1Rice MtN3/saliva/SWEET gene family: Evolution,expression profiling, and sugar transport显示文摘The rice MtN3/saliva/SWEET gene family consists of21 paralogs. However, their functions in physiological processes are largely unknown, although at least three of the 21 paralogs are used by pathogenic bacteria to infect rice.Here, we report the evolutionary features, transcriptional characteristics, and putative functions in sugar transport of this gene family. The wild rice accessions in this study included those with AA, BB, CC, BBCC, CCDD, EE, and GG genomes,which appeared approximately 0.58–14.6 million years ago.The structures, chromosomal locations, phylogenetic relationships, and homologous distribution among the accessions suggest that the number of rice MtN3/saliva/SWEET paralogs gradually increased as the Oryza genus evolved, and one third of the paralogs may have originated recently. These paralogs are differentially expressed in vegetative and reproductive tissues, in the leaf senescence process, and in signaling dependent on gibberellic acid, cytokinin, or 1-naphthalene acetic acid(an analog of auxin), suggesting that they may be associated with multiple physiological processes. Four paral ogs could transport galactose in yeast, which suggests tha they may have a similar function in rice. 3Ambient volatile organic compounds at a receptor site in the Pearl River Delta region:Variations,source apportionment and effects on ozone formation显示文摘We present the continuously measurements of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)at a receptor site(Wan Qing Sha,WQS)in the Pearl River Delta(PRD)region from September to November of 2017.The average mixing ratios of total VOCs(TVOCs)was 36.3±27.9 ppbv with the dominant contribution from alkanes(55.5%),followed by aromatics(33.3%).The diurnal variation of TVOCs showed a strong photochemical consumption during daytime,resulting in the formation of ozone(O_(3)).Five VOC sources were resolved by the positive matrix factorization(PMF)model,including solvent usage(28.6%),liquid petroleum gas(LPG)usage(24.4%),vehicle exhaust(21.0%),industrial emissions(13.2%)and gasoline evaporation(12.9%).The regional transport air masses from the upwind cities of south China can result in the elevated concentrations of TVOCs.Low ratios of TVOCs/NO_(x)(1.53±0.88)suggested that the O_(3) formation regime at WQS site was VOC-limited,which also confirmed by a photochemical box model with the master chemical mechanism(PBM-MCM).Furthermore,the observation on high-O_(3) episode days revealed that frequent O_(3) outbreaks at WQS were mainly caused by the regional transport of anthropogenic VOCs especially for aromatics and the subsequent photochemical reactions.This study provides valuable information for policymakers to propose the effective control strategies on photochemical pollution in a regional perspective.Yao Meng Junwei Song Lewei Zeng Yingyi Zhang Yan Zhao Xufei Liu Hai Guo Liuju Zhong Yubo Ou Yan Zhou Tao Zhang Dingli Yue Senchao Lai 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,1:5

5PEPT1-mediated prodrug strategy for oral delivery of peramivir显示文摘Peramivir was a novel and highly potent neuraminidase(NA) inhibitor for the treatment of influenza A and B. However, it exhibited a very low oral bioavailability(only 3%) due to the high polarity(log P of-1.4) and the low membrane permeability across the intestine. To utilize the PEPT1-mediated prodrug strategy to improve the oral absorption and develop the oral alternative, seven amino acid ester prodrugs and seven amino acid amide prodrugs have been synthesized. The permeability of these prodrugs across Caco-2 cells were screened. Peramivr-(CH_2)_2-l-Val and Peramivir-l-Ile were of the highest permeability in ester prodrugs and amide prodrugs, respectively, and then they were selected for further studies. Glycylsarcosine(gly-sar) uptake by Caco-2 could be inbihited by Peramivir-(CH_2)_2-l-Val and Peramivir-l-Ile in a concentration-dependent manner, and the IC 50 was 1.34 ± 0.31 m M and 1.78 ± 0.48 m M, respectively. The direct uptake of Peramivir-(CH_2)_2-l-Val and Peramivirl-Ile in MDCK-PEPT1 cells were significantly higher than in MDCK mock cells, and could be markedly inhibited by gly-sar. The uptake of Peramivir-(CH_2)_2-l-Val and Peramivir-l-Ile(0.01 to 50 m M) in MDCK-hPEPT1 cells conformed to Michaelis–Menten Equation. The oral bioavailability of peramivir was 65.3% and 37.3% after the oral administration of Peramivir-(CH_2)_2-l-Val and Peramivir-l-Ile to rats, respectively. The oral absorption and bioactivation of Peramivir-(CH_2)_2-l-Val was rapid and extensive, and no Peramivir-(CH_2)_2-l-Val was found in plasma. Because the amide bond was relatively stable, Peramivir-l-Ile could not be totally converted to the parent drug in vivo. Peramivir-(CH_2)_2-l-Val with good oral profiles and rapid bioactivation might be a promising prodrug for the further clinic development. 6Electricity Services Based Dependability Model of Power Grid Communication Networking显示文摘The technology of Ultra-High Voltage(UHV) transmission requires higher dependability for electric power grid. Power Grid Communication Networking(PGCN),the fundamental information infrastructure,severs data transmission including control signal,protection signal,and common data services. Dependability is the necessary requirement to ensure services timely and accurately. Dependability analysis aims to predicate operation status and provide suitable strategies getting rid of the potential dangers. Due to the dependability of PGCN may be affected by external environment,devices quality,implementation strategies,and so on,the scale explosion and the structure complexity make the PGCN's dependability much challenging. In this paper,with the observation of interdependency between power grid and PGCN,we propose an electricity services based dependability analysis model of PGCN. The model includes methods of analyzing its dependability and procedures of designing the dependable strategies. 7A new global gridded sea surface temperature product constructed from infrared and microwave radiometer data using the optimum interpolation method显示文摘A new 0.1° gridded daily sea surface temperature(SST) data product is presented covering the years 2003–2015. It is created by fusing satellite SST data retrievals from four microwave(Wind Sat, AMSR-E, ASMR2 and HY-2 A RM)and two infrared(MODIS and AVHRR) radiometers(RMs) based on the optimum interpolation(OI) method. The effect of including HY-2 A RM SST data in the fusion product is studied, and the accuracy of the new SST product is determined by various comparisons with moored and drifting buoy measurements. An evaluation using global tropical moored buoy measurements shows that the root mean square error(RMSE) of the new gridded SST product is generally less than 0.5℃. A comparison with US National Data Buoy Center meteorological and oceanographic moored buoy observations shows that the RMSE of the new product is generally less than 0.8℃. A comparison with measurements from drifting buoys shows an RMSE of 0.52–0.69℃. 8Emergency Control Strategy for Power Systems with Renewables Considering a Utility-scale Energy Storage Transient显示文摘Integration of renewable energy generators has greatly altered both static and dynamic characteristics of the system.Combined with the uncertainties it introduced,the risk of a system being transient instable is significantly alleviated.This paper proposes a multi-objective coordinated post-contingency control method.It aims to increase post-contingency system security with emergence control(EC)while minimizing the total control cost.Two ECs are adopted in this paper:energy storage systems(ESSs)and emergency load shedding(ELS).ESSs are immediately connected to the network after contingency occurrence to provide both active and reactive power support.ELS will be triggered when the support from ESSs is insufficient to stabilize the system to prevent further deterioration of system security.Performance of the proposed method was evaluated on a modified New England 39-bus benchmark system.The results indicate that the proposed method can find solutions to stabilize the system against credible contingencies and optimally balance between system stability and economy.Xuekuan Xie Yuchen Zhang Ke Meng Zhao Yang Dong Junwei Liu 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,5:1
9Highly Soluble Phenylethynyl-terminated Imide Oligomers and Thermosetting Polyimides Based on 2,2′3,3′-Biphenyltetracarboxylic Dianhydride显示文摘The properties of a series of imide oligomers were characterized according to their molecular weights, solubility, and thermal and rheological properties. This series of imide oligomers was synthesized via a two-step method using 2,2′,3,3′-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride(3,3′-BPDA) and aromatic diamines as the monomers, and 4-phenylethynyl phtlialic anhydride(PEPA) as the end-capping agent. The imide oligomers based on 3,3′-BPDA showed excellent solubility in low boiling point solvents and low melt viscosity, which were attributed to their unique bent architectures. High-performance thermosetting polyimides were produced from these oligomers via thermal crosslinking of the phenylethynyl groups. The mechanical and thermal properties of the thermosets were studied using tensile testing, dynamic mechanical thermal analysis(DMTA), and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). The 3,3′EPDA-based thermosets exhibited excellent thermal properties, with glass transition temperatures of up to 455℃, and 5% mass loss temperatures of up to 569℃ in air. 10First demonstration of an all-solid-state optical cryocooler显示文摘Solid-state optical refrigeration uses anti-Stokes fluorescence to cool macroscopic objects to cryogenic temperatures without vibrations.Crystals such as Yb3+-doped YLiF4(YLF:Yb)have previously been laser-cooled to 91 K.In this study,we show for the first time laser cooling of a payload connected to a cooling crystal.A YLF:Yb crystal was placed inside a Herriott cell and pumped with a 1020-nm laser(47 W)to cool a HgCdTe sensor that is part of a working Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR)spectrometer to 135 K.This first demonstration of an all-solid-state optical cryocooler was enabled by careful control of the various desired and undesired heat flows.Fluorescence heating of the payload was minimized by using a single-kink YLF thermal link between the YLF:Yb cooling crystal and the copper coldfinger that held the HgCdTe sensor.The adhesive-free bond between YLF and YLF:Yb showed excellent thermal reliability.This laser-cooled assembly was then supported by silica aerogel cylinders inside a vacuum clamshell to minimize undesired conductive and radiative heat loads from the warm surroundings.Our structure can serve as a baseline for future optical cryocooler devices.Markus P.Hehlen Junwei Meng Alexander R.Albrecht Eric R.Lee Aram Gragossian Steven P.Love Christopher E.Hamilton Richard I.Epstein Mansoor Sheik-Bahae 2018Light(Science & Applications)2018,7,1:1
11Tailored deep-eutectic solvent method to enable 3D porous iron fluoride bricks for conversion-type lithium batteries显示文摘Conversion-type fluoride cathode can provide considerable energy density for Li batteries,however its scalable and facile synthesis strategies are still lacking.Here,a novel Fe-based deep eutectic solvent composed of nitrite and methylsulfonylmethane is proposed as both the reaction medium and precursor to synthesize O-doped FeF3porous bricks.This method is cheaper,safe,mildly operable,environmentally friendly and recyclable for non-fluorinated metal cations.The homogenization of charge and mass transport in cathode network effectively mitigates the volume extrusion and electrode coarsening even for the micro-sized monolithic particles.The Co-solvation modulated fluoride cathode delivers high reversible capacity in a wide temperature range(486 and 235 mA h g^(-1)at 25℃ and-20℃ respectively),excellent rate performance(312 mA h g^(-1)at 1000 mA g^(-1)),corresponding to an energy density as high as672.1 W h kg^(-1)under a power density of 2154.3 W kg^(-1).The successful operation of fluoride pouchcell with a capacity exceeding 450 mA h g^(-1)(even under thin Li foil and lean electrolyte conditions) indicates its potentiality of commercial application.Chuanzhong Lai Keyi Chen Yongjian Zheng Junwei Meng Jiulin Hu Chilin Li 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3:0
