| 2 | Effect of Zhu-yuan decoction in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis after functional endoscopic sinus surgery显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effectiveness and safety of Zhu-yuan decoction(ZYD) in patients after functional endoscopic sinus surgery(FESS).METHODS: A total of 85 patients were randomized into two groups: 44 were treated with intranasal corticosteroids(INC), and 41 were given Chinese herbal medicine(CHM). Patients with chronic rhinosinusitis(CRS) who underwent FESS were prospectively enrolled in the study. Before surgery, they were evaluated by visual analog scale(VAS), nasal endoscopy, computed tomography(CT), and routine blood test. After surgery, they were randomized to take ZYD or INC for 12 weeks and revaluated by VAS; nasal endoscopy at 4, 8, and 12 weeks;and CT at 12 weeks after surgery.RESULTS: In the both groups, VAS and endoscopyscores decreased significantly at 4, 8, and 12 weeks,and CT scores after treatment declined at 12 weeks compared with baseline scores. No significant differences were observed with regard to postoperative VAS, endoscopy, or CT scores between groups.ZYD, combined with surgery, can reduce VAS, nasal endoscopy, and CT scores and has the same efficacy and safety profile as INC in post-FESS management.No fatalities or major adverse events occurred in either group.CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that ZYD has similar effects and safety profiles in patients after FESS compared with INC. | Li Jing Zheng Chunquan Lin Hai Yang Chen Gu Siyuan Wang Yi Duan Honggang | 2018 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,1: | 3 |

The current density distribution field is evaluated by numerically solving Maxwell equations in the domain of the workpiece. In the boundary condition, the current density on. the workpiece surface is assumed as Gaussian distribution. | 5 | Comparison of dimension reduction-based logistic regression models for case-control genome-wide association study:principal components analysis vs.partial least squares显示文摘With recent advances in biotechnology, genome-wide association study(GWAS) has been widely used to identify genetic variants that underlie human complex diseases and traits. In case-control GWAS, typical statistical strategy is traditional logistical regression(LR) based on single-locus analysis. However, such a single-locus analysis leads to the well-known multiplicity problem, with a risk of inflating type I error and reducing power. Dimension reduction-based techniques, such as principal component-based logistic regression(PC-LR), partial least squares-based logistic regression(PLS-LR), have recently gained much attention in the analysis of high dimensional genomic data. However, the perfor?mance of these methods is still not clear, especially in GWAS. We conducted simulations and real data application to compare the type I error and power of PC-LR, PLS-LR and LR applicable to GWAS within a defined single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) set region. We found that PC-LR and PLS can reasonably control type I error under null hypothesis.On contrast, LR, which is corrected by Bonferroni method, was more conserved in all simulation settings. In particular, we found that PC-LR and PLS-LR had comparable power and they both outperformed LR, especially when the causal SNP was in high linkage disequilibrium with genotyped ones and with a small effective size in simulation. | 6 | Current Density Distribution in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Process显示文摘Heat transfer and fluid flow in a weld pool had been simulated for several decades, which underwent from theoretically analysis to numerical solutions. Because of the complexity of the welding process, many ideal assumptions were made to simplify the question. This makes the solution somewhat not complied with the practical conditions. In previous papers, the current distribution in the weld pool is assumed as axi-symmetrical, and so does the electromagnetic forces, which plays an important role in determining the fluid flow field. Actually the current distribution is different from the assumption. In this paper; a three dimensional current distribution in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) process is performed. The current density distribution field is evaluated by numerically solving Maxwell’s equations in the domain of the workpiece. In the boundary condition, the current density on the top surface is assumed as Gaussian distribution. | 7 | Cyclicity related to solar activity in lacustrine organic-rich shales and their significance to shale-oil reservoir formation显示文摘The formation mechanism of micron-to centimeter-scale sedimentary cycles in lacustrine shales is a hot topic of research,because these small-scale sedimentary cycles significantly influence shale-oil distribution heterogeneity.High-frequency paleoenvironmental evolution is an important controlling factor for the formation of small-scale sedimentary cycles.However,the driving factors of high-frequency paleoenvironmental evolution and the formation process of sedimentary cycles under its constraint remain speculative.In this study,which focuses on lacustrine shales,we find that the alternating deposition of variable thickness of organic-rich lamina(ORL)and silty-grained felsic lamina(SSFL)form sedimentary cycles on the micron to centimeter scale in the Chang 73 sub-member of the Yanchang Formation in the Ordos Basin.Based on detailed petrographic characterization,in-situ geochemical parameter testing,and high-resolution cycle analysis,the formation process of cyclical sedimentary records and related paleoenvironmental evolution are investigated.Three solar activity cycles were identified from the shales,namely the 360–500 yr,81–110 yr,and 30–57 yr cycles(cycles I,II,and III,respectively).Highfrequency paleoenvironmental evolution caused by solar activity induced lake-level fluctuation,which further controlled silty-grained sediment deposition and organic matter preservation in deep lake areas.Cycle I controlled relatively long-term lake-level fluctuation,driving several pairs of SSFL and ORL deposition at the centimeter scale.Cycles II and III were short-term cycles and acted on the millimeter to micrometer scale,further complicating the sedimentary strata forming during the period of lake-level fall induced by cycle I.The cyclic deposition of SSFL and ORL correspond to cycle III.Lake-level fluctuation influenced by cycle II mainly caused SSFL thickness variation in each lamina couplet.During the period of lake-level rise induced by cycle I,periods of lake level rise during cycles II,and III show cyclic variation in reducibility,and are not thought to control the supply of coarse-grained sediments in to the deep lake areas.Frequent lake-level fluctuation promotes lamina couplet formation in thickly-bedded shales,which creates favorable conditions for shale-oil accumulation.Oil produced from ORL can migrate-locally into dissolved feldspar porosity in SSFL and therefore is able to accumulate in shales,which creates high potential for future oil exploration in thickly-bedded lacustrine shales. | Miruo Lin Kelai Xi Yingchang Cao Rukai Zhu Xiaobing Niu Honggang Xin Weijiao Ma | 2023 | Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,5: | 1 |

KMOV based on elliptic curve En(a,b) over Zn can resist LPEA but still has homomorphism. QV over En(a,b) not only can resist LPEA but also has no homomorphism. However,QV over En(a,b) requires the existence of points whose order is Mn= lcm{#Ep(a,b),#Eq(a,b)}. This requirement is impractical for all general elliptic curves. Besides,the computation over En(a,b) is quite complicated. In this paper,we further study conic curve Cn(a,b) over Zn and its corresponding properties,and advance several key theorems and corollaries for designing digital signature schemes,and point out that Cn(a,b) always has some points whose order is Mn= lcm{#Ep(a,b),#Eq(a,b)}. Thereby we present an improved QV signature over Cn(a,b),which inherits the property of non-homomorphism and can resist the Wiener attack. Furthermore,under the same security requirements,the improved QV scheme is easier than that over En(a,b),with respect plaintext embedding,inverse elements computation,points computation and points' order calculation. | 14 | Constructing Pd-N interactions in Pd/g-C_(3)N_(4)to improve the charge dynamics for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘The formation of chemical bonds between metal ions and their supports is an effective strategy to achieve good catalytic activity.However,both the synthesis of active metal species on a support and control of their coordination environment are still challenging.Here,we show the use of an organic compound to produce tubular carbon nitride(TCN)as a support for Pd nanoparticles(NPs),creating a composite material(NP-Pd-TCN).It was found that Pd ions preferentially bind with the electron-rich N atoms of TCN,leading to strong metal-support interactions that benefit charge transfer from g-C_(3)N_(4)to Pd.X-ray absorption spectroscopy further revealed that the metal-support interactions resulted in the formation of Pd-N bonds,which are responsible for the improvement in the charge dynamics as evidenced by the results from various techniques including photoluminescence(PL)spectroscopy,photocurrent measurements,and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).Owing to the good dynamical properties,NP-Pd-TCN was used for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution under visible-light irradiation(λ>420 nm)and an excellent evolution rate of~381μmol·h^(-1)(0.02 g of the photocatalyst)was attained.This work aims to promote a strategy to synthesize efficient photocatalysts for hydrogen production by controllably introducing metal nanoparticles on a support and in the meantime forming chemical bonds to achieve intimate metal-support contact. | Xudong Xiao Siying Lin Liping Zhang Huiyuan Meng Jing Zhou Qi Li Jianan Liu Panzhe Qiao Baojiang Jiang Honggang Fu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,4: | 1 |

| 17 | Factors affecting the distribution of microplastics in soils of China显示文摘Microplastics(MPs)are found worldwide in high abundance,posing a potential threat to ecosystems.Despite the ubiquity of MPs in the environment,very little is known about the regional distribution of MPs and underlying factors affecting this distribution in the field,which likely include human activity,but also features of the environment itself.Here,out of a total of 1157 datapoints investigated in 53 Chinese studies,9.68%datapoints were removed as outliers in the heterogeneity analysis.This review revealed that the abundance of MPs was highly heterogeneous.In addition,microplastic(MP)distribution maps based on China demonstrated that the highest abundance of MPs tended to occur near large rivers and central land affected by the intersection of two monsoons.The model-fitting and previous studies showed that MP abundance in China was correlated with longitude,agricultural mulching film usage per capita,temperature,and precipitation.However,due to the heterogeneity of MPs and the low matching degree between the current environmental data and the sampling points,this pattern was not as evident as reported in any single study.Factors affecting the distribution of MPs can not be captured by linear relationships alone,and systematic selection of suitable environmental factors and further model optimization are needed to explore the cause of MP pollution in soil.Overall,this review revealed an uneven distribution of MPs and serves as a reference for model prediction to assess and control plastic pollution in natural soil environments. | Yin Liu Matthias CRillig Quan Liu Jingjing Huang Muhammad Amjad Khan Xiaohui Li Qin Liu Qingqing Wang Xuesong Su Linyi Lin Yang Bai Genmao Guo Yi Huang Yong Sik Ok Shan Hu Junfeng Wang Honggang Ni Qing Huang | 2023 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,9: | 1 |
| 18 | Energy‐based analysis of seismic damage mechanism of multi‐anchor piles in tunnel crossing landslide area显示文摘To study the damage mechanism of multi‐anchor piles in tunnel crossing landslide area under earthquake,the damping performance of multi‐anchor piles was discussed.The energy dissipation springs were used as the optimization device of the anchor head to carry out the shaking table comparison test on the reinforced slope.The Hilbert spectrum and Hilbert marginal spectrum were proposed to analyze the seismic damage mechanism of the multi‐anchor piles,and the peak Fourier spectrum amplitude(PFSA)was used to verify the effectiveness of the method.The results show that the seismic energy is concentrated in the high‐frequency component(30-40Hz)of the Hilbert spectrum and the low‐frequency component(12-30 Hz)of the marginal spectrum.This indicates that they can be combined with the distribution law of the PFSA to identify the overall and local dynamic responses of the multi‐anchored piles,respectively.The stretchable deformation of the energy‐dissipation springs improves the coordination of the multi‐anchor piles,resulting in better pile integrity.The damage mechanism of the multi‐anchor piles is elucidated based on the energy method:local damage at the top and middle areas of the multi‐anchor piles is mainly caused by the low‐frequency component(12-30 Hz)of the marginal spectrum under the action of 0.15g and 0.20g seismic intensities.As the seismic intensity increases to 0.30g,the dynamic response of the slope is further amplified by the high‐frequency component(30-40 Hz)of the Hilbert energy spectrum,which leads to the overall damage of the multi‐anchor piles. | Hong Wei Honggang Wu Guojun Ren Lin Tang Kang Feng | 2023 | Deep Underground Science and Engineering2023,2,3: | 1 |
| 19 | Local sustained release of PD-1 monoclonal antibody and lenvatinib by thermo-sensitive hydrogel for improving tumor immunotherapy显示文摘In clinic,the combination of intravenous pembrolizumab(PD-1 monoclonal antibody)with oral Lenvatinib(LEN)exhibited an enhanced synergistic benefit for cancer therapy.However,the clinical outcomes were always limited by the problems of inconsistent pharmacokinetic profiles of two drugs,lower drug accumulation in tumor and obvious side effects during the combination therapy.Here,in situ-forming thermosensitive hydrogels based on PLGA-PEG-PLGA triblock copolymers were prepared for local administration of anti-PD1 and LEN(P&L@Gel)to improve therapeutic efficacy and safety.After peritumoral or surgical resection site injection,the significant increased concentrations of both drugs in tumor were observed with the local sustained release of P&L@Gel.In comparison with the group of intraperitoneal anti-PD1 plus oral LEN(P-ip&L-po),significantly higher tumor inhibition efficiency on CT26 tumor models could be obtained in P&L@Gel group,even at the dose of one-eighth of the former,same tumorinhibition effects could be achieved.The enhanced antitumor efficacy of P&L@Gel group was probably associated with the 2.2 folds of increased level of CD8+T cells and the polarization of tumor associated macrophage from M2 to M1 along with the increased drug accumulation.Moreover,compared with the obvious side effects of P-ip&L-po group,no significant changes of PLT,ALT and UA in blood,as well as IL-1αand IL-1βin mice paws were observed between P&L@Gel group and untreated group.These results suggested that local administration of anti-PD1 and LEN with thermosensitive hydrogel could offer a potential strategy for tumors or tumor postoperative adjuvant treatment. | Lin Zhai Yujie Shi Yi Yan An Lu Xiaoyu Liu Lei Lei Yi Sun Linxia Jiang Xiangyu Wang Honggang Qian Jiancheng Wang | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,8: | 0 |

So electromagnetic force is very important,especially when large current is applied. In most of previous models, the electromagnetic force is calculated analytically,in which only the axial component of current is considered. Actually the radial component of current has thesame effect, and may be advanced in some locations. In double-sided arc welding process, instead of the earthclamp, another torch is placed on the opposite side; the current will go from one torch, through the weld zone,to another torch. In this case, the current is more concentrated in the weld zone; the electromagnetic force willhave significant effect compared with conventional welding process. In this paper, a new method of numericalcalculation for electromagnetic force is developed, in which both axial and radial components are considered. And asan example, the distribution of electromagnetic force in double-sided arc welding is calculated.
