Regional Tectonic Transformation in East Kunlun Orogenic Belt in Early Paleozoic: Constraints from the Geochronology and Geochemistry of Helegangnaren Alkali-feldspar Granite显示文摘The Helegangnaren feldspar granite exposed in the eastern part of East Kunlun, is characterized by high concentrations of SiO2 and alkaline, low abundances of Fe, Mg and Ca, metaluminous-weak peraluminous. Trace elements analysis shows that the granite is depleted extremely in Ba, Sr and Eu, and rich in some large-ion lithophile elements and high field strength elements. Besides, the granite has high Ga contents, the values of 104 (Ga/Al) vary from 2.50 to 2.77, which is mainly greater than the lower limit of A-type granites (2.6), and is higher than the I-and S-type granites' average (2.1 and 2.28, respectively). Rare earth element (REE) is characterized by relatively high fractionations of light REE (LREE) and heavy REE (HREE) (LREE/HREE=9.3-13.60, (La/Yb)N =10.92-18.02), pronounced negative Eu anomalies (δEu=0.08-0.13), and exhibits right-dipping gull pattern. Major elements, rare elements and trace elements features show the granite is ascribed to A-type granite and A2 subtype in tectonic genetic type. They are plotted into post-collision or within-plate area in a variety of tectonic discriminations. Geological and geochemical data comprehensively suggest that the granite is formed in a post-collision extensive tectonic setting. Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) zircon U-Pb dating yields a weighted mean age of 425 Ma, belonging to Middle Silurian, which is similar to the age of the post-collision geological events in the region. The differences of magmatic rocks in formation age, rocks assemblage and rocks series systematically indicate that the regional tectonic stress regime in the East Kunlun orogenic belt experienced a major transformation from compress to extension in Middle Silurianin, and the Helegangnaren feldspar granite intruded in the early stage of tectonic transformation. | LI Ruibao PEI Xianzhi LI Zhuochen SUN Yu PEI Lei CHEN Guochao CHEN Youxin LIU Chengjun WEI Fanghui | 2013 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,2: | 35
Paleo-Tethyan Oceanic Crust Subduction in the Eastern Section of the East Kunlun Orogenic Belt:Geochronology and Petrogenesis of the Qushi'ang Granodiorite显示文摘The Qushi'ang granodiorite(QSG) is located at the central east of the ophiolitic melange belt in the East Kunlun Orogenic Belt(EKOB) in the northern margin of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. LA-MC-ICP-MS zircon U–Pb dating suggests that the granodiorite and mafic microgranular enclaves(MMEs) crystallized 246.61±0.62 and 245.45±0.9 Ma ago, respectively. Granodiorite, porphyritic diorite, and MMEs are metaluminous and medium-K calk-alkaline series, with island-arc magma features, such as LILE enrichment and HFSE depletion. The porphyritic diorite has high Cr(13.50 ppm to 59.01 ppm), Ni(228.53 ppm to 261.29 ppm), and Mg~#(46–54). Granodiorite and porphyritic diorite have similar mineral compositions and evolved major and trace elements contents, particularly Cr and Ni, both of which are significantly higher than that in granites of the same period. The crystallization age of MMEs is close to that of granodiorite, and their major and trace elements contents are in-between porphyritic diorite and granodiorite. The results suggest that the original mafic magma, which was the product of mantle melting by subduction process, intruded into the lower crust(Kuhai Rock Group), resulting in the formation of granodiorite. Countinous intrusion of mafic magma into the unconsolidated granodiorite formed MMEs and porphyritic diorite. The granodiorite reformed by late-stage strike-slip faulting tectonic event indicates that the strike-slip fault of Middle Kunlun and the collision of the Bayanhar block with East Kunlun were later than 246 Ma. Therefore, the formation of the QSG not only indicates the critical period of evolution of East Kunlun but also represents the tectonic transition from oceanic crust subduction to slab breaking. | CHEN Guochao PEI Xianzhi LI Ruibao LI Zuochen LIU Chengjun CHEN Youxin PEI Lei WANG Meng LI Xiaobing | 2017 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,2: | 14

Geochemical Features, Age, and Tectonic Significance of the Kekekete Mafic-ultramafic Rocks, East Kunlun Orogen, China显示文摘The Kekekete mafic-ultramafic rocks are exposed in the Kekesha-Kekekete-Dawate area, which are in the eastern part of the East Kunlun Orogenic Belt.It outcrops as tectonic slices intruding tectonically in the Paleoproterozoic Baishahe Group and the Paleozoic Nachitai Group. The Kekekete mafic and ultramafic rocks is located near the central fault in East Kunlun and lithologically mainly consists of serpentinite, augite peridotite, and gabbro. The LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb age of the gabbro is 501±7 Ma,indicating that Kekekete mafic-ultramafic rocks formed in the Middle Cambrian. This rock assemblage is relatively poor in SiO2 and(Na2 O+K2 O) but rich in MgO and SFeO.The chondrite-normalized REE patterns of the gabbro dip slightly to the right;the primitive mantle and MORBnormalized spidergrams of trace elements show enrichment of large-ion lithophile elements(Cs,Rb,Ba,etc.) and no differentiation of high field strength elements. The general dominance of E-MORB features and the geochemical characteristics of OIB suggest that the Kekekete mafic-ultramafic rocks formed in an initial oceanic basin with slightly enriched mantle being featured by varying degrees of mixing of N-MORB depleted mantle and a similar-OIB-type source. From a comprehensive study of the previous data, the author believes that the tectonic history of the East Kunlun region was controlled by a geodynamic system of rifting and extension in the late stages of the Neoproterozoic to early stages of the Early Paleozoic and this formed the paleo-oceanic basin or rift system now represented by the ophiolites along the central fault in East Kunlun, the Kekekete mafic-ultramafic rocks and Delisitan ophiolite. | LI Ruibao PEI Xianzhi LI Zuochen SUN Yu FENG Jianyong PEI Lei CHEN Guochao LIU Chengjun CHEN Youxin | 2013 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,5: | 13
U–Pb Zircon Geochronology and Geochemistry of the Neoproterozoic Liujiaping Group Volcanics in the Northwest Margin of the Yangtze Block:Implications For the Breakup of the Rodinia Supercontinent显示文摘Investigation of the petrogenesis and the origin of zircons from the volcanic rocks of the Liujiaping Group of the back-Longmenshan tectonic belt in the northwest margin of the Yangtze Block is conducted by analysis of U–Pb geochronology and geochemistry. Results show that selected zircons are characterized by internal oscillatory zonings and high Th/U ratios(0.43–1.18), indicating an igneous origin. Geochronological results of LA–ICP–MS U–Pb dating of the Liujiaping Group zircons yield an age of 809 ± 11 Ma(MSWD = 2.2), implying that the volcanic rocks were formed in the Late Neoproterozoic. Geochemical analysis shows that the rocks are calc-alkaline, supersaturated in Al, and metaluminous to weakly peraluminous. Rare-earth elements are present at high concentrations(96.04–265.48 ppm) and show a rightward incline and a moderately negative Eu anomaly, similar to that of continental rift rhyolite. Trace element geochemistry is characterized by evident negative anomalies of Nb, Ta, P, Th, Ti, inter alia, and strong negative anomalies of K, Rb, Sr, et al. We conclude that the Liujiaping Group volcanic rocks resulted from typical continental crust source petrogenesis and were formed in a continental margin setting, which had no relation to subduction, and thus, were the products of partial melting of the lower crust due to crustal thickening caused by active continental margin subduction and arc–continent collision orogeny in the northwestern Yangtze Block and were triggered by the breakup of the Rodinia supercontinent during the Neoproterozoic. | LI Zuochen PEI Xianzhi LI Ruibao PEI Lei LIU Chengjun CHEN Youxin XU Tong YANG Jie WEI Bo | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,4: | 8

Geochronology, Geochemistry and Tectonic Setting of the Bairiqiete Granodiorite Intrusion(Rock Mass) from the Buqingshan Tectonic Mélange Belt in the Southern Margin of East Kunlun显示文摘This study focuses on the zircon U–Pb geochronology and geochemistry of the Bairiqiete granodiorite intrusion(rock mass) from the Buqingshan tectonic mélange belt in the southern margin of East Kunlun. The results show that the zircons are characterized by internal oscillatory zoning and high Th/U(0.14–0.80), indicative of an igneous origin. LA–ICP–MS U–Pb dating of zircons from the Bairiqiete granodiorite yielded an age of 439.0 ± 1.9 Ma(MSWD = 0.34), implying that the Bairiqiete granodiorite formed in the early Silurian. Geochemical analyses show that the rocks are medium-K calc-alkaline, relatively high in Al2O3(14.57–18.34 wt%) and metaluminous to weakly peraluminous. Rare-earth elements have low concentrations(45.49–168.31 ppm) and incline rightward with weak negative to weak positive Eu anomalies(δEu = 0.64–1.34). Trace-element geochemistry is characterized by negative anomalies of Nb, Ta, Zr, Hf and Ti and positive anomalies of Rb, Th and Ba. Moreover, the rocks have similar geochemical features with adakites. The Bairiqiete granodiorite appears to have a continental crust source and formed in a subduction-related island-arc setting. The Bairiqiete granodiorite was formed due to partial melting of the lower crust and suggests subduction in the Buqingshan area of the Proto-Tethys Ocean. | LI Zuochen PEI Xianzhi LI Ruibao PEI Lei LIU Chengjun CHEN Youxin LIU Zhanqing CHEN Guochao XU Tong YANG Jie WEI Bo | 2014 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,2: | 5

Biomarkers of aging显示文摘Aging biomarkers are a combination of biological parameters to(i)assess age-related changes,(ii)track the physiological aging process, and(iii)predict the transition into a pathological status.Although a broad spectrum of aging biomarkers has been developed, their potential uses and limitations remain poorly characterized. An immediate goal of biomarkers is to help us answer the following three fundamental questions in aging research:How old are we?Why do we get old?And how can we age slower? This review aims to address this need. Here,we summarize our current knowledge of biomarkers developed for cellular, organ, and organismal levels of aging, comprising six pillars:physiological characteristics, medical imaging, histological features, cellular alterations, molecular changes, and secretory factors. To fulfill all these requisites,we propose that aging biomarkers should qualify for being specific, systemic, and clinically relevant. | Aging Biomarker Consortium Hainan Bao Jiani Cao Mengting Chen Min Chen Wei Chen Xiao Chen Yanhao Chen Yu Chen Yutian Chen Zhiyang Chen Jagadish K Chhetri Yingjie Ding Junlin Feng Jun Guo Mengmeng Guo Chuting He Yujuan Jia Haiping Jiang Ying Jing Dingfeng Li Jiaming Li Jingyi Li Qinhao Liang Rui Liang Feng Liu Xiaoqian Liu Zuojun Liu Oscar Junhong Luo Jianwei Lv Jingyi Ma Kehang Mao Jiawei Nie Xinhua Qiao Xinpei Sun Xiaoqiang Tang Jianfang Wang Qiaoran Wang Siyuan Wang Xuan Wang Yaning Wang Yuhan Wang Rimo Wu Kai Xia Fu-Hui Xiao Lingyan Xu Yingying Xu Haoteng Yan Liang Yang Ruici Yang Yuanxin Yang Yilin Ying Le Zhang Weiwei Zhang Wenwan Zhang Xing Zhang Zhuo Zhang Min Zhou Rui Zhou Qingchen Zhu Zhengmao Zhu Feng Cao Zhongwei Cao Piu Chan Chang Chen Guobing Chen Hou-Zao Chen Jun Chen Weimin Ci Bi-Sen Ding Qiurong Ding Feng Gao Jing-Dong JHan Kai Huang Zhenyu Ju Qing-Peng Kong Ji Li Jian Li Xin Li Baohua Liu Feng Liu Lin Liu Qiang Liu Qiang Liu Xingguo Liu Yong Liu Xianghang Luo Shuai Ma Xinran Ma Zhiyong Mao Jing Nie Yaojin Peng Jing Qu Jie Ren Ruibao Ren Moshi Song Zhou Songyang Yi Eve Sun Yu Sun Mei Tian Shusen Wang Si Wang Xia Wang Xiaoning Wang Yan-Jiang Wang Yunfang Wang Catherine CL Wong Andy Peng Xiang Yichuan Xiao Zhengwei Xie Daichao Xu Jing Ye Rui Yue Cuntai Zhang Hongbo Zhang Liang Zhang Weiqi Zhang Yong Zhang Yun-Wu Zhang Zhuohua Zhang Tongbiao Zhao Yuzheng Zhao Dahai Zhu Weiguo Zou Gang Pei Guang-Hui Liu | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,5: | 2
Comparison of UV-based advanced oxidation processes for the removal of different fractions of NOM from drinking water显示文摘This study examined the effectiveness for degradation of hydrophobic (HPO),transphilic(TPI) and hydrophilic (HPI) fractions of natural organic matter (NOM) during UV/H_(2)O_(2),UV/TiO_(2)and UV/K2S2O8(UV/PS) advanced oxidation processes (AOPs).The changing characteristics of NOM were evaluated by dissolved organic carbon (DOC),the specific UV absorbance (SUVA),trihalomethanes formation potential (THMFP),organic halogen adsorbable on activated carbon formation potential (AOXFP) and parallel factor analysis of excitation–emission matrices (PARAFAC-EEMs).In the three UV-based AOPs,HPI fraction with low molecular weight and aromaticity was more likely to degradate than HPO and TPI,and the removal efficiency of SUVA for HPO was much higher than TPI and HPI fraction. In terms of the specific THMFP of HPO,TPI and HPI,a reduction was achieved in the UV/H_(2)O_(2)process,and the higest removal rate even reached to 83%.UV/TiO_(2)and UV/PS processes can only decrease the specific THMFP of HPI.The specific AOXFP of HPO,TPI and HPI fractions were all able to be degraded by the three UV-based AOPs,and HPO content is more susceptible to decompose than TPI and HPI content.UV/H_(2)O_(2)was found to be the most effective treatment for the removal of THMFP and AOXFP under given conditions.C1 (microbial or marine derived humic-like substances),C_(2) (terrestrially derived humic-like substances)and C_(3) (tryptophan-like proteins) fluorescent components of HPO fraction were fairly labile across the UV-based AOPs treatment.C_(3) of each fraction of NOM was the most resistant to degrade upon the UV-based AOPs.Results from this study may provide the prediction about the consequence of UV-based AOPs for the degradation of different fractions of NOM with varied characteristics. | Zhenxing Yao Mingquan Wang Ruibao Jia Qinghua Zhao Li Liu Shaohua Sun | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,4: | 1
Zfyve16 regulates the proliferation of β-lymphoid cells显示文摘Zfyvel6 (a.k.a. endofin or endosome-associated _FYVE-domain protein), a member of the FYVE-domain protein family, is involved in endosomal trafficking and in TGF-β, BMP, and EGFR signaling. The FYVEprotein SARA regulates the TGF-β signaling pathway by recruiting Smad2/3 and accelerating theirphosphorylation, thereby altering their susceptibility to TGF-β-mediated T cell suppression. Zfyvel6 binds toSmad4 and their binding affects the formation of Smad2/3-Smad4 complex in TGF-β signaling. However, the invivo function of Zfyvel6 remains unknown. In this study, we generated a Zfyvel6 knockout mouse strain(Zfyve16^KO) and examined its hematopoietic phenotypes and hematopoietic reconstruction ability. The proportionof T cells in the peripheral blood of Zfyve16^KO mice increases compared with that in wild-type mice. This finding isconsistent with the role of Zfyvel6 in facilitating TGF-β signaling. Unpredictably, B cell proliferation is inhibited inZfyvel6^KO mice. The proliferation potential of Zfyvel6^KO B-lymphoid cells also significantly decreases in vitro. These results suggest that Zfyve16 inhibits the proliferation of T cells, possibly through the TGF-β signaling, butupregulates the proliferation of B-lymphoid cells. | Xuemei Zhao Donghe Li Qingsong Qiu Bo Jiao Ruihong Zhang Ping Liu Ruibao Ren | 2018 | Frontiers of Medicine2018,12,5: | 0

Palmitoylation of GNAQ/11 is critical for tumor cell proliferation and survival in GNAQ/11-mutant uveal melanoma显示文摘More than 85%of patients with uveal melanoma(UM)carry a GNAQ or GNA11 mutation at a hotspot codon(Q209)that encodes G proteinαsubunit q/11 polypeptides(Gα_(q/11)).GNAQ/11 relies on palmitoylation for membrane association and signal transduction.Despite the palmitoylation of GNAQ/11 was discovered long before, its implication in UM remains unclear. Here, results of palmitoylation-targeted mutagenesis and chemical interference approaches revealed that the loss of GNAQ/11 palmitoylation substantially affected tumor cell proliferation and survival in UM cells.Palmitoylation inhibition through the mutation of palmitoylation sites suppressed GNAQ/11^(Q209L)-induced malignant transformation in NIH3T3 cells.Importantly, the palmitoylation-deficient oncogenic GNAQ/11 failed to rescue the cell death initiated by the knock down of endogenous GNAQ/11 oncogenes in UM cells, which are much more dependent on Gα_(q/11) signaling for cell survival and proliferation than other melanoma cells without GNAQ/11 mutations.Furthermore, the palmitoylation inhibitor,2-bromopalmitate,also specifically disrupted Gα_(q/11) downstream signaling by interfering with the MAPK pathway and BCL2 survival pathway in GNAQ/11-mutant UM cells and showed a notable synergistic effect when applied in combination with the BCL2 inhibitor,ABT-199,in vitro. The findings validate that GNAQ/11 palmitoylation plays a critical role in UM and may serve as a promising therapeutic target for GNAQ/11-driven UM. | Yan Zhang Baoyuan Zhang Yongyun Li Yuting Dai Jiaoyang Li Donghe Li Zhizhou Xia Jianming Zhang Ping Liu Ming Chen Bo Jiao Ruibao Ren | 2022 | Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,5: | 0
Accretion Processes of Oceanic Crust in Slow-spreading Ridges:Plagiogranite Perspective of the Xigaze Ophiolite,South Tibet显示文摘Structural and petrological data suggest that the Xigaze ophiolite from the Yarlung Zangbo Suture Zone(YZSZ)in south Tibet was a typical slow-spreading ridge.A new field, geochemical, mineral, and U-Pb zircon dataset of plagiogranite intrusions were used to constrain the dynamic processes of oceanic accretion in this slow-spreading ridge.Plagiogranites mainly occur as dykes or intrusions intruded into the whole sequence of the ophiolite and have a similar orientation to the dolerite dykes developed in the late stage of detachment faulting.U-Pb zircon ages of 122–123 Ma were obtained for two types of plagiogranites and associated dolerite dykes.Detailed geochemical and mineralogical examinations suggest that the plagiogranites are the product of low-pressure(2–3 kbar)fractional crystallization of midocean ridge basalt-like magma and unlikely to have been derived from the partial melting of hydrous gabbroic rocks. The complex cross-cut relationship between the plagiogranites and ophiolite sequence reflects that they are controlled by small discontinued melt lenses rather than a big magma chamber under the ridge axis and reveals multiple injections during the oceanic crust accretion. The formation of plagiogranites possibly reflects the complex characteristic of oceanic accretion at slow-spreading ridges,time-dependent on structural(external)and magmatic(internal)processes. | LI Yuan LI Ruibao YANG Shengbiao ZHANG Jian YANG Jingsui | 2022 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,6: | 0
DDB1-and CUL4-associated factor 8 plays a critical role in spermatogenesis显示文摘Cullin-RING E3 ubiquitin ligase(CRL)-4 is a member of the large CRL family in eukaryotes. It plays important roles in a wide range of cellular processes, organismal development, and physiological and pathological conditions.DDB1-and CUL4-associated factor 8(DCAF8)is a WD40 repeat-containing protein, which serves as a substrate receptor for CRL4.The physiological role of DCAF8 is unknown. In this study,we constructed Dcaf8 knockout mice.Homozygous mice were viable with no noticeable abnormalities. However, the fertility of Dcaf8-deficient male mice was markedly impaired, consistent with the high expression of DCAF8 in adult mouse testis.Sperm movement characteristics, including progressive motility, path velocity, progressive velocity, and track speed, were significantly lower in Dcaf8 knockout mice than in wild-type(WT)mice.However,the total motility was similar between WT and Dcaf8 knockout sperm.More than 40%of spermatids in Dcaf8 knockout mice showed pronounced morphological abnormalities with typical bent head malformation. The acrosome and nucleus of Dcaf8 knockout sperm looked similar to those of WT sperm. In vitro tests showed that the fertilization rate of Dcaf8 knockout mice was significantly reduced. The results demonstrated that DCAF8 plays a critical role in spermatogenesis, and DCAF8 is a key component of CRL4 function in the reproductive system. | Xiuli Zhang Zhizhou Xia Xingyu Lv Donghe Li Mingzhu Liu Ruihong Zhang Tong Ji Ping Liu Ruibao Ren | 2021 | Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,2: | 0
