4Pressureless crystallization of glass toward scintillating composite with high crystallinity for radiation detection显示文摘The construction of scintillating ceramics is of great technological importance for various fundamental applications, including medical diagnostic, security inspection, resource exploration and particle physics. The chief challenge is the facile and scalable synthesis of scintillating ceramics with the desirable combination of pore-free, reliable mechanical properties and excellent scintillating performance. Here we present a pressureless glass crystallization strategy for the construction of scintillating composite with high crystallinity. The fabricated scintillating composites are featured by small optical turbidity, excellent mechanical properties, and efficient scintillating luminescence with the scintillating light yield of 15,000 pH/MeV and about 2.46 times higher than that of the commercial BGO single crystal. Moreover, the scintillating composite derived radiation detector device is successfully elaborated. The practical application for monitoring gamma ray is demonstrated and the precision of the device is less than that of the tolerable deviation of 30%. 5Reappraise role of lymph node status in patterns of recurrence following curative resection of gastric adenocarcinoma显示文摘Objective: To examine the association between lymph node status and recurrence patterns in completely resected gastric adenocarcinoma.Methods: We retrospectively assessed 1,694 patients who underwent curative gastrectomy from January 2010 to August 2014. Patients stratified according to lymph node status and recurrence patterns among different subgroups were compared.Results: Of all, 517(30.5%) patients developed recurrent disease, and complete data of recurrence could be obtained in 493(95.4%) patients. For p^(N0) patients, the patterns of recurrence were different according to p T stage: locoregional recurrence was most common in patients with p T1-2 disease(57.1%), distant recurrence was most common in patients with p T3 disease(57.1%), and peritoneal recurrence was most common in patients with p T4 a disease(66.7%). For p^(N+) patients, distant metastasis was most common pattern irrespective of p T stage. The site-specific trend of recurrence showed that locoregional recurrence increased within 5 years in patients with p^(N0)-2 disease but plateaued 3 years after surgery in patients with p N3 disease. Time to recurrence was significantly longer for the p^(N0) patients compared with the p^(N+) patients(median: 25 vs. 16 months, P=0.001).Moreover, post-recurrence survival was significantly better for the p^(N0) patients than for the p^(N+) patients(median:12 vs. 6 months, P<0.001), especially in patients with non-peritoneal recurrence, late recurrence, single recurrence,and receipt of potential curative treatment.Conclusions: Among clinicopathologic factors, lymph node status is the most important factor associated with recurrence patterns after curative gastrectomy. 6Phase separation-hydrogen etching-derived Cu-decorated Cu-Mn bimetallic oxides with oxygen vacancies boosting superior sodium-ion storage kinetics显示文摘Understanding the crystal phase evolution of bimetallic oxide anodes is the main concern to profoundly reveal the conversion reaction kinetics and sodium-ion storage mechanisms.Herein,an integrated selfsupporting anode of the Cu-decorated Cu-Mn bimetallic oxides with oxygen vacancies(Ov-BMO-Cu)are in-situ generated by phase separation and hydrogen etching using nanoporous Cu-Mn alloy as selfsacrificial templates.On this basis,we have elucidated the relationship between the phase evolution,oxygen vacancies and sodium-ion storage mechanisms,further demonstrating the evolution of oxygen vacancies and the inhibition effect of manganese oxides as an“anchor”on grain aggregation of copper oxides.The kinetic analyses confirm that the expanded lattice space and increased oxygen vacancies of cycled Ov-BMO-Cu synergistically guarantee effective sodium-ion diffusion and storage mechanisms.Therefore,the Ov-BMO-Cu electrode exhibits higher reversible capacities of 4.04 mA h cm^(-2)at 0.2 mA cm^(-2)after 100 cycles and 2.20 m A h cm^(-2)at 1.0 mA cm^(-2)after 500 cycles.Besides,the presodiated Ov-BMO-Cu anode delivers a considerable reversible capacity of 0.79 m A h cm^(-2)at 1.0 mA cm^(-2)after 60 cycles in full cells with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)cathode,confirming its outstanding practicality.Thus,this work is expected to provide enlightenment for designing high-capacity bimetallic oxide anodes.Lin Yan Lingshuo Zong Qi Sun Junpeng Guo Zhenyang Yu Zhijun Qiao Jiuhui Han Zhenyu Cui Jianli Kang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,5:1
7Cr^(3+)/Y^(3+)co-doped persistent luminescence nanoparticles with biological window activation for in vivo repeatable imaging显示文摘The near-infrared(NIR)persistent luminescence materials(PLMs)can remain long-lasting luminescence after removal of the excitation light,which permits bioimaging with high sensitivity owing to the absence of background fluorescence interference from in situ excitation.Recently,the NIR PLMs have aroused intensive research interest in bioimaging.However,the optimal excitation wavelength of current NIR PLMs is located in the ultraviolet region with shallow tissue penetration,making it difficult to activate effectively in vivo,and seriously hindering their further application in bioimaging.Herein,we report a novel kind of Cr^(3+)ions and Y^(3+)ions co-doped NIR PLM,Zn_(1.3)Ga_(1.4)Sn_(0.3)O_(4):Cr^(3+),Y^(3+)(ZGSCY),which emits NIR persistent luminescence at 696 nm.Compared with Zn_(1.3)Ga_(1.4)Sn_(0.3)O_(4):Cr^(3+)(ZGSC)excited by the light with a wavelength in the biological window(>650 nm),after being co-doped with Y^(3+)ions,the NIR persistent luminescence performance of ZGSCY is significantly improved because of the increase of trap concentration in the matrix.In addition,we synthesized ZGSCY nanoparticles(NPs)by the combustion method,which exhibit excellent optical properties after being excited by the light with a wavelength in the biological window.After surface modification with PEG,the ZGSCY NPs present low cytotoxicity.Notably,due to the co-doping of Y^(3+)ions,the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)of ZGSCY NPs in vivo imaging is about 1.8 times higher than that of the ZGSC NPs.Furthermore,the rechargeable in vivo imaging and passive tumor-targeted imaging are successfully achieved by activating with a lightemitting diode(LED,659 nm)after intravenous injection of ZGSCY.Thus,this kind of NIR PLM with high excitation efficiency performance in the biological window is expected to promote its biomedical application in deep tissues.Huimin Jiang Lin Liu Kexin Yu Xianggui Yin Shenghui Zheng Liang Song Junpeng Shi Yun Zhang 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,9:1
8A novel Gd-based phosphor NaGdGeO_(4):Bi^(3+),Li^(+)with super-long ultraviolet-A persistent luminescence显示文摘In very recent years,ultraviolet(UV)persistent luminescent materials(PLMs)have attracted widespread attention due to their potential biological applications.However,owing to the lack of suitable emitters and hosts,the design and development of excellent UV PLMs remain challenging.Here,we report a new Gd-based PLM NaGdGeO_(4):Bi^(3+)with super-long UVA persistent luminescence(PersL).By further codoping Li^(+)ions to increase the concentration of traps,the UVA PersL intensity of NaGdGeO_(4):Bi^(3+)is increased by 5.5 times.The optimal NaGdGeO_(4):Bi^(3+),Li^(+)exhibits excellent UVA PersL and can persist for more than 200 h.Moreover,the phosphor NaGdGeO_(4):Bi^(3+),Li^(+)also exhibits photostimulated property with a red LED or NIR laser excitation after the long-term decay,and can be activated by X-ray.This promising Gd-based UVA PLM is expected to have potential applications in biomedicine through triggering photocatalysts or photosensitizers by its UVA PersL to achieve photodynamic therapy and its potential ability of magnetic resonance(MR)imaging due to Gd^(3+)ions as MR imaging probe contained in the host NaGdGeO_(4).Lin Liu Kexin Yu Liyan Ming Yangyang Sheng Shenghui Zheng Liang Song Junpeng Shi Yun Zhang 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,9:1

10Nonlinear chirped pulse amplification for a 100-W-class GHz femtosecond all-fiber laser system at 1.5μm显示文摘In this work,we present a high-power,high-repetition-rate,all-fiber femtosecond laser system operating at 1.5μm.This all-fiber laser system can deliver femtosecond pulses at a fundamental repetition rate of 10.6 GHz with an average output power of 106.4 W–the highest average power reported so far from an all-fiber femtosecond laser at 1.5μm,to the best of our knowledge.By utilizing the soliton-effect-based pulse compression effect with optimized pre-chirping dispersion,the amplified pulses are compressed to 239 fs in an all-fiber configuration.Empowered by such a high-power ultrafast fiber laser system,we further explore the nonlinear interaction among transverse modes LP01,LP11 and LP21 that are expected to potentially exist in fiber laser systems using large-mode-area fibers.The intermodal modulational instability is theoretically investigated and subsequently identified in our experiments.Such a high-power all-fiber ultrafast laser without bulky free-space optics is anticipated to be a promising laser source for applications that specifically require compact and robust operation.Yiheng Fan Hao Xiu Wei Lin Xuewen Chen Xu Hu Wenlong Wang Junpeng Wen Hao Tian Molei Hao Chiyi Wei Luyi Wang Xiaoming Wei Zhongmin Yang 2023High Power Laser Science and Engineering2023,11,4:0

12A novel Li^(+)-doped MgLuGaO_(4)phosphor with stable white-light emission and long persistent luminescence显示文摘In recent years,white persistent luminescence materials have received extensive attention due to the potential application of white light in the field of plant growth lighting.The white persistent luminescence materials synthesized by traditional methods either have strict requirements on the concentration of doped ions or cannot produce white light continuously and stably due to different decay rates of various emission centers,which limits their further application.In our work,we successfully synthesized a novel Li^(+)-doped MgLuGaO_(4)phosphor with stable white-light emission and long persistent luminescence.The broadband emission of MgLuGaO_(4):Li^(+)is mainly located at 350-650 nm,which has no change at different decay time,showing stable white-light emission.The persistent luminescence intensity is increased by 3.8 times and the persistent luminescence time is extended from 24 h to more than 36 h by doping Li+ions.Stable white-light and long persistent luminescence emission make it promising to be used in plant growth lighting.Yangyang Sheng Liyan Ming Lin Liu Peng Lin Junpeng Shi Liang Song Yun Zhang 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,9:0
13Quiet rest ameliorates biochemical metabolism in the brain in a simple concussion rabbit model Evaluation of hydrogen proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy显示文摘The present study analyzed changes in the biochemical metabolites N-acetyl aspartate, choline, and creatine in a simple concussion rabbit model following quiet rest, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, or interference stimulation through the use of hydrogen proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy detection. Experimental findings showed that brain N-acetyl aspartate and choline peak values significantly decreased, while creatine peak values significantly increased following simple concussion. Following treatments, N-acetyl aspartate and choline peaks returned to normal levels in the quiet rest and hyperbaric oxygen therapy groups, but no changes were observed in the interference stimulation group. Results demonstrated abnormal changes in the brain biochemical metabolism environment following simple concussion. 14A New Exploration of Artificially Induced Spalted Wood of Two Fungi:Hypoxylon and Sistotrema显示文摘One strain of Hypoxylon sp.CXM-3 and one strain of Sistotrema brinkmannii CXM-4 were inoculated onto sterilized cherry,poplar,birch,and basswood sheets in a certain shape and incubated at constant temperature and humidity for 4,8,12,and 16 weeks,respectively,to analyze whether the grain pattern formed by the zone lines was consistent with the predetermined pattern.The results showed that the zone lines of CXM-3 of Hypoxylon were free,delicate,and soft,with brown lines and black staining,mostly accompanied by black and brown dots,facets,and clusters,while the zone lines of CXM-4 of Sistotrema brinkmannii grew along the predetermined grain,with strong lines and a clean surface.After inoculation and incubation at a constant temperature of 25℃±2℃ and humidity of 60%,Sistotrema brinkmannii CXM-4,on basswood veneer at 4-8 weeks and cherry veneer at 4-16 weeks,were able to develop zone lines following a predetermined grain.Artificially induced spalted wood can only maintain a large shape,which cannot guarantee that the pattern of large-scale production of spalted wood is exactly the same and cannot be accurate to the minute details.The artificial induction can thus result in the formation of a predetermined grain pattern of the mottled wood,thus enhancing the product value and artistic value of solid wood furniture and crafts.Yan Yan Junpeng Dong Haibo Hu Susu Yang Lin Liu Lei Qin 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,11:0
15X-ray excited Mn^(2+)-doped persistent luminescence materials with biological window emission for in vivo bioimaging显示文摘In recent years,persistent luminescence materials(PLMs)excited by X-rays and emitting in biological windows have received extensive attention in the field of high-sensitivity bioimaging.Transition metal Mn^(2+)is an ideal emission center,but few studies focus on Mn^(2+)-doped PLMs with X-ray excitation and biological window emission.Here,we report a Mn^(2+)-doped PLM,LiYGeO_(4):Mn^(2+)(LYGM),with excellent biological window persistent luminescence emission.After excitation by UV,LYGM produces a durable biological window of persistent luminescence emission at 660 nm for up to 20 h.More importantly.LYGM can be repeatedly excited by X-rays,resulting in long-term biological window persistent luminescence emission.In addition,we obtain LYGM around 200 nm in diameter by ball milling and centrifugation and improve its biocompatibility by surface modification to apply it to in vivo imaging in mice.After LYGM are injected into mice through the tail vein,in situ excitation of X-rays can be achieved.After the persistent luminescence decays,LYGM can be re-excited for repeated imaging.Therefore,LYGM shows potential prospects for in vivo deep tissue and long-term bioimaging.Hanrun Zheng Lin Liu Yi’ang Li Rui Rong Liang Song Junpeng Shi Jing Teng Xia Sun Yun Zhang 2024Journal of Rare Earths2024,42,1:0
16Analysis of plant resources and diversity in the southeast area of Taihang Mountains显示文摘Taihang Mountains are situated between Shanxi Province and the North China Plain,spanning Beijing,Hebei,Shanxi,and Henan provinces and cities.The mountains extend from northeast to southwest for over 400 km,naturally deviding the second step from the third one in China.The southeastern area of Taihang Mountains specifically refers to Changzhi City and Jincheng Administrative Region of Shanxi Province.Given Shanxi Province’s robust development plans for the southeast area of Taihang Mountains,the medicinal plant resources in this area will be affected.Therefore,it is imperative and urgent to conduct a comprehensive investigation and study on the medicinal plant resources in the southeast area of Taihang Mountains.By means of field investigation,literature review,and specimen identification,the plant resources and diversity of two counties in the southeast of Taihang Mountains were evaluated.The findings revealed 234 plants species across 172 genera in 70 families,primarily comprising angiosperms.The families with more species included Compositae,Leguminosae,Rosaceae,Labiatae,Ranunculaceae.Among the genera,those with more species were Cynanchum,Selaginella,Clematis,Thalictrum,and Rhamnus.A total of 114 medicinal plants were identified,constituting 48.72%of the total.Regarding medicinal parts,the concentration is in roots and rhizomes,followed by whole plants and fruits.On the basis of investigation and study,some suggestions on the development,utilization,and protection of medicinal plant resources in southeast Taihang Mountains were made.These suggestions provide valuable insights for the study on medicinal plant resources and vegetation in the southeast of Taihang Mountains,serving as a scientific basis for the protection and sustainable utilization of wild medicinal plant resources.Junpeng Lin Jingming Jia Anhua Wang 2024Asian Journal of Traditional Medicines2024,19,2:0
17Differential expression analysis of Liprin-α2 in hibernating bat (Rhinolophus ferrumequinum)显示文摘A PCR-based subtractive hybridization technique was used to identify genes up-regulated in the hibernating bat brain to explore the molecular mechanism of hibernation. Three genes, Liprin-a2, PTP4A2 and CAMKKb were difierentially expressed in hibernating bat brain tissue compared to active bat brain tissue. One of them, Liprin-a2, which has recently been shown to have the key function in the organization of presynaptic and postsynaptic multiprotein complexes was studied in detail. We demonstrated that the expression level of Liprin-a2 was up-regulated almost 4-fold in hibernating bat brains by RT-PCR compared to levels in active bats. The difierential expression pattern of Liprin-a2 was also detected in muscle, fat, brain and heart tissue of hibernating bats by real-time quantitative PCR. The result indicated that Liprin-a2 was over-expressed in brain and heart tissue and down-regulated in muscle and fat. In brain tissue of hibernating bats, Liprin-a2 expression was statistically significantly higher than in brain tissue of active controls (P = 0.029).
