| 1 | CONSTRAINING FACTORS TO SUSTAINABLE UTILIZATION OF WATER RESOURCES AND THEIR COUNTERMEASURES IN CHINA显示文摘This paper discusses the constraining factors to sustainable utilization of water resources in China,and the countermeasures to realize sustainable water utilization. The result of comprehensive analysis shows that constraining factors to sustainable utilization of water resources in China are complicated,including physical geographical factors and socio-economic factors,such as uneven distribution of water resources at temporal and spatial scales,inappropriate institutional arrangement and non-water-saving and non-water-conservation production and life mode. The countermeasures against constraining factors to water resources sustainable development are put forward as follows: 1) using wetlands and forests,and through spatial conversion to realize temporally sustainable supply of water resources; 2) transferring water between basins and areas and developing various water resources in water shortage area; 3) establishing water-saving society; 4) strengthening water pollution control and water resources protection; and 5) establishing unified water resources management mechanism. | ZHAIJin-liang FENGRen-guo XIAJun | 2003 | Chinese Geographical Science2003,13,4: | 8 |

| 5 | Direct numerical simulation of a particle-laden weak-shearing plane jet显示文摘Direct numerical simulation (DNS) has been utilized to solve numerically a two dimensional compressible weak shearing plane jet, in which the jet exit velocity and the co flow velocity are in the same magnitude (2∶1 in this paper). We also use the one way coupling method to simulate the dispersion behaviors of solid particles in various representative sizes, i.e. St =0.01, 1, 10, 100, where St is the Stokes number. We get a vorticity field with fully varicose (symmetrical) modes and the entire precise processes of the rolling up of one spanwise vortex, the pairing of two vortexes and the mixing of three vortexes. The mean longitudinal velocity ( U ) profile compares well against the experimental results. The Reynolds stress profile looks special due to the symmetrical vorticity field. The particles whose St =0.01 reproduce the vortex structures in detail, and the ones of St =1 exhibit interesting self organized behaviors and possess the most non uniform concentration field. They disperse uniformly around the single and pairing vortex kernels, while a few of them are arranged almost in a straight line in the center region of the paring vortexes, which is caused by the contribution of the border of two vortexes in the pairing process. | 6 | Value of Magnetic Resonance Diffusion Weighted Imaging in Evaluating Cellular Density of Astrocytomas显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the value of apparent diffusion coefficients (ADC) in Magnetic Resonance diffusion weighted imaging (MR DWI) with echo-planar technique in depicting the tumor cellularity and grading of astrocytomas. Methods: Thirty-four patients with astrocytomas(18 male, 16 female, ages from 10-73 with average of 38.41) were examined by MRI and proved by surgery and pathology, and the number of grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ (low-grade) and grade Ⅲ-Ⅳ (high-grade) is 26 and 8 respectively. ADC values of astrocytomas were determined on MR DWI. Cellularity of astrocytomas was analyzed with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 software. Results: Mean ADC values of high-grade astrocytomas(7.34±2.95)×10^-4mm^2/s were significantly different from that of lowgrade astrocytomas(13.76±3.31)×10^-4mm^2/s (t=4.913, P<0.001). Cellularity of high-grade astrocytomas (19.81±9.73)% were significantly higher than that of low-grade astrocytomas (4.74±2.96)% (t=4.32,P=0.003). ADC values of astrocytomas significantly negatively correlated with their cellularities (r=-0.535, P=0.001). Conclusion: The cellularities of astrocytomas contribute very much to ADC values in MR DWI. MR DWI is very valuable in predicting and evaluating the cellularity of astrocytomas. | 18 | A Fast Approach for System-Level Power Modeling and Simulation显示文摘Power is one of the main constraints in SOC (System-on-a-chip) design. System-level power modeling and simulation help to reduce the power dissipation in early stage. But by reason of the variability of system architecture, the amount of simulation is vast which result in the simulation time is unacceptable. On the basis of previous work, a modified hybrid approach for core-based system-level power modeling is proposed in this paper, which enables SOC designers to estimate system power consumption under different core parameters and just simulates the system only once. Thereafter designers can make a trade-off rapidly between performance characters (such as power, area, speed and test, etc) and make a decision about which architecture is the best solution to implement system functionality. The key of our approach is to help the core designers to provide a power metric function to the core users and the effectiveness and efficiency of our approach hinge on whether the IP provider could provide an accurate power model of each core. A linear model is chosen to describe the relationship between power consumption and parameters and least-square-error is selected as the optimization criterion to mitigate error. | 19 | Content Determination of Flavonoids in Radix Millettiae Speciosae from Different Areas of Guangxi显示文摘[Objectives] This study aimed to investigate the quality of Radix Millettiae Speciosae at different planting sites in Guangxi. [Methods] The content of flavonoids in Radix Millettiae Speciosae was determined by HPLC. The chromatographic conditions were as follows: column, ZORBAX SB-C_(18); mobile phase, acetonitrile-0.1% glacial acetic acid(42∶58); detection wavelength, 250(formononetin) and 310(maackiain) nm; flow rate, 1.0 mL/min; and column temperature, 30℃. [Results] Under the chromatographic conditions above, formononetin and maackiain could be completely separated from impurities. The standard curve had a good linear relationship(R^2>0.999 9). The precision and stability met analysis requirements. The average recovery rates were 97.53% and 98.54%, respectively, and the RSD values were 2.03% and 1.88%, respectively, indicating that the established method has good reproducibility, durability and accuracy. The content of formononetin was highest in the Radix Millettiae Speciosae from Yongning District, Nanning City, and the content of maackiain was highest in the Radix Millettiae Speciosae from Xichang Town, Hepu County. [Conclusions] The HPLC method established in this study is simple, accurate and stable. It can be used as a quality control method for Radix Millettiae Speciosae. | 20 | Expression and function of transcription factor RUNX2 in synovial tissues of rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to explore the expression profile of transcription factor Runt-related transcription factor 2(RUNX2)in the synovial tissues of rheumatoid arthritis(RA)and its effect on the apoptosis of RA fibroblast-like synovial cells(RA-FLS),and to screen new targets for the diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of RA.Methods:The expression and localization of mRNA and protein of RUNX2 in the synovial tissues were detected by real-time quantitative PCR(q PCR)and immunohistochemical staining,respectively.The effect of the expression of exogenous RUNX2 on the apoptosis process of RA-FLS cell line MH7A was investigated by flow cytometry,and the activation of NF-κB signaling pathway was detected by western blotting.Results:The expression of RUNX2 mRNA was significantly higher in the synovial tissues from RA patients,compared to that in the OA patients(P<0.05).RUNX2 protein was mainly localized in the nuclear of the RA synovial cells.Overexpression of exogenous RUNX2 could notably decrease the apoptosis of RA-FLS,which was substantially reversed by pretreatment with SN50,a specific inhibitor of NF-κB pathway.Compared with blank group and negative control group(p CMV6-AC-GFP-vector),the apoptotic rate of exogenous RUNX2 overexpressing(pCMV6-AC-GFP-RUNX2)MH7A cells was significantly decreased(P<0.05).NF-κB signaling pathway activity was significantly increased(P<0.05),and this effect could be effectively reversed by NF-κB signal pathway-specific inhibitor SN5.Conclusion:The high expression of UNX2 in RA synoviocytes could significantly inhibit the spontaneous apoptosis of cells,and it was related to the abnormal activation of NF-κB signaling pathway.In-depth studies of RUNX2/NF-κB signaling pathways will help to identify novel therapeutic targets for RA. | Jin Zhang Xinhu Wang Xiajun Liu Yuanchi Huang Qing She | 2017 | 广西医科大学学报2017,34,10: | 0 |
