| 2 | Geochronology, Geochemistry and Sr-Nd-Pb-Hf Isotopes of No. I Complex from the Shitoukengde Ni–Cu Sulfide Deposit in the Eastern Kunlun Orogen, Western China: Implications for the Magmatic Source, Geodynamic Setting and Genesis显示文摘The Shitoukengde Ni-Cu deposit, located in the Eastern Kunlun Orogen, comprises three mafic–ultramafic complexes, with the No. I complex hosting six Ni-Cu orebodies found recently. The deposit is hosted in the small ultramafic bodies intruding Proterozoic metamorphic rocks. Complexes at Shitoukengde contain all kinds of mafic-ultramafic rocks, and olivine websterite and pyroxene peridotite are the most important Ni-Cu-hosted rocks. Zircon U-Pb dating suggests that the Shitoukengde Ni-Cu deposit formed in late Silurian(426–422 Ma), and their zircons have εHf(t) values of-9.4 to 5.9 with the older T_(DM1) ages(0.80–1.42 Ga). Mafic-ultramafic rocks from the No. I complex show the similar rare earth and trace element patterns, which are enriched in light rare earth elements and large ion lithophile elements(e.g., K, Rb, Th) and depleted in heavy rare earth elements and high field strength elements(e.g., Ta, Nb, Zr, Ti). Sulfides from the deposit have the slightly higher δ^(34)S values of 1.9–4.3‰ than the mantle(0 ± 2‰). The major and trace element characteristics, and Sr-Nd-Pb and Hf, S isotopes indicate that their parental magmas originated from a metasomatised, asthenospheric mantle source which had previously been modified by subduction-related fluids, and experienced significant crustal contamination both in the magma chamber and during ascent triggering S oversaturation by addition of S and Si, that resulted in the deposition and enrichment of sulfides. | 3 | Tumor-expressed B7-H3 mediates the inhibition of antitumor T-cell functions in ovarian cancer insensitive to PD-1 blockade therapy显示文摘Although PD-L1/PD-1 blockade therapy has been approved to treat many types of cancers,the majority of patients with solid tumors do not respond well,but the underlying reason remains unclear.Here,we studied ovarian cancer(OvCa),a tumor type generally resistant to current immunotherapies,to investigate PD-1-independent immunosuppression.We found that PD-L1 was not highly expressed in the tumor microenvironment(TME)of human OvCa.Instead,B7-H3,another checkpoint molecule,was highly expressed by both tumor cells and tumor-infiltrating antigen-presenting cells(APCs),which correlated with T-cell exhaustion in patients.Using ID8 OvCa mouse models,we found that B7-H3 expressed on tumor cells,but not host cells,had a dominant role in suppressing antitumor immunity.Therapeutically,B7-H3 blockade,but not PD-1 blockade,prolonged the survival of ID8 tumorbearing mice.Collectively,our results demonstrate that tumor-expressed B7-H3 inhibits the function of CD8^(+)T cells and suggest that B7-H3 may be a target in patients who are not responsive to PD-L1/PD-1 inhibition,particularly OvCa patients. | Dongli Cai Jiaming Li Dingfeng Liu Shanjuan Hong Qin Qiao Qinli Sun Pingping Li Nanan Lyu Tiantian Sun Shan Xie Li Guo Ling Ni Liping Jin Chen Dong | 2020 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,3: | 8 |

| 6 | Study on the synergy between intra-urban resident's migration and job change in Beijing显示文摘People's decisions of residential mobility in housing market and decisions of job change in labor market play an essential role in the formation and dynamics of urban spatial structure. This paper investigates the relationship between residential relocation and job change and its heterogeneity using a large-scale survey of residential living satisfaction and preferences in Beijing. Several conclusions are drawn as follows: 1) People's decisions of residential mobility are significantly positively correlated with their decisions of job change, indicating that these two-dimensional decisions are in fact a correlated decision process rather than two independent decision processes. 2) There is heterogeneity in the correlated decisions of residential mobility and job change. More specifically, the interrelationship between the decisions of residential mobility and job change among people without Beijing hukou, renters and single-worker households is more intensive than people with Beijing hukou, homeowners and multi-worker households. | 7 | Low‐intensity pulsed ultrasound ameliorates angiotensin II-induced cardiac fibrosis by alleviating inflammation via a caveolin-1-dependent pathway显示文摘Objective:Cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis are major pathological manifestations observed in left ventricular remodeling induced by angiotensin II(AngII).Low-intensity pulsed ultrasound(LIPUS)has been reported to ameliorate cardiac dysfunction and myocardial fibrosis in myocardial infarction(MI)through mechano-transduction and its downstream pathways.In this study,we aimed to investigate whether LIPUS could exert a protective effect by ameliorating AngII-induced cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis and if so,to further elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms.Methods:We used AngII to mimic animal and cell culture models of cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis.LIPUS irradiation was applied in vivo for 20 min every 2 d from one week before mini-pump implantation to four weeks after mini-pump implantation,and in vitro for 20 min on each of two occasions 6 h apart.Cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis levels were then evaluated by echocardiographic,histopathological,and molecular biological methods.Results:Our results showed that LIPUS could ameliorate left ventricular remodeling in vivo and cardiac fibrosis in vitro by reducing AngII-induced release of inflammatory cytokines,but the protective effects on cardiac hypertrophy were limited in vitro.Given that LIPUS increased the expression of caveolin-1 in response to mechanical stimulation,we inhibited caveolin-1 activity with pyrazolopyrimidine 2(pp2)in vivo and in vitro.LIPUS-induced downregulation of inflammation was reversed and the anti-fibrotic effects of LIPUS were absent.Conclusions:These results indicated that LIPUS could ameliorate AngII-induced cardiac fibrosis by alleviating inflammation via a caveolin-1-dependent pathway,providing new insights for the development of novel therapeutic apparatus in clinical practice. | Kun ZHAO Jing ZHANG Tianhua XU Chuanxi YANG LiqingWENG TingtingWU XiaoguangWU Jiaming MIAO Xiasheng GUO Juan TU Dong ZHANG Bin ZHOU Wei SUN Xiangqing KONG | 2021 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2021,22,10: | 2 |
| 8 | Experimental study on improving collapsible loess with cement显示文摘The collapsibility of loess ground can directly affect stability of subgrade. Therefore, how to adopt practical technical measures to reduce or eliminate its collapse deformation is an important content in foundation design in collapsible loess zone. Selecting collapsible loess from Fuxin-Chaoyang highway in Liaoning, the authors conducted a series of tests for improving loess with cement. The loess in different water content was mixed with the cement in varying proportions, unconfined compression strength for the samples at four different curing periods were tested, and the relationships of improved soil strength among cement mixture ratio and curing periods were analyzed. When the curing periods are certain, the strength of loess increases along with the mixture ratio increases; when the cement mixture ratio is 5%-15%, the scope of increases is quite obvious; when the mixture ratio is greater than 15%, the tendency of intensity increases turns slow. | 12 | Effect of rare-earth doping on the dielectric property and polarization behavior of antiferroelectric sodium niobate-based ceramics显示文摘The lead-free 0.96NaNbO_(3)-0.04CaSnO_(3) ceramics with rare-earth dopants(La,Sm and Lu)(NCLn100x)were prepared and characterized.It is found that a certain amount of La substitution stabilizes the antiferroelectric(AFE)phase but alleviates the lattice distortion in the fresh samples.Re-entrant-like characteristics are observed in the temperature e dielectric constant curves with the room temperature P phase gradually replaced by a possible R phase.Relaxor-like hysteresis loops with suppressed hysteresis loss and remanent polarization were obtained at high La content,achieving a relatively high Wre of 2.1 J/cm^(3) at a low electric field(250 kV/cm).The relaxation behaviors of the ferroelectric(FE)domain measured by piezoresponse force microscopy suggest an even long characteristic relaxation time of field-induced FE phase,which is different from the situations of other AFE perovskites.Via an explanatory defected diatomic chain model,we propose that a much larger mass of substitutive ion than the origin one helps to induce low-frequency localized mode,which is believed to be in favor of the formation of polar nano-regions and hence strengthens the dynamic stability of FE phase during electric field loading.Our research provides a further understanding of the tuning strategy for enhancing the antiferroelectricity of the NaNbO_(3)-based system. | Jiaming Ye Genshui Wang Xuefeng Chen Xianlin Dong | 2021 | Journal of Materiomics2021,7,2: | 1 |
| 13 | A three-dimensional digital visualization model of cervical nerves in a healthy person显示文摘Three-dimensional reconstruction nerve models are classically obtained from two-dimensional images of 'visible human' frozen sections. However, because of the flexibility of nerve tissues and small color differences compared with surrounding tissues, the integrity and validity of nerve tissues can be impaired during milling. Thus, in the present study, we obtained two-dimensional data from a healthy volunteer based on continuous CT angiography and magnetic resonance myelography. Semi-automatic segmentation and reconstruction were then conducted at different thresholds in different tissues using Mimics software. Small anatomical structures such as muscles and cervical nerves were reconstructed using the medical computer aided design module. Three-dimensional digital models of the cervical nerves and their surrounding structures were successfully developed, which allowed visualization of the spatial relation of anatomical structures with a strong three-dimensional effect, distinct appearance, clear distribution, and good continuity, precision, and integrality. | 14 | Semi-interpenetrating polymer networks toward sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) membranes for high concentration direct methanol fuel cell显示文摘Low methanol permeability of proton exchange membranes (PEMs) is greatly important for direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs). Here, sulfonated poly (ether ether ketone) (SPEEK) based semiinterpenetrating polymer networks (semi-IPNs) are successfully prepared by interpenetrating SPEEK into the in-situ synthesized crosslinking networks. The polymeric networks are formed by the covalent bonds between bromobenzyl groups of bro mo methylated poly (phenylene oxide) and amine groups of diamine linkers as well as the ionic bonds between amine species and sulfonated groups. Two linkers without and with sulfonated groups are applied to fabricate the semi-IPNs. The core properties of the membranes, like phase separation, water uptake, proton conductivity and methanol permeability, are systematically studied and compared. The DMFCs assembled by using the semi-IPN membranes display better performance than Nafion 117 in high concentration methanol solutions. | 15 | Molecular characterization and antibiotic resistance of Salmonella enterica serovar 1,4,[5],12:i:-environmental isolates from poultry farms显示文摘Salmonella enterica serovar 1,4,[5],12:i:-(S.1,4,[5],12:i:-)has been recognized as an emerging foodborne pathogen in recent years.It can cause human salmonellosis predominated by the contamination of animal-derived foods such as raw poultry and pork.This study aimed to characterize the genetic diversity,plasmid replicon types,and antibiotic resistance of 15 S.1,4,[5],12:i:-environmental isolates collected from two poultry farms using pulsed-field gel electrophoresis(PFGE),multilocus sequence typing(MLST),polymerase chain reaction-based replicon typing,and minimum inhibitory concentration approach.Ten different PFGE genotypes were detected,indicating a high diversity among these S.1,4,[5],12:i:-isolates.Three sequence types(ST19,ST1544,ST34)were identified by MLST.Among them,ST1544 was first detected in S.1,4,[5],12:i:-environmental isolates from poultry farms.All isolates were resistant to cefazolin,cefotetan,tobramycin,amikacin,and gentamicin,but susceptible to piperacillin-tazobactam,aztreonam,ceftazidime,cefepime,and ertapenem.Five incompatibility groups(Inc)of plasmids were identified,including IncFIIs(66.7%),IncHI2(20%),IncI1(6.7%),IncN(6.7%),and IncQ(6.7%).Among these isolates,80%carried at least one plasmid replicon type,and 20%carried multiple plasmid replicon types.Interestingly,the multidrug-resistant isolate 263 carried numerous resistance genes(i.e.qnrS,aac(6ʹ)-Ib-cr,bla_(TEM),bla_(CTX-M-9),bla_(OXA-1),sul1,sul2,sul3,floR,and mcr-1)and class I integronase gene intI1,which possessed both IncHI2 and IncQ plasmids,suggesting that resistance genes may be horizontally transferred by the combination of IncHI2 and IncQ plasmids.Collectively,antibiotic-resistant S.1,4,[5],12:i:-isolates were first found in poultry farm environments in China,and surveillance should be strengthened to prevent their further spread from poultry farms to foods. | Xiaojie Qin Linlin Xiao Jiaming Li Mingzhe Yang Changying Yang Qingli Dong | 2022 | Food Quality and Safety2022,6,4: | 0 |
| 16 | Petrogenesis of the Chaihulanzi Gneiss and its Tectonic Implications for the North China Craton显示文摘The Chaihulanzi area in eastern Inner Mongolia is tectonically situated on the northern margin of the North China Craton(NCC). The main Precambrian lithologies of the area have been referred to the Archean Jianping Group metasupracrustal sequences. Based on field observations, petrographic, whole-rock geochemical, and zircon U-Pb geochronological results, a magmatic origin for the units is proposed. Our results show that the Chaihulanzi gneisses are mainly of granitic, dioritic and granodioritic compositions, and show typical magmatic rock textures and mineral assemblages. The dioritic and granodioritic gneisses show Na-rich tonalite–trondhjemite–granodiorite(TTG)-like affinity with zircon U-Pb dates of ca. 2.57–2.59 Ga, representing a juvenile continental growth for the northeastern NCC. The granitic gneiss is indeed potassic granite and yielded a zircon U-Pb date of ~2.50 Ga, which is contemporaneous with the Jining–Jiaoliao microblock collision(2.53–2.49 Ga), implying another crustal growth event. The well-developed gneissosity in 2.57–2.59 Ga dioritic and granodioritic gneisses together with the 2.5 Ga potassic granite, which crosscuts the gneissosity implies a 2.57–2.50 Ga(mainly 2.53–2.51 Ga) collisional orogeny, probably related to the Jining–Jiaoliao microblock collision. | 18 | Patient-directed vs.fixed-volume PEG for colonoscopy preparation:a randomized controlled trial显示文摘Background:Individualization using different volumes of polyethylene glycol is widely regarded as the optimal solution for bowel preparation,while the patient-directed regimen we propose may serve as a reliable individual solution.This study aimed to assess the efficacy,safety,and satisfaction of bowel preparation with a patient-directed regimen.Methods:Patients in the fixed-volume group ingested the same amount of PEG,while those in patient-directed group ingested different amount according to stool consistency or stool water content.Results:After filtering by exclusion criteria,428 individuals in the fixed-volume group and 103 in the patient-directed group were successfully enrolled and analyzed.Eighty-three(80.6%)individuals in the patient-directed group had a reduced polyethylene glycol volume.There was no significant difference in the bowel preparation efficacy between the two groups(90.0%vs.90.3%,χ^(2)=0.01;p=0.918).Patients in the patient-directed group complained of fewer adverse effects(53.0%vs.36.9%,χ^(2)=8.655;p=0.003),especially vomiting(13.6%vs.1.0%,χ^(2)=13.304;p<0.001).Regarding comfort during bowel preparation,the degree of comfort was not significantly different between groups.Furthermore,the willingness rate for further colonoscopy in the patient-directed group was significantly higher than that in the fixed-volume group(90.3%vs.77.1%,χ^(2)=8.912;p<0.05).Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that the body mass index served as an independent factor impacting quality of bowel preparation with the patient-directed regimen(OR 1.16,95%CI 1.00–1.34;p=0.043).Conclusions:Without decreasing the bowel preparation efficacy,the patient-directed regimen increased the safety and satisfaction of bowel preparation and is expected to be a regular and individual solution for bowel preparation.Individuals with a lower body mass index are more likely to undertake this new regimen. | Jixiang Zhang Xuemei Jia Yuanmei Guo Haotian Jiang Jiaming Hu Siwei Wang Binglu Huang Wenhao Su Jun Liu Xiaoli Wang Weiguo Dong | 2022 | Precision Clinical Medicine2022,5,2: | 0 |
| 19 | Realizing enhanced energy storage and hardness performances in 0.90NaNbO_(3)-0.10Bi(Zn_(0.5)Sn_(0.5))O_(3)ceramics显示文摘Ceramic dielectric capacitors have a broad scope of application in pulsed power supply devices.Relaxor behavior has manifested decent energy storage capabilities in dielectric materials due to its fast polarization response.In addition,an ultrahigh energy storage density can also be achieved in NaNbO_(3)(NN)-based ceramics by combining antiferroelectric and relaxor characteristics.Most of the existing reports about lead-free dielectric ceramics,nevertheless,still lack the relevant research about domain evolution and relaxor behavior.Therefore,a novel lead-free solid solution,(1-x)NaNbO_(3)-xBi(Zn_(0.5)Sn_(0.5))O_(3)(abbreviated as xBZS,x=0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20)was designed to analyze the domain evolution and relaxor behavior.Domain evolutions in xBZS ceramics confirmed the contribution of the relaxor behavior to their decent energy storage characteristics caused by the fast polarization rotation according to the low energy barrier of polar nanoregions(PNRs).Consequently,a high energy storage density of 3.14 J/cm^(3)and energy efficiency of 83.30%are simultaneously available with 0.10 BZS ceramics,together with stable energy storage properties over a large temperature range(20-100℃)and a wide frequency range(1-200 Hz).Additionally,for practical applications,the 0.10 BZS ceramics display a high discharge energy storage density(W_(dis)≈1.05 J/cm^(3)),fast discharge rate(t_(0.9)≈60.60 ns),and high hardness(H≈5.49 GPa).This study offers significant insights on the mechanisms of high performance lead-free ceramic energy storage materials. | Xiaoyan DONG Xu LI Hongyun CHEN Qinpeng DONG Jiaming WANG Xiang WANG Yue PAN Xiuli CHEN Huanfu ZHOU | 2022 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,5: | 0 |
| 20 | An anti-interference detection algorithm for parking monitoring systems显示文摘Purpose–Magnetic sensors have recently been proposed for parking occupancy detection.However,there has adjacent interference problem,i.e.the magnetic signal is easy to be interfered by the vehicles which are parking on adjacent spaces.The purpose of this paper is to propose a sensing algorithm to eliminate the adjacent interference.Design/methodology/approach–The magnetic signals are converted to the pattern representation sequences,and the similarity is calculated using the pattern distance.The detection algorithm includes two levels:local decision and data fusion.In the local decision level,the sampled signals can be divided into three classes:vacant,occupied and uncertain.Then a collaborative decision is used to fusion the signals which belong to the uncertain class for the second level.Findings–An experiment system included 60 sensor nodes that were deployed on bay parking spaces.Experiment results show that the proposed algorithm has better detection accuracy than existing algorithms.Originality/value–This paper proposes a data fusion algorithm to eliminate adjacent interference.To balance the energy consumption and detection accuracy,the algorithm includes two levels:local decision and data fusion.In most of cases,the local decision can obtain the accurate detection result.Only the signals that cannot be correctly detected at the local level need data fusion operation. | Ani Dong Zusheng Zhang Jiaming Chen | 2019 | International Journal of Intelligent Computing and Cybernetics2019,12,4: | 0 |
