1Resilience-based retrofitting of existing urban RC-frame buildings using seismic isolation显示文摘The improvement of the seismic resilience of existing reinforced-concrete(RC) frame buildings, which is essential for the seismic resilience of a city, has become a critical issue. Although seismic isolation is an effective method for improving the resilient performance of such buildings, target-oriented quantitative improvements of the resilient performance of these buildings have been reported rarely. To address this gap, the seismic resilience of two existing RC frame buildings located in a high seismic intensity region of China were assessed based on the Chinese Standard for Seismic Resilience Assessment of Buildings. The critical engineering demand parameters(EDPs) affecting the seismic resilience of such buildings were identified. Subsequently, the seismic resilience of buildings retrofitted with different isolation schemes(i.e., yield ratios) were evaluated and compared, with emphasis on the relationships among yield ratios, EDPs, and levels of seismic resilience. Accordingly, to achieve the highest level of seismic resilience with respect to the Chinese standard, a yield ratio of 3% was recommended and successfully applied to the target-oriented design for the seismic-resilience improvement of an existing RC frame building. 2COVID-19 epidemic prediction and the impact of public health interventions: A review of COVID-19 epidemic models显示文摘The coronavirus disease outbreak of 2019(COVID-19)has been spreading rapidly to all corners of the word,in a very complex manner.A key research focus is in predicting the development trend of COVID-19 scientifically through mathematical modelling.We conducted a systematic review of epidemic prediction models of COVID-19 and the public health intervention strategies by searching the Web of Science database.55 studies of the COVID-19 epidemic model were reviewed systematically.It was found that the COVID-19 epidemic models were different in the model type,acquisition method,hypothesis and distribution of key input parameters.Most studies used the gamma distribution to describe the key time period of COVID-19 infection,and some studies used the lognormal distribution,the Erlang distribution,and theWeibull distribution.The setting ranges of the incubation period,serial interval,infectious period and generation time were 4.9-7 days,4.41-8.4 days,2.3-10 days and 4.4-7.5 days,respectively,and more than half of the incubation periods were set to 5.1 or 5.2 days.Most models assumed that the latent period was consistent with the incubation period.Some models assumed that asymptomatic infections were infectious or pre-symptomatic transmission was possible,which overestimated the value of R0.For the prediction differences under different public health strategies,the most significant effect was in travel restrictions.There were different studies on the impact of contact tracking and social isolation,but it was considered that improving the quarantine rate and reporting rate,and the use of protective face mask were essential for epidemic prevention and control.The input epidemiological parameters of the prediction models had significant differences in the prediction of the severity of the epidemic spread.Therefore,prevention and control institutions should be cautious when formulating public health strategies by based on the prediction results of mathematical models.Yue Xiang Yonghong Jia Linlin Chen Lei Guo Bizhen Shu Enshen Long 2021Infectious Disease Modelling2021,6,1:3
3Overexpression of miR-101 suppresses collagen synthesis by targeting EZH2 in hypertrophic scar fibroblasts显示文摘Background:MicroRNA-101(miR-101)is a tumor suppressor microRNA(miRNA)and its loss is associated with the occurrence and progression of various diseases.However,the biological function and target of miR-101 in the pathogenesis of hypertrophic scars(HS)remains unknown.Methods:We harvested HS and paired normal skin(NS)tissue samples from patients and cultured their fibroblasts(HSF and NSF,respectively).We used quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR),fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH),enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays(ELISA)and Western blot analyses to measure mRNA levels and protein expression of miR-101,enhancer of zeste homolog 2(EZH2),collagen 1 and 3(Col1 and Col3)andα-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA)in different in vitro conditions.We also used RNA sequencing to evaluate the relevant signaling pathways and bioinformatics analysis and dual-luciferase reporter assays to predict miR-101 targets.We utilized a bleomycin-induced fibrosis mouse model in which we injected miR-101 mimics to evaluate collagen deposition in vivo.Results:We found low expression of miR-101 in HS and HSF compared to NS and NSF.Overexpressing miR-101 decreased Col1,Col3 andα-SMA expression in HSF.We detected high expression of EZH2 in HS and HSF.Knockdown of EZH2 decreased Col1,Col3 andα-SMA in HSF.Mechanistically,miR-101 targeted the 3-untranslated region(3UTR)of EZH2,as indicated by the decreased expression of EZH2.Overexpressing EZH2 rescued miR-101-induced collagen repression.MiR-101 mimics effectively suppressed collagen deposition in the bleomycin-induced fibrosis mouse model.Conclusions:Our data reveal that miR-101 targets EZH2 in HS collagen production,providing new insight into the pathological mechanisms underlying HS formation.Jie Li Yan Li Yunchuan Wang Xiang He Jing Wang Weixia Cai Yanhui Jia Dan Xiao Jian Zhang Ming Zhao Kuo Shen Zichao Li Wenbin Jia Kejia Wang Yue Zhang Linlin Su Huayu Zhu Dahai Hu 2021Burns & Trauma2021,9,1:3
4颈五针穴微针刀治疗颈性眩晕的效果评价显示文摘目的:观察颈五针穴微针刀治疗颈性眩晕的临床疗效。方法:将黄石爱康医院中医科就诊的100例颈性眩晕患者随机分为观察组50例、对照组50例,分别采用微针刀治疗和针刺治疗,对比两组治疗效果。结果:观察组治愈27例,好转21例,无效2例,总有效率96.00%(48/50);对照组治愈19例,好转20例,无效11例,总有效率78.00%(39/50)。两组总有效率比较,差异有统计学意义(P <0.05)。结论:颈五针穴微针刀治疗颈性眩晕的疗效显著。贾琼珍 Jia Linlin Pooya Safaei Zahra Kazemipour 2020中医临床研究2020,12,18:2
5Dynamic features of near-inertial oscillations in the Northwestern Pacific derived from mooring observations from^2015 to 2018显示文摘Near-inertial oscillation is an important physical process transferring surface wind energy into deep ocean.We investigated the near-inertial kinetic energy(NIKE)variability using acoustic Doppler current profiler measurements from a mooring array deployed in the tropical western Pacific Ocean along 130°E at 8.5°N,11°N,12.6°N,15°N,and 17.5°N from September 2015 to January 2018.Spatial features,decay timescales,and significant seasonal variability of the observed NIKE were described.At the mooring sites of 17.5°N,15°N,and 12.6°N,the NIKE peaks occurred in boreal autumn and the NIKE troughs were observed in boreal spring.By contrast,the NIKE at 11°N and 8.5°N showed peaks in winter and troughs in summer.Tropical cyclones and strong wind events played an important role in the emergence of high-NIKE events and explained the seasonality and latitudinal characteristics of the observed NIKE.HU Shijian LIU Lingling GUAN Cong ZHANG Linlin WANG Jianing WANG Qingye MA Jie WANG Fujun JIA Fan FENG Junqiao LU Xi WANG Fan HU Dunxin 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,4:2

7Query Translation on the Fly in Deep Web Integration显示文摘To facilitate users to access the desired information,many researches have dedicated to the Deep Web(i.e. Web data-bases) integration. We focus on query translation which is an im-portant part of the Deep Web integration. Our aim is to construct automatically a set of constraints mapping rules so that the system can translate the query from the integrated interface to the Web database interfaces based on them. We construct a concept hierar-chy for the attributes of the query interfaces,especially,store the synonyms and the types(e.g. Number,Text,etc.) for every concept. At the same time,we construct the data hierarchies for some con-cepts if necessary. Then we present an algorithm to generate the constraint mapping rules based on these hierarchies. The approach is suitable for the scalability of such application and can be ex-tended easily from one domain to another for its domain inde-pendent feature. 8Ce-promoted Mn/ZSM-5 catalysts for highly efficient decomposition of ozone显示文摘Manganese oxides supported by ZSM-5 zeolite(Mn/ZSM-5) as well as their further modified by Ce promoter were achieved by simple impregnation method for ozone catalytic decomposition. The yCe20Mn/ZSM-5–81 catalyst with 8% Ce loading showed the highest catalytic activity at relative humidity of 50% and a space velocity of 360 L/(g × hr), giving 93% conversion of 600 ppm O_(3) after 5 hr. Moreover, this sample still maintained highly activity and stability in humid air with 50%–70% relative humidity. Series of physicochemical characterization including X-ray diffraction, temperature-programmed technology(NH_3-TPD and H_(2)-TPR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and oxygen isotopic exchange were introduced to disclose the structure-performance relationship. The results indicated that moderate Si/Al ratio(81) of zeolite support was beneficial for ozone decomposition owing to the synergies of acidity and hydrophobicity. Furthermore, compared with 20 Mn/ZSM-5-81, Ce doping could enhance the amount of low valance manganese(such as Mn^(2+) and Mn^(3+)). Besides, the Ce^(3+)/Ce^(4+) ratio of 8Ce20Mn/ZSM-5-81 sample was higher than that of 4Ce_(2)0 Mn/ZSM-5-81. Additionally, the synergy between the MnO_x and CeO_(2) could easily transfer electron via the redox cycle, thus resulting in an increased reducibility at low temperatures and high concentration of surface oxygen. 10Vancomycin pretreatment attenuates acetaminophen-induced liver injury through 2-hydroxybutyric acid显示文摘Liver injury caused by acetaminophen(AP)overdose is a leading public health problem.Although APinduced liver injury is well recognized as the formation of N-acetyl-p-benzoquinone(NAPQI),a toxic metabolite of AP,resulting in cell damage,emerging evidence indicates that AP-induced liver injury is also associated with gut microbiota.However,the gut microbiota-involved mechanism remains largely unknown.In our study,we found that vancomycin(Vac)pretreatment(100 mg/kg,twice a day for 4 days)attenuated AP-induced liver injury,altered the composition of gut microbiota,and changed serum metabolic profile.Moreover,we identified Vac pretreatment elevated cecum and serum 2-hydroxybutyric acid(2-HB),which ameliorated AP-induced cell damage and liver injury in mice by reducing AP bioavailability and elevating GSH levels.Our current results revealed the novel role of 2-HB in protecting AP-induced liver injury and add new evidence for gut microbiota in affecting AP toxicity.Ningning Zheng Yu Gu Ying Hong Lili Sheng Linlin Chen Feng Zhang Jie Hou Weidong Zhang Zean Zhang Wei Jia Houkai Li 2020Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2020,10,6:1

12Assessment of land degradation in Inner Mongolia between 2000 and 2020 based on remote sensing data显示文摘Achieving land degradation neutrality(LDN)worldwide is a significant target of the Sustainable Development Goal(SDG15.3).Inner Mongolia,as a typical dryland region in northern China,has carried out several large-scale ecological restoration programs to combat land degradation.However,there is a lack of comprehensive assess-ment of its land degradation situation after ecological programs implementation,which is of great significance to supporting SDG15.3 in China.This study analyzed the land degradation situation using the improved SDG15.3.1 calculation framework based on fine resolution data in Inner Mongolia from 2000 to 2020,and finally compre-hensively evaluated the land status of the whole region and those subject to ecological programs.The results show that net land restoration proportion of various ecological project regions and whole region continues to increase.The scope of the Grain for Green Program(GGP)had the largest proportion of net land restoration while the Natural Reserve Program(NRP)had the lowest proportion from 2000 to 2020.The net land restoration area of Inner Mongolia during 2000-2010 and 2010-2020 was 35,800 km 2 and 65,300 km 2,respectively.Overall,Inner Mongolia has achieved statistically zero growth in land degradation under the governance of ecological restora-tion programs.Therefore,reasonable planning,well monitoring,and timely assessment of ecological restoration programs are crucial to support SDG15.3.Linlin Zhao Kun Jia Xin Liu Jie Li Mu Xia 2023Geography and Sustainability2023,4,2:1

17Iron Regulation of Wetland Vegetation Performance Through Synchronous Effects on Phosphorus Acquisition Efficiency显示文摘Iron-rich groundwater flowing into wetlands is a worldwide environmental pollution phenomenon that is closely associated with the stability of wetland ecosystems. Combined with high phosphorus(P) loading from agricultural runoff, the prediction of the evolution of wetland vegetation affected by compound contamination is particularly urgent. We tested the effects of anaerobic iron-rich groundwater discharge in a freshwater marsh by simulating the effect of three levels of eutrophic water on native plants(Glyceria spiculosa(Fr. Schmidt.) Rosh.). The management of wetland vegetation with 1–20 mg/L Fe input is an efficient method to promote the growth of plants, which showed an optimum response under a 0.10 mg/L P surface water environment. Iron-rich groundwater strongly affects the changes in ecological niches of some wetland plant species and the dominant species. In addition, when the P concentration in a natural body of water is too high, the governance effect of eutrophication might not be as expected. Under iron-rich groundwater conditions, the δ^(13)C values of organs were more depleted, which can partially explain the differences in δ^(13)C in the soil profile. Conversely, the carbon isotope composition of soil organic carbon is indicative of past changes in vegetation.
