| 5 | TGIF2 promotes the progression of lung adenocarcinoma by bridging EGFR/RAS/ERK signaling to cancer cell stemness显示文摘TGF-β-induced factor homeobox 2(TGIF2)is a transcription regulator that plays essential roles in the regulation of development and cell fate decisions.Aberrant expression of TGIF family proteins has been observed in several cancers,including ovarian,esophageal,and colorectal cancers.Here,we report that TGIF2 mediates the EGFR–RAS–ERK signaling pathway to enhance the stemness of lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)cells and,therefore,promote the progression and metastasis of LUAD.We found that high TGIF2 expression was closely correlated with tumor growth,lymph node metastasis,and survival of patients with LUAD.Mice bearing TGIF2-silenced H1299 xenografts developed smaller tumors and fewer lung metastases.Importantly,silencing TGIF2 decreased the cancer stem cell(CSC)-like properties in A549 and H1299 cells.Furthermore,we identified that TGIF2 binding to the OCT4 promoter promotes its expression.In both LUAD cells and in vivo LUAD mouse models,we revealed that EGFR–RAS–ERK signaling phosphorylated TGIF2 and increased its stability,which was important for TGIF2-promoted LUAD stemness since phosphorylation-deficient TGIF2 mutants lost these functions.Thus,our study revealed that an important factor,TGIF2,bridges EGFR signaling to the CSC characteristics of LUAD cells,which can be utilized as an effective target for LUAD therapy. | Renle Du Wenzhi Shen Yi Liu Wenjuan Gao Wei Zhou Jun Li Shuangtao Zhao Chong Chen Yanan Chen Yanhua Liu Peiqing Sun Rong Xiang Yi Shi Yunping Luo | 2019 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2019,4,1: | 7 |
| 6 | De novo assembly and comparative analysis of root transcriptomes from different varieties of Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer grown in different environments显示文摘Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer is an important traditional herb in eastern Asia. It contains ginsenosides, which are primary bioactive compounds with medicinal properties. Although ginseng has been cultivated since at least the Ming dynasty to increase production, cultivated ginseng has lower quantities of ginsenosides and lower disease resistance than ginseng grown under natural conditions. We extracted root RNA from six varieties of fifth-year P. ginseng cultivars representing four different growth conditions, and performed Illumina paired-end sequencing. In total, 163,165,706 raw reads were obtained and used to generate a de novo transcriptome that consisted of 151,763 contigs(76,336 unigenes), of which 100,648 contigs(66.3%) were successfully annotated. Differential expression analysis revealed that most differentially expressed genes(DEGs) were upregulated(246 out of 258, 95.3%) in ginseng grown under natural conditions compared with that grown under artificial conditions. These DEGs were enriched in gene ontology(GO) terms including response to stimuli and localization. In particular, some key ginsenoside biosynthesis-related genes, including HMG-Co A synthase(HMGS), mevalonate kinase(MVK), and squalene epoxidase(SE), were upregulated in wild-grown ginseng. Moreover, a high proportion of disease resistance-related genes were upregulated in wild-grown ginseng. | 7 | Black phosphorus inverter devices enabled by in-situ aluminum surface modification显示文摘Two-dimensional black phosphorus (BP) generally exhibits a hole-dominated transport characteristic when configured as field-effect transistor devices. The effective control of charge carrier type and concentration is very crucial for the application of BP in complementary electronics. Herein, we report a facile and effective electron doping methodology on BP, through in situ surface modification with aluminum (Al). The electron mobility of few-layer BP is found to be largely enhanced to ~ 10.6 cm^2·V^–1·s^–1 by over 6 times after aluminum modification. In situ photoelectron spectroscopy characterization reveals the formation of Al–P covalent bond at the interface, which can also serve as local gate to tune the transport properties in BP layers. | 8 | Analysis of magnetotail flux rope events by ARTEMIS observations显示文摘Three earthward flowing magnetic flux ropes observed in the duskside plasma sheet at geocentric solar magnetospheric coordinate X~–55 Re by P1 and P2 of acceleration,reconnection,turbulence and electrodynamics of moon’s interaction with the sun mission during 13:00–15:00 UT on July 3,2012,were studied.The morphologies of the flux ropes were studied in detail based on Grad-Shfranov reconstruction method and electronic pitch angle distribution data.It is found that(1)the flux rope cross-sectional dimensions are 1.0 Re×0.78 Re,1.3 Re×0.78 Re,and 2.5 Re×1.25 Re,respectively.The magnetic field lines were asymmetric about the center with field line compression on both sides of the current sheet at the leading region;(2)the electron energy flux data presented asymmetry with larger electron flux and lower temperature in the precursor region.The flux ropes were blocked by the resistance of compressed particle density in the front central plasma sheet and the enhanced magnetic field on its sides;and(3)it is found that the flux rope has a layered structure.From inside out,event 1 can be divided into three regions,namely electronic depletion core region,closed field line region,and the caudal area possible with fields connected with the ionosphere.It suggests that the flux ropes cannot merge with the tail magnetic field lines near the lunar orbit.Especially,the flux rope asymmetrical shape reflects the different reconnection processes that caused it on both sides of the magnetic structure.The events shown in this paper support the multiple X-line magnetic reconnection model for flux ropes with in situ observations. | TIAN AnMin SHI QuanQi ZONG QiuGang DU Jian FU SuiYan DAI YaNan | 2014 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,5: | 5 |

| 11 | A time sequence protocol to achieve the effect of fair exchange without trusted third party显示文摘A fair exchange protocol allows two parties to exchange items in a fair way, such that either both parties obtain the other's item or neither party does. In this paper, we propose a time sequence protocol for exchanging participants' warrants without a trusted third party(TTP). Then, each participant is able to sign a proxy signature on behalf of its opponent. Owing to the proxy signature's restriction, the scheme achieves the desired effect of fair exchange of digital signatures. Our scheme is based on a time sequence rather than computation, and can be realized without the use of a TTP, thus differing from the existing fair exchange schemes. Compared with a concurrent signature, the proposed scheme does not need to release a keystone to wake the signatures when they exchange information fairly. The only advantage to the initial party is that it has the right to determine whether the exchanged warrants are valid before a designated time. However, because of the properties of proxy signatures, the initial party ultimately derives no benefit from this advantage. The average integrated intensity is Eave = 8.13×1013 erg·cm-1· s-1·ster-1 at h = 1100 km, which confirms that the HeI D3 emission is negatively correlated with the solar activity. | 15 | Stable confinement of Fe/Fe_(3)C in Fe,N-codoped carbon nanotube towards robust zinc-air batteries显示文摘Catalytic oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)have garnered great attention as the key character in metal-air batteries.Herein,we developed a superior nonprecious bifunctional oxygen electrocatalyst,fabricated through spatial confinement of Fe/Fe_(3)C nanocrystals in pyridinic N and Fe-Nx rich carbon nanotubes(Fe/Fe_(3)C-N-CNTs).During ORR,the resultant electrocatalyst exhibits positive onset pote ntial of 1.0 V(vs.RHE),large half-wave potentials of 0.88 V(vs.RHE),which is more positive than Pt/C(0.98 V and 0.83 V,respectively).Remarkably,Fe/Fe_(3)C-N-CNTs exhibits outstanding durability and great methanol tolerance,exceeding Pt/C and most reported nonprecious metal-based oxygen reduction electrocatalysts.Moreover,Fe/Fe_(3)C-N-CNTs show a markedly low potential at j=10 mA/cm^(2),small Tafel slopes and extremely high stability for OER.Impressively,the Fe/Fe_(3)C-N-CNTs-based Zn-air batteries demonstrate high power density of 183 mW/cm^(2)and robust charge/discharge stability.It is revealed that the spatial confinement effect can impede the aggregation and corrosion of Fe/Fe_(3)C nanocrystals.Meanwhile,Fe/Fe_(3)C and Fe-Nx play synergistic effect on boosting the ORR/OER activity,which provides an important guideline for construction of inexpensive nonprecious metal-carbon hybrid nanomaterials. | Lingbo Zong Xin Chen Shuming Dou Kaicai Fan Zumin Wang Wenjun Zhang Yunmei Du Jie Xu Xiaofei Jia Qi Zhang Xia Li Yida Deng Yanan Chen Lei Wang | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,3: | 2 |

| 20 | Quantum fireworks algorithm for optimal cooperation mechanism of energy harvesting cognitive radio显示文摘For acquiring high energy efficiency and the maximal throughput, a new time slot structure is designed for energy harvesting(EH) cognitive radio(CR). Considering the CR system with EH and cooperative relay, a best cooperative mechanism(BCM)is proposed for CR with EH. To get the optimal estimation performance, a quantum fireworks algorithm(QFA) is designed to resolve the difficulties of maximal throughput and EH, and the proposed cooperative mechanism is called as QFA-BCM. The proposed QFA combines the advantages of quantum computation theory with the fireworks algorithm(FA). Thus the QFA is able to obtain the optimal solution and its convergence performance is proved. By using the new cooperation mechanism and computing algorithm, the proposed QFA-BCM method can achieve comparable maximal throughput in the new timeslot structure.
