusions:Our results suggest that NETs produced by TINs mediate the crosstalk between glioma progression and the tumor microenvironment by regulating the HMGB1/RAGE/IL-8 axis.Targeting NETs formation or IL-8 secretion may be an effective approach to inhibit glioma progression. | Caijun Zha Xiangqi Meng Lulu Li Shan Mi Da Qian Ziwei Li Pengfei Wu Shaoshan Hu Shihong Zhao Jinquan Cai Yanhong Liu | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,1: | 19 |
| 2 | A Diagnostic Study of the Asymmetric Distribution of Rainfall during the Landfall of Typhoon Haitang(2005)显示文摘The precipitation during landfall of typhoon Haitang(2005) showed asymmetric structures(left side/right side of the track). Analysis of Weather Research and Forecasting model simulation data showed that rainfall on the right side was more than 15 times stronger than on the left side. The causes were analyzed by focusing on comparing the water vapor flux,stability and upward motion between the two sides. The major results were as follows:(1) Relative humidity on both sides was over80%,whereas the convergence of water vapor flux in the lower troposphere was about 10 times larger on the right side than on the left side.(2) Both sides featured conditional symmetric instability [MPV(moist potential vorticity) <0],but the right side was more unstable than the left side.(3) Strong(weak) upward motion occurred throughout the troposphere on the right(left) side. The Q vector diagnosis suggested that large-scale and mesoscale forcing accounted for the difference in vertical velocity. Orographic lift and surface friction forced the development of the asymmetric precipitation pattern. On the right side,strong upward motion from the forcing of different scale weather systems and topography caused a substantial release of unstable energy and the transportation of water vapor from the lower to the upper troposphere,which produced torrential rainfall. However,the above conditions on the left side were all much weaker,which led to weaker rainfall. | 6 | RESEARCH ON THE DEFORMATIONS IN QINGHAI_TIBET PLATEAU AND ITS MARGINS BY INVERTING SEISMIC MOMENT TENSORS AND GPS VELOCITIES显示文摘We have determined approximate average rates of deformation in the Qinghai_Tibet plateau and its margins from the GPS data for last 10 years and the moment tensors from earthquakes between 1900 and 1999.We also determined the strain rate (seismic strain rate) associated with the seismic deformation using 254 M w ≥5.0 earthquakes,and estimated the shortening and extension rates for every block in the area as well.We also estimated the strain rate (geodetic strain rate)by 80 GPS sites’ velocity vectors and analyzed characteristic of kinematics by two kinds of strain rates and discussed earthquake potential in the area.As a result,the deformation rates from seismic moment tensors and from GPS velocities are basically agreed with each other.It is feasible to analyze seismic risk by comparing geodetic strain rate with seismic strain rate based on the opinion that strain energy will be released through earthquake.It is concluded that there is no strong earthquake potential (>M7) in the Qinghai_Tibet plateau and its margins,but there is earthquake potential (>M5) in middle Tibet in a few years. | Xu Caijun Liu Jingnan Li Zhicai Dong Lixiang | 2000 | Geo-Spatial Information Science2000,3,4: | 2 |

| 8 | Coseismic fault model of the 2017 M_(W)6.5 Jiuzhaigou earthquake and implications for the regional fault slip pattern显示文摘On August 8,2017,an M_(W)6.5 earthquake occurred in Jiuzhaigou County,Sichuan Province,China,on the eastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.This study investigates the coseismic deformation field and fault model with ascending and descending Sentinel-1 synthetic aperture radar(SAR)images,aftershock distribution,and elastic half-space dislocation model.The regional fault slip pattern is then quantita-tively examined using the boundary element method.The results show that the ascending and descending interferometric synthetic aperture radar(InSAR)coseismic deformation fields display an overall NNW-SSE trend,with more significant deformation on the southwest side of the fault.The coseismic fault geometry is divided into NW and SE sub-faults with strikes of 162.1°and 149.3°,respectively.The coseismic fault slip is dominated by a left-lateral strike-slip movement with an average rake of-2.31°,mainly occurring at a depth of 0-13.04 km with a shape of an approximately inverted triangle.The fault slip features two peak slip zones,with a maximum of 1.39 m.The total seismic moment is 6.34×10^(18) N·m(M_(W)6.47).The boundary element calculation quantitatively indicates that the regional fault slip pattern may be mainly attributable to the changing strike and dip.The strike changes from NNWeSSE to nearly NS direction,and the dip gradually decreases from the Jiuzhaigou earthquake fault in the north to the Huya fault in the south.With these characteristics,the Huya and the Jiuzhaigou earthquake faults form the eastern boundary of the Minshan uplift zone and accommodate the accumulated deformation. | Yang Liu Yangmao Wen Zhicai Li Ying Peng Caijun Xu | 2022 | Geodesy and Geodynamics2022,13,2: | 1 |
| 9 | Evaluation on the applicability of ERA5 reanalysis dataset to tropical cyclones affecting Shanghai显示文摘Based on the 16 historical tropical cyclones(TCs)affecting Shanghai from 2007 to 2019,the suitability of ERA5 for studying TCs affecting Shanghai is systematically evaluated from the perspective of TC track,intensity,10-m and upper-level wind,using TC best-track data of China Meteorological Administration and surface observations and sounding data.Corresponding to tropical storm(TS),strong tropical storm(STS),typhoon(TY),strong typhoon(STY)and super typhoon(SuperTY),the median TC track bias is 68.1,52.9,42.5,25.4,and 18.2 km,respectively,the median maximum 10-m wind speed(VMAX10m)bias is-3.7,-6.5,-11.4,-21.7,and-32.2 m·s-1,respectively,and the median minimum mean sea level pressure(MSLPmin)bias is 2.2,5.6,8.1,28.2,and 48.7 hPa,respectively.With the increase of TC intensity,the median TC track bias decreases,while the median VMAX10m and MSLPmin bias increase.In general,VMAX10m in ERA5 is lower than observed,and MSLPmin is larger than observed.Under influence of TS,STS,TY and STY,the median 10-m wind speed(V10m)bias in the city is 3.2,4.2,4.7,and 5.4 m·s-1,respectively,and is 4.4-5.2 m·s-1 near the east coast,respectively.V10m is mostly biased high,showing an'M'type pattern with the distance between TC and Shanghai.The median 10 m wind direction(WD10m)bias is in a range of-7° to+7°.The median upper-level wind speed(Vupper)bias decreases with height,with a maximum of~5 m·s-1 at 975 hPa.Below 900 hPa Vupperin ERA5 is typically larger than the radiosonde observation,and its mean bias error(MBE)increases with TC intensity.The upper-level wind direction(WDupper)matches the sounding data well,with a maximum bias of a few degrees only.The results provide a reference for the application of ERA5 to coastal cities affected by TCs. | Zhihui HAN Caijun YUE Changhai LIU Wen GU Yuqi TANG Yongyu LI | 2022 | Frontiers of Earth Science2022,16,4: | 0 |

| 15 | TEMPORAL SPATIAL VARIATION CHARACTERISTICS OF CRUST DEFORMATION OF ACTIVE TECTONIC BLOCKS IN NORTH CHINA显示文摘Global Positioning System (GPS) observations during four measurement campaigns from 1992 to 1999 are used in a study of the temporal and spatial variation characteristics of crustal deformation of active tectonic blocks in North China. The Euler vectors for these active blocks are determined on the basis of GPS velocities of a group relative stable points in 1992,1995,1996 and in 1996,1999 respectively. We have studied the relative motion between blocks at the boundaries and the intra block deformation field. We have also inverted the strain rate fields for these active blocks by bi cubic spline model based on the GPS velocity field. | 16 | Optimization of yield criterion and simulation based on QP980 high strength steel显示文摘QP980 is an ultra high strength steel.First,uniaxial and biaxial tension tests have been done in different loading paths.Then QP980 basic mechanical properties have been obtained.And the stress and strain graph has been drawn.Second,according to the equal principle of the unit volume plastics work and yield stress,QP980 plastic work contour map has been drawn.Third,through comparing Mises,Hill'48,Hosford and Barlat89 yield criterion theoretical curves with the experimental plastic work contour map,the result shows that the Hill'48 yield criterion is in good conformity with the QP980 material.Fourth,Hill'48 yield criterion is optimized by introducing an equivalent plastic strain parameter.The result shows that average error of optimized Hill'48 theoretical yield trajectory is reduced by 8.4%.Last,finite element model about variable cross-section roll forming is established,then applying the optimized Hill'48 parameter yield criterion to the ABAQUS for finite element simulation.The simulation result shows that the forming quality is good,and in agreement with the actual forming parts.Therefore,the optimized Hill'48 yield criterion can be used to precisely describe QP980 ultra high strength steel. | 管延智 Li Caijun Wang Haibo Jiang Yuan | 2020 | High Technology Letters2020,26,1: | 0 |
