1An efficient RNS parity checker for moduli set{2~n-1,2~n+1,2^(2n)+1}and its applications显示文摘Residue number system (RNS) has received considerable attention since decades before,because it has inherent carry-free and parallel properties in addition,sub-traction,and multiplication operations. For an odd moduli set,the fundamental problems in RNS,such as number comparison,sign determination,and overflow detection,can be solved based on parity checking. The paper proposes a parity checking algorithm along with related propositions and the certification based on the celebrated Chinese remainder theory (CRT) and mixed radix conversion (MRC) for the moduli set {2n-1,2n+1,22n+1}. The parity checker consists of two modular adders and a carry-look-ahead chain. The hardware implementation requires less area and path delay. Besides,the implementations of number comparison,sign determination,and overflow detection,which are based on this parity checker,are also performed in this paper. 2A 2~n scaling scheme for signed RNS integers and its VLSI implementation显示文摘High effcient implementation of scaling in residue number system (RNS) is one of the critical issues for the applications of RNS in digital signal processing (DSP) systems. In this paper, an effcient scaling algorithm for signed integers in RNS is proposed firstly through introducing a correction constant in negative integers scaling procedure. Based on the proposed scaling algorithm, an effcient RNS 2n scaling implementation method is presented, in which Chinese remainder theorem (CRT) and a redundant modulus are used to perform the base extension to obtain the least significant n bits of RNS integers. With the redundant modulus, the RNS sign detection can be achieved by the parity detection. And then, an approach to update the residue digit of the redundant channel is also proposed. Meanwhile, this paper provides a method of computing the correction constant of the redundant channel in negative integers scaling. The analysis results indicate that the complexity of the proposed scaling algorithm grows linearly with the word-length of the RNS dynamic range without using Look-up Table (LUT). Furthermore, the proposed algorithm is employed for a specific moduli set 2n scaling. The synthesis results show that the critical path of the proposed algorithm is shortened by 12%, the area and power consumption performance is improved by about 35%, compared to the existing cascading 2n scaling method for very large scale integration (VLSI) implementation under the same restriction. 3In situ self-assembled organoid for osteochondral tissue regeneration with dual functional units显示文摘The regeneration of hierarchical osteochondral units is challenging due to difficulties in inducing spatial,directional and controllable differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)into cartilage and bone compartments.Emerging organoid technology offers new opportunities for osteochondral regeneration.In this study,we developed gelatin-based microcryogels customized using hyaluronic acid(HA)and hydroxyapatite(HYP),respectively for inducing cartilage and bone regeneration(denoted as CH-Microcryogels and OS-Microcryogels)through in vivo self-assembly into osteochondral organoids.The customized microcryogels showed good cytocompatibility and induced chondrogenic and osteogenic differentiation of MSCs,while also demonstrating the ability to self-assemble into osteochondral organoids with no delamination in the biphasic cartilage-bone structure.Analysis by mRNA-seq showed that CH-Microcryogels promoted chondrogenic differentiation and inhibited inflammation,while OS-Microcryogels facilitated osteogenic differentiation and suppressed the immune response,by regulating specific signaling pathways.Finally,the in vivo engraftment of pre-differentiated customized microcryogels into canine osteochondral defects resulted in the spontaneous assembly of an osteochondral unit,inducing simultaneous regeneration of both articular cartilage and subchondral bone.In conclusion,this novel approach for generating self-assembling osteochondral organoids utilizing tailor-made microcryogels presents a highly promising avenue for advancing the field of tissue engineering.Zhen Yang Bin Wang Wei Liu Xiaoke Li Kaini Liang Zejun Fan Jiao Jiao Li Yudi Niu Zihao He Hui Li Du Wang Jianjing Lin Yanan Du Jianhao Lin Dan Xing 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,9:2

6A multi-band atomic candle with microwave-dressed Rydberg atoms显示文摘Stabilizing important physical quantities to atom-based standards lies at the heart of modern atomic,molecular and optical physics,and is widely applied to the field of precision metrology.Of particular importance is the atom-based microwave field amplitude stabilizer,the so-called atomic candle.Previous atomic candles are realized with atoms in their ground state,and hence suffer from the lack of frequency band tunability and small stabilization bandwidth,severely limiting their development and potential applications.To tackle these limitations,we employ microwave-dressed Rydberg atoms to realize a novel atomic candle that features multi-band frequency tunability and large stabilization bandwidth.We demonstrate amplitude stabilization of microwave field from C-band to Ka-band,which could be extended to quasi-DC and terahertz fields by exploring abundant Rydberg levels.Our atomic candle achieves stabilization bandwidth of 100 Hz,outperforming previous ones by more than two orders of magnitude.Our simulation indicates the stabilization bandwidth can be further increased up to 100 kHz.Our work paves a route to develop novel electric field control and applications with a noise-resilient,miniaturized,sensitive and broadband atomic candle.Yafen Cai Shuai Shi Yijia Zhou Jianhao Yu Yali Tian Yitong Li Kuan Zhang Chenhao Du Weibin Li Lin Li 2023Frontiers of physics2023,18,1:1
7A Case of Corneoscleral Dellen after Medial Rectus Recession Combined with Pterygium Resection in Right Eye显示文摘Purpose:A case of corneoscleral dellen after medial rectus recession combined with pterygium resection was reported. Methods: Case report Results:A male patient aged 48 years had ghost for 1 year after acoustic neuroma resection.The patient was diagnosed with rectus paresis in the right eye. He successfully underwent medial rectus recession combined with pterygium resection. A corneoscleral dellen with a size of 2 ×2 mm was observed at 20 d postoperatively. The thinnest cornea was 147 um, diagnosed as corneoscleral dellen, which was cured after undergoing corneal limbal stem cell transplantation with conjunctival flap. Conclusion:Corneoscleral dellen is noninfectious corneoscleral ulcer caused by complex reasons.Most cases recovered by using artificial tears,antibiotic ointment and eye wrap,and other patients required corneal limbal stem cell transplantation with conjunctival flap, even keratoplasty. 9Competitive Redox Chemistries in Vanadium Niobium Oxide for Ultrafast and Durable Lithium Storage显示文摘Niobium pentoxide(Nb_(2)O_(5))anodes have gained increasing attentions for high-power lithium-ion batteries owing to the outstanding rate capability and high safety.However,Nb2O5 anode suffers poor cycle stability even after modified and the unrevealed mechanisms have restricted the practical applications.Herein,the over-reduction of Nb5+has been demonstrated to be the critical reason for the capacity loss for the first time.Besides,an effective competitive redox strategy has been developed to solve the rapid capacity decay of Nb_(2)O_(5),which can be achieved by the incorporation of vanadium to form a new rutile VNbO_(4)anode.The highly reversible V^(3+)/V^(2+)redox couple in VNbO_(4)can effectively inhibit the over-reduction of Nb^(5+).Besides,the electron migration from V^(3+)to Nb5+can greatly increase the intrinsic electronic conductivity for VNbO4.As a result,VNbO4 anode delivers a high capacity of 206.1 mAh g^(−1)at 0.1 A g^(−1),as well as remarkable cycle performance with a retention of 93.4%after 2000 cycles at 1.0 A g^(−1).In addition,the assembled lithium-ion capacitor demonstrates a high energy density of 44 Wh kg^(−1)at 5.8 kW kg^(−1).In summary,our work provides a new insight into the design of ultra-fast and durable anodes.Xiaobo Ding Jianhao Lin Huiying Huang Bote Zhao Xunhui Xiong 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,11:0

11Blinking CsPbBr_(3) perovskite nanocrystals for the nanoscopic imaging of electrospun nanofibers显示文摘Blinking fluorophore perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) were employed to image the fine structure of the polystyrene (PS) electrospun fibers. The conditions of CsPbBr3 NCs embedded and dispersed into PS were investigated and optimized. The stochastic optical reconstruction microscopy is employed to visualize the fine structure of the resulted CsPbBr3@PS electrospun fibers at sub-diffraction limit. The determined resolution in the reconstructed nanoscopic image is around 25.5 nm, which is much narrower than that of conventional fluorescence image. The complex reticulation and multicompartment in bead sub-diffraction-limited structures of CsPbBr3@PS electrospun fibers were successfully mapped with the help of the stochastic blinking properties of CsPbBr3 NCs. 12Fast Surface Restructuring within the Gap of Au Nanocube Dimer for the Enhancement of Catalytic Efficiency显示文摘Identification of the catalytic dynamics and plasmonic effects plays a critical role in the design of heterogeneous catalysts.However,the knowledge of plasmonic effect on catalytic dynamics remains limited at the single-particle level.Using the non-fluorescent amplex red to fluorescent resorufin as a model reaction,significant enhancement in catalytic efficiency from the coupled Au nanocube dimer(AuCD)was clearly revealed with the single-molecule fluorescence microscopy.AuCD exhibits noticeably higher catalytic efficiency than the monomer,which is attributed to the spontaneous dynamic surface restructuring.Spatiotemporally resolved dynamics suggest that the active catalytic sites essentially originate from the plasmonic nanogap where an electromagnetic(EM)hot spot exists.The enhanced EM field accelerates the generation of hot carriers and promotes the spontaneous surface restructuring by enhancing the lattice vibrations,which ultimately improves the catalytic activity.These microscopic views provide new insights into the effect of EM fields on surface restructuring dynamics of nanocatalysts.Xiao Wang Zhongju Ye Jianhao Hua Lin Wei Shen Lin Lehui Xiao 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,3:0
13Is economic policy uncertainty a major fluctuation factor?Based on a new mixed identification method显示文摘To investigate to what extent economic policy uncertainty affects China’s macroeconomic fluctuations,we construct a mixed identification scheme that combines some regular sign restrictions with zero restriction in a SVAR model,aiming to simultaneously identify economic policy uncertainty shocks and the three conventional structural shocks of demand,supply and monetary policy.The research shows that(1)economic policy uncertainty shocks,though not the major factor for economic fluctuations in China,exhibit characteristics similar to those of negative demand shocks with inflation effect obviously stronger than output effect;(2)in the full sample period,demand shocks are the primary driving factor for China’s economic fluctuations,followed by supply shocks;(3)supply shocks are the most important driving force behind inflation and monetary policy adds fuel to the flame,while economic policy uncertainty shocks exert obvious inhibition on inflation.The academic contribution of this paper is showing some robust empirical facts of economic policy uncertainty’s effects on macroeconomic fluctuations from the biggest developing country,and the policy implication of our research is to provide academic support for the decision of“macroeconomic policies should remain stable”.Tian Lei Lin Jianhao Zhang Shaohua 2017China Finance and Economic Review2017,6,4:0
