| 1 | Role of autophagy in liver physiology and pathophysiology显示文摘Autophagy is a highly conserved intracellular degradation pathway by which bulk cytoplasm and superfluous or damaged organelles are enveloped by double membrane structures termed autophagosomes. The autophago-somes then fuse with lysosomes for degradation of their contents, and the resulting amino acids can then recycle back to the cytosol. Autophagy is normally activated in response to nutrient deprivation and other stressors and occurs in all eukaryotes. In addition to maintaining energy and nutrient balance in the liver, it is now clear that autophagy plays a role in liver protein aggregates related diseases, hepatocyte cell death, steatohepatitis, hepatitis virus infection and hepatocellular carcinoma. | 2 | Cell surface activation of progelatinase A (proMMP-2) and cell migration显示文摘Gelatinase A (MMP-2) is considered to play a critical role in cell migration and invasion. The proteinase is secreted from the cell as an inactive zymogen. In vivo it is postulated that activation of progelationase A (proMMP-2) takes place on the cell surface mediated by membrane-type matrix metalloproteinases (MT-MMPs). Recent studies have demonstrated that proMMP-2 is recruited to the cell surface by interacting with tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-2 (TIMP-2) bound to MT1MMP by forming a ternary complex. bee MT1-MMP closely located to the ternary complex then activates proMMP-2 on the cell surface. MT1-MMP is found in cultured invasive cancer cells at the invadopodia. | 3 | 应用等效纬度海拔模型进行地温及多年冻土制图(英)显示文摘This research presents a method for permafrost mapping in discontinuous permafrost regions based on equivalent latitude/elevation concept in interior Alaska. In winter months, study site has a strong temperature inversion in air up to 700 m elevation. Air temperature data and the effects of slope, aspect and elevation were used to create an equivalent latitude/elevation model. This model was well correlated with mean annual surface temperature (0\^79). In this watershed, the thawing index (\%I\%\-t≈\{1 400\} ℃\5days) at the ground surface and snow depth do not vary greatly from south facing to north facing slopes. The primary controlled factor that determines the mean annual surface temperature was the winter surface temperature. The permafrost stability is effectively controlled by the freezing index. We determined 37\^5% of Caribou-Poker Creeks Research Watershed has unstable or thawing permafrost. At least 2\^1% of the permafrost in this watershed may have disappeared in the last 90 years due to climate warming.
