| 1 | Preliminary assessment of the navigation and positioning performance of BeiDou regional navigation satellite system显示文摘BeiDou regional navigation satellite system(BDS)also called BeiDou-2 has been in full operation since December 27,2012.It consists of 14 satellites,including 5 satellites in Geostationary Orbit(GEO),5 satellites in Inclined Geosynchronous Orbit(IGSO),and 4 satellites in Medium Earth Orbit(MEO).In this paper,its basic navigation and positioning performance are evaluated preliminarily by the real data collected in Beijing,including satellite visibility,Position Dilution of Precision(PDOP)value,the precision of code and carrier phase measurements,the accuracy of single point positioning and differential positioning and ambiguity resolution(AR)performance,which are also compared with those of GPS.It is shown that the precision of BDS code and carrier phase measurements are about 33 cm and 2 mm,respectively,which are comparable to those of GPS,and the accuracy of BDS single point positioning has satisfied the design requirement.The real-time kinematic positioning is also feasible by BDS alone in the opening condition,since its fixed rate and reliability of single-epoch dual-frequency AR is comparable to those of GPS.The accuracy of BDS carrier phase differential positioning is better than 1 cm for a very short baseline of 4.2 m and 3 cm for a short baseline of 8.2 km,which is on the same level with that of GPS.For the combined BDS and GPS,the fixed rate and reliability of single-epoch AR and the positioning accuracy are improved significantly.The accuracy of BDS/GPS carrier phase differential positioning is about 35 and 20%better than that of GPS for two short baseline tests in this study.The accuracy of BDS code differential positioning is better than 2.5 m.However it is worse than that of GPS,which may result from large code multipath errors of BDS GEO satellite measurements. | YANG YuanXi LI JinLong WANG AiBing XU JunYi HE HaiBo GUO HaiRong SHEN JunFei DAI Xian | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,1: | 125 |

| 3 | Relative effects of phylogeny,biological characters and environments on leaf traits in shrub biomes across central Inner Mongolia,China显示文摘Aims Understanding the drivers for leaf traits is critical to improving our predictions on ecosystems'responses to global changes.Geographic patterns of leaf traits are shaped by phylogenetic,biological and environmental factors simultaneously.However,till now few studies have examined how these factors influenced leaf traits together,and how their effects differed at the within-and among-site levels.Methods We sampled leaf traits from a 1100 km shrub-biome transect across central Inner-Mongolia,including leaf mass per area(LMA),mass-based photosynthetic rate,nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)concentrations.We examined the effects of phylogenetic,biological(height and growth rate)and environmental(climate and soil)fac-tors on leaf traits with mixed-model analyses of variance.Variation partitioning method was used to separate the joint and independent effects of these three types of factors.Important Findings(i)Climate and soil fertility(total or available nutrient concentra-tions)together explained 11.4-41.4%of among-site variations,with remarkable difference among traits.(i)Height and height growth rate together explained 0.4--31.9%of trait variations(mostly among-site variations).Our results could only weakly support the ability of leaf traits as predictors for whole-plant growth.(ii)LMA was negatively related to height,which was consistent with the resource-use strategy hypothesis but incon-sistent with the hypotheses proposed for coexisting trees,suggest-ing that the LMA--height relationship is shaped by rather different mechanisms between the within-and among-communities lev-els.(iv)The variation partitioning analysis showed that,the rela-tionships between leaf traits and biological characters largely reflected the differences in both leaf traits and biological char-acters among species that occupying different sites.The relative importance of phylogenetic,biological and environmental fac-tors differed remarkably among leaf traits,between the within-and among-communities levels,and between different biomes.(v)Our results strongly suggest the necessity of examining the three types of factors simultaneously,and at both the within-and among-communities levels,for a better understanding of the drivers for leaf traits patterns. | Chao Liu Xiangping Wang Xian Wu Shuang Dai Jin-Sheng He Weilun Yin | 2013 | Journal of Plant Ecology2013,6,3: | 19 |

| 7 | Nitrated and parent PAHs in the surface water of Lake Taihu,China:Occurrence,distribution,source,and human health risk assessment显示文摘Nitrated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(NPAHs)have toxic potentials that are higher than those of their corresponding parent polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)and thus have received increasing attention in recent years.In this study,the occurrence,distribution,source,and human health risk assessment of 15 NPAHs and 16 PAHs were investigated in the surface water from 20 sampling sites of Lake Taihu during the dry,normal,and flood seasons of 2018.The PAH concentrations ranged from 255 to 7298 ng/L and the NPAH concentrations ranged from not-detected(ND)to 212 ng/L.Among the target analytes,2-nitrofluorene(2-n Flu)was the predominant NPAH,with a detection frequency ranging from 85%to 90%and a maximum concentration of 56.2 ng/L.The three-ringed and four-ringed NPAHs and PAHs comprised the majority of the detected compounds.In terms of seasonal variation,the highest levels of the NPAHs and PAHs were in the dry season and flood season,respectively.Diagnostic ratio analysis indicated that the prime source of NPAHs was direct combustion,whereas in the case of PAHs the contribution was predominantly from a mixed pattern including pollution from unburned petroleum and petroleum combustion.The human health risk of NPAHs and PAHs was evaluated using a lifetime carcinogenic risk assessment model.The carcinogenic risk level of the targets ranged from 2.09×10^(-7)to 5.75×10^(-5)and some surface water samples posed a potential health risk. | Jijie Kong Yuxuan Dai Mengshu Han Huan He Jiapeng Hu Junyi Zhang Junzhe Shi Qiming Xian Shaogui Yang Cheng Sun | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4: | 6 |

| 14 | Protocol of Jidong Women Health Cohort Study: Rationale, Design, and Baseline Characteristics显示文摘Objective The Jidong Women Health Cohort Study is a prospective cohort study on female-specific characteristics and risks of chronic diseases in Chinese women and focuses on the potential association between menopause and risks of cardiovascular disease(CVD). Methods The study includes 4,179 female participants with an age of older than 18 years from Caofeidian district, Tangshan city, northern China. Baseline information on female-specific characteristics and potential cardiovascular risk factors was collected and all the participants underwent a physical examination with blood samples collected in 2013. To establish a better risk assessment tool of female CVD, updated information from questionnaire investigation, physical examinations and occurrence of outcome events will be collected through a longitudinal follow-up annually up to the year 2024. Results At baseline, Mean age of the participants was 42.3 ± 12.8 years. Reproduction occurred in 2,948 participants(70.5%), menopausal transition in 173(4.3%), and postmenopause in 1,058(25.3%). The incidence of arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia, and diabetes showed significant difference across different groups stratified by Stage of Reproductive Aging Workshop(STRAW) system(P < 0.05).
