1Relocation of the 10 March 2011 Yingjiang,China,earthquake sequence and its tectonic implications显示文摘An earthquake with MS5.8 occurred on 10 March 2011 in Yingjiang county,western Yunnan,China.This earthquake caused 25 deaths and over 250 injuries.In order to better understand the seismotectonics in the region,we collected the arrival time data from the Yunnan seismic observational bulletins during 1 January to 25 March 2011,and precisely hand-picked the arrival times from high-quality seismograms that were recorded by the temporary seismic stations deployed by our Institute of Crustal Dynamics,China Earthquake Administration.Using these arrival times,we relocated all the earthquakes including the Yingjiang mainshock and its aftershocks using the double-difference relocation algorithm.Our results show that the relocated earthquakes dominantly occurred along the ENE direction and formed an upside-down bow-shaped structure in depth.It is also observed that after the Yingjiang mainshock,some aftershocks extended toward the SSE over about 10 km.These results may indicate that the Yingjiang mainshock ruptured a conjugate fault system consisting of the ENE trending Da Yingjiang fault and a SSE trending blind fault.Such structural features could contribute to severely seismic hazards during the moderate-size Yingjiang earthquake.Jianshe Lei Guangwei Zhang Furen Xie Yuan Li Youjin Su Lifang Liu Honghu Ma Junwei Zhang 2012Earthquake Science2012,25,1:35
2Interleukin-33 drives hepatic fibrosis through activation of hepatic stellate cells显示文摘Liver fibrosis is a consequence of chronic liver disease,causing morbidity and mortality.Interleukin-33(IL-33)is a critical mediator of inflammation,which may be involved in the development of liver fibrosis.Here,we investigated the role of IL-33 in human patients and experimental bile-duct ligation(BDL)-induced fibrosis in mice.We report increased hepatic IL-33 expression in the murine BDL model of fibrosis and in surgical samples obtained from patients with liver fibrosis.Liver injury,inflammatory cell infiltration and fibrosis were reduced in the absence of the IL-33/ST2 receptor,and the activation of hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)was decreased in ST2-deficient mice.Recombinant IL-33 activated HSCs isolated from C57BL/6 mice,leading to the expression of IL-6,TGF-β,α-SMA and collagen,which was abrogated in the absence of ST2 or by pharmacological inhibition of MAPK signaling.Finally,administration of recombinant IL-33 significantly increased hepatic inflammation in sham-operated BL6 mice but did not enhance BDL-induced hepatic inflammation and fibrosis.In conclusion,BDL-induced liver inflammation and fibrosis are dependent on ST2 signaling in HSCs,and therefore,the IL-33/ST2 pathway may be a potential therapeutic target in human patients with chronic hepatitis and liver fibrosis.Zhongming Tan Qianghui Liu Runqiu Jiang Long Lv Siamak S Shoto Isabelle Maillet Valerie Quesniaux Junwei Tang Wenjie Zhang Beicheng Sun Bernhard Ryffel 2018Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,4:24
3Lightweight,Flexible Cellulose-Derived Carbon Aerogel@Reduced Graphene Oxide/PDMS Composites with Outstanding EMI Shielding Performances and Excellent Thermal Conductivities显示文摘In order to ensure the operational reliability and infor-mation security of sophisticated electronic components and to protect human health,efficient electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials are required to attenuate electromagnetic wave energy.In this work,the cellulose solution is obtained by dissolving cotton through hydrogen bond driving self-assembly using sodium hydroxide(NaOH)/urea solution,and cellulose aerogels(CA)are prepared by gelation and freeze-drying.Then,the cellulose carbon aerogel@reduced graphene oxide aerogels(CCA@rGO)are prepared by vacuum impregnation,freeze-drying followed by thermal annealing,and finally,the CCA@rGO/polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)EMI shielding composites are prepared by backfilling with PDMS.Owing to skin-core structure of CCA@rGO,the complete three-dimensional(3D)double-layer con-ductive network can be successfully constructed.When the loading of CCA@rGO is 3.05 wt%,CCA@rGO/PDMS EMI shielding composites have an excellent EMI shielding effectiveness(EMI SE)of 51 dB,which is 3.9 times higher than that of the co-blended CCA/rGO/PDMS EMI shielding composites(13 dB)with the same loading of fillers.At this time,the CCA@rGO/PDMS EMI shielding composites have excellent thermal stability(T_(HRI) of 178.3℃)and good thermal conductivity coefficient(λ of 0.65 W m^(-1) K^(-1)).Excellent comprehensive performance makes CCA@rGO/PDMS EMI shielding composites great prospect for applications in lightweight,flexible EMI shielding composites.Ping Song Bei Liu Chaobo Liang Kunpeng Ruan Hua Qiu Zhonglei Ma Yongqiang Guo Junwei Gu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,6:19
4Recent Development of SOFC Metallic Interconnect显示文摘Interest in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) stems from their higher efficiencies and lower levels of emitted pollutants, compared to traditional power production methods. Interconnects are a critical part in SOFC stacks, which connect cells in series electrically, and also separate air or oxygen at the cathode side from fuel at the anode side. Therefore, the requirements of interconnects are the most demanding, i.e., to maintain high electrical conductivity, good stability in both reducing and oxidizing atmospheres, and close coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) match and good compatibility with other SOFC ceramic components. 5Phenotypic variation in Phoebe bournei populations preserved in the primary distribution area显示文摘Phoebe bournei(Hemsl.) Yang is a rare and protected plant in China. This study was conducted to determine the phenotypic variation in this species and to document phenotypic variation within and among populations of P. bournei. Nested analysis of variance, coefficient of variation, multiple comparisons, principal component analysis(PCA) and correlation analysis were used to analyze ten phenotypic traits in ten natural populations of P.bournei from both the northeastern and the primary region of the range of this species. Significant differences among and within populations were observed in leaf and seed phenotypic traits. Variation among populations(34.92%)was greater than that within populations(26.19%). The mean phenotypic differentiation coefficient was 53.77%among populations, indicating that variation among populations comprised the majority of the phenotypic variation of P. bournei. The coefficient of variance(CV) of ten traits varied from 6.44 to 18.45%, with an average of 12.03%.The CV of leaf traits among populations(15.64%) was higher than that of seed traits(8.60%), indicating that seed traits were more stable. The results from CV and PCA indicated that leaf area, leaf length and thousand seed weight were the main factors accounting for the observed phenotypic variations. Significant or highly significant correlations were observed among most leaf and/or in seed phenotypic traits, whereas no significant correlations were observed between phenotypic traits and geographic factors.Based on cluster analysis, the ten populations can be divided into three clusters. 6Optimization of parameters on photocatalytic degradation of chloramphenicol using TiO_2 as photocatalyist by response surface methodology显示文摘The experimental design methodology was applied for modeling and optimizing the operation parameters on photocatalytic degradation of chloramphenicol (CAP) using TiO 2 as photocatalyst in a photoreactor. Three experimental parameters (including pH, TiO 2 concentration and CAP initial concentration) were adopted to obtain the preliminary information. The multivariate experimental design was employed to establish a quadratic model as a functional relationship between the degradation rate of CAP and three experimental parameters. The interaction effects and optimal parameters were obtained by using Design Expert software. The optimal values of the operation parameters under the related constraint conditions were found at pH 6.4, TiO 2 concentration of 0.94 g/L and CAP initial concentration of 19.97 mg/L, respectively. The degradation rate of CAP approached 85.97% under optimal conditions. The regression analysis with R 2 value of 0.9519 had a good agreement between the experimental results and the predictive values. 7Quantitative prediction of mining subsidence and its impact on the environment显示文摘This study is focused on the prediction of mining subsidence and its impact on the environment in the Hongqi mining area. The study was carried out by means of a probability integral model based, in first instance based on field surveys and the analysis of data collected from this area. Isolines of mining subsidence were then drawn and the impact caused by mining subsidence on the environment was analyzed quantitatively by spatial analysis with Geographic Information System (GIS). The results indicate that the subsidence area of the first working-mine can be as large as 2.54 km 2 , the maximum subsidence is 3440 mm which will cause 1524 houses to be relocated. The entire subsidence area of the mine can reach 8.09 km 2 , with a maximum subsidence of 3590 mm. 8Hierarchical design of FeCo-based microchains for enhanced microwave absorption in C band显示文摘Microwave absorbing materials(MAMs)has been intensively investigated in order to meet the requirement of electromagnetic radiation control,especially in S and C band.In this work,FeCo-based magnetic MAMs are hydrothermally synthesized via a magnetic-field-induced process.The composition and morphology of the MAMs are capable of being adjusted simultaneously by the atomic ratio of Fe2+to Co2+in the precursor.The hierarchical magnetic microchain,which has a core–shell structure of twodimensional FexCo1−xOOH nanosheets anchored vertically on the surface of a one-dimensional(1D)Co microchain,shows significantly enhanced microwave absorption in C band,resulting in a reflection loss(RL)of lower than−20 dB at frequencies ranging from 4.4 to 8.0 GHz under a suitable matching thickness.The magnetic coupling of Co microcrystals and the double-loss mechanisms out of the core-shell structure are considered to promote the microwave attenuation capability.The hierarchical design of 1D magnetic MAMs provides a feasible strategy to solve the electromagnetic pollution in C band.Yixuan Han Mukun He Jinwen Hu Panbo Liu Zhongwu Liu Zhonglei Ma Wenbo Ju Junwei Gu 2023Nano Research2023,16,1:12
9The presence of phosphorylation form of D1 protein in its cross-linked aggregates in high light treated spinach leaves in vivo显示文摘In the present study, using specific antibody against D1 protein, we detected four ag- gregates of D1 protein in thylakoid membranes from spinach leaves illuminated at high light (800―2500 μmol photons·m?2·s?1) for 3 h. Their accumulations were dependent on the light intensity to which the leaves had been subjected. Further immunoblot analysis indicated that 70 kD aggregate was a prod- uct of D1 protein cross-linked with CP43, 65 and 60 kD aggregate were two cross-linked products be- tween D1 and D2 proteins, and 41 kD aggregate was one cross-linked D1 with α-subunit of cytochrome b559 (Cyt b559). This result provided the evidence for the existence of the aggregation of the D1 protein in vivo. The maximal level of D1/Cyt b559 aggregate occurred at 1000 μmol photons·m?2·s?1 but drastically decreased with further increasing light intensity. Im- munoblot analysis with phosphothreonine (Thr (P)) antibody indicated that D1/CP43 and D1/Cyt b559 aggregates contained the phosphorylated protein(s). In vitro dephosphorylation experiment also showed that D1/Cyt b559 and D1/CP43 aggregates lost the immunoreactivity with Thr (P) antibody after the phosphatase treatment of the membranes from high-light-illuminated leaves. 10Discriminative graph regularized broad learning system for image recognition显示文摘Broad learning system(BLS) has been proposed as an alternative method of deep learning. The architecture of BLS is that the input is randomly mapped into series of feature spaces which form the feature nodes, and the output of the feature nodes are expanded broadly to form the enhancement nodes, and then the output weights of the network can be determined analytically. The most advantage of BLS is that it can be learned incrementally without a retraining process when there comes new input data or neural nodes. It has been proven that BLS can overcome the inadequacies caused by training a large number of parameters in gradient-based deep learning algorithms. In this paper, a novel variant graph regularized broad learning system(GBLS) is proposed. Taking account of the locally invariant property of data, which means the similar images may share similar properties, the manifold learning is incorporated into the objective function of the standard BLS. In GBLS, the output weights are constrained to learn more discriminative information,and the classification ability can be further enhanced. Several experiments are carried out to verify that our proposed GBLS model can outperform the standard BLS. 11Augmented reality registration algorithm based on nature feature recognition显示文摘This paper presents an improved key frame based augmented reality registration algorithm for real-time motion tracking in outdoor environment. In such applications, wide-baseline feature matching is a critical problem. In this paper, we apply randomized tree method to match key points extracted from the input image to those key frames as a classification problem. Extended Kalman filter is also utilized for jitter correction. A video see-through mobile augmented reality system is built for the on-site digital reconstruction of Yuanmingyuan Garden. 12Thermally conductive polyvinyl alcohol composite films via introducing hetero-structured MXene@silver fillers显示文摘Ag nanoparticles were in-situ grown on the surface of MXene nanosheets to prepare thermally conductive hetero-structured MXene@Ag fillers.With polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as the polymer matrix,thermally conductive MXene@Ag/PVA composite films were fabricated by the processes of solution blending,pouring,evaporative self-assembly.With the same mass fraction,MXene@Ag-III(MXene/Ag,2:1,w/w)presents more significant improvement in thermal conductivity coefficient(λ)than MXene@Ag,single MXene,Ag,simply blending MXene/Ag.MXene@Ag-III/PVA composite films show dual functions of excellent thermal conductivity and electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding.When the mass fraction of MXene@Ag-III is 60 wt.%,the in-planeλ(λ_(∥)),through-planeλ(λ_(⊥)),EMI shielding effectiveness(EMI SE)are 3.72 and 0.41 W/(m∙K),32 dB,which are increased by 3.1,1.3,105.7 times than those of pure PVA film(0.91 and 0.18 W/(m∙K),0.3 dB),respectively.The 60 wt.%MXene@Ag-III/PVA composite film also has satisfying mechanical and thermal properties,with Young’s modulus,glass transition temperature,heat resistance index of 3.8 GPa,58.5 and 175.3℃,respectively.Mukun Li Yuyao Sun Dianying Feng Kunpeng Ruan Xia Liu Junwei Gu 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:10
13Hierarchical construction of CNT networks in aramid papers for high-efficiency microwave absorption显示文摘Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)incorporated polymeric composites have been extensively investigated for microwave absorption at target frequencies to meet the requirement of radar cross-section reduction.In this work,a strategy of efficient utilization of CNT in producing CNT incorporated aramid papers is demonstrated.The layer-by-layer self-assembly technique is used to coat the surfaces of meta-aramid fibers and fibrils with CNT,providing novel raw materials available for the large-scale papermaking.The hierarchical construction of CNT networks resolves the dilemma of increasing CNT content and avoiding the agglomeration of CNT,which is a frequent challenge for CNT incorporated polymeric composites.The composite paper,which contains abundant heterogeneous interfaces and long-range conductive networks,is capable of reaching a high permittivity and dielectric loss tangent at a low CNT loading,its complex permittivity is,so far,adjustable in the range of(1.20−j0.05)to(25.17−j18.89)at 10 GHz.Some papers with optimal matching thicknesses achieve a high-efficiency microwave absorption with a reflection loss lower than−10 dB in the entire X-band.You Wu Li Chen Yixuan Han Panbo Liu Haihong Xu Guanze Yu Yingying Wang Tao Wen Wenbo Ju Junwei Gu 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:9
14Warming moxibustion attenuates inflammation and cartilage degradation in experimental rabbit knee osteoarthritis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the molecular mechanism of warming moxibustion(WM)in knee osteoarthritis(KOA).METHODS:The knee joints of 40 New Zealand rabbits were placed in a plaster cast in an extended position to establish a KOA model.The animals were randomly divided into four groups:the control group,model group,WM group,and diclofenac(DF)group.Hematoxylin-eosin staining and the modified Mankin score were applied to evaluate the histopathological changes.Chondrocyte apoptosis was determined by the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL)assay.Western blotting and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction were performed to measure the expression of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),prostaglandin E receptor 3(PTGER3),a disintegrin-like and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin type-1 motifs-5(ADAMTS-5),matrix metalloproteinase-13(MMP-13),and C-terminal telopeptides of collagen typeⅡ(CTX-Ⅱ)in cartilage tissues of the different groups.The concentrations of IL-1β,PTGER3,and CTX-Ⅱin serum were detected by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS:Rabbits with KOA in the WM and DF groups showed significantly reduced cartilage erosion and Mankin scores,compared with the untreated rabbits.The number of TUNEL-positive cells observed in the WM group was much fewer than that in the model group.The expression of PTGER3,MMP-13,CTX-Ⅱ,IL-1β,and ADAMTS-5 in cartilage tissues was remarkably downregulated following therapy with WM and DF.Moreover,a marked reduction was observed in the serum levels of IL-1β,PTGER3,and CTX-Ⅱin the WM and DF groups.CONCLUSION:WM exerts favorable therapeutic effects on articular injuries of KOA by regulating the expression of inflammatory and cartilage degradation-related cytokines.LIU Di WU Yongli LI Chun WANG Minglei MA Xiaoxiu LIU Junwei ZHANG Yanling YANG Lei 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,6:9
15Mode-division multiplexed transmission of wavelength-division multiplexing signals over a 100-km single-span orbital angular momentum fiber显示文摘We experimentally demonstrate mode-division multiplexed(MDM)transmission using eight orbital angular momentum(OAM)modes over a single span of 100-km low-attenuation and low-crosstalk ring-core fiber(RCF).Each OAM mode channel carries 10 wavelength-division multiplexing(WDM)signal channels in the C band,with each WDM channel in turn transmitting 16-GBaud quadrature phase-shift keying signal.An aggregate capacity of 2.56 Tbit/s and an overall spectral efficiency of 10.24 bit/(s·Hz)are realized.The capacity-distance product of 256(Tbit/s)·km is the largest reported so far for OAM fiber communications systems to the best of our knowledge.Exploiting the low crosstalk between the OAM mode groups in the RCF,the scheme only requires the use of modular 4×4 multiple-input multiple-output processing,and it can therefore be scaled up in the number of MDM channels without increasing the complexity of signal processing.Junwei Zhang Junyi Liu Lei Shen Lei Zhang Jie Luo Jie Liu Siyuan Yu 2020Photonics Research2020,8,7:8
16Analysis of CVC roll contour and determination of roll crown显示文摘Mathematical analysis of continuous variable crown (CVC) roll contour used in CSP production line was conducted and the roll contour function of CVC roll was obtained. The validation with actual CVC roll contour shows that the calculation values of the roll contour function and the actual roll contour parameters given by equipment provider are the same, which proves that the roll contour function of CVC rolls given in this article is correct. The nonlinear relationship between the roll crown of CVC rolls and roll shift amounts was deduced. 18Leader-following consensus of linear discrete-time multi-agent systems subject to jointly connected switching networks显示文摘In this paper, we further study the leader-following consensus problem for a class of linear discrete-time multi-agent systems subject to jointly connected switching digraphs. We first establish a stability result for a class of linear switched systems under a more relaxed assumption than those in the literature.Then, we apply this stability result to obtain the solution to our problem, which contains previous results as special cases. 20Development of the triazole-fused pyrimidine derivatives as highly potent and reversible inhibitors of histone lysine specific demethylase1(LSD1/KDM1A)显示文摘Histone lysine specific demethylase 1(LSD1) has been recognized as an important modulator in post-translational process in epigenetics. Dysregulation of LSD1 has been implicated in the development of various cancers. Herein, we report the discovery of the hit compound 8 a(IC50=3.93 μmol/L) and further medicinal chemistry efforts, leading to the generation of compound 15 u(IC50=49 nmol/L, and Ki= 16 nmol/L), which inhibited LSD1 reversibly and competitively with H3 K4 me2, and was selective to LSD1 over MAO-A/B. Docking studies were performed to rationalize the potency ofcompound 15 u. Compound 15 u also showed strong antiproliferative activity against four leukemia cell lines(OCL-AML3, K562, THP-1 and U937) as well as the lymphoma cell line Raji with the IC50 values of 1.79, 1.30, 0.45, 1.22 and 1.40 μmol/L, respectively.
