1Prevalence of HIV Indeterminate Western Blot Tests and Follow-up of HIV Antibody Sero-Conversion in Southeastern China显示文摘HIV-indeterminate Western blotting(WB)results are typically obtained in WB confirmatory assays,and the number of indeterminate samples may increase with the detection of HIV infections,which will present considerable challenges for the management of HIV/AIDS.Nucleic acid detection has been used as a laboratory test for screening suspected or indeterminate samples.However,the effectiveness of these assays for the differential diagnosis of HIV-indeterminate WB samples remained undetermined.In this study,210 subjects with HIV-indeterminate WB results were detected from 6360 positive HIV screening samples between 2015 and 2016 in southeastern China,in which HIV-indeterminate WB results accounted for 3.30%.The highest proportion of indeterminate results was observed in pregnant and lying-in women receiving physical examinations(16.67%),followed by that in voluntary blood donors(8.82%).The most common WB band patterns were p24,gpl60 and p24,and gpl60.The follow-up study revealed that the highest negative and positive conversion rates of HIV antibodies were in samples with a single p24 band(80.28%),and with gpl60 and p24 bands(86.21%),respectively.Among the Env,Gag,and Pol antibodies,samples with a Gag band showed the highest negative conversion rate(81.25%),whereas the highest positive conversion rate was observed in samples with an Env band(56.76%).In addition,quantitative and qualitative HIV nucleic acid testing exhibited the highest sensitivity(96.3%)and specificity(97.85%),respectively.Our results indicate a lower proportion of HIV indeterminate WB results in southeastern China compared to previous reports,and the follow-up re-examination of patients with HIV indeterminate results should be performed.Nucleic acid testing facilitates the identification of HIV infections.Shouli Wu Min Gao Jian Zheng Pingping Yan Wei Wang Xiaoli Lu Yuefeng Qiu Yansheng Yan 2019Virologica Sinica2019,34,4:15
2Image retrieval based on multi-concept detector and semantic correlation显示文摘With the rapid development of future network, there has been an explosive growth in multimedia data such as web images. Hence, an efficient image retrieval engine is necessary. Previous studies concentrate on the single concept image retrieval, which has limited practical usability. In practice, users always employ an Internet image retrieval system with multi-concept queries, but, the related existing approaches are often ineffective because the only combination of single-concept query techniques is adopted. At present semantic concept based multi-concept image retrieval is becoming an urgent issue to be solved. In this paper, a novel Multi-Concept image Retrieval Model(MCRM) based on the multi-concept detector is proposed, which takes a multi-concept as a whole and directly learns each multi-concept from the rearranged multi-concept training set. After the corresponding retrieval algorithm is presented, and the log-likelihood function of predictions is maximized by the gradient descent approach. Besides, semantic correlations among single-concepts and multiconcepts are employed to improve the retrieval performance, in which the semantic correlation probability is estimated with three correlation measures, and the visual evidence is expressed by Bayes theorem, estimated by Support Vector Machine(SVM). Experimental results on Corel and IAPR data sets show that the approach outperforms the state-of-the-arts. 3ANALYSIS OF SOIL EROSION CHARACTERISTICS AND SEDIMENT SOURCES FOR THE YANTZE THREE GORGES REGION显示文摘In this paper the researches made in 1981-1990 have identified that the annual soil loss in the Three Gorges region is 157 million t. and the annual incoming sediment load of the Three Gorges reservoir is 40 million t. Soil erosion increases with the destruction of vegetative cover and its subsequent evolution. The annual amounts of sediment erosion for forest land, shrub land, grassland and farmland make up respectively 6.19%, 10.76%, 23.05% and 60% of the total erosion of the Three Gorges region; the quantities of incoming sediment load to the Yangtze River from the above four types of land account for 5.95%, 12.42%, 35.46% and 46.1 % of the total amount of sediment transported to the reservoir. The farmland of offers the main source of sediment. Gravitational erosion produces more bed loads, which will present serious threat to the Three Gorges Project if entering the reservoir. Resettlement of people to the upper parts of the mountainous areas for agricultural production will increase the sediment yield of the Three Gorges region by 10-20 million t and increase the incoming sediment of the Yangtze River by 50-60 million t. 4Experiments and simulations of gas-solid flow in an airlift loop reactor显示文摘The hydrodynamics in a gas-solid airlift loop reactor was investigated systematically using experimental measurements and CFD simulation.In the experiments,the time averaged parameters,such as solid fraction and particle velocity,were measured by optical fiber probe.In the simulation,the modified Gidaspow drag model accounting for the interparticles clustering was incorporated into the Eulerian-Eulerian CFD model with particulate-phase kinetic theory.Predicted values of solid fraction and particle velocity were compared with experimental results,validating the drag model and the simulation.The results show that the profiles of particle velocity and solid fraction are uniform in annulus.However,the core-annulus structure appears in other three regions (draft tube region,bottom region and particle diffluence region),which presents the similar heterogeneous feature of aggregative fluidization usually occurred in normal fluidized beds.Simulated profiles of particle residence time distribution indicate that the airlift loop reactor should be characterized by near perfect mixing.Chaoyu Yan Chunxi Lu Yiping Fan Rui Cao Yansheng Liu 2011Particuology2011,9,2:2

6Effect of Carbon on the Paramagnetic-Antiferromagnetic Transition and γ→εMartensitic Transformation of Fe-24Mn Alloys显示文摘The effect of C content (0.014-0.39 wt pct) on the paramagnetic-antiferromagnetic transition and γ→ε martensitic transformation of Fe-24Mn alloys has been investigated by the resistivity, dilation, tensile properties measurement and microstructure examination. The results have shown that C decreases T_N; increases the thermal expansion coefficients both above and below the T_N; increases the resistivity above the T_N and antiferromagnetic scattering resistivity below T_N. It strongly depresses the γ→ε martensitic transformation and reduces the M_s of Fe-24Mn alloys. Moreover, it increases the lattice parameter of austenite, enhances the tensile ductility, but almost does not affect the tensile strength. 9A Modularity Analysis Method for Forum Situation Prediction显示文摘A forum is a social network that consists of posters and the following comments made by netizens. Generally speaking, forum topics are evolving over time dynamically. In this paper, based on time series analysis and matrix modularity analysis, a novel prediction method is proposed through investigating the correlating influence of three key measurements: relationship strength, pillars, and change frequency of a forum topic. The method demonstrates that there exist some macroscopic and potential laws for forum situation prediction. 16FICW: Frequent Itemset Based Text Clustering with Window Constraint显示文摘Most of the existing text clustering algorithms overlook the fact that one document is a word sequence with semantic information. There is some important semantic information existed in the positions of words in the sequence. In this paper, a novel method named Frequent Itemset-based Clustering with Window (FICW) was proposed, which makes use of the semantic information for text clustering with a window constraint. 19Efficient Evaluation of Monitoring Top-t Most Influential Places显示文摘The continuous top-t most influential place (CTtMIP) query is defined formally and solved efficiently in this paper. A CTtMIP query continuously monitors the t places with the maximum influence from the set of places, where the influence of a place is defined as the number of its bichromatic reverse k nearest neighbors (BRkNNs). Two new metrics and their corresponding rules are introduced to shrink the search region and reduce the candidates of BRkNNs checked.
