1First dark matter search results from the PandaX-Ⅰ experiment显示文摘We report on the first dark-matter(DM)search results from PandaX-I,a low threshold dual-phase xenon experiment operating at the China JinPing Underground Laboratory.In the 37-kg liquid xenon target with 17.4 live-days of exposure,no DM particle candidate event was found.This result sets a stringent limit for low-mass DM particles and disfavors the interpretation of previously-reported positive experimental results.The minimum upper limit,3.7×10-44cm2,for the spin-independent isoscalar DM-particle-nucleon scattering cross section is obtained at a DM-particle mass of 49 GeV/c2at 90%confidence level.XIAO MengJiao XIAO Xiang ZHAO Li CAO XiGuang CHEN Xun CHEN YunHua CUI XiangYi FANG DeQing FU ChangBo GIBONI Karl L. 6Molecular movements of trehalose inside a single network enabling a rapidly-recoverable tough hydrogel显示文摘It remains a challenge to achieve rapidly recoverable hydrogels by molecular hydrogen-bonding interaction because of its slow inter-action kinetics.This work for the first time reports a trehalose(Tre)-based molecular movement mechanism inside a single network of polyacrylamide(PAM)that accelerates the kinetics of hydrogenbonding interaction,and thereby endows the hydrogel with high toughness and rapid shape and mechanical recoverability.The resultant PAM@Tre hydrogel is capable of full shape recovery after 10,000 loading/unloading cycles at a strain of 500%.Even after being stretched at a strain of 2500%,it can recover to its original shape within 10 seconds.Moreover,the molecular movement of trehalose also endows the PAM@Tre hydrogel with fracture energy and toughness as high as~9000 J m^(-2) and~1600 kJ m^(-3),respec-tively,leading to strong resistance to both static and dynamic piercing.The PAM@Tre hydrogel is thus believed to have enormous potentials in protection devices,bionic skin,soft actuator,and stretchable electronics.Xiaowen Huang Jimin Fu Huiyan Tan Yan Miu Mengda Xu Qiuhua Zhao Yujie Xie Shengtong Sun Haimin Yao Lidong Zhang 2022International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2022,13,4:0
7Surface terminals reconstruction:The way to widen the output voltage of MXene-based aqueous symmetrical microsupercapacitors显示文摘The low anodic oxidation potential severely suppresses the output voltage(≤0.6 V)of MXene-based symmetrical aqueous microsupercapacitors(MSA-MSCs)employing acidic electrolytes.Herein,a surface terminals reconstruction mechanism on cathode of MSA-MSCs adopting aqueous neutral electrolyte(1 M Na_(2)SO_(4))is first revealed by systematical electrochemical experiments and in/ex-situ spectral analysis,which indicates that:the-O terminals on Ti3C2Tx flakes of cathode can combine with intercalated Na+cations during charging process to reconstruct into-ONa units to(i)inhibit the splitting reaction of adjacent water molecules,decreasing cathodic hydrogen evolution potential,more significantly,(ii)lower the potential of zero voltage(P0V)between the symmetrical electrodes to avoid anode oxidation,enabling full use of the unexploited potential range of cathode.Thus,the output voltage of the MSA-MSCs tremendously expanded from 0.6 V in acidic polyacrylamide(PAM)/1 M H_(2)SO_(4)hydrogel electrolyte to 1.5 V in neutral polyacrylamide/1 M Na2SO4 hydrogel electrolyte,boosting the corresponding areal energy density from 9.9 to 34.6μW·h·cm^(-2).The demonstrated deep insight on the surface terminals reconstruction mechanism for synchronously modulating the P0V between symmetrical electrodes and hydrogen evolution potential on cathode provides critical guidance for widening the cell voltage of MSA-MSCs with safer and more inexpensive neutral electrolytes.Yudong Wu Jimin Fu Ningning He Jun Liu Tao Hua Chengbing Qin Haibo Hu 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
8Mn^(2+)-doped ZrO_(2)@PDA nanocomposite for multimodal imaging-guided chemo-photothermal combination therapy显示文摘Developing low toxicity and multifunctional theranostic nanoplatform is the key for precise cancer diagnosis and treatment.Herein,an inorganic-organic hybrid nanocomposite is designed by modifying zirconium dioxide(ZrO_(2)) with polydopamine(PDA) followed by doping Mn^(2+) ions and functionalizing with Tween 20(Tween-ZrO_(2)@PDA-Mn2+) for multimodal imaging and chemo-photothermal combination therapy.The as-prepared nanocomposite exhibits good biocompatibility in vitro and in vivo.Specifically,it can be employed as a multifunctional platform not only for computed tomography(CT)imaging and T1-weighted magnetic resonance(MR) imaging,but also for efficient chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin hydrochloride(DOX) loading.Importantly,because of the pronounced photothermal conversion performance and controllable DOX release ability triggered by the near-infrared(NIR)irradiation and acidic pH,the synergistic effect between photothermal the rapy and chemotherapy results in an enhanced cancer treatment efficacy in vivo.Our work provides a high-performance inorganicorganic hybrid nanotheranostic platform for chemo-photothermal cancer therapy guided by CT and MR imaging.Ning Chen Wenhui Fu Jie Zhou Linqiang Mei Jimin Yang Yang Tian Qiang Wang Wenyan Yin 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,8:0
