| 1 | Predictors of mortality after transjugular portosystemic shunt显示文摘AIM:To investigate if echocardiographic and hemodynamic determinations obtained at the time of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS)can provide prognostic information that will enhance risk stratification of patients.METHODS:We reviewed medical records of 467 patients who underwent TIPS between July 2003 and December 2011 at our institution.We recorded information regarding patient demographics,underlying liver disease,indication for TIPS,baseline laboratory values,hemodynamic determinations at the time of TIPS,and echocardiographic measurements both before and after TIPS.We recorded patient comorbidities that may affect hemodynamic and echocardiographic determinations.We also calculated Model for Endstage Liver Disease(MELD)score and Child Turcotte Pugh(CTP)class.The following pre-and post-TIPS echocardiographic determinations were recorded:Left ventricular ejection fraction,right ventricular(RV)systolic pressure,subjective RV dilation,and subjective RV function.We recorded the following hemodynamic measurements:Right atrial(RA)pressure before and after TIPS,inferior vena cava pressure before and after TIPS,free hepatic vein pressure,portal vein pressure before and after TIPS,and hepatic venous pressure gradient(HVPG).RESULTS:We reviewed 418 patients with portal hypertension undergoing TIPS.RA pressure increased by a mean ± SD of 4.8 ± 3.9 mmH g(P < 0.001),HVPG decreased by 6.8 ± 3.5 mmH g(P < 0.001).In multivariate linear regression analysis,a higher MELD score,lower platelet count,splenectomy and a higher portal vein pressure were independent predictors of higher RA pressure(R = 0.55).Three variables predicted 3-mo mortality after TIPS in a multivariate analysis:Age,MELD score,and CTP grade C.Change in the RA pressure after TIPS predicted long-term mortality(per 1 mm Hg change,HR = 1.03,95%CI:1.01-1.06,P < 0.012).CONCLUSION:RA pressure increased immediately after TIPS particularly in patients with worse liver function,portal hypertension,emergent TIPS placement and history of splenectomy.The increase in RA pressure after TIPS was associated with increased mortality.Age,splenectomy,MELD score and CTP grade were independent predictors of long-term mortality after TIPS. | Mona Ascha Sami Abuqayyas Ibrahim Hanouneh Laith Alkukhun Mark Sands Raed A Dweik Adriano R Tonelli | 2016 | World Journal of Hepatology2016,8,11: | 13 |

| 3 | 流场环境对柔性立管湿模态的影响显示文摘为了研究静水压力和瞬态流场载荷对三维柔性立管湿模态的影响,本文基于声-固耦合模型对考虑水介质、顶张力情况下的立管进行湿模态计算,并与理论计算结果以及实验数据对比,验证了该模型的准确性;采用不考虑流-固耦合的计算流体力学(computational fluid dynamics,CFD)方法和考虑流固双向耦合的计算流体力学/计算结构力学(computational fluid dynamics/computational structure dynamics,CFD/CSD)方法分别计算了立管的瞬态流场载荷,并与实验数据对比;将水深产生的静水压力和瞬态流场载荷分别加载到三维柔性立管表面进行静力学分析,计算其湿模态。计算结果表明:立管湿模态频率比干模态频率小很多,且随着顶张力增大而增大;静水压力和瞬态流场载荷都使得湿模态频率略微增加;静水压力和瞬态流场载荷对湿模态低阶振型影响较大,对高阶振型几乎没有影响。 | 陈东阳 Laith K.Abbas 王国平 芮筱亭 | 2017 | 哈尔滨工程大学学报2017,38,10: | 6 |
| 4 | Comparison of the Morphology,Structures and Mechanical Properties of Teleost Fish Scales Collected from New Zealand显示文摘The mechanical properties and structures of fish scales have generated considerable research interest,however,comparative studies for different fish scales from difl^rent water regions have not been reported.In this paper,the surface morphologies,hierarchical structures and mechanical properties of four kinds of fish scales collected from freshwater,shallow sea,and deep sea in New Zealand are investigated.The results indicate that the surface morphologies of those fish scales are similar at ventro-lateral,dorso-lateral and anterior locations,and the hierarchical structures of those fish scales all consist of two layers:a bone layer and a collagen layer composed of collagen fibrils.However,the spiral angles of the collagen lamellaes of different scales are different.The largest are Mugil cephalus scales,while the smallest are Cyprinus carpio scales.Comparing the mechanical behaviors of those fish scales,the tensile strength of Carassius auratus scales is the largest,but the ductility is the lowest.Pristipomoides sieboldii scales have the best ductility.Further,the relationship between hierarchical structures and mechanical properties of fish scales is discussed.It is found that the spiral angles of the collagen lamellaes and bond/collagen thickness ratio both have a great influence on the mechanical properties of fish scales. | Deju Zhu Chaohui Zhang Peng Liu Laith A.Jawad | 2019 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2019,16,2: | 6 |

| 9 | Transfer matrix method for determination of the natural vibration characteristics of elastically coupled launch vehicle boosters显示文摘The analysis of natural vibration characteristics has become one of important steps of the manufacture and dynamicdesignintheaerospaceindustry.Thispaperpresents a new scenario called virtual cutting in the context of the transfer matrix method of linear multibody systems closedlooptopologyforcomputingthefreevibrationcharacteristics of elastically coupled fl xible launch vehicle boosters. In this approach, the coupled system is idealized as a triple-beam system-like structure coupled by linear translational springs,where a non-uniform free-free Euler–Bernoulli beam is used.A large thrust-to-weight ratio leads to large axial accelerations that result in an axial inertia load distribution from nose to tail. Consequently, it causes the development of significan compressive forces along the length of the launch vehicle.Therefore, it is important to take into account this effect in the transverse vibration model. This scenario does not need the global dynamics equations of a system, and it has high computational efficien y and low memory requirements.
