1Reaction between Ti and boron nitride based investment shell molds used for casting titanium alloys显示文摘The aim of this paper was to study the reaction between a Ti-6Al-4V alloy and boron nitride based investment shell molds used for invest- ment casting titanium. In BN based investment shell molds, the face coatings are made of pretreated hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) with a few yttria (Y2O3) and colloidal yttria as binder. The Ti-6Al-4V alloy was melted in a controlled atmosphere induction furnace with a segment water-cooled copper crucible. The cross-section of reaction interface between Ti alloys and shell mold was investigated by electron probe micro-analyzer (EPMA) and microhardness tester. The results show that the reaction is not serious, the thickness of the reacting layer is about 30-50 μm, and the thickness of α-case is about 180-200 μm. 2Microstructural evolution and corrosion behavior of directionally solidified FeCoNiCrAl high entropy alloy显示文摘The FeCoNiCrAl alloys have many potential applications in the fields of structural materials, but few attempts were made to characterize the directional solidification of high entropy alloys. In the present research, the microstructure and corrosion behavior of FeCoNiCrAl high entropy alloy have been investigated under directional solidification. The results show that with increasing solidification rate, the interface morphology of the alloy evolves from planar to cellular and dendritic. The electrochemical experiment results demonstrate that the corrosion products of both non-directionally and directionally solidified FeCoNiCrAl alloys appear as rectangular blocks in phases which Cr and Fe are enriched, while Al and Ni are depleted, suggesting that Al and Ni are dissolved into the NaCl solution. Comparison of the potentiodynamic polarization behaviors between the two differently solidified FeCoNiCrAl high entropy alloys in a 3.5%NaCl solution shows that the corrosion resistance of directionally solidified FeCoNiCrAl alloy is superior to that of the non-directionally solidified FeCoNiCrAl alloy.Cui Hongbao Wang Ying Wang Jinyong Guo Xuefeng Fu Hengzhi 2011China Foundry2011,8,3:7
3Experimental and measured research on three-dimensional deformation law of gas drainage borehole in coal seam显示文摘Using self-researched gas drainage borehole stability dynamic monitoring device, three-dimensional deformation characteristics of borehole under steady vertical load were researched experimentally and systematically. This research indicated that under the action of steady loading, the mechanical deformation path of the simulated gas drainage borehole is gradually complicated, and the decay of the borehole circumferential strain is an important characterization of the prediction and early warning of borehole instability and collapse. The horizontal position of borehole occurs compressive strain, and the vertical of which occurs tensile strain under the action of vertical stress. At the initial stage of loading, the vertical strain is more sensitive than that in the horizontal direction. After a certain period of time, the horizontal strain is gradually higher than the vertical one, and the intersection of the borehole horizontal diameter and the hole wall is the stress concentration point. With the increase of the depth of hole, the strain shows a gradual decay trend as a whole, and the vertical strain decays more observably, but there is no absolute position correlation between the amount of strain decay and the increase in borehole depth,and the area within 1.5 times the orifice size is the borehole stress concentration zone.Hongbao Zhao Jinyu Li Yihong Liu Yikuo Wang Tao Wang Hui Cheng 2020International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020,30,3:5
4Optical orientation and shifting of a single multiwalled carbon nanotube显示文摘The orientation and shifting of individual carbon nanotubes are extremely important in the assembly of building blocks of nanodevices and in the development of one-dimensional materials for interdisciplinary applications.Here,we report an optical method that is capable of producing the controlled orientation and targeted shifting of single multiwalled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)using an optical-fiber nanotip.In a demonstration of this technique,a single MWCNT with an outer diameter of 50 nm and a length of 0.9 mm was first trapped by the nanotip using a laser beam with a wavelength of 980 nm and was then oriented and shifted along the nanotip axis as a result of the interaction of the MWCNT with the optical field output by the nanotip.Various optical powers were applied to characterize the orientation and shifting performance.The orientation and shifting of MWCNTs of various sizes were also demonstrated.Hongbao Xin Baojun Li 2014Light(Science & Applications)2014,3,1:4
5Numerical study of current fields near the Changjiang Estuary and impact of Quick-EnKF assimilation显示文摘A 30-d current numerical simulation is running for the Yangshan Port,the Changjiang Estuary,the Hangzhou Bay and their adjacent seas using a finite volume coastal ocean model (FVCOM),with Changjiang River runoff and wind effect being considered.At the open boundary,this model is driven by the water level obtained from prediction including eight main partial tides.After the harmonic analysis,the cotidal chart and the iso-amplitude line as well as the current ellipse distribution map are displayed to illustrate the propagation property of a tidal wave.Horizontal velocity of both the U and V components coincides with the actual measurement,which shows that the model result is credible to describe the hydrodynamic pattern in this sea area.On this basis,real-time current data from high-frequency radar is assimilated with the implementation of quick ensemble Kalman filter,which takes the variation tendency of the state vector to compute the analysis field,instead of integrating the field for N (the number of ensemble) times as it used to in the standard EnKF,aiming at raising the efficiency of computation,reducing the error of prediction and at the same time,improving the forecast effect.CHEN Xueen ZHAN Peng CHEN Jinrui QIAN Hongbao 2011Acta Oceanologica Sinica2011,30,5:4
6Downregulation of circ-ZNF609 Promotes Heart Repair by Modulating RNA N^(6)-Methyladenosine-Modified Yap Expression显示文摘Circular RNAs take crucial roles in several pathophysiological processes.The regulatory role and its underlying mechanisms of circ-ZNF609 in the heart remains largely unknown.Here,we report that circ-ZNF609 is upregulated during myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)remodeling.Knockdown of circ-ZNF609 protects against acute I/R injury and attenuates left ventricle dysfunction after I/R remodeling in vivo.In vitro,circ-ZNF609 regulates cardiomyocyte survival and proliferation via modulating the crosstalk between Hippo-YAP and Akt signaling.Mechanically,N6-methyladenosine-modification is involved in the regulatory role of circ-ZNF609 on YAP.An in-depth study indicates that knockdown of circ-ZNF609 decreases the expression of YTHDF3 and further fine-tuned the accessibility of Yap mRNA to YTHDF1 and YTHDF2 to regulate YAP expression.circ-ZNF609 knockdown represents a promising therapeutic strategy to combat the pathological process of myocardial I/R injury.Lijun Wang Pujiao Yu Jiaqi Wang Guie Xu Tianhui Wang Jingyi Feng Yihua Bei Jiahong Xu Hongbao Wang Saumya Das Junjie Xiao 2022Research2022,,3:3
7Numerical study of M_2 internal tide generation and propagation in the Luzon Strait显示文摘Based on the z-coordinate ocean model HAMSOM,we introduced the internal-tide viscosity term and applied the model to numerically investigate the M2 internal tide generation and propagation in the Luzon Strait (LS).The results show that (1) in the upper 250 m depth,at the thermocline,the maximum amplitude of the generated internal tides in the LS can reach 40 m;(2) the major internal tides are generated to the northwest of Itbayat Island,the southwest of Batan Island and the northwest of the Babuyan Islands;(3) during the propagation the baroclinic energy scattering and reflection is obvious,which exists under the effect of the specific topography in the South China Sea (SCS);(4) the westward-propagating internal tides are divided into two branches entering the SCS.While passing through 118 E,the major branch is divided into two branches again.The strongest internal tides in the LS are generated to the northwest of Itbayat Island and propagate northeastward to the Pacific.However,to the east of 122 E,most of the internal tides propagate southeastward to the Pacific as a beam.LI Huan SONG Dan CHEN Xueen QIAN Hongbao MU Lin SONG Jun 2011Acta Oceanologica Sinica2011,30,5:3
8Shoaling of the internal solitary waves over the continental shelf of the northern South China Sea显示文摘The activities of internal solitary waves(ISWs) over the continental shelf of the northern South China Sea(SCS)are of high complexity. In this study, we investigated the spatial-temporal characteristics of the shoaling ISWs over the northern SCS continental shelf using the satellite images and the results of numerical simulation. The examination of the ISW signals in the satellite optical images revealed the existence of three types of ISWs in the region north to the Dongsha Island, namely, mode-1 depression ISW, mode-1 elevation ISW, and mode-2 convex ISW. The geographical distributions of these ISWs were derived from the satellite images. Numerical results exhibited the process of polarity conversion of ISWs, by which mode-1 elevation waves were transformed from the shoaling mode-1 depression waves. 9Microstructures and Tensile Properties of Hot-extruded Mg-6Zn-xCe(x=0,0.6,1.0,2.0) Alloys显示文摘Mg-6Zn-x Ce(x = 0, 0.6, 1.0, 2.0) alloy ingots with diameter of 50 mm were extruded into bars with diameter of 12 mm at 300 ℃. The microstructures were analyzed by X-ray diffraction, optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy, and mechanical properties were tested at room temperature. The results showed that major intermetallic composition in as-cast Mg-6Zn and Mg-6Zn-0.6Ce alloys was Mg_4Zn_7 phase, during extrusion Mg_4Zn_7 phase was dissolved into matrix and then precipitated as MgZn_2. In as-cast and as-extruded Mg-6Zn-1Ce and Mg-6Zn-2Ce alloys the major intermetallic composition was T phase. The microstructure of as-extruded alloy was refined due to complete dynamic recrystallization, the average grain size decreased with increasing Ce content, which were 12.1, 11.7, 11.0 and 10.0 mm, respectively. High density MgZn_2 precipitated in Mg-6Zn and Mg-6Zn-0.6Ce alloys. The broken T phase particles were distributed linearly along extrusion direction. Mg-6Zn-0.6Ce alloy exhibited a high yield strength of 226.3 MPa that was about 24 MPa higher than Mg-6Zn alloy. 10MicroRNA-activated hydrogel scaffold generated by 3D printing accelerates bone regeneration显示文摘Bone defects remain a major threat to human health and bone tissue regeneration has become a prominent clinical demand worldwide.The combination of microRNA(miRNA)therapy with 3D printed scaffolds has always posed a challenge.It can mimic physiological bone healing processes,in which a biodegradable scaffold is gradually replaced by neo-tissue,and the sustained release of miRNA plays a vital role in creating an optimal osteogenic microenvironment,thus achieving promising bone repair outcomes.However,the balance between two key factors-scaffold degradation behavior and miRNA release profile-on osteogenesis and bone formation is still poorly understood.Herein,we construct a series of miRNA-activated hydrogel scaffolds(MAHSs)generated by 3D printing with different crosslinking degree to screened the interplay between scaffold degradation and miRNA release in the osteoinduction activity both in vitro and in vivo.Although MAHSs with a lower crosslinking degree(MAHS-0 and MAHS-0.25)released a higher amount of miR-29b in a sustained release profile,they degraded too fast to provide prolonged support for cell and tissue ingrowth.On the contrary,although the slow degradation of MAHSs with a higher crosslinking degree(MAHS-1 and MAHS-2.5)led to insufficient release of miR-29b,their adaptable degradation rate endowed them with more efficient osteoinductive behavior over the long term.MAHS-1 gave the most well-matched degradation rate and miR-29b release characteristics and was identified as the preferred MAHSs for accelerated bone regeneration.This study suggests that the bio-adaptable balance between scaffold degradation behavior and bioactive factors release profile plays a critical role in bone regeneration.These findings will provide a valuable reference about designing miRNAs as well as other bioactive molecules activated scaffold for tissue regeneration.Ting Pan Wenjing Song Hongbao Xin Haiyue Yu He Wang Dandan Ma Xiaodong Cao Yingjun Wang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:2
11APOBEC3B and IL-6 form a positive feedback loop in hepatocellular carcinoma cells显示文摘APOBEC3 protein families, a DNA cytidine deaminase, were up-regulated in multiple tumors. However, the relationship between Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) and APOBEC3B(A3B) remains unknown. It has been confirmed that interleukin-6(IL-6)has significant impacts on oncogenesis of HCC. Here, we reported that the expression of IL-6 was substantially up-regulated by A3 B in HepG2 cells. A3 B induced IL-6 expression through relocating HuR to enhance the IL-6 mRNA stability. Further analysis indicated that IL-6 also increased the expression of A3 B through JAK1/STAT3 signaling pathway, which formed a positive feedback to maintain the continuous expression of A3 B and IL-6, and thereby promoted the prolonged non-resolving inflammation. 13Studying the performance of fully encapsulated rock bolts with modified structural elements显示文摘Numerical simulation is a useful tool in investigating the loading performance of rock bolts.The cable structural elements(cableSELs)in FLAC3D are commonly adopted to simulate rock bolts to solve geotechnical issues.In this study,the bonding performance of the interface between the rock bolt and the grout material was simulated with a two-stage shearing coupling model.Furthermore,the FISH language was used to incorporate this two-stage shear coupling model into FLAC3D to modify the current cableSELs.Comparison was performed between numerical and experimental results to confirm that the numerical approach can properly simulate the loading performance of rock bolts.Based on the modified cableSELs,the influence of the bolt diameter on the performance of rock bolts and the shear stress propagation along the interface between the bolt and the grout were studied.The simulation results indicated that the load transfer capacity of rock bolts rose with the rock bolt diameter apparently.With the bolt diameter increasing,the performance of the rock bolting system was likely to change from the ductile behaviour to the brittle behaviour.Moreover,after the rock bolt was loaded,the position where the maximum shear stress occurred was variable.Specifically,with the continuous loading,it shifted from the rock bolt loaded end to the other end.Jianhang Chen Hongbao Zhao Fulian He Junwen Zhang Kangming Tao 2021International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2021,8,1:2

19First-principle calculation on mechanical and thermal properties of B2-NiSc with point defects显示文摘Using the first-principles plane-wave pseudo-potential method based on density functional theory,the effect of vacancy and anti-position defect on the mechanical and thermal properties of B2-NiSc intermetallics were discussed in detail.Several parameters,such as the shear modulus,bulk modulus,modulus of elasticity,C_(11)-C_(12),the Debye temperature and Poisson's ratio,have been calculated to evaluate the effect of vacancy and anti-position defect on the hardness,ductility and thermal properties of B2-NiSc intermetallics.The results show that V_(Ni),Sc_(Ni),V_(Sc)and Ni_(Sc)the four point defects all make the crystal hardness decrease and improve plasticity of B2-NiSc intermetallics.The entropy,enthalpy and free energy of V_(Ni),Sc_(Ni),V_(Sc)and Ni_(Sc)are monotonously changed as temperature changes.From the perspective of free energy,Ni_(Sc)is the most stable,while Sc_(Ni)is the most unstable.Debye temperature of NiSc intermetallics with four different point defects shows V_(Ni),Sc_(Ni),V_(Sc)and Ni_(Sc)the four point defects all reduce the stability of B2-NiSc intermetallics.Zhipeng Yuan Hongbao Cui Xuefeng Guo 2017Journal of Semiconductors2017,38,1:1
