4Trends in Incidence Rates,Mortality Rates,and Age-Period-Cohort Effects of Cervical Cancer—China,2003–2017显示文摘Introduction:This study reported the trends and analyzed the age-period-cohort effects on the incidence and mortality rates of cervical cancer in China.Methods:The age-standardized incidence rate(ASIR)and mortality rate(ASMR)by Segi’s world standard population were calculated using qualified consecutive data from 22 cancer registries from 2003 to 2017 in China.We performed joinpoint analysis to describe the trends and age-period-cohort analysis to estimate the independent effects of age,period and cohort on trends in incidence and mortality rates of cervical cancer.Results:The ASIR and ASMR for cervical cancer in females over 20 years old increased during 2003−2017.For females<50 years,a decreasing trend in ASIR and a stable trend in ASMR were observed in urban areas after 2009.But the ASIR and ASMR kept increasing in rural areas during the whole period.For females>50 years,the ASIR and ASMR increased both in urban and rural areas.Age-period-cohort analysis showed increasing period effects on cervical cancer incidence and mortality during the whole period.The cohort effects exhibited a downward-upwarddownward pattern for the incidence(1918–1938,1938–1963,1963–1993)and mortality rates(1918–1943,1943–1963,1963–1993)in urban areas,a fluctuating pattern for incidence rate and a continuing downward pattern for mortality rate(1918–1993)in rural areas.Conclusions:The increases in cervical cancer incidence and mortality rates can be mostly explained by period effects.We observed decreases in risk for cervical cancer incidence and mortality in young female generations,which were more obvious in urban areas.Kexin Sun Rongshou Zheng Lin Lei Siwei Zhang Hongmei Zeng Shaoming Wang Li Li Ru Chen Bingfeng Han Ji Peng Wenqiang Wei Jie He 2022China CDC weekly2022,4,48:4

6Key technologies for the construction of the Xiluodu high arch dam on the Jinsha River in the development of hydropower in western China显示文摘Hydropower development in China is concentrated in the country's western regions.Among all the rivers in China,the lower course of the Jinsha River contains the richest hydro-energy resource,and therefore,4 mammoth hydropower plants are under construction on this particular section of the river at Wudongde,Baihetan,Xiluodu,and Xiangjiaba.The water-blocking structures of the hydropower facilities at Wudongde,Baihetan and Xiluodu are all arch dams of around 300 m high.In view of changes in the geological conditions at the foundation of the Xiluodu dam on the riverbed after excavation started,the designs of expanding foundation surface excavation and dovetailing the dam body and foundation rock on both upstream and downstream sides were introduced,allowing the arch dam and foundation to fit each other and improving the stress conditions of the dam body and foundation.By dividing the dam body into various concrete sections,the dynamic properties of concrete were adequately adjusted to the distribution of stress in the dam body.In addition,the use of the most optimal concrete material and mixture ratio allowed thermodynamics of concrete to satisfy the requirements of the strength,durability,temperature control and crack prevention of the concrete.Moreover,rigorous temperature control measures were introduced to prevent harmful cracking,thus enhancing the integrity of the arch dam.Furthermore,sophisticated construction machinery,scientific testing methods,and sound construction techniques were employed to ensure the uniformity and reliability of concrete placement.The 'Digital Dam' for the Xiluodu project,which is based on the theory of total life cycle,has supplied strong support for construction process control and decision-making.Lu Youmei Fan Qixiang Zhou Shaowu Li Bingfeng Li Wenwei 2012Engineering Sciences2012,10,2:3
7Dynamic deformation behavior of a FeCrNi medium entropy alloy显示文摘Deformation behavior of a FeCrNi medium entropy alloy(MEA)prepared by powder metallurgy(P/M)method was investigated over a wide range of strain rates.The FeCrNi MEA exhibits high strain-hardening ability,which can be attributed to the multiple deformation mechanisms,including dislocation slip,deformation induced stacking fault and mechanical twinning.The shear localization behavior of the FeCrNi MEA was also analyzed by dynamically loading hat-shaped specimens,and the distinct adiabatic shear band cannot be observed until the shear strain reaches~14.5.The microstructures within and outside the shear band exhibit different characteristics:the grains near the shear band are severely elongated and significantly refined by dislocation slip and twinning;inside the shear band,the initial coarse grains completely disappear,and transform into recrystallized ultrafine equiaxed grains by the classical rotational dynamic recrystallization mechanism.Moreover,microvoids preferentially nucleate in the central areas of the shear band where the temperature is very high and the shear stress is highly concentrated.These microvoids will coalesce into microcracks with the increase of strain,which eventually leads to the fracture of the shear band.Ao Fu Bin Liu Zezhou Li Bingfeng Wang Yuankui Cao Yong Liu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,5:2

10State-of-the-art progress in the selective photo-oxidation of alcohols显示文摘Photocatalytic oxidation of alcohols has received more and more attention in recent years following the numerous studies on the degradation of pollutants, hydrogen evolution, and CO_(2) reduction by photocatalysis. Instead of the total oxidation of organics in the degradation process, the photo-oxidation of alcohols aims at the selective conversion of alcohols to produce carbonyl/acid compounds. Promising results have been achieved in designing the catalysts and reaction system, as well as in the mechanistic investigations in the past few years. This review summarizes the state-of-the-art progress in the photo-oxidation of alcohols, including the development of photocatalysts and cocatalysts, reaction conditions including the solvent and the atmosphere, and the exploration of mechanisms with scavengers experiment, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform (DRIFT) spectroscopy. 11Trends in Incidence Rates,Mortality Rates,and Age-Period-Cohort Effects of Female Breast Cancer—China,2003-2017显示文摘Introduction:This study reported the trends in female breast cancer incidence and mortality rates in China,and analyzed the corresponding age-periodcohort effects.Methods:Data from 22 population-based cancer registries in China between 2003 and 2017 were analyzed.Age-standardized incidence rates(ASIR)and mortality rates(ASMR)were calculated using Segi’s world standard population.Joinpoint regression was employed to evaluate trends,and age-period-cohort effects were examined using the intrinsic estimator method.Results:The ASIR for female breast cancer exhibited a more rapid increase in rural areas compared to urban areas across all age groups.The most substantial increase was observed in the 20-34 age group in rural areas[annual percent change(APC)=9.0%,95%confidence interval(CI):7.0%-11.0%,P<0.001].The ASMR for females under 50 years old remained stable from 2003 to 2017 in both urban and rural areas.However,the ASMR for females over 50 in rural areas and those over 65 in urban areas demonstrated a significant increase,with the most pronounced increase observed among females over 65 in rural areas(APC=4.9%,95%CI:2.8%-7.0%,P<0.001).Age-period-cohort analysis revealed increasing period effects and decreasing cohort effects for female breast cancer incidence and mortality rates in both urban and rural settings.Notably,the cohort effect for incidence displayed a slight upward trend for females born between 1983 and 1992 in rural areas.Conclusions:Our study revealed a rapid increase in breast cancer incidence among younger generations and an accelerated mortality rate in older populations residing in rural areas.To effectively address the growing burden of female breast cancer in China,it is essential to develop and implement targeted intervention strategies.Kexin Sun Lin Lei Rongshou Zheng Siwei Zhang Hongmei Zeng Shaoming Wang Li Li Ru Chen Bingfeng Han Ji Peng Wenqiang Wei Jie He 2023China CDC weekly2023,5,15:1

17Incidence and Mortality of Cancers in Female Genital Organs—China,2022显示文摘Introduction:This study presented the incidence and mortality rates of cancers affecting the female genital organs in China,along with their trends spanning from 2010 to 2018.Methods:700 population-based cancer registries provided relevant cancer incidence and mortality data for the year 2018.Among these,106 registries had continuous monitoring data suitable for trend analysis from 2010 to 2018.We focused specifically on cancers affecting female genital organs(ICD10=C51-C54,C56)and projected their incidences and mortalities in China for 2022 based on data from 2018 and the trends observed from 2010 to 2018.Age-standardized incidence rate(ASIR)and mortality rate(ASMR)were calculated using Segi’s world standard population.Results:In 2022,there were an estimated 296,300 new cases and 104,900 deaths from female cancers in China.ASIRs for vulva(C51),vagina(C52),cervix uteri(C53),corpus uteri(C54),and ovary(C56)were 0.32,0.23,13.83,6.84,and 5.68 per 100,000 population.ASIRs for corpus uteri and ovary cancers were higher in urban areas.ASMRs for vulva,vagina,cervix,corpus uteri,and ovary cancers were 0.14,0.08,4.54,1.05,and 2.64 per 100,000 population,respectively.ASMR for ovarian cancer was higher in urban areas.ASIRs and ASMRs for most female genital organ cancers increased from 2010 to 2018,although the rate of increase for vulvar and cervical cancers in rural areas has slowed recently.Conclusions:Tailored cancer prevention and control programs specific to each region are necessary to address the growing disease burden.Kexin Sun Bingfeng Han Hongmei Zeng Shaoming Wang Li Li Ru Chen Rongshou Zheng Wenqiang Wei 2024China CDC weekly2024,6,10:0

19Effects of Added HY Zeolite on the Catalytic Behavior of Pt/OMC-HY in the Hydrogenation of Naphthalene显示文摘In this work,HY zeolites were embedded in the ordered mesoporous carbon(OMC)to prepare a support for a noble metal catalyst Pt/OMC-HY,and the hydrogenation of naphthalene to decalin was carried out over the catalyst.The results showed that Pt/OMC-HY-0.14(in which the mass ratio of HY to phenolic resin oligomer is 0.14)possessed much better catalyst performance than Pt/OMC,which was related to its proper surface acidity,hierarchical pore structure,metal dispersion,and the interaction between metal and support.Furthermore,Pt/OMC-HY-0.14 had better sulfur tolerance than Pt/OMC.In addition,the sulfur tolerance mechanism of Pt/OMC-HY-0.14 was studied,which revealed that the competitive adsorption of DBT on the metal sites with aromatics was the main reason for catalyst deactivation,and the improvement of sulfur tolerance could be achieved by the aid of the acidity of HY zeolite.Based on the acidity,the hydrogenation of DBT can be promoted obviously,and consequently the competitive adsorption of DBT on the metal sites can be reduced.Wu Bingfeng Yang Lina Li Jian Yang Xiaorong Huang Yifeng Bai Jin 2019China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2019,21,3:0
20Crystal-phase engineering of PdCu nanoalloys facilitates selective hydrodeoxygenation at room temperature显示文摘Selective hydrodeoxygenation of biomass-derived aromatic alcohols to value-added chemical or fuel is of great importance for sustainable biomass upgrading,and hydrodeoxygenation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)to 2,5-dimethylfuran(DMF)is one of the most attractive reactions.Achieving the conversion of HMF to DMF using H_(2)at ambient temperature is challenging.In this work,we used PdCu nanoalloys to catalyze the selective hydrodeoxygenation reaction of HMF to DMF using H_(2)as the reducing agent.The reaction path and the product selectivity are governed by the crystallographic phase of the PdCu nanoalloys.It was discovered that body-centered cubic(BCC)PdCu nanoalloys supported on activated carbon(AC)exhibited outstanding performance with 93.6%yield of DMF at room temperature(PdCu/AC-BCC).A combination of experimental and density functional theory(DFT)studies showed that the tilted adsorption modes of furanic intermediates on PdCu-BCC nanoalloy surfaces accounted for the high selectivity of DMF;however,furan ring was activated on PdCu face-centered cubic(FCC)nanoalloy surfaces.Furthermore,PdCu/AC-BCC could also catalyze the hydrodeoxygenation of other aromatic alcohols at room temperature while maintaining the aromatic structures.This work opens the way for selective hydrodeoxygenation of the aromatic alcohols at room temperature with the aromatic ring intact.Shaopeng Li Minghua Dong Mi Peng Qingqing Mei Yanyan Wang Junjuan Yang Youdi Yang Bingfeng Chen Shulin Liu Dequan Xiao Huizhen Liu Ding Ma Buxing Han 2022The Innovation2022,3,1:0
